Hi Everyone! Today I wanted to share a collection of projects I made with the Botanical Bliss stamp set and Botanical Tags Thinlits dies. These dies are unique in that the bottom half of the die shape does not cut out, but is open so that you can create fun tags with pretty images on the tops. The designers of these dies were smart in that they also created addition dies to cut out the remaining part of the image is you desired. I love that! While looking at the set I tried to think of other ways to use the tag toppers with out cutting out the bottom half to use on cards or other projects. I decided to play around with the collection for a bit and here are some of the things I came up with. You can watch a How To video on this card, and I also show you the Luminary and treat holders close up as well. Shop with me! I would love to be your demonstrator. I always send a hand stamped thank you card and sometimes more with a larger order, and I share my Stampin' Rewards with you through my Frequent Buyer Rewards! Earn FREE STAMPS! Hooray ~ it's Thursday! It's time for this week's Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge. It's a great design by Nicole Watt, see what you think: Challenge sketches are great because they give you a starting point, a pattern to follow. You still have the freedom to use whatever products and colors you want, but the sketch gets you started. I really pulled out lots of pretty stamps and embellishments for this card. But the focus of the card is the beautiful Blackberry Bliss blossoms. I love the blossoms from the Choose Happiness stamp set. To get this look I did

I was asked a few months ago if I would like to be a Guest Designer on the Creating Kindness Blog Hop and of course I said yes - what an honor and great opportunity to craft! I'm so inspired by all the talented people on this design team and figured I had plenty of time to get creating. At the time February was so far away and I knew I would have time to create something by then...Ha...as it turns out I blinked and February is here! As you may know, I haven't created anything in months - life, family, business, lack of motivation, loss of creativity - the usual stuff! I finally sat this week and made a card...and it felt good. I made a giant mess in the process, but it felt good! So here I am, I'm back and hopefully you will see a little more of me. The theme for this hop is 'Birthday', which is perfect because I made this card for a friend who always sends me beautifully made birthday cards and I neglected to give her one last year (and I think maybe even the year before that!) so I made this 'especially' for her. I used a stamp set that I have been wanting to use for a long time called Botanical Bliss on page 20 from the Annual Catalogue. The flowers in this set are so pretty and the font is also really lovely. It's a very versatile set and I didn't event notice the 'to:' and 'from:' until I started using it - great to make sweet and simple tags, I might just need to get onto that! Botanical Bliss Next on the hop is super talented and ever so lovely Jenny Hall from the USA. Hit the next button below and thanks for hopping with the Creating Kindness crew today. List of Participants: Louise Sharp – Guest Designer - Australia Jenny Hall - USA Lou Kitzelman – Australia Paula Dobson - New Zealand Jay Soriano – UK Marcy Denning - Canada Cheryll Miller – Australia Danielle Bennenk – Netherlands Jerim Dickins – UK Sara Levin – USA Carolynn Sander - Canada Charlet Mallett - USA Thanks for hopping by!

Hello Stampers! I am excited to share these designs from my recent Botanical Bliss class. The Botanical Bliss stamps and Framelits Bundle has so much versatility. I will share half of our projects today and half of them tomorrow. The images are so beautiful and really stand out in monochromatic designs. This design features Crumb Cake and Whisper White. The Gold Metallic Pearls are a beautiful complement to the Crumb Cake elements. Here is another monochromatic design with Bermuda Bay and Whisper White. I love how the framelit can cut an enchanting pop-up window. This design was CASEd from Beeba on Pinterest. The Botanical Bliss bundle can be seen here for ordering. Watch for tomorrow for two more project designs! Please contact me or your demonstrator with any questions. If you don't have a demonstrator, then I am happy to help you get started with an order. Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Global Design Project Colour Challenge. I was thrilled to be picked as the Guest Designer for this Challenge and these are the lovely colours I got to create with! To create my card I've used the new Botanical Bliss Bundle. I started stamping Happy Birthday in Night of Navy, alternating between stamping it in full ink and stamping it off to create a lighter image. Next I added a swirl of Gold Metallic Thread topped with leaves cut from the Thinlits Die in Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Lastly I added the little bird, stamped in Lovely Lipstick and fussy cut. Three strategy placed Gold Sequin (creating an imaginary triangle) complete my card! Please make sure you head over to the Global Design Project to check out all the fabulous projects by the Design Team. And thanks so much for stopping by, I hoped you enjoyed my card.

Watercoloring is really fun ~ if you haven't tried it, you really should. It's super easy with our Aqua Painters, and I'll show you how! To create this card I used watercolor paper. If you're going to use more than a bit of water, this is the paper to use. The leaves were stamped in Granny Apple Green and then immediately brushed with water using an Aqua Painter. Then I dropped some water from the Aqua Painter onto the paper, and stamped the flower three times using Melon Mambo ink. The Heat Tool was used to speed up the drying
Ann has CASED an elegant friendship card using the Botanical Bliss bundle from the 2018 Annual Catalog in this edition of On the CASE with Ann and Nicole.
What a beautiful day today, the best day we've seem in a long time. I must admit I took a break from making Christmas cards, and made this Thank You card instead. The images were coloured with blendabilities. The background was stamped using Chocolate Chip ink. After colouring the bird, I cut it out and placed it on the greenery using dimensionals. Stamps: An Open Heart, Woodgrain Inks: Chocolate Chip, Memento, Blendabilities Papers: Chocolate chip, Very Vanilla, Whisper White, Old Olive Accessories: Chevron ribbon, dimensionals

Happy Sunday, peeps....it doesn't feel much like Memorial Day weekend, does it? Maybe some of you are beginning to venture out and do more things! Let's hope so! We are still hunkering down here, not much going on! I am the hostess this week for the Paper Players this week, and I came up with this sketch: I am trying to use up some retiring products, and unfortunately, I needed a sympathy card, so this is what I came up with using Garden Lane DSP and Botanical Tags dies: I created some borders with Garden Green and Mint Macaron cardstocks, then diecut the bird tag from another piece of Garden Green. To soften it a bit, I added some vellum behind the diecut and accented it with a pearl: For the sentiment, I took the "Hugs Prayers Love" stamp from Positive Thoughts and taped off the upper and lower words, inked it up in Garden Green and stamped it (after removing the tape!) to create the "Prayer" banner, adding some pearls there too: Finally, on the inside, I stamped a verse from Verve along with the feather from Positive Thoughts: I hope the recipient will find comfort from it. Now, how will you interpret this sketch? I hope that you will play along with our challenge this week and share your card with us at the Paper Players blog! Check out what the design team has created while you're there as well! This weekend we were supposed to be watching my nephew graduate from West Point, but obviously, those plans changed! My sister in SC just sent me these photos.....my great-nephews are visiting my sister and her family; here they are with my nephew Will, first Jameson: and Sawyer! They're having a blast! Enjoy your day and thanks for popping in!

My friend Cindy sent out her invitation to paint a sunflower painting, which I was waiting on .... and ever since I saw it... Having a break from Christmas cards today to show you another of my favourite stamp sets from the 2014 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue, called Choose Happiness. Even the name of this stamp set makes me happy! For the circle layer, I have used the Cracked Glass technique. Here's how you achieve this look: Stamp your image onto the shape Cover the whole image with Versamark ink Emboss with clear embossing powder Repeat the embossing about 4 times Place the image in the freezer for 5-10 minutes When you take it out, GENTLY crack the embossing If you want to have...
