I've really been in a "let's use up retired schtuf" mode lately. Today is one those cards. I bought this pack of Designer Series Paper for this pattern alone. I just love it! I'd love to have these flowers in my garden!! It's from Painted Seasons, which was a Sale-A-Bration item in 2019. I adhered it to a base of retired Chocolate Chip card stock. In my stash I found an embossed panel that was already stamped. It's from the retired Love & Sympathy Stamp Set. The font is great so I'll never part with it. I punched it out with my retired 2 1/4" circle punch. The card stock is retired Crisp Canteloupe, which was a 2013 In Color. Now here is where the new comes in! I adhered the circle to a Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Paper. This paper is to die for! You need it peeps! Just click on the picture and you'll be taken right to my online store :-) Now we go back to a retired stamp set! The sentiment is from the Heartfelt Sympathy Stamp Set. It's stamped on Pistachio Pudding card stock, which was also a 2013 In Color. I used Shaded Spruce ink. I added a strip of DSP and more pieces from the Forever Gold. I had a die cut circle laying on my desk from the card I made yesterday. I dotted it with my white gel pen. Then I called it a day and it's already sold! I'm entering my card at Hand Stamped Sentiments #346. What a gorgeous inspirational photo! SUO #256 has a sketch challenge and I'm hoping they see how I've tweaked it and still recognizable using the Whale card. I have to share this neat card Chanda made for her Card Club swap. I love seeing their style and what my gals make. She stamped the images from the Circle Celebration stamp set (seen here) all over her 4" X 5 1/4" White CS. Then she stamped more and punched and fussy cut them out to add dimension to the card. I believe her colors are Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry and Real Red. Such a fun and happy card....

Hello there and Happy Sunday to you! I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far. It’s time for another weekly challenge over at The Paper Players and this week, our dear Jaydee has created an awesome sketch for us. Unfortunately, Jaydee is taking a little time off from the design team right now as she is recovering from an injury, so Joanne has stepped up to host this challenge. Feel better soon, Jaydee! Sketch challenges are my favorite! I just love having a great “starting point” for a card to get the creativity going. The best part is that you can take the layout and make it as simple or as detailed as you’d like. I decided to finally ink up the It Starts with Art Bundle for my card this week. This is such a fun little set that celebrates everything crafty. One of my favorite stamps in the set is this little trio of coloring tools. You can never have TOO many pens, pencils or markers, can you? Today’s Colors: Coastal Cabana Calypso Coral Crushed Curry Whisper White I stamped the image in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and colored it in with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I also added some shimmery Wink of Stella Glitter Brush detail to a couple of the markers along with some coordinating pearl accents. Did you know that you can color your rhinestones and pearls with your Stampin’ Blends Markers? Yup, it’s super easy and really gives those accents a lot of extra versatility in your crafty supply stash. To dress up my card a bit more, I added some accents from the Follow Your Art Embellishment Kit. This little box has all kinds of fabulous coordinating accents including: 4 sheets (1 sheet eat of 4 colors) of die-cut felt accents, 12 paper clips (6 Coastal Cabana, 6 Blushing Bride), 3 yards Pacific Point Linen Thread, 3 yards Calypso Coral Linen Thread, 6 silver charms and an adorable box to hold everything in the kit. Those stitched felt accents are so stinking cute and I just love the fun texture they add. Card Measurements: Coastal Cabana Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” Calypso Coral Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4” Follow Your Art DSP - 3-3/4” x 5” Scraps of Crushed Curry to die-cut with Arts & Crafts Dies Calypso Coral Cardstock - 1-7/8” x 5” Follow Your Art DSP - 1-3/4” x 5” Whisper White Cardstock (stamped and punched with Banner Triple Punch) - 3/8” x 2-7/8” Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4” Follow Your Art DSP (inside card) - 1-1/2” x 5-1/4” Finally, a look inside the card using a little more of the Follow Your Art DSP and a stamped and colored image. Popping in today to share another card made with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamps and coordinating Sunflower dies. This is one of my favorite bundles in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This is my second card for my upcoming card class. I did a little