Hello Friends I've got to tell you - Stampin' Up! *REALLY* knows how to pamper us!! In a nutshell, this weekend all over the globe, SU! demonstrators gathered for what we refer to as Onstage and Centrestage events. Basically, a mini-convention where we got to come together, share business tips, laugh together, stamp together, and get crazy! All miked up and ready to present onstage at OnStage Had 10 of my downline there and I think they had a blast too!! I sure LOVED having them there with me!! My Onstage Presentation. Nervous? Who? Me?!? I was honoured and blessed to be asked to do a presentation onstage at OnStage. Basically, at the end of the summer SU! sent me a brand spanking new stamp set that no one else had seen before - one that appears in the Occasions catalogue and is not available until January 4 - and they asked if I could do a short presentation to showcase this new stamp set. Me and Jackie Bultje getting to walk onstage and be recognized as having achieved the Incentive trip to Thailand in 2017 Honestly, I had to think about it for a minute or two. NOT !!! I jumped at the chance. And let me tell you, it was pretty neat to get to play with a stamp set that NO ONE else had seen before. I loved the stamp set the instant I saw it (it is called Beautiful You and will be available Jan 4) and I wanted to demonstrate to everyone just how easy it was to use. So for the next few days I am going to give you a couple of sneak peeks at this terrific new set. And I will use it in both the "traditional way" and I'll show you something that uses it "outside of the box". Today's quick Show & Tell sneak peek uses the fabulous Beautiful You stamp set with a french sentiment (yes it comes in french too), in a card that you can create in mere minutes with very few tools or accessories needed. Notice the sketched 'swoosh' that is used to fill in the dress? And notice the red & yellow "DSP" in the panel on the left? You guessed it. I created that DSP using the stamp that fills in the dress. Matchy matchy. And this is also a card that can be used by someone who belongs to the Red Hat Society. I had a request for a card several years ago and could not help my friend, but now I can. Red Hat Ladies...here you go!! As for my masculine card...the sentiment is from the Beautiful You stamp set, as well as the blue reflection/shadow in the water. That was created using the other sketched 'swoosh' stamp that comes in the set. You might notice a bit of wink of stella to make the water glisten. I think I have a wink of stella addiction! ;) I am going to wrap this up by repeating just how wonderful it was to have some of my team members with me at Onstage to share so much stamping fun with. Not only did we have a blast, but we each got a copy of the new Occasions Catalogue and Sale-A-Bration catalogue and we can order some sneak peek items from them too! How about you? Want to see the new catalogues? Are you interested in getting your hands on some new Stampin' Up! goodies....at a DISCOUNT?!?!? If you want to be one of the very first to see the goodies in the new catalogue and be the first to order, you need to buy the starter kit and belong to the Canadian Sunshine Stampers. We get to order before anyone else! The starter kit is a great deal at $135, no tax, no shipping and you get to choose $165 of whatever you want! There are no lock in dates, you don't have to sell and there's no pressure from me. Come back again soon so I can show you some more wonderful projects and sneak peeks. Hope your day is great and your week ahead is fantastic. God Bless, Cynthia <><
I think Peekaboo Peach might be my first favorite of the new in colors. I say first, because I usually end up liking most, if not all of them as time goes by. And, as entertained as I am by Stampin' Up's fun two word color names, I just keep calling this orange. It's the orange of summer and the beach, it's the sweetest orange ever. If you're wondering what is this new in colors talk? Click here: Audra's first in color blog post. So let's sit back and enjoy Peekaboo Peach: Here are all the colors in super cute mini box form: Come on back tomorrow and take a look at Dapper Denim. Stay Crafty!

When asked the question "What would you take with you, besides loved ones, if your house went on fire or a flood was happening?" Many who are asked that question often will say that PHOTOS are their most precious possessions in a time of emergency. Many who have gone through a natural disaster will return to their home in the hopes of being able to salvage some of those precious memories. Are you treating your photos this way? Everyday many of us are losing precious memories because we are NOT PRINTING THEM. They are on our phones or PCs and they are getting LOST. Don't lose those precious memories. It is with a HUGE exciting that I would like to share with you my projects from Stampin' Up! Onstage Local event in Sydney. I was really lucky to be chosen to be one of the Display Stampers. You have no idea what it was like to receive a Big Brown Box from the Stampin' Up! Head Office with a brand new stamp set and ribbon, unfortunately there was a little problem with deliveries so I did not get the new in colours, so I featured the 2015-2017 in colours instead. The new Stamp Set was a 9 piece set, Painter's Palette and I made a variety of cards and 3 dimensional projects using this set. We were also given a selection of carryover items that we were only able to use. Using only the 5 in colours - Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder does have it's challenges, but I think I displayed them in a great light. Today I am going to feature the new stamp set, