Oh my goodness, you just HAVE to see the First Frost bundle of products, and Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper, in Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Catalogue! A gorgeous stamp set containing floral and leafy images, and lovely sentiments, pairs with awesome dies that cut out almost every image. The papers are shimmery, and just heavenly. Here's the result of my first play with these products. I chose to use a sentiment from the Darling Label punch box, as I was looking for something smalish, to fit amongst the stamped flowers. ... and here is a different view, so you can see the shimmer of the paper: Listed below are the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to order these products for yourself, I would love for you to shop with me. My online store can be accessed by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below. I'll have another card, using very different patterns and colours of paper from this same DSP pack, to share on Tuesday. It is a birthday card for a friend, and I will wait until I've given it to her, to share it on my blog. Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope you are having a great weekend! Hello and welcome to my blog post for Colour INKspiration #77! Another gorgeous inspiration photo to inspire all of us. Wouldn't it be the most amazing thing to lie in a field of tulips looking up to a perfectly blue sky! I chose this colour palette to create a card for Mothers Day. They are soft, beautiful and calming colours that work perfectly together. Start with a Soft Sea Foam card base measuring 21cm x 14.9cm scored and folded in half. Cut a piece of Garden Green Card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm for your matt layer. Cut a piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock to measure 10cm x 14.4cm and use the Scripty 3D Embossing folder to create another matt layer. You will need to cut this down to measure 9.7cm 14.1cm after you have embossed it.Glue to the Garden Green Matt layer. Cut a Stitched Nested Label in Very Vanilla Card Stock. Stamp the sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings in Garden Green Inkon the bottom right hand side of the Stitched Nested Label. Cut two of the background sprays from the Frosted Bouquet Dies out of Soft Sea Foam card stock. Stamp all the images on Very Vanilla card stock. I have used Old Olive for the leaves and stems and Seaside Spray for the flowers. I used the Stampartus to stamp the images that have two colours in them. Arrange the flowers and background spays on the Stitched Nested Label and secure with dimensionals and glue dots. You can choose what to pop up yourself. Cut a piece of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding ribbon to measure 25cm Colour with the Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin' Blend. Cut 12cm off and wrap this around the Scripty layer and secure at the back with tear and tape. With the remaining ribbon tie a bow on the right hand side. Glue this layer to the card base. Pop the Stitched Label layer up on the card front using dimensionals. Thank you for visiting my blog today. You are greatly appreciated! Take care of yourself, your family, friends and community! Ok, so I've discovered I REALLY like the new First Frost Bundle in the Holiday Catalog. I knew I liked it, but when I set out to make a birthday card and still wanted to use this bundle...I realized I REALLY like it! It's got to be the adorable flowers. They have a watercolored look and are just downright pretty! The flowers are layered on top of sweet Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and some die cut and punched leaves. The sentiment is stamped in Calypso Coral and cut with one of the Stitched Label Framelits. One of the adorable Blossoms
I love the way this First Frost card turned out. It looks like a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I used the First Frost Bundle which includes the First Frost stamp set and Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies. I stamped the flowers in Berry Burst ink and the leaves in Old Olive ink. I cut out leaves with Old Olive cardstock and the other branches are cut out in Berry Burst cardstock.
This card turned out a little busy for my liking. However, I thought I'd put it out there anyway, since we are all different and like different things! I think it would look a lot better if I'd kept the background plainer, but that's just me. What do you think? I've used products from the Frosted Floral Suite. The whole card has a subtle shimmer, thanks to the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. The First Frost stamp set is just stunning - grab the bundle by January 2. After this, it will no longer be available at the bundle price. Thanks for visiting! Have a great week. Hello there fellow crafters and stampers! Welcome to my papercrafting blog where I share my creations using Stampin' Up! products. I literally received a box of new goodies this afternoon and had to break them out and create with them like NOW! So I decided to play along with the Case the Designer Challenge over at the Global Design Project | #GDP152, CASEing designer Janneke de Jong. If you haven't heard of the term CASE before in the crafting and papercraft world, CASE means to Copy And Selectively Edit. When CASEing a project take what you like from the design and make it your own. As with Janneke's creation I really loved her use of the purples, the large Stitched Labels die and the leaves and flowers that she used and that is where I started my card for today. A majority of the products that I received in my delivery today came from the Frosted Floral Suite in the new 2018 Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalogue, starting 5th September. And I just had to rip open the absolutely stunning Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper. Oh me, oh my Stampin' Up! have given us another out of this world DSP in the Holiday Catalogue!! To keep with the purples in Janneke's card I used the Blackberry Bliss sheet from the Frosted Florals DSP. In the photos here the DSP almost looks grainy, and it's not, but each sheet has a beautiful, sparkly shimmer to it. Super gorgeous and amazingly pretty! I've layered the Blackberry Bliss sheet on some Soft Suede Cardstock. How soft and pretty does the Tranquil Tide 1/4" Ribbon look? Such an on trend colour at the moment and the velvet is so on trend with the luxe factor that you see everywhere. I really love the Tranquil Tide with the Blackberry Bliss. Gorgeous colour combo! The Stitched Label Dies from the Stampin' Up! 2018 - 2019 Annual Catalogue just go with everything and really make an accent piece to any creation! That big die piece looks amazing in any colour but I've just used Shimmery White to keep with the shimmery look of the DSP. I do hope that these dies stay around for a long time! To accent with the Blackberry Bliss, I teamed up the DSP with some Mint Macaron and Vellum die cut foliage from the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies and the Blushing Bride florals are from the First Frost stamp set that co-ordinate with the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies. There is so much to 'Ooh' and 'Aah' over in this suite. You won't be disappointed with these products! Thanks so much for stopping by! Live in Australia?