rock n roll with the dragonfly wings stamp. I stamped the wings in Pear Pizzazz and then rocked the edges in Bermuda Bay. I took a Bermuda Bay to fill in it need on the wings plus to color the body in, too. I cut the square with the Stitched Shapes dies and stamped the background stamp from Dragonfly Dreams. Aujourd'hui c'est jour de Blog hop! Et oui comme à chaque premier jeudi du mois, l'équipe du Blog hop des démonstratrices canadiennes francophones publient de super projets afin de vous inspirer!!! Ce mois-ci le thème est la couleur et l'été!!!! Qui dit été pour moi dit fleurs et couleurs vives. Voici donc la carte que j'ai confectionnée pour l'occasion. Je crois bien qu'elle respecte le thème!!! Qu'en pensez-vous? La palette des couleurs Stampin'Up! utilisées Murmure blanc, Narcisse délice, Mélodie de mangue, Flamant fougueux, Riche raisin Les 2 perforatrices Marguerites superposées permettent de créer une belle fleur tout en dimension et ce très facilement. Il suffit d'ajouter quelques volutes pour créer le feuillage et un coeur en feutrine au centre. On voit bien ici le dégradé de couleurs que j'ai fait pour mon fond de carte avec les éponges. J'ai ensuite ajouté un peu de textures en embossant le feuillage avec de la poudre blanche. J'ai aussi fait tomber quelques gouttes d'eau à l'aide de mon Aquapainter que j'ai épongé par la suite pour un effet wow! Somme toute, un fond de carte assez facile à faire et qui ajoute du punch!!! Merci d'être passé et j'espère que ma carte vous a donné le goût de vous procurer le jeu Allée des marguerites ainsi que les 2 perforatrices coordonnées! I've been having lots of fun over on YouTube doing what is called "lives". It's been really fun getting to know viewers from all around the world as they're able to comment and ask questions as I stamp. Here is a long video of a process that took about an hour, I ended up stamping 3 sheets and making 8 cards from them. During December we demonstrators get the privilege of ordering from the new Jun-Jul Mini Catalogue - this is one of my favourite perks! Another perk was if we attended OnStage@Home we could order EVEN EARLIER from a smaller selection of products so I quickly snapped up a whole bunch from the Dandy Garden Suite. This is a new mega-suite of products and, if you love the natural world as much as I do, you will LOVE it. So as a special end-of-week treat, here are not one but TEN projects using this fabulous Suite! Indulge me while I wax lyrical about this gorgeous Suite for a moment. There are TWO gorgeous stamp sets – one with a co-ordinating dragonfly punch and one with co-ordinating dies. There is an absolutely stunning pack of 6"x"6" Designer Series Paper packed with deep, rich colours, bold floral designs as well as delicate detailed monochrome sheets. There’s a pack of fine laser-cut paper, including detailed dragonflies, intricate seed heads and delicate leaves. There are tiny bronze-effect ladybirds. And remember that beautiful woven linen thread we had before? It's back - but in Mossy Meadow. I'm so excited about this suite that I'm sharing everything I've made with it so far. Some are adaptations of projects from the Stamp & Share section of OnStage@Home and others are actually completely from my own head (I know, right!). Take a look at what I’ve been making... These were some of the most fun to make as I got to use a new tool. We have some new blending brushes which are so pleasing to use and so effective – they give you a much smoother effect than blending with sponges. I stamped my main images in Mossy Meadow, coloured them with Stampin’ Blends, then blended ink with the new brushes around the edges of the cardstock. Inspired by Stampin' Up!® concept artist Melody Hyde, I then stamped around the images with a greeting stamp, repeatedly and by stamping off onto scrap paper first. I really liked this effect when Melody demonstrated it at OnStage@Home. I LOVE these dies, they are JUST what I've been craving. And don't they go perfectly with the Dandelions Embossing Folder which I've had for months but – gasp! –hadn’t used until I made this card. This Suite is perfect for the monochrome look. There are several sheets of DSP which are monochrome;in Misty Moonlight (as shown here), Blackberry Bliss (yum!), Bumblebee and Calypso Coral. Shall I tell you a secret about this card? It was supposed to have a folding back front, but I used the cutting blade instead of the scorer! Oops. A splash of Bumble Bee goes so well with Misty Moonlight – this is one of our OnStage@Home Stamp and Share projects which we made during the event. This last card was a Northern Lights background which hadn’t gone quite to plan. It wasn’t working for the Christmas card I had planned but I think it looks great behind this Dandy Laser-Cut Paper and combined with some much-maligned Purple Posy.
