Hi Friends! The second I saw the Seas The Day bundle in the new Jan-Jun Mini Catalogue I knew I had to have it. I just love everything about it. The stamp set has cute images, the die set has a die that is so different from anything we have had in a while. I created this card using the bundle above, and the Layering Diorama Dies, during my live stamping demonstration in my facebook VIP Group on March 3rd. Click the Link In Pink below to join my VIP Group today! If you would like to see how I created it, please watch the video below. Today is about making simple SHAKER CARDS that sparkle! The star of today's show is the Seas the Day Bundle! I have a list of the products used below. Several items are retiring so once they are gone, they are gone. (While supplies last for retiring items). Don't miss out! Seas the Day Bundle Shaker Cards Ombre Specialty Paper in Blue with Misty Moonlight Card Base Ombre Specialty Paper in Orange with Misty Moonlight Cardstock Ombre Specialty Paper in Purple with Misty Moonlight Cardstock All of the Different Ombre Frames with the Sea Dies CARD MEASUREMENTS Score 8-1/2 x 11 sheet of cardstock at 5-1/2" and Cut at 4-1/4" You will have two card bases with one sheet of cardstock. (I used Misty Moonlight for all card bases) NOTE: Misty Moonlight Cardstock is retiring! Retiring items are while supplies last. Get them before they are gone! Your Sea Frame Layer will be 4 x 5-1/4" - All frames were cut with Specialty Ombre Paper Window Sheet - Same size as the Frame Layer - 4 x 5-1/4" (This is only needed if you plan to make a shaker cards) You will need enough foam adhesive strips for a 4 x 5-1/4" size layer. If you are making multiple shaker cards like I am then I recommend having a full pack. You want to make sure your sequins do not escape the shaker so having the right foam strip frame is really important! Get your card layout the way you want it. I recommend stamping and die cutting multiple of the sea creatures so you have a variety of options for your ocean scene, especially if you are making multiple cards like I am. I have to have coordinating colors so I tend to stamp in those coordinating shades. You can do whatever is best for you. If you only have a few colors, that's ok! If you have a variety of shades, have fun with them! The Gorgeous Grape Octopus went with the purple frame. The Mango Melody (orange) fish went with the orange frame and the Pacific Point fish went with the blue frame. You will follow the steps for your shaker according to the video tutorial: -Adhere your window sheet to your frame layer with Tear and Tape Adhesive -Build a rectangle (completely closed at each corner) with Foam Adhesive Sheets. This will become the barrier frame that keeps your sequins in the shaker card -Place your sequins (a few pinches) of sequins in the center of the card so the area where your foam adhesive strips go are clear -Remove backing and place the frame down. Press down so the shaker is secure and then shake those sequins! Add your sentiment. You can add it as one piece to the side. If you want to add a fun visual element cut the sentiment into pieces so each word is on its own and glue them down with glue dots along the side of the card. Finish your card with a crab or star fish along with the die cut seaweed. Add with glue dots or adhesive of choice.

Seas the Day retired yesterday but I still love this set! I couldn't put it away yet. I started with Pool Party for the card base. I masked the strip in the middle of the Basic White piece with post it notes and then stamped the seaweed with Bermuda Bay. I stamped the seaweed more than once before re-inking. I then used a blending brush with Pool Party. To create the faux water look on this card, I embossed a piece of window sheet with the Bark embossing folder (also retired now) and added it behind the top layer that has been die cut. There is a layer behind that has blended colors and the jellyfish on it. You could use the Cascading Ribbons, Painted Texture, Stripes & Splatters, or Timeworn embossing folders for the water look. HERE is the Facebook Live video that I made creating this card. HERE is another Facebook Live video for this next card too. This one used the masking technique. What I did was stamp the octopus on copy paper and then fussy cut it. You could use the dies but they don't get as close. I cut right on the stamped edge. I stamped the octopus on the cardstock and then laid the copy paper octopus on top of it. I then stamped the seaweed around it and removed the copy paper octopus to reveal octopus in the front of the seaweed. I was pretty disappointed that this set didn't make it longer with Stampin' Up! I'm very happy I own it so that I can use it whenever I feel like it! My online store has all these goodies and so much more. You can get to my online store by clicking on the pictures below. Inspiration can come from the strangest things. I had this scrap piece of cardstock from which I had die cut an oval. In true crafter fashion I said ‘I won’t throw this. One day I’ll create something with it’. Do you do this as well? Today’s card is the result of me saving all those spare […]

