Have you been enjoying my posts this week highlighting the new products and Onstage? I hope it has given you a taste of what we experienced at the event. We had such a fantastic time. I loved spending time with my Crazy Crafters team and from the feedback I have received from there - they had a fabulous time too. We celebrated our 10th year of Stampin' Up!® in the South Pacific which was very cool! I will be celebrating my 7th year next month which I am so happy about. I am so thrilled with what joining Stampin' Up!® has done for Bruno and I. We will be off to Europe next month thanks to Stampin' Up!® Here were the 10year anniversary cupcakes. I got back from the April 2016 Stampin' Up! On Stage event and started to wade through my photos. Yikes, I had taken over 800 photos. After whittling them done to around the 550 range, I shared them with my DOstamperSTARS this past weekend. One of my STARS, Elizabeth said..."I almost feel like I got to go with you!" As you might imagine, everyone was very excited! Now I'm going through them again and will be sharing some of my favorites with you throughout the coming weeks. The event started out with a bang and fun band to get us...

Hello! This is a really exciting time of year because it means I get to receive amazing packages from Stampin’ Up! which are full of brand new products from the new 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue. At the start of the year I put together shares of our new papers and ribbons. A ‘share’ is a selection...
I think Peekaboo Peach might be my first favorite of the new in colors. I say first, because I usually end up liking most, if not all of them as time goes by. And, as entertained as I am by Stampin' Up's fun two word color names, I just keep calling this orange. It's the orange of summer and the beach, it's the sweetest orange ever. If you're wondering what is this new in colors talk? Click here: Audra's first in color blog post. So let's sit back and enjoy Peekaboo Peach: Here are all the colors in super cute mini box form: Come on back tomorrow and take a look at Dapper Denim. Stay Crafty!

Mixing Sale-a-bration Products with In Colors 2016-2018 It often amazes me that adding a simple color to black and white patterns hits me like a kid in a candy shop! Granted, I would love to be kid in a candy shop as I LOVE CANDY! I am trying so hard to curve my sweet tooth. Crafting definitely helps keep my mind off candy for most of the time. The card featured in today's post, I wanted to create something green for St. Patrick's Day. I have made cards in the past for St. Patrick's Day, but I was a bit

Oh my goodness!! It's my favorite time of year!! It's that time when I (and all Stampin' Up! Demonstrators) get to order early from the new annual catalog! It's so fun to get my hands on new products and share what I've had so much fun making with you all! Today I had a little time to play around with a new stamp set called Lots of Love and I love it! It's a Hostess set which means that you can only get it with a qualifying party or order. It's got some really cute little animals in this set and to me they screamed that they needed to watercolored. You're also getting a sneak peek at two of out new IN COLORS, Dapper Denim and Sweet Sugarplum. I watercolored the elephant and mouse in Dapper Denim and then I used my Aqua Painter and Dapper Denim ink to paint some white baker's twine to match. After the twine dried I punched a hole in my cardstock where my image would eventually hide the hole. I threaded the twine through and wrapped it around my cardstock. This is a great way to save twine and no one will ever even know! Here's a video of how I made this card and of course I show how to do the background splatter, custom colored twine, twine hoarding "punch in the middle of the card" technique, and, of course the watercolored shadow below the elephant and mouse. I hope you enjoy it! Here's another close up of the adorable elephant and his little mouse friend. Too cute I say! What do you think? I'll be sharing more sneak peeks as often as I can so please keep checking back and let me know what you think! Thanks for stopping by my blog today-I'm so happy to have you! -Maria Need more stamps/ supplies now? Never fear! I've got you covered! Want a great discount on Stampin' Up! I used Sahara sand and then Soft Suede for the next two layers. The little bow is using Pink Pirouette on both layers. The background I used the perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. What to share, what to share?! There are soooooooooo many great new products in the upcoming 2016-17 Annual Catalog (being released June 1st)!!! And those of us that attended Stampin' Up!'s
Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. WAIT!! YOU could already HAVE this stamp set if you were a demonstrator! Why not JOIN MY TEAM?? Send me an email if interested at [email protected] Happy Stampin'! It’s Mix It Up Monday again and time for another project made with a colour combination from my latest set of In Color charts. Today I thought I’d better grit my teeth and have a go with Flirty Flamingo. I confess this isn’t my favourite new In Color as I’m not a huge fan of pink. But for flamingoes, I admit that there’s no better shade! It’s pretty easy to colour the body and legs in different colours simply by careful positioning of the ink pads; start with the paler colour and then you won’t risk staining your pads. For the background, I spattered some paint around by loading up a brush and tapping it over my watercolour paper. This is a really fun technique and you can experiment to get different results. More water mixed with your ink colour will result in larger, paler splodges; less water and less liquid on your brush will result in smaller, darker splodges. I used Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo then, to get the paler green, because I don’t have a Mint Macaron ink refill, I simply used a wet paintbrush on the inside of the ink pad lid (remember to dry it afterwards, so you don’t dilute your pad!). Pop Of Paradise Clear-Mount Stamp Set [141581] £17.00 Flirty Flamingo A4 Cardstock [141421] £7.25 Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock [106550] £8.25 Watercolor Paper [122959] £4.50 Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin' Pad [141397] £6.00 Mint Macaron Classic Stampin' Pad [138326] £6.00 Emerald Envy Classic Stampin' Pad [141396] £6.00 Early Espresso Classic Stampin' Pad [126974] £6.00 Flirty Flamingo Classic Stampin' Ink Refill [141402] £3.00 Emerald Envy Classic Stampin' Ink Refill [141401] £3.00 Links by TheseAreMyStamps.com

