Hi Everyone! Today I wanted to share a collection of projects I made with the Botanical Bliss stamp set and Botanical Tags Thinlits dies. These dies are unique in that the bottom half of the die shape does not cut out, but is open so that you can create fun tags with pretty images on the tops. The designers of these dies were smart in that they also created addition dies to cut out the remaining part of the image is you desired. I love that! While looking at the set I tried to think of other ways to use the tag toppers with out cutting out the bottom half to use on cards or other projects. I decided to play around with the collection for a bit and here are some of the things I came up with. You can watch a How To video on this card, and I also show you the Luminary and treat holders close up as well. Shop with me! I would love to be your demonstrator. I always send a hand stamped thank you card and sometimes more with a larger order, and I share my Stampin' Rewards with you through my Frequent Buyer Rewards! Earn FREE STAMPS! Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Global Design Colour Challenge which use the three colours below: Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo remind me of Spring and as it's officially Springtime here in New Zealand (although the weather outside would have you thinking otherwise!) I decided to use my Botanical Bliss stamp set and co-ordinating Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies to create my card. The base of my card uses the Daffodil Delight paper from the Brights 6" x 6" (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper with a piece of striped paper from the Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper in the new Holiday Catalogue. The Flirty Flamingo circle is cut from the Starburst Punch and then embossed using the new Subtle Embossing Folder - doesn't it look great? My little bird has been stamped in Daffodil Delight, fussy cut and sits on leaves cut from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies. "Celebrate" comes from the Celebrate You Thinlits and has been cut several times from Soft Suede Cardstock. A bow in Linen Thread and a few Iridescent Sequins complete my card. Make sure to check out the other projects using this colour combination on the Global Design Project.
I love the look of the black silhouette die cut against Powder Pink on today's botanical birthday card. It looks just as pretty with Soft Sea Foam instead of Powder Pink. In addition, we say goodbye to products that are retiring and unavailable as of June 4, 2019 or while supplies last. Powder Pink
Hello everyone. As promised, I’m continuing with my showcase of Retiring Products this week. Today’s card features the Botanical Bliss stamp set and the coordinating Botanical Tags dies along with the Tufted 3D embossing folder that are all retiring soon… I’ve used Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron and Shimmery White for my colour scheme. If you're like me, you usually think of a tag as something to tie on a package. Today, I'm letting this tag from the Botanical Bliss bundle take center stage on the front of my card.
Goedemorgen, het is alweer maandag, en tijd voor een nieuwe challenge bij het Global Design Project. Deze week hebben we een sketch challenge, en ik heb de Botanical Bliss gebruikt voor mijn kaart. Jessie and I had an amazingly productive day today - we made over 60 cards for the Crazy Crafters team Onstage event (we will post them in November) We also made sure we did some World Card Making Day Sending too! One of our favourite people to send some cards to, was our new friend Jamie from Wales in the UK. Jamie is 8 years old and his Grandma Wendy said that he watches my videos and loves them! How adorable. He was even impressed that his grandma and I were friends on Facebook and wanted to know if we will come and visit them. (SO CUTE). He is having a tough time at school and not very confident. So we knew that this was the perfect candidate for some card spam for World Card Making Sending Week. So we sent Jamie a card each from Jessie, Bruno and I. We know he is going to LOVE receiving this mail. If you would also like to send Jamie a card - You can contact me and I can pass on his address (with permission from his Mum). I love that our craft can bring people from all backgrounds and places and can make a difference in a BIG way. So special! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️. I also did some card making tonight and was inspired by the incredible Brandi Barnard! We got to cruise with her and her Hubby John earlier this year and we were seated together for dinner. Oh we had so much fun! This is the card that Brandi gave us on the Cruise - I absolutely love this stunning card that she gave us with the Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and Seaside Spray. WOW! Brandi! You can check out her blog HERE. This is the card that I made today after being inspired by Brandi's amazing card. I have used Melon Mambo as the base, then Costal Cabana and Gorgeous Grape. LOVE ❤️ ❤️ ❤️. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE PRODUCTS I USED IN MY CARD OR SHOP NOW I added a pop of Basic Black cardstock and the Basic Black Scalloped Edge Ribbon that is found on page 53 of the Holiday Catalogue. The droplet embellishments are a new go to for me and are the Clear Epoxy Droplets. The sentiment is also from the Botanical Bliss Stamp set and was embossed in white. For those that have my card templates here are my measurements - Melon Mambo Card Base - Gorgeous Grape layer First Layer Basic Black - Melon Mambo layer Second Layer, Whisper White - Flirty Flamingo Layer Melon Mambo Strip for the sentiment - Width of the Flirty Flamingo layer and height you prefer. . Welcome to the Ink It! Stamp It! Blog Hop. This month we are sharing techniques. You may have arrived here from seeing the lovely and talented Sandi MacIver's project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the full line up below will guide you through all the projects. If you are thinking this looks familiar then yes it does! I've used the same colours and a floral theme as I did for my card yesterday. I loved the colour combination so decided to use it again! I've used several techniques on my card: the Coastal Cabana layer has been embossed using the Subtle 3D Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder; the Shimmery White Cardstock has the stitched/cross die from the Stitched Labels Framelits embossed/cut on it; I've watercoloured over the stitching using Coastal Cabana and Lemon Lime Twist; the flower has been cut in Shimmery White Cardstock from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies then coloured with Flirty Flamingo ink; and lastly Best Wishes was stamped in Coastal Cabana. A little Whisper White Baker's Twine bow and three Pear Pizzazz Iridescent Sequin complete my card. Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!
It's Thursday, and that means it's Challenge time again over at www.createwithconnieandmary.com. This week is a sketch challenge, and this is the sketch we had to work with: I've used some of my favourite products and colours on this card. I was going for a really soft look, and hopefully I have achieved that The colours I've used are Soft Sea Foam, Smoky Slate and Whisper White I've used one of my favourite new bundles - Botanical Bliss (p20). The set of stamps is just beautiful. I love the fonts and sentiments. The dies are equally as stunning, so the bundle was a no-brainer for me The little birdies have been snipped from the dies I've used the Tufted Embossing Folder in the background. The Soft Sea Foam patterned paper is from the Tranquil Textures Designer Series Paper Pack (Buy 3, get 1 Free this month!) I have added some teeny pearls to my branch The Whisper White Baker's Twine is just a little finishing touch I hope you like my card. Check out what the other talented stampers have come up with HERE. Don't forget you can play along over on the facebook page! Email me to place your order, or click HERE to Shop Now
I was asked a few months ago if I would like to be a Guest Designer on the Creating Kindness Blog Hop and of course I said yes - what an honor and great opportunity to craft! I'm so inspired by all the talented people on this design team and figured I had plenty of time to get creating. At the time February was so far away and I knew I would have time to create something by then...Ha...as it turns out I blinked and February is here! As you may know, I haven't created anything in months - life, family, business, lack of motivation, loss of creativity - the usual stuff! I finally sat this week and made a card...and it felt good. I made a giant mess in the process, but it felt good! So here I am, I'm back and hopefully you will see a little more of me. The theme for this hop is 'Birthday', which is perfect because I made this card for a friend who always sends me beautifully made birthday cards and I neglected to give her one last year (and I think maybe even the year before that!) so I made this 'especially' for her. I used a stamp set that I have been wanting to use for a long time called Botanical Bliss on page 20 from the Annual Catalogue. The flowers in this set are so pretty and the font is also really lovely. It's a very versatile set and I didn't event notice the 'to:' and 'from:' until I started using it - great to make sweet and simple tags, I might just need to get onto that! Botanical Bliss Next on the hop is super talented and ever so lovely Jenny Hall from the USA. Hit the next button below and thanks for hopping with the Creating Kindness crew today. Welcome to this week's CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. Our inspiration this week comes from the Hostess Sets in the Stampin' Up!® Catalogues. You may have arrived here from seeing Peta's lovely project if you're hopping along already. If you started here, welcome and please make sure to visit all the Design Team's blogs, the next button at the end of this post will take you on your journey. This week my inspiration came from the "Joy" card below on page 55 of the Holiday Catalogue. I've kept the layout the same but changed everything else! For my card I've used the gorgeous Country Lane Designer Series Paper. The design on this paper reminds me of ticking fabric. I love how the Blackberry Bliss card base and oval brings out the Blackberry Bliss stripes. I cut out three of the flower images from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies and layered them on top of each other to create some dimension - the Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets make this soooo easy! The little leaves poking out from under the oval are also from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies. The pearlised sequin from the Iridescent Sequin Assortment co-ordinate perfectly with the Blackberry Bliss! Click the "next" link below to see what my lovely friend and CTC team member Liz has to share with you! We would love you to join us with your CASE this week, using our Facebook group. Click on the image below to go there. For the first time you'll need to click on the "Join Group" button at the top. After you're added you can post your creation and you don't need to have a blog.
Hello, Crafters. Today’s card features another stamp set that is carrying forward to the new catalogue. It’s called Botanical Bliss, and has a matching set of dies called Botanical Tags. Three of the dies in this set are absolutely brilliant for creating gift tags or bookmarkers. I used one of these dies for the rose ... Read More about Botanical Bliss Birthday Card

This week is a colour challenge and I can not, not make a card with these they are some of my faves! & and throw in a gorgeous sketch This week I was looking through different challenges and fell in love with both of these. They looked to me like they would work perfectly together and this is what I made. So so pretty! The main "tag" panel is mounted on dimensionals so it pops up from the base panels. The repetitive stamping onto the smaller panels, sponge daubing around the outside and the use the subtle embossing folder on the Bermuda Bay background panel gives the whole card a bit of texure. Stampset: Botanical Bliss Ink: Bermuda Bay, Lovely Lipstick and Night of Navy Card: Whisper White, Lovely Lipstick, Bermuda Bay, Night of Navy and Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty Paper Tools: Stitched Labels Framelits, Botanical Tags Thinlits and the Subtle Embossing folder with the bigshot as well as sponge daubers Embellishments: Dimensionals & Lovely Lipstick 1/8" Grosgrain Ribbon #GDP149 #PP403 To visit the other projects visit http://www.global-design-project.com/ & http://thepaperplayers.blogspot.com/
Don't you just love Pinterest? I know I do. It awesome for ideas, suggestions and just a wealth of things to make and do that makes my little crafty heart sing. I had seen this pretty card on Pinterest, using a different companies stamps and I thought ohhh I wonder how I can make this with my stamps... and here it is: Cute hey! I have to admit it was nice to step away from Christmas for a minute and remember all the lovely stamps we still have in the Annual Catalogue. But in saying that I do think this card design may appear in my next Christmas card! I've used the lovely pearlescent paper from the Frosted Florals DSP and paired that with the flower stamp and sentiment from Botanical Bliss, my new fav. The pattern paper gave me the colour combo for colouring in my flower and I used our Blends in Highland Heather and Mint Macaroon, with some Crumb Cake for the leaves and a little Pineapple Punch for the centre. As always if you would like to order any of the products you have seen here today, please head over to my STORE and place your order. Yet another amazing Facebook Live yesterday and we had some fun crafting and playing along with some current and NEW products. Here is the card that I made using Patsy Waggoner's card as inspiration for mine. The colours I have used were based on another amazing Starbucks Coffee card - yes I am in love! Bermuda Bay, Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry. WOW what a combo right?? If you would like to see me make this card you can click on the video below. I recorded me making it live yesterday. Bruno and I have been working hard to find out why the recording is downloading at such bad quality and FINALLY after today's video we have worked it out. So thank goodness - this one will be the last fuzzy video Woo Hoo!! Always learning something in this job. Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I'm sharing my card for this week's Global Design Project Colour Challenge. I was thrilled to be picked as the Guest Designer for this Challenge and these are the lovely colours I got to create with! To create my card I've used the new Botanical Bliss Bundle. I started stamping Happy Birthday in Night of Navy, alternating between stamping it in full ink and stamping it off to create a lighter image. Next I added a swirl of Gold Metallic Thread topped with leaves cut from the Thinlits Die in Bermuda Bay Cardstock. Lastly I added the little bird, stamped in Lovely Lipstick and fussy cut. Three strategy placed Gold Sequin (creating an imaginary triangle) complete my card! Please make sure you head over to the Global Design Project to check out all the fabulous projects by the Design Team. And thanks so much for stopping by, I hoped you enjoyed my card.
Hello, Crafters. After yesterday’s post with the book mark, and my comment regarding using the dies for a card, I just had to do it! I really enjoyed working on this, but I do think it’s a bit over busy! I started with a top layer of Balmy Blue Cardstock (CS), and I die cut ... Read More about Botanical Tags Birthday Card

Thank you for joining us for another fantastic Crazy Crafters Blog Hop. We are hopping with the awesome Patsy Waggoner from USA! Bruno and I were seated on the same table on the cruise ship as Patsy on the recent Alaska Incentive Trip (and Allison whom we recently hopped with). Here is a pic of us girls; We will all be casing a card of Patsy's today and this is the card of hers that I chose to case. And, here is my card; I decided to use elements of Patsy's card to inspire me today - the Designer Series Paper, the layout of the card and the ribbon - I don't normally use any ribbon so it was great to use that today. I used the stunning Botanical Bliss stamp set and stamped different elements in Tranquil Tide, Blackberry Bliss, Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Grey Granite. I love the mix of bold with the pastel colours. The stunning Tranquil Tide Velvet Ribbon is from the new Holiday Catalogue that starts on the 5th September and you are going to LOVE it. Also from the new catalogue is the framelits for my sentiment. I used the Frosted Bouquet Framelit Dies and these are so awesome for sentiments. If you like my project today - feel free to pin and remember that you can use different colours that suit you and come up with a completely different card. Thank you to Patsy for inspiring my card today. Thanks for joining the Crazy Crafters team today! We love having you hop along with us and hopefully find LOTS of inspiration from this incredibly talented team. Here is the list of those taking part today below - make sure you click on each one so you don't miss out on some awesome creativity. Today I'm sharing my projects for the OSAT Blog Hop! This month our theme is "I Need A Hero" and I'm featuring cards made using products from the new 2018 Holiday Catalogue. My projects are gifts for two of my daughter's teachers who recently took teams away for a football tournament. They looked after them, encouraged and supported them and took time away from their lives and families to do so. Also after spending two hours yesterday at Parent/Teacher Interviews I am humbled by their dedication and enthusiasm to teach. This cute crate is from the Wood Crate Framelits and uses paper from the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper. The mini cards and envelopes fit perfectly into this little crate! I bundled up four cards and envelopes into a cellophane bag and added the thank you tag which is from the Stitched All Around Bundle. The paper for these cards is from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper - I love how just changing what paper you use creates a different look! The little bird (from the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set) has been stamped in Cherry Cobbler, fussy cut and coated in Fine-Tip Glue to create the raised shiny finish. The leaves at the back are from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies and use Mossy Meadow cardstock to co-ordinate with the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. I've finished each card with a piece of Basic Black Solid Baker's Twine wrapped around it and tied in a bow and a couple of little banners in Festive Farmhouse DSP. "Tis the Season" is from the Itty Bitty Greetings set. I hope you have enjoyed my projects today! Please use the links below to continue on the hop with us. There'll be lots of inspirational projects - you won't want to miss any!

