I appreciate you taking the time to find out more about me, Kylie Bertucci. I live in Werribee, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Bruno is my husband and is very supportive of my Stampin' Up! Business. He is an Architect by trade, however he has left his trade to come and join me with Stampin' Up!®. Yes you read right! I have a husband that really enjoys card making and scrapbooking, you will see him on my blog from time to time. We don't have any children, we have FUR BABIES - Jasper and Bella who are the loves of our life. They are soooo adorable! They are cavoodles - King Charles Cavalier mixed with Poodle. They are now 10 years old. How did I become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator? In 2009 I was told by my sister-in-law Angela about Stampin' Up! and how amazing it is and how she was going to join as a demonstrator. I literally rolled my eyes and said "what have you got yourself into???" she didn't say much, just said here have a look at this and gave me the catalogue. Well I don't think that I slept that night. I was tagging pages, writing up wish lists, working out if I had a party how much I would be able to get free. Within a short time I realised that I needed to join, that was the best decision I could have made! My idea for starting up was that I just wanted to get my craft products cheap, then slowly I got a class and then people started to join up, then they were buying and I couldn't believe it, my hobby was becoming a business without me even planning it to happen. Since starting Stampin' Up!® it has opened up so many opportunities for Bruno and I. We really are so grateful to Shelli Gardner - the Co-Founder of Stampin' Up!® for all her hard work keeping this company going and growing. We love being able to support others in their goals and dreams as many don't know what they need to do to make this business a success for them. The Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection by Stampin' Up! encapsulates this essence perfectly, offering a plethora of creative tools to infuse your projects with the sweetness of nature. Let's delve into the heart of this delightful collection and explore how it can elevate your crafting endeavors to new heights. My Blog Hop Project This Blog Hop uses the SAME SUITE as this months Video Class Bundle, but showcases 12 different projects. As mentioned, this month, the feature suite is Natures Sweetness Suite. The Essence of Nature's Sweetness At the core of the Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection are the Lovely & Sweet and Notes of Nature stamp sets. These sets feature intricately designed plant images and sentiments that evoke feelings of love, gratitude, and joy. With stamps ranging from delicate foliage to charming sentiments, they provide endless possibilities for creating heartfelt cards, scrapbook pages, and more. Coordinating Dies and Embellishments Complementing the stamp sets are the Lovely & Sweet Dies and Notes of Nature Dies, offering a seamless way to cut out your stamped images with precision. The dies are thoughtfully crafted to enhance the beauty of your creations, with intricate designs that add a touch of elegance to every project. To further enhance your crafting experience, the collection includes embellishments such as the Gold 1/8" Faux Leather Trim and Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds. These elements add texture and dimension to your creations, elevating them from ordinary to extraordinary. Unveiling Nature's Sweetness: A Step-by-Step Journey To showcase the versatility of the Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection, let's walk through the creation of a stunning project: 1. Stamping the Foundation: Begin with a pecan pie card base stamped with background patterns from the Notes of Nature stamp set. This sets the stage for the natural elegance that will unfold. 2. Layering with Vellum: Add a layer of vellum, cut using one of the dies from the Perennial Postage Dies, to create a soft, ethereal effect that enhances the beauty of the design. 3. Bringing Nature to Life: Stamp the leaf image from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set onto vanilla cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink. Color the images using Stampin' Blends and cut them out using the coordinating dies. This step adds a vibrant burst of color and life to the project. 4. Embellishing with Foliage: Incorporate foliage cut from Old Olive cardstock using a die from the Notes of Nature collection. This adds depth and dimension to the composition, creating visual interest and balance. 5. Adding Texture and Shine: Embellish the project with elements such as the Gold 1/8" Faux Leather Trim and Adhesive-Backed Cork Rounds. These details lend a touch of luxury and sophistication, elevating the overall aesthetic. 6. Finishing Touches: Stamp a sentiment using pecan pie ink onto vanilla cardstock and cut it out using a die from the Lovely & Sweet collection. Adhere it to the card to convey your heartfelt message. Sharing the Sweetness The beauty of this project lies not only in its design but also in the sentiment behind it. As a token of appreciation for your support, this card has been chosen as the customer card for April. Place an order in the Stampin' Up! online store, and you'll receive one of these heartfelt creations, crafted with love and gratitude. In conclusion, the Nature's Sweetness Suite Collection offers a harmonious blend of nature-inspired designs, coordinating dies, and embellishments that empower you to unleash your creativity and bring your visions to life. I decided this year to do some swaps with the inspirational help of Louise Sharp and Judie Novak. Louise motivated me to get my butt into gear and Judie inspired me to make kits. I am so happy that they did! I decided that this time I would do a card kit as I knew that everyone at the convention loves craft and would enjoy having something to take home and make themselves. Plus it was technique based - the Herringbone Technique. This is the card kit that I was offering as a swap. I had so much fun swapping with the demonstrators all over Australia and these are the swaps that I got in return. Be prepared for lots of great inspiration! Hello Everyone I was recently fortunate enough to to win Kylie Bertucci's November 2020 International Blog Highlights Blog Hop and I'...
