Hi Wee fans, As promised I've selected some more pretty cards that were posted by Wee Stamps' customers on the Wee Stamps Facebook page. Hope you like these cuties that I picked for you today! *** I had to share this gorgeous card that our former Guest Designer Frouwkje van Keeken created for a little girl named Noor. Frouwkje used Wee Stamps' Birthday Baby Girl who is of course absolutely perfect for this occasion. You may notice that this digi is a little different from the version that's for sale as a digi and a rubber stamp, that's because this version of the digi was a freebie a while back when the Copic Marker Europe blog existed one year. For more details on this fabulous creation please visit Frouwkje's blog HERE. *** *** Mickaela Vildjung created this gorgeous dreamy card with Wee Stamps Dreamy Dragon (available as a digi and a rubber stamp). Isn't the background with the clouds gorgeous and we love the pretty flowers that perfectly match the flowers in the image. For more details on this gorgeous card please visit Mickaela's blog HERE. *** *** This adorable creation has been made by my friend Ria van Son a.k.a. Zonnestraaltje. Ria worked her (dragon)magic on our freebie, Little Kitty Lady (you can still find this freebie HERE). I love the purple and green combination and the soft background with the clouds. For more details about this cutie please visit Ria's blogpost HERE. *** *** This pretty fairy is called Silver Fairy as you may know by now but Norma Lee turned her into a gorgeous warm Golden Fairy. Fabulous flowers and perfect design paper to go with the coloring make for a feast for the eyes. For more details about this beauty please visit Norma's blog HERE. Oh and the Silver Fairy is for sale as a digi, a rubber stamp and a card topper. *** Thank you very much for letting me share your talent here ladies! Hugs,
Whimsy Stamps Release Day Hop Hi and welcome to Day 3 of the Whimsy Stamps release hop :) Today I have a card I made with a beautiful Sylvia Zet image called Emily. Isn't she so sweet and pretty! I just loved colouring her :) I have also used one of the new sentiments by Simonne Clay. It's from a set called Everyday Moments and it's a wonderful set that you could use for any occasion. I'm sure I'll use it over and over again. I cut it out using the contest ribbon die, some of the sentiments are just the right size for it :) And I also used the corner dies set. All the new release stamps are now available to buy now in the Whimsy Stamps store! So after you've done the hop and are all inspired to create something beautiful, make sure you head over there. There are FOUR prizes of 2 new release rubber stamps on the DT’s blogs throughout the 5-day release event. You have until the end of the release week to leave comments on ALL the DT’s blogs each day. The lucky winners will be drawn over the weekend and announced on the Whimsy blog on Monday (January 27th). Please visit these Design Team members blogs to see some wonderful creations and remember to leave a comment for your chance to win :) Kathy Iris Wiechmann Shelby Thomas Louise Roache Kathy Tanner Simonne Clay Shannah Bartle Ellie Stover Sandy Allnock

Hello Wee Stamps fans! A while back Sylvia informed you that "yours truly" was going to be the Design Team Coordinator for Wee Stamps. Since that time we have spend a lot of time figuring out what would be a good Design Team for Wee Stamps. Together we came up with a ton of names of people who's work we admire but we also decided that we wanted to give the Wee Stamps fans who maybe aren't as "known" a chance to put their work in the spotlight. In the end we decided that the only way to ask all these people we admire and at the same time give everybody a chance to shine was to start out with a monthly changing team of Guest Designers. If you want to be one of our future Guest Designers be sure to read on. With a whole lot of pride we first want to introduce you to our first fabulous team of Guest Designers though: *** Gretha Bakker I'm Gretha Bakker and I'm 48 years old. I'm married and have a wonderful son who is 22 years old. I live in the Netherlands. My passion is painting and coloring digital images or stamps with distress inks and twinkling H2O, I really love to do this almost every day when I can. Besides this passion I have some other sportive things I love to do, like long distance hiking of 40 or 50 km a day, I like to run for my condition and once a week I play badminton. I'm designing for several teams in the UK and one in the Netherlands. I give workshops to people who want to learn to color with distress inks. I' m delighted that I've been asked to be a guest designer for Wee Stamps. These stamps are so cute and are fantastic to color. I hope I can give you enough inspiration with the cards I make. Please visit my blog to take a look at them. Hugs Gretha xxx This is one of the gorgeous creations by Gretha with Wee Stamps' Holly: *** *** Vili Mitkovska My name is Velina but in Bulgaria, from where I am, everybody calls me Vili. I am married and I have two wonderful daughters. I have always had some kind of hobby connected to art and creation. I had been painting for many years when I started sewing. After that I started working with digital scrapbooking, photography, etc. I found the world of card making more than a year ago and this new hobby devoured me in way that it now takes almost my hole free time. It brings me much happiness and a lot of pleasure. This is one of the gorgeous creations by Vili with Wee Stamps' Silver Fairy: *** *** Elaine Livesey I'm a 48 year old wife to my lovely husband, Mum to our 18 year old son, and stepmother to 3 grown-up children. I had a career change 6 years ago and I now work full time in the office of an Air Conditioning company, after spending most of my working life in health care as a Pharmacy Technician. I used to do cross stitch but with the arrival of a baby I found I really hadn't got enough spare time to ever complete a project so I turned to card making but it only became a serious hobby when I discovered stamping. I love cute and girly stamps the most, especially fairies, and I am a serious paper hoarder. My motto: "A girl can never have too many stamps or too much paper" This is one of the gorgeous creations by Elaine with Wee Stamps' Sweet Blossom: *** *** Annie Johnson I grew up in a village where being self sufficient was a way of life, so gardening, cooking, sewing and knitting were things I learnt and enjoyed from an early age. I have always loved 'colouring in' and would look forward to Christmas when there would always be a new box of colouring pencils in my stocking. As an adult I took up counted cross stitch as a way to relax but a neck injury that caused me to take early retirement also meant I couldn't spend long bent over my stitching. Whilst sitting at home feeling sorry for myself, I discovered rubber stamping on a tv shopping channel and shortly afterwards was asked to demonstrate stamping at my local craft shop. Then I discovered the craft world on the internet, started my blog, made lots of lovely friends in forums and even got to meet up with some at craft fairs. Originally I was colouring my stamped images with water colours, either pencils or die based ink pads, then I tried the pencils and blending with Sansador technique before a friend introduced me to alcohol markers. When I discovered Copics I was hooked - a lovely soft brush and wonderful colours that blend beautifully together. I am still learning and watch tutorials and techniques and browse the experts blogs for hints and tips. Through the internet I discovered various artists creating digital images for crafters and whilst working as a designer for Cuddly Buddly, I was introduced to Sylvia's Wee designs, it was love at first sight you could say. I like the style and attention to detail Sylvia brings to her characters as I like to have a bit of a challenge when colouring in, and her newer Wee girls have the most marvelous flowing hair that is a joy to try and bring to life. I was asked which was my favourite Wee card that I had created and chose the beautiful Hopeful - I love her hair! This is one of the gorgeous creations by Annie with Wee Stamps' Hopeful: *** If you want to see more gorgeous creations by these ladies please click on their names above their pictures and you will be redirected to their personal blogs. Hi everybody! Yesterday we introduced our Guest Designer team for April but we still owe you an introduction of our Whimsy Guest Designer for April. With great pleasure I'd like to introduce you to the incredibly talented (and very kind) Simonne Clay: Hi everyone! My name is Simonne, but I’m more commonly known as Sem or Semsee in the blogging and online crafting world. Crafting and stamping crept into my life in January 2009 and I’ve been well and truly hooked ever since! I use Copics to colour (completely self-taught) and admit to possibly having a teeny, tiny addiction to patterned paper, hehe! HI EVERYONE.. nice to see the warm waether back although i much prefer the rain ;) hehe, i have for you today one cute image from Sylvi...
Hello again!!! First you don’t hear anything from me for years and then I keep posting one project after another 😜. But I got these stamps a few days ago from Cloud 9 Crafts and I had to ink them up right away. They are from My Favorite Things (https://www.cloud9crafts.nl/collections/my-favorite-things/products/my-favorite-things-magical-friends-clear-stamps), a brand I have adored for a long time, ever since Inge Groot joined their team actually, but always found to expensive to import myself. I was so happy to find them now in a Dutch Craftstore and the lady behind Cloud 9 Crafts is super quick in shipping.... my second order has already been placed 😳😖. Anyway, my crafting fiend Krista Huysman has never made it a secret that she’d love to own one of my projects 😘. So I decided to make this project for her gorgeous little lady Annalynn. I bought this piggy bank years ago to pimp but never used it. I was a little to late in taking a picture of my little pieces 😖. And finally the back. The Copic markers I used are: Greens: YG97, G94, YG63, YG23, YG13, YG11, YG03, YG01, YG0000 Pinks: R89, R85, R83, R81, RV000 Skin: E21, E00, E000, E0000 Hair: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50 Cups: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20 I hope you, and especially Krista, like this project. Hugs, Mariska

Hello everybody! First I want to thank you all for your sweet comments both here and on my Facebook page, I loved reading them all and it's so good to be crafting again. I'm back with another project, I decided to do a card for a change LOL. When I first saw Daphne, one of the latest images released by Wee Stamps I knew I wanted to color her with lots of colors because she reminded me of spring. I colored her with Basic Grey Picadilly papers as inspiration but then when it came to putting together the card I had a hard time because this bright and colorful really isn't in my comfort zone. So for me this card is finished... but it needs some getting used to. A close up of adorable Daphne as always colored with my Copic Markers and completely 3D paper pieced for extra dimension. And a picture of the little pieces I used. The Copic colors that I've used are: Skin: E11, E00, E000, E0000 Hair: YR23, E44, E42, E40 Main color dress: E40, W0, W00, CB Blue: B93, B91, B0000 Yellow: Y17, Y15, Y13, Y11 Orange: YR09, YR07, YR04 Pink: RV55, RV52, RV0000 Green: YG17, YG13, YG11 I'll leave you with a list of the materials that I used: Image: Daphne by Wee Stamps, available as a digi stamp (Wee Stamps) or a rubber stamp (Whimsy Stamps) Sentiment: Birthday Letter Seals (Whimsy Stamps) Design Paper: Basic Grey Picadilly 6x6 paper pad (older collection) Dies: Double Scallop Doily Die (Whimsy Stamps), Spellbinders Foliage Other: Frantage, stickles, Corners and Butterflies by Dutch Doobadoo, Round 15mm sparkly button from The Ribbon Girl and rhinestones and seam binding from stash Flowers are all by Wild Orchid Crafts, I've used: Pink Trellis Roses 35mm Pink Cosmos Daisy Yellow Cherry Blossom Golden Yellow Open Roses 15mm Orange Open Roses 15mm Orange Open Roses 25mm Pink Carnation (the pink ones aren't in the store right now) Hope you like, have a colorful day everybody! Hi everybody, Today I want to show you a card created by our lovely April Guest Designer Dena Concienne, both Sylvia and I are great fans of her work and we are thrilled to show you this beauty Dena created using Wee Stamps' Ruby (Ruby is available as a digital image HERE, as a rubber stamp HERE and as part of a set of card toppers HERE): Isn't that just stunning, the coloring, the papers, the layout? For more details about this beauty I'd like to send you to Dena's blog HERE. Thank you so much for letting us share this card here Dena! Hugs,
Hi everybody, I waited to long with posting a new splash of inspiration which meant it was almost impossible to select just a few cards, their is so much gorgeous inspiration shared with us on the Wee Stamps Facebook page and each and every card is unique and has its own style. Thank you everybody for sharing with us and if your card isn't on the blog today it may be in the next Splash of Inspiration post, I do try to share work by different people each time but can't help but also show you some cards by people who have been featured here before. Here goes!!! *** Linda Levoir posted this card a while back but I still have to share it with you guys. Linda has used Wee Stamps' Summer Fairy (available as a digi and as a rubber stamp) and I absolutely ADORE how she colored her. The papers are gorgeous as are the flowers and have you seen that she used stitching in different colors. What a fabulous creation Linda, thank you so much for sharing it with us! More gorgeous work by Linda can be found on her blog HERE. *** This pretty card has been created by Diane Scotland. Diane used Wee Stamps' Emily (available as a digi, a rubber stamp and a topper) and colored her with lovely blond hair and a gorgeous purple dress. The design of the card is a perfect frame for this pretty image and the embellishments are just the perfect finishing touch. Thank you so much for sharing this beauty with us Diane! Diane doesn't have a blog but shares her work on her Facebook page HERE. *** The incredible Gretha Bakker has been featured on this blog before but I'm sure you'll agree that this card using Wee Stamps' Mary (available as a digi and a rubber stamp) needs to be shared. Have you noticed that Gretha only used colors in the flowers that she used and the coloring of the image, the rest of the card is very neutral. As always absolutely stunning Gretha! More info about this beauty and more amazing cards can be found on Gretha's blog HERE. *** Marianne Fisher used one of the card-toppers to create this lovely Christmas card. Wee Stamps' Holly is of course also available as a digi and as a rubber stamp but if you like me always have a shortage of home made Christmas cards when the season arrives these toppers can help you to create yourself a bunch of Christmas cards in no time at all. And if you, like Marianne add some glitter and some liquid pearls and some pretty embellishments like the lovely little bell that Marianne used you'll still bring a huge smile to the receivers face. Thank you for sharing with us Marianne! More of Marianne's gorgeous work can be found HERE. *** Kim Bell posted this gorgeous card using Wee Stamps' Maya (available as a digi and a rubber stamp) on our Facebook page. Don't you think Maya looks stunning in the purple/mauve colors Kim gave her? The design of the card is just the perfect frame to make the image shine and I absolutely love the flower cluster Kim used. Thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous cards with us Kim. For more gorgeous creations by Kim please visit her blog HERE. *** Lou Daubney surprised us with this gorgeous soft card created with Wee Stamps' Posey (available as a digi and a rubber stamp). I absolutely adore the way Lou colored little Posey, so soft and beautiful and her card design is simple but is the perfect frame for such a gorgeously colored image. Thank you for sharing this cutie with us Lou! For more gorgeous work by Lou please visit her blog HERE. *** When I first saw this card created by the talented Mary Johnson I got this huge smile on my face. Mary used Wee Stamps' Oak Tree Boy (available as a digi and a rubber stamp) and created this cute adorable card with it. I absolutely adore the design, the funny clouds cut out of design paper and the unique way Mary colored this image. More fabulous card by Mary can be found on her blog HERE. Thank you so much for sharing with us Mary, love it! *** The bright colors that Roda Langan used for this gorgeous baby card may not be what you would expect but aren't they absolutely vibrant and gorgeous? Roda colored our little Wee One (who is available as a digi, a rubber stamp and a girly card topper and a boyish card topper) to match the papers and those gorgeous flowers perfectly and don't you love his rosy cheeks and nose? Thank you for sharing your cheerfull card with us Roda! For more of Roda's gorgeous colorful work please visit her blog HERE (there is also a card with Wee Stamps' Maya that will brighten your day). *** And last but certainly not least I'd like to share this romantic card by Christine Levison with you. Christine used Wee Stamps' Ruby (available as a digi, a rubber stamp and a card topper) and colored her absolutely gorgeously with splashes of sparkles here and there. Hi Wee fans! It's time to show you our first new creation from our September Design Team. I would love to start with a gorgeous card that talented Pia Puma created for us using Wee Stamps' Hopeful (available as a digital image, a rubber stamp and as a card topper). Isn't that just gorgeous work! Beautifully shaped card matching the die used and wonderful colouring of the digi! Now I must admit I absolutely love the way Pia coloured Hopeful's face. I have seen this technique before when Pia shared a card with Flower Fairy on Wee Stamp's FB wall and I really loved how she made the little girl so chubby and cute by adding darker shade between her eyes. And now she did the same great work with the full-cheeked Hopeful and used her for that absolutely beautiful inspiration card today. For some more close-up photos of that handmade beauty please visit Pia's blog HERE. Thanks for stopping by everyone, Sylvia
Hi Everyone, It is Wee Stamps May release! And I know many of you have been waiting for this new furry set for quite a while now. I work on my pretty long request list from you and those little pups had to be added on it very shortly after Playful Kittens release, as there are so many of us who loves dogs just as much or even more than kittens. So here they are finally: Naughty Puppies! I hope you like them. And here we go with some gorgeous puppies' inspiration from our May Guest Designers! These cards are really beautiful and detailed so please remember that if you like to learn more about any of them just click on the designer's name below. Anke Soeters Elise Dinolfo Jacqui Bourne Louise Fraenell Thanks so much my ladies for these beauties! ♥ And now the lucky winners of the new release. And the random.org told me that they are: 1. Anja 2. Nicole 3. Denise Goeldner That were random names but I would also like to give an extra 4th set to 4. Farika Pramastij as she was the first person who guessed so well what the image presents and even used the name already chosen for the set: "can't wait to see the full image! i guess it's a naughty dog playing paint bucket :)" And a 5th one to 5. Cathy (Mercieschild) for her white Maltese with fushia pink story: " I know this set is a awesome. I had a white Maltese that did what this imageis doing? Fushia pink on a white Maltese doggy. Then he looked at me with those big eyes as if to say, is there something wrong ? I love this set already. Brings back memories of my Caleb who is in heaven now." I loved all your comments and especially those two were so fun to read! And it is also a good excuse to give away some extra smile too. Congratulations ladies!! Please email me at weestamps at gmail dot com so I could send your prize. Thank you so much for all the sweet comments everyone, your response for this tiny sneak peek was amazing!! New Naughty Puppies set is available as digital stamps here and will be also available later today or tomorrow as a rubber set at Whimsy Stamps here and from it's retailers. Thanks so much for joining us today! Sylvia
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for all your comments about yesterday's sneak peek, so many of you were right - our first stamp of June's release is a BABY and it is called Wee One! I am sorry you had to wait for so long for this. I hope you like it (at least I already know you like the horsey :). I tried to design a stamp that would be versatile enough to use for both a girl and boy baby card. And my lovely ladies did wonderful work showing that both versions look great indeed! Just have a look at Mariska, Raffaela and Jacque's beautiful cards and adorable gift ideas. Mariska van der Veer Raffaela Perego Jacque Beddingfield Aren't these gorgeous! And the second one of today's release is a Sweet Sparkle fairy. Again Wee Designers did wonderful work with her. I so love the fact that each of ladies had such a different idea for a colours combo for this stamp and all cards are so different from each other and so beautiful in each own way. Here they are - cards by Wenche, Maya, Eileen and Sue! Wenche Wold Maya Stenshagen Eileen Taylor Sue Hughes Please remember that you can always find out more about your favorite card by pressing on the name of its designer. I also have a freebie for all of you today. It is a little butterfly that is meant to go with the Sweet Sparkle stamp. Do you recognize it from the gorgeous card made by Sue? Love the way she used it. This butterfly is the same as the one sitting on the fairy's lantern but please feel free to download it and use it with any other stamp you like. And there is even more good news. We still have some lucky winners of these new stamps waiting to be announced! I used random.org and here is what it told me: 1. Alexandra 2. Yvi 3. Maryann Laursen 4. Rachael Congratulations ladies!! Please email me at [email protected] so I can send you your prize. As usual this new release is available as digital stamps at Wee Stamps here and as rubber stamps at Whimsy Stamps here. Thanks so much for being with us today and please come back tomorrow as there will be some more cards with this new release and they are REALLY gorgeous as well. Big hug for each of you, Sylvia
