I created a special wedding card, including a pop-up, for the Control Freaks Blog Hop featuring out of the box designs.
Hello stampers! If you grew up in the eighties like me, chances are that you know Lady in Red by Chris de Burgh. I really do love this song and I also love the colour red. No surprise then that I chose to highlight the colour red in my creations using the Parisian Blossoms suite. Cherry cobbler to be specific, but Lady in Cherry Cobbler doesn't sound quite as catchy, more like a gluttonous mini person caught in a dessert pan! Some More Cards I do love this card so much with it's luscious red flowers. Combining

Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. WAIT!! YOU could already HAVE this stamp set if you were a demonstrator! Why not JOIN MY TEAM?? Send me an email if interested at [email protected] Happy Stampin'! Hello and Happy Hump Day! I'm back with another Design Team card for The Paper Craft Crew Sketch Challenge #PCC368! Today's sketch was a fun chance to use the beautiful Sale-a-Bration Freebies.... Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper, and the Lily Pad Dies! I absolutely adore this gorgeous Lily Impressions DSP! It has the most gorgeous images and colors! I used Pretty Peacock as my cardbase color and Flirty Flamingo to matt my layers of DSP. Both sides of the same sheet of paper were used in this card. Side A was used for the background panel and side B for the stitched square panel. The Lovely Lily Pad stamps were stamped with Versamark onto Thick Whisper White Cardstock and heat embossed in White. I used an ink blending tool to blend the Flirty Flamingo and Garden Green Ink onto the stamped images and used the coordinating dies to cut the images out. I added a little darker pink Stampin' Blend marker to some of the ink blended areas to add a little contrast. This card is so pretty and was really easy to create! Thanks so much for stopping by! Blessings, Tina