Yay! I've created 4 cards for you today with all the same design but just changing the little animals from the set. I was fortunate to be selected by Stampin' Up! to make card samples using the brand new Stampin' Up! 2016-18 In-Colors for the demonstrator only #OnStage2016 event held in Sydney on 16 April. I received a couple of new stamp sets along with the five new colours and was asked to make 20 card samples (four of each colour) to highlight the new 2016-18 In-Colors. This is the first of five posts, one for each colour giving you a sneak peek of the new colours and some of the new stamp sets being released with the new annual catalogue on 1 June 2016. If you are interested in Stampin' Up! products and are located in Australia, please contact me as I'd be happy to assist you. Colour #1: Sweet sugarplum Sweet sugarplum is a soft muted colour which works well with many of the other Stampin' Up! colours such as Rich Razzleberry, Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Smoky Slate and Mint Macaron. This 'happy mother's day' card features the Sweet Sugarplum 30.5cm x 30.5cm (12x12") 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack, card stock, ruched ribbon and classic ink along with the Circle of Spring stamp set and Wondrous Wreath framelits. This card features the Sweet Sugarplum 30.5cmx30.5cm 2016-18 In-Color DSP stack, card stock, ruched ribbon and classic ink along with the new Love You Lots hostess stamp set. I watercoloured the elephant and mouse using Smoky Slate and a touch of Sweet Sugarplum classic ink. This card features the Sweet Sugarplum 30.5cmx30.5cm DSP stack, card stock and classic ink along with the new Layering Love stamp set. I used the current First Sight stamp set, silver metallic foil doily and bow builder punch to add a touch of elegance to this card. My last Sweet Sugarplum card featured the new Gift of Love hostess stamp set. This is a gorgeous two step stamp set and the 'For You' sentiment is also from this same set. I created a layered frame using the Lots of Labels framelits with Night of Navy and Sweet Sugarplum card stock. I hope you've enjoyed this sneak peek of some new stamp sets and the Sweet Sugarplum 2016-18 In-Color. Check back for the other four colours. The current products used on all these cards have been listed below - just click on the picture and it will take you to my online store where the product can be purchased. All the new sneak peek products will be available from my online store from 1 June 2016. Papercrafting classes are also available - please contact me for details. Thanks for visiting. Hello!....Well l'm back from a whirlwind few days in Brisbane for Stampin Up's On-Stage live event and to say l'm just a little excited, overwhelmed and sooo tired is an understatement..:0) It was a fabulous and fun way to spend a few days with some lovely friends. But reality has kicked in and the struggle is real...time to get creating! Our challenge over at Just Add Ink this week is all about these pretty colours! During "Onstage" l received the brand new "Swan Lake" stamp set in prize patrol. And although this is definitely not a set l would normally choose, l thought l would step outside my comfort zone and see if l could come up with something l liked...:0) I stamped, water coloured and sponged all images on some SU Shimmer c/stock and used the fab "New" stitched framelits to create the oval. The sentiment is from another "New" stamp set that we were lucky enough to receive in our check in bags, called "Suite Sentiments"...Loving the versatile sentiments in this set. Both of these sets will be available in the Occasions catalogue on the 4th of January 2017 and will coincide with the release of the fab new Sab products as well. Not that it photographed all that well, but there is a whole lot of Wink of Stella sparkle happening too! I also have another card l made using these colours, to which l have added a "Neutral" Crumbcake, which we do allow in our colour challenges by the way..:0) Don't forget to swing by the challenge blog for some more fab inspiration from the design team. Here is one of the sets that we won at Onstage - the Baby Bear Stamp set. I have a feeling that this set will be very popular! The bear is a three step stamp set - which gives it the realistic look. I used Sahara sand and then Soft Suede for the next two layers. The little bow is using Pink Pirouette on both layers. The background I used the perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. I thought it added a special touch without taking away from that gorgeous bear. Here are some of the amazing displays that I got to see too - There is more to come so make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don't miss an update this week. I have so much to show you! Here are just a few of the displays.... mmm who is that cheeky face???
