Hello and welcome, Today I'll be sharing with you my latest project for Stampin' Up! as part of the Artisan Design Team my group was asked to create projects using the Seas the Day Bundle. This bundle is in the Mini Jan - June 2022 Catalogue and is on page 38, which includes the Seas the Day Stamp Set and Sea Dies. This bundle was so much fun to use, I love the under the sea creates in the stamp set especially the octopus. The stamp images have a watercolour look and the Sea Dies die-cut out the fish, jellyfish, starfish, crab and the octopus. There are also under the sea intricate die-cut pieces, plus a large peekaboo die which fits perfectly on a card front. Seas The Day Bundle # 157858 Slimline Under the Sea Card My first project is a slimline card which has become a favourite of mine lately, I've used the seaweed image stamping it a number of times on the panel of Basic White Cardstock. I've used the following colours Bermuda Bay being the darkest colour, then I also added Coastal Cabana and Pool Party Inks. I would also keep on stamping on the panel to get more variation of the colour and depth. Giving the card more dimension I used Stampin' Dimensionals under the Calypso Coral octopus and crab, Pale Papaya starfish and Bermuda Bay for the fish. I've used the seaweed die and die-cut out a number of times in Basic White Cardstock and lightly coloured in with the Blending Brush. and Coastal Cabana Ink. The coral is from the larger die, I've just snipped it off and added Bermuda Bay Ink with the Blending Brush. To finish off the card I've stamped the sentiment in Bermuda Bay onto Basic White Cardstock, added a white Baker's Twine bow and Coastal Cabana Artistry Blooms Sequins. Octopus Ocean Floor Dimensional card Going with the same colour scheme for my second card this time I went for an ombre look using Calypso Coral and Pale Papaya for the background Shimmery White Cardstock panel. I used the Foam Adhesive Strips in between the two layers for more depth. The Bermuda Bay Octopus is layered onto the Calypso Coral panel with Stampin' Dimensionals. The next ombre layer is a combination of Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pool Party Inks onto a panel of Shimmery White Cardstock with the Blending Brush and then die-cut out with the large die from the Sea Dies. To create the ocean floor by using Shimmery White Embossing Paste with Bermuda Bay Ink then apply to the panel with the Palette Knife and add sequins while still wet. I used the Sparkle and Shine Sequins which is in the Mini Jan- June 2022 Catalogue, they are perfect for an under the sea scene. I like to add interest and contrast with the colours by balancing them out and overlapping the stamped images and detailed die-cut pieces using the different tones of blue/greens against the oranges. To finish off the card I added the sentiment using Versamark Ink onto Bermuda Bay Cardstock, adding White Stampin Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. The Artistry Blooms Sequins are in Coastal Cabana and Calypso Coral. Jellyfish Gift Tag Using monochromatic tones of Bermuda Bay, I started off with the die-cut piece using the largest die from the Tailor Made Tag Dies in Bermuda Bay Cardstock. I stamped the seaweed stamp image onto the gift tag and layered by adding detailed dies and the stamped image of the jellyfish. The sentiment is fussy cut out using the Paper Snips Scissors and I added a few of the Artistry Blooms Sequins and White Baker's Twine to the gift tag. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love hear your thoughts on my project by leaving a comment below. Make sure you pop over onto Stampin' Up! Hi Friends! Oh the Seas The Day bundle is so fun to use! We created with it during our Friday Night Collaboration in my facebook VIP Group last week. We used this card as inspiration: I wanted to see what the Viewers would do differently on this card that I created. And this is the card we came up with. During the collaboration we vote on the different steps for the card, such as colour, layout, stamps, embellishments, etc. Then my hands do the work. But everyone on the zoom and watching the live stream gets a say in the card. It's so fun to see what transpires, and it is never what I want. lol It's all about taking me out of my comfort zone and letting all the ladies have a say. Why not join us next time? I am away for the next 2 Fridays, but join us on Friday, March 18th at 8:00 pm (PT). Just click the Link in Pink below and join my group. Then you are all ready to chime in on the creation of the next card. If you would like to see how we created the card, please watch the video below. If you enjoy the video, please consider subscribing to my YouTube Channel so you don't miss any of my videos, tutorials and Live Stamping. Hi everyone, I was asked to make a card with mermaids. These cute mermaids are long retired but thought they were perfect when using with the current Seas Dies (#157857). The mermaids are from the (retired) Magical Day stamp set. I stamped them using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Basic White card (#159228). They were coloured with Stampin’ Blends - Polished Pink (#155520), Highland Heather (#154887), Daffodil Delight (#154883) were used for the bodies. I used SU1000 (#158465) for the face and arms, and SU600 (#159462) & SU700 (#159463) for the hair. These colours with the numbers are a variety of “skin tone” colours and range from light to dark. The co-ordinating (retired) Magical Mates Dies were used to cut the mermaids. I adhered Adhesive sheet (#152334) onto the blue/green Supple Shimmer Specialty Paper (#158068) before cutting this with a Seas die (#157857). I dry embossed the beautiful Mother Of Pearl Specialty Paper (#157666) with the (retired) Seabed Embossing Folder. I attached the Supple Shimmer paper to the Mother Of Pearl card. I daubered the edges with Coastal Cabana ink (#147097) then attached this to the Basic White base card. I stamped the sentiment from the (retired) Friendly Hello stamp set and cut it with a Pretty Pillowbox Die (#156321). The sentiment and mauve mermaid were attached with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108) and the other 2 mermaids with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). “Love what you do and share what you love.” lesleyjendra.stampinup.net [email protected]

Sunny days by the sea are fond memories I have of my childhood, so when I saw the Stamp Set, High Tide appear in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, I knew I had to buy it. I couldn't grow up by the Sea in Brighton and not own this Stamp Set. The Two Step Stamping helps to create this fabulous lighthouse and the Seaside Embossing Folder, adds a great textural matting layer to the background. The sky may not be coloured, but I still love the simplicity of this card and the detail. Now to book up a visit to the seaside for a Fish and Chip lunch on the beach ... which was how my husband and I spent our first date together, 8 years ago next week ... ahhh the memories. New Items have been added to the Sale-a-Bration offering. Be sure to check it out.

Good Saturday morning, peeps! I have a fun fold for you today. This is another card we made during our Quarterly Meeting and my teammate, Karen Ksenzakovic, (TOK) was the demonstrator. She did an excellent job of presenting! I started by adhering the 4 smaller panels of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the 4 smaller Basic White mats. I then adhered them to the 4 small panels on the card base using liquid glue. I adhered the longer panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP to the longer Basic White mat and then to the panel of Pacific Point cardstock and set it aside. On the 2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Basic White cardstock I stamped the pelican image from the Stampin’ Up! Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image using my Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends Markers. I cut the image out using my Waves Dies. From the same panel of Basic White cardstock, I cut the 2 cloud images and the detailed cloud images using my Waves Dies. I adhered the detailed cloud die to the bottom of each of the clouds after I had sponged them with Balmy Blue ink. I cut 6 birds from the Basic Black cardstock using the Waves Dies. Next I cut the panel of Blue Foil Specialty Paper using my Waves Dies. I adhered the wave to the 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″ panel of Waves of The Ocean DSP. I cut around the wave using my Paper Snips leaving about 1/8″ around the wave. I adhered the wave to the long-layered panel of DSP using Stampin’ Dimensionals only on the bottom. I stamped the sentiment from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink on the Basic White panel. I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink on the bottom of the panel. I adhered the cut pelican image to the bottom of the panel using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered the cloud to the top of the panel using Dimensionals. I adhered 3 of the die cut birds around the sentiment using a tiny amount of liquid glue. To adhere the bridge, I used 2 pieces of Tear & Tape on both ends of the bridge. I adhered the left side first, then I folded the card flat and adhered the