In case you missed my live last week I made some cards for my Dad and sisters. Sadly my father has gone through a really tough time last week. He had a clot and aneurysm in his left leg. The only option that the doctors decided to save his life was to remove his leg. We are in shock that this has happened to him.. but also thankful that he is alive and is doing well after such a major surgery. I made some cards for my Dad and two sisters that have been caring for him. Thank you all so much for your love, comments, cards and kindness during this time with Dad. I am heading to Perth in a few days to spend some time together and give some support. Here is the card that I made for my sister Sara. I used Purple Posy, Granny Apple Green, Highland Heather and Seaside Spray. The stamp set is the Botanical Bliss Stamp Set. I added the adhesive sequins. I made Dad's one with the Night of Navy, Smoky Slate and Basic Grey. I used the Clear Epoxy Droplets which I ADORE. The sentiment is from the Genuine Gems which is a great stamp set. The Smoky Slate 1/2" Textured Weaved Ribbon. Thank again for your support and kindness! We love you all very much. Les fidèles du blog et de la chaîne Youtube Coul'Heure Papier me diront peut-être : "Mais dis-donc, tu nous l'a déjà vendue cette carte-là !!!". Loyal followers of Coul'Heure Papier might say: "You already share that card before!!" Alors oui... mais non !! ;o) And I would reply: "you're right... but no!!" ;o) Oui, je vous ai déjà proposé une carte avec des panneaux qui se superposent et avec cet effet de continuité des motifs tamponnés MAIS... - l'effet est ici obtenu différemment, plus facilement, sans risque d'espaces mal tamponnés et avec un petit effet "ni vu, ni connu je t'embrouille !!" :oD - ces tampons et ce set de dies permettant de réaliser le tag n'était pas encore au catalogue :oD !! So yes, I have already share Triple Time Stamping card before which gives a similar effect BUT... - the result is got from a totally different technique, much easier, with no risk of unstamped spaces and with a little "out of sight, out of mind" trick :oD - The stamps and dies were not yet in the catalogue... cannot be the same :oD !! Une carte qui pourra être réalisée en un tour de main si l'on choisi de faire un panneau décoratif simplement tamponné voire même d'utilisé du papier à motifs. It is a card that can be made very quickly if we chose to simply stamp the background pannel or if we even use DSP. Mais on pourra également y mettre tout son coeur et concentrer sa créativité et peut-être son temps sur ce même panneau décoratif pour en faire une carte vraiment unique et surtout en ayant à réaliser ce dit panneau en un seul exemplaire tout en donnant l'impression de l'avoir réaliser en double ;o) But you can also put all your time and creativity in making the most gorgeous and unique background pannel knowing that you will have to make it only once but let people think you made it twice ;o) J'aime vraiment beaucoup le tag/étiquette/marque-page que l'on pourra détacher de la carte si on le souhaite et qui en fera la carte parfaite pour accompagner un livre offert :o) I really like the tag/book mark that can be removed from the card to make it the perfect card to gift with a book :o) Voici le vidéo-tutoriel... / Here is the video tutorial... Shelli Gardner started Stampin' Up!® 30 years ago and has created more than a just a company, it's a worldwide network of amazing friendships. I love going along to our OnStage events where I get to catch up with "old" friends and make new ones. I created this card for Shelli and as I'm off to OnStage this weekend decided it would be perfect for my swaps - so I created a pile more! After all if it wasn't for Shelli starting Stampin' Up!® in her living room all those years ago I wouldn't be doing what I am! Stitched All Around and the co-ordinating Stitched Labels Framelits Dies are my favourite product in the Annual Catalogue - I use them every chance I get! The colours I've used are Lemon Lime Twist, Pacific Point and Pool Party! I started with a wash of Lemon Lime Twist and Pool Party over the Stitched Label and added the flower and leaf from the Botanical Tags Thinlits Dies. I had also run the label through the Big Shot using the crosses die to create some extra texture. The Subtle 3D Embossing Folder has created the beautiful texture on the Pool Party background. A bow in Whisper White Baker's Twine, a twist of Gold Metallic Thread and some Iridescent Sequin Assortment add the finishing touches. Now I'm off to post this card to Shelli - I hope she likes it! Thanks for visiting my blog today. Please pop over to Kylie's blog to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.

The Stampin' Up!® family is very special. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ Check out our AMAZING All Star Tutorial Bundles 12 amazing tutorials to inspire you each month $20 Click Below to see the Sneak Peeks or FREE with ANY ONLINE ORDER