Hello and welcome, Today I'll be sharing with you my latest project for Stampin' Up! as part of the Artisan Design Team my group was asked to create projects using the Seas the Day Bundle. This bundle is in the Mini Jan - June 2022 Catalogue and is on page 38, which includes the Seas the Day Stamp Set and Sea Dies. This bundle was so much fun to use, I love the under the sea creates in the stamp set especially the octopus. The stamp images have a watercolour look and the Sea Dies die-cut out the fish, jellyfish, starfish, crab and the octopus. There are also under the sea intricate die-cut pieces, plus a large peekaboo die which fits perfectly on a card front. Seas The Day Bundle # 157858 Slimline Under the Sea Card My first project is a slimline card which has become a favourite of mine lately, I've used the seaweed image stamping it a number of times on the panel of Basic White Cardstock. I've used the following colours Bermuda Bay being the darkest colour, then I also added Coastal Cabana and Pool Party Inks. I would also keep on stamping on the panel to get more variation of the colour and depth. Giving the card more dimension I used Stampin' Dimensionals under the Calypso Coral octopus and crab, Pale Papaya starfish and Bermuda Bay for the fish. I've used the seaweed die and die-cut out a number of times in Basic White Cardstock and lightly coloured in with the Blending Brush. and Coastal Cabana Ink. The coral is from the larger die, I've just snipped it off and added Bermuda Bay Ink with the Blending Brush. To finish off the card I've stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay onto Basic White Cardstock, added a white Baker's Twine bow and Coastal Cabana Artistry Blooms Sequins. Octopus Ocean Floor Dimensional card Going with the same colour scheme for my second card this time I went for an ombre look using Calypso Coral and Pale Papaya for the background Shimmery White Cardstock panel. I used the Foam Adhesive Strips in between the two layers for more depth. The Bermuda Bay Octopus is layered onto the Calypso Coral panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. The next ombre layer is a combination of Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party Inks onto a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock with the Blending Brush and then die-cut out with the large die from the Sea Dies. To create the ocean floor by using Shimmery White Embossing Paste with Bermuda Bay Ink then apply to the panel with the Palette Knife and add sequins while still wet. I used the Sparkle and Shine Sequins which is in the Mini Jan- June 2022 Catalogue, they are perfect for an under the sea scene. I like to add interest and contrast with the colours by balancing them out and overlapping the stamped images and detailed die-cut pieces using the different tones of blue/greens against the oranges. To finish off the card I added the sentiment using Versamark Ink onto Bermuda Bay Cardstock, adding White Stampin Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. The Artistry Blooms Sequins are in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral. Jellyfish Gift Tag Using monochromatic tones of Bermuda Bay, I started off with the die-cut piece using the largest die from the Tailor Made Tag Dies in Bermuda Bay Cardstock. I stamped the seaweed stamp image onto the gift tag and layered by adding detailed dies and the stamped image of the jellyfish. The sentiment is fussy cut out using the Paper Snips Scissors and I added a few of the Artistry Blooms Sequins and White Baker's Twine to the gift tag. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. Make sure you pop over onto Stampin' Up! Facebook page for lots of inspiration using this bundle. If you would like a copy of the Stampin' Up! First time with the Lilypad Lake Bundle Highlighting another bundle from the Annual Catalog, the Lilypad Lake Bundle. I will admit, the bundle is on page 133 and I skipped right over it! I happened to be over my Upline's home and she mentioned how much she loved it and encouraged me to create something with it. Taking her advice, my first time with the Lilypad Lake Bundle is the card of the day! Anything Nautical, I love! I was immediately drawn to the sailboats in the stamp set. I love anything nautical and soon as I saw

Laat het me weten!!