right side lining it up with the edges. On the back panel of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the wave image from the Waves of Inspiration stamp set in Pacific Point Ink, stamping it off 3 times. I stamped the sentiment with the same stamp set in Pacific Point ink. I adhered the other cloud to the top of the panel using liquid glue. I adhered the 3 birds using a tiny amount of liquid glue. I adhered the Basic White panel to the back of the card base. Then I adhered three Rhinestone Waves Basic Jewels. I adhered a panel of the Waves of The Ocean DSP to the envelope flap and called it a day! I'm entering my card at Creative Creases #28 - Anything Goes with a Fun Fold. Thanks for stopping by today and I hope you are having a fun weekend. Measurements: Basic Black Cardstock: 1″ X 4 1/4″ (6 birds) Basic White Cardstock: 1 1/4″ X 4 1/8″ (4); 1 1/8″ X 5 3/8″; 2 5/8″ X 4 1/8″ (2); 5 1/2″ X 2″ (pelican & clouds) Pacific Point Cardstock: 8 1/4″ X 4 1/4″ (scored at 1 3/8″, 2 3/4″, 5 1/2″ & 6 7/8″); 1 1/4″ X 5 1/2" Designer Series Paper: 1 1/8″ X 4″; 1″ X 5 1/4″; 2 1/2″ X 5 1/2″; 2 1/4″ X 6″ (envelope flap) Blue Foil Specialty Paper 2 3/4″ X 6″

I made this card with Stampin Up's Open Seas. WHICH is one of my favorite sets for making masculine cards. I stamped the image and sentiment with brown sugar. The DP is from last years in color paper stack. I like this card for EZ mailing..no embellishments needed!
Welcome to another Colour INKspiration challenge, where a group of South Pacific Stampin' Up! Demonstrators take inspiration from a photograph taking out the main colours and matching them to ones from the Stampin' Up! range. We would love for you to join in each week, if you don't have the exact colours use ones you have that closely match. I can almost smell the sea when I look at the image for this challenge, the briny smell of the ocean, sand on my feet, the slapping sound of fish falling from the nets ... brings back many a childhood memory! The colours for this challenge are: Emerald Envy Bermuda Bay Tranquil Tide Sahara Sand I spent a number of my childhood years living on a yacht, and I always used to wonder if mermaids were real, often looking over the side of the boat in the hopes of spotting one, so it is no surprise that I was drawn to the pretty little mermaid from the Magical Day stamp set for this challenge. The "seaweed" has been cut using Swirly Scribbles Thinlits, and by making a small cut between the mermaid's tail and hair I was able to slip her in behind the seaweed. The bubbly sheet from the coordinating specialty DSP works so well for this card don't you think? I love how the Copper Trim is actually a tube and can be cut down one side and stretched out like a scrap of fishing net. The sentiment has been cut using the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits, and I gently dabbed it with Crumb Cake Stampin' Blends to make it look a bit more weather worn and like it has been dragged up in the nets. I hope you are inspired to join in the challenge which runs for two weeks, just create a project using this colour combo and add a picture of it to the CI Facebook Page. Time to hop on over and see what the lovely and talented Kim has created this week. Happy Stamping Monique
Good Morning and welcome to my blog today. Today's share is one we made a couple of weeks ago at my Coffee and Card session. We are also making this on Tuesday evening at my re-arranged Tuesday Club (seats still left) and it will also form part of my Mermaids, Myths and Magic Class on 24th March, more details HERE For this card I used a colour combo of Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party, Lemon Lime Twist and Elegant Eggplant. Quite a few new products on here including new ribbon, new adhesive sequins and a new embossing folder too! You can see from the image below how we created sparkly mermaid tails, my favourite part of this card! Hope you like todays make, its one of my favourites from the new catalogue. We have a brand new set of tutorials that are available when you spend £45 or more on my store. These will be emailed to you, 12 exclusive tutorials from around the world! Hi everyone! Today I have a card for this weeks CASology challenge, the cue card this week is Sea. My card is also for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches challenge. Another great sketch this week that I made more than 1 card for yesterday! I used my Stampin' Up "The Open Sea" set for this card, I thought of this ship right away when I saw the cue card. The background is stamped off once and the ship is up on pop dots. I hope you enjoy and thanks so much for stopping by today!