Hi 👋 - it's Bruno here! So happy to have you here with us today again! We have another project featuring the Beautifully Happy stamp set. It is an AWESOME two-step stamp that is available for you to earn FREE during Saleabration! Here is the stamp set. And, here is the project I made. I started with a Pale Papaya card base. I then added a layer of Kraft, then a layer of DSP from the Dandy Designs pack (its a MEGA pack of DSP in the Saleabration Brochure - 48 sheets of DSP), then another layer of Kraft and then the stamped image. For the stamped image, I used Tuxedo Black for the main image, Soft Sea Foam for the leaves, Pale Papara for the main flower and then Blushing Bride for the other blossoms. You are going to LOVE using this stamp set! It is so simple to create a beautiful image as all of the items in the same colour are in one piece (ie. all the leaves are one stamp, all the flowers are one stamp etc.) And, the sentiment is .... wow! I love the combination of fonts! When can you get your hands on this free stamp set? Are you a demonstrator? If so, you can participate in the demonstrator only pre-order from December 1, 2022. If you are not-yet a demonstrator, you can join our team and participate in the demonstrator only pre-order from December 1, 2022. Today I'm thrilled to be hopping with 10 other crafters, all winners in Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlights contest from earlier this month. Kylie is an extremely talented Stampin' UP! demonstrator, and each month hosts a contest where paper crafters from around the world submit their creations for a blog hop. As noted, I was delighted to have had enough votes on my card to be invited to participate today. The theme of the hop is "Thanks", and here is my card: I rarely have a tendency to use soft, muted colors, but these stamps just call for "soft and pretty". Bloom and Grow is a stamp set of pretty flower arrangements, and the Budding Blooms dies make them easy to cut out. Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the floral design in Crumb Cake ink on Whisper White cardstock, and then stamped it again with Versamark Ink. Using the Stamparatus ensures that my image will be stamped the second time directly on top of my first image. Then I embossed it with Clear Embossing Powder - can you see the shine? It was easy to color within the lines with my Stampin' Blends. Then the image was cut with the dies. Layers, layers, layers...Crumb Cake base, with a skinny Whisper White layer. Then Petal Pink, embossed with the Brick & Mortar folder (I inked the inside of the folder with Crumb Cake ink for a little extra dimension), followed by a strip of Whisper White embossed with the Subtle embossing folder. But wait! Prior to laying down the white strip I ran a ribbon around the card and through a hole on the strip, tying a bow to the left of the greeting. A few extra leaves and some vellum sprigs were added for a little fullness. I think "soft and muted" may be growing on me... Thanks for visiting. Please be sure to follow the link below and see what the other winners have created.

Hi There. I have a quick project to share with you today. Here it is; I'll be honest - these flowers were offcuts. Before throwing them away, I just laid them down and thought 'That looks like a flower.' So, I trimmed them and aligned them .... and thats that! I wrapped some of the mini chevron ribbon around a piece of Daffodil Delight and then mounted the 'flower' onto that. The mini-dimensionals are perfectly sized for this. I then mounted this onto a Daffodil Delight card base. For the sentiment, I white embossed onto Daffodil Delight and mounted using dimensionals. I love it when cards like this just ..... happen. I didn't give this much prior thought - but I love how it turned out. Another example of why you NEED to buy the the Quilt Builder Framelit Kit. Click link below and buy it now.

Hey There! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I wanted to share with you a recent video we recorded live over on YouTube! It was featuring the BRAND new Pattern Party Designer Series Paper Stack. T
Welcome to my blogsite! I’m a retired school teacher and an US Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for 10 years, who has found that Stampin’ Up! has been the perfect fit for me in retirement. It keeps me busy and socially active along with time to visit my son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons. The first Stampin' Up! event I attended was at my home, but I wasn't even the hostess! Some friends of mine wanted to hold a party, but I didn't want any part of it. They did talk me into letting them use my home, as I had a wonderful back porch that was perfect for this type of event. To make a long story short, when I saw gold embossing powder melting into those beautiful images, I was sold! I began attending classes and workshops, and even joined a club. The demonstrator tried for years to talk me into joining Stampin' Up!, but I wasn't interested at the time. Finally, when I was getting close to retirement, I decided now was the time, and I haven't regretted it one single day! My card classes are not about showing you what I can do, but showing you what YOU can do in simple, step-by-step instructions. My 40 years as an Exceptional Student Education teacher has equipped me with the skills of patience and the ability to break card instructions down to small, doable steps. The last thing I want is an overwhelmed customer! My wish is for you to find the card making experience enjoyable and relaxing. Come over to Quincy, Florida, just 30 minutes from Tallahassee, and see what I’m talking about!

For the Kylie Bertucci Demo Blog Hop I am sharing a pretty floral thank you card made using the Color & Contour stamp set.
Hello and welcome, Today, I will be sharing a card that I’ve created for Kylie’s Bertucci’s International Top 10 winners! Myself and nine other lucky winners are partaking in a international blog hop. We had won a competition with Kylie’s blog highlights earlier this month. I would just like to say thank you so much for voting for my card, I really appreciate everyone who took the time to vote for my card. To see everyone’s creations please click on the list of names which you’ll see after my blog. It’s the last day of celerbration today and I had just received the gorgeous Flowering Foils Specialty DSP in the mail. I just love the rose gold and sliver foil designs and it will make any project shine. The paper is so nice to colour-in using the Stampin’ Blends, I wanted the bold flowers in shades of pink using Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick. The foliage is in Old Olive light and dark. Blending the colours together and also using the Color Lifter to create highlights. As the flowers are bold and I do like the colour Old Olive the stripes from the Peaceful Poppies DSP seemed like a nice combination together. I’ve added the Whisper White crinkled Ribbon around the DSP and tied a bow. I’ve also used the Tin Tile Embossing Folder in Whisper White Cardstock for the background panel and layered over the Thick Whisper White card base. I’ve sponged Old Olive Ink onto the Whisper White card base before adding any Cardstock. The sentiment is from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set and I’ve fussy cut out the image. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today! To view the other participants, please click on the list of names below. Happy Crafting Vicki Boucher Product List Ink: Old Olive Cardstock/Paper: Whisper White, Peaceful Poppies and Flowering Foils Specialty DSP Stamp Set: Daisy Delight Embossing Folder: Tin Tile 3D Stampin’ Blends: Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive and Color Lifter Stampin’ Up! Thank you for joining us today for our International Project Life by Stampin' Up! Blog hop. You may be just starting here or have come from the talented Constanze Wirtz. Either way you can make your way around by using the list below so that you don't miss a blog. We have and incredible group of talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators who wanted to highlight Project life by Stampin' Up!® Memory keeping. At the moment you are currently in Australia and you are about to go around the world to different locations being inspired by Project life. I couldn't decide what to show you - so I have shown you quite a bit of my album - but mainly the things that I think will help you to see how easy Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® can be for you. First I want to find out what you think about Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® and what might be your hurdle from purchasing and using it. Project Life by Stampin' Up! Poll I have used Project life by Stampin' Up! and I love it! I am feeling overwhelmed and don't know where to start I am not sure where to get my photo's printed Not sure of how to get my photo's printed at the different sizes Not interested in memory keeping Other Please Specify: Poll Maker Many have expressed that they are feeling overwhelmed but you only need these things to start - The Photo Pocket Pages Project Life Card Collection Photos You don't even need the album right away - you can just test the waters first... I recommend starting with the 6"x8" album if you haven't done it before - It is quick and less overwhelming. A whole album can take you less than one hour! That's right! It is very fast. You can see I used the embellishments and branding from the table.... I thought it was a great idea! I did't want to waste those sequins... I also used them on the inside of the cover too. The CentreStage banner I put a whole punch through and then just clipped it in. Looks great hey! See how simple this can be? just a few photos and one of the Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® Cards and there is a two page spread - this took me literally minutes to put together and yet so many special memories from my time at CentreStage. All I added was some sequins. Now many of you may be wondering how I get the smaller photos? It is so easy!! I have a video I have made for my Australian readers to show you how simple it is to get those photos off your phones and social media and into one of these albums. It is even a great way to collect memento's for the day. How nice to look back at the agenda and remember what happened during the day. This was so much fun - I highly recommend doing it! I asked a number of people if they could write a few notes that they loved from the day and then return the Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® card to me. I gave them two journal cards - one for them to keep and hopefully add to their album and one for me to put in mine. Oh what treasures those notes have been. Some helped me to remember points that I wouldn't have otherwise. Others are nice notes for me. It was a great way to remember the day. Also you can see that the cards are all over the place - I am not one to be perfect - I just put them in anywhere in any direction and you know what - It is just right for me! If you do have photo's that just don't seem to be fitting in - don't think that you can't have two pages with different directions - people can just turn the album to look! It gives you more room to use your photos. So my tips - don't get too bogged down picking exactly where you want each photo to go - however if you do want to preplan ever page - YOU CAN! Becky Higgings has a Project Life app. You can do it all on your phone see how it looks and then know what photos to order. Want to know how to print those smaller 4"x3" photos? You will not believe how easy it is - in Australian you can go to the Big W Photos website and you select collage - not digital photos..... Watch this video to see just how easy it is! I really hope that our blog hop today gets you motivated to give Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® a try and I know that once you try it once and get the hang of what you are doing - you will fall in love with this memory keeping system. It is quick, cheap, so rewarding and creative! Thank you so much for joining me today - please make sure that you don't miss one of these amazing blogs as you hop around. Next up is the talented Dena Plummer Rekow who is a project life superstar! She has been making these albums since they came out. She blogs and has videos about project life so be sure to check out all her amazing resources. Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! I hope you find ideas and creative inspiration as you visit all of the blogs. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support. You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today. We really appreciate your support. You may We have such beautiful new In Colors for 2021 - 23! I decided to use them all making my May customer thank you cards. I used the Color and Contour bundle - stamps and dies (Scalloped Contour Dies) add in the lovely Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, 21-23 In Color blends and ribbon and you have happy mail! I began by scoring my cardstock at 5 1/2" and cutting at 4 1/4" so I have 2 cards of each new In Color - Evening Evergreen, Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, Polished Pink, and Soft Succulent - 5 new yummy colors! I always like to pull my supplies out and snap a picture - it inspires me! Layer 1 is cut from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper using the Scalloped Contour Die; adhere this to your card front using your favorite adhesive. The focal piece for the front is Basic White cardstock cut with the second largest die in the Scalloped Contour set. While I had had the DSP and dies handy, I cut a 3/4" X 4" strip for the inside of the card and a 3/4" X 5 3/4" strip for the front of the envelope. I used the edge die to cut stitched scallops onto the strips. I also cut a piece for the envelope flap. Cut the inside pieces of Basic White Cardstock, 4 1/8" X 5 3/8", adhere the DSP strip at the bottom and adhere to the inside of your card. Adhere the DSP strips to your envelope. Now all that's left is to create your focal piece. Stamp the large flower onto the front of the Basic White using Tuxedo Memento Black ink. Use the fill in stamp to add color to the flower in the coordinating color as your card base; next stamp the sentiment with this ink color. Remember, this is not an exact fit but is designed to look a bit like watercolor. I used the Foam Adhesive Sheets to adhere the focal point to the card. I cut the sheet into 4 pieces. Time to embellish - this is my favorite part! I added a bow onto the flower using the same color as the cardbase and then added gems. For the Pale Papaya card and the Soft Succulent Card I used the Genial Gems and for the other cards I colored the clear Epoxy Essentials with my dark Stampin' Blends. We are back from Sydney after an INCREDIBLE Onstage event this weekend! I can't tell you much HOWEVER - make sure you subscribe to my blog to get the latest news at 5am tomorrow. My blog post will go live then. Subscribe Here and make sure you confirm the email too. This week at the Global Design Project, we are playing along with a sketch challenge which I LOVE. The fastest way for me to create a card is based on a sketch. Here is the sketch this week - I decided to use one of the BRAND new Suites from the new Annual 2017-2018 Catalogue. As demonstrators we get a few perks one of them is being about to pre-order items early. This suite all demonstrators around the world can order RIGHT NOW! Or if you are a customer you can order it on the 1st May 2017. We all know that I had issues chopping my paper right?? So the first thing I did was get that paper out and I made sure I picked my most favourite pieces - the ones that I normally would want to save and it would never see the light of day again..... So I got out the SPECIAL ONES and you know what I did?? I CHOPPED it and it felt so good to be using it right away. Aren't these cards wonderful?? This paper needs people to see it and guess what?? Now I have permission to buy some more. I am really excited now. #loveitchopit. You you truely love your paper - CHOP it up. The thinlits that come with this suite are stunning!! I used them with the gold foil. Here is the full suite which I am within Policy to show you because the Pre-order has begun. Any questions about policy and me showing this you can call Stampin' Up!® if you are concerned. You can see the full policy HERE if you are a demonstrator and would like to learn some new things! Feel free to pin this to your pinterest boards too for the upcoming 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue Products. Here is the same card just with a different sentiment and Framelit used. I wanted to make sure that both pieces of paper I cut got to good use. I find that it is easier if you use the whole sheet up and cut them to card front sizes is the best for me. So here in Australia I would cut them at 10cm x 14.4cm and have them ready to go for my cards. I can then cut them down smaller but I find that is a really good starting point for me. I used gold embossing for the sentiments - Aren't they amazing! I love the font. Of course don't forget inside the card - the wonderful Eastern Palace Vinyl Stickers are perfect for decorating inside as well as outside. Thanks for joining me today!! I will have a HUGE update tomorrow so make sure you subscribe to my blog to get the latest info. Click Here.
Normally I go live over on my Youtube Channel today - however I am currently visiting my Father in Perth after an operation. He is recovering well and we are so grateful for your cards and lovely mess
WARNING!! This post comes with LOTS of inspiration so be prepared to have your mind BLOWN and to learn a new way of using your Designer Series Paper. To join my #loveitchopit Workshop and get help with any hoarding tendencies you may have or to get LOTS of ideas you can join HERE. Here is a video that I made explaining this new way of doing One Sheet Wonders. Many of us keep (hoard) our 12 x 12 paper and it collects and collects and collects. Never to see the light of day. That makes your paper SAD. 😢😭 You want to find an easy way to get chopping and USE your Designer Series Paper. I have found a way that will get you happening AND you can still do a much easier One Sheet Wonder too.💗😍 Check out my video and then you can see the samples that I made using the cuts I made during the video. You can see by cutting it at the BASE SIZE of 10cm x 14.4cm or 4" x 5.25" you have endless possibilities and it is better for storage etc. I also mention some PDF inserts that I have used with the Stampin' Up!® Cases found on page 206... These are from Sarah Berry in the UK. You can download those PDF inserts FREE for your cases HERE. This is a great way to store your #loveitchopit Pieces and it's easy to see, neat, tide and organised. Marie Kondo would be proud of us sparking joy in our craft rooms! Here are the cards that I whipped up in no time because they were so easy! Feel free to pin for ideas. Remember don't get stuck on the measurements - just let your eye take you where you want to go. Isn't it incredible to see how many different layouts you can make from that BASE SIZE - 10cm x 14.4cm or 4" x 5.25"? Once you have that first step then the possibilities are endless. I would love to hear if this helps you with your Designer Series Paper cutting issues. Just know that you are not alone in your hoarding tendencies. Thank you for joining us for our very exciting blog hop! Every month I hold an International Blog Highlight hosted on my blog. It is LOTS of fun and anyone is welcome to join in as long as you use all current Stampin' Up!® product. The best part - you get to vote for your top favourites. Today I am hopping along with the winners of my highlights from September. Our theme is the same as the International Highlights last month which was Sympathy. You may be starting here or have come from the person before me in the hop - that is fine! You can still hop all the way around and not miss one. The list is at the end of this post. Here is my project for today; I used the Graceful Garden stamp set on this project. I stamped the flower and then added some colour using the Watercolour pencils. In the corners, I copper embossed the geometric pattern. I then mounted onto a piece of copper foil card and then onto a Blushing Bride card base. The next international highlights is going to be the theme of Changes and will be held on my blog next week. For May’s project, I had a brainstorm while I was out of town. I envisioned see-through baby blocks with the letters, A, B, C, on them. I was excited to return home, and put my idea into action. It t
I’m not good at watercolour backgrounds at all. In fact, I would look at those amazing European demonstrators that make flawless background with watercolour and dream of the day I might swish my aqua painter and come up with this incredibly breathtaking background. Nope. It ain’t happening. So I have found a way that is super easy and cool proof for me. And I NEED foolproof. 😂🤣 I ended up making two cards in my video as I need to give time for the watercoloring to dry. Here is my video - Thanks so much for coming by today! I hope you enjoyed our video and cards.
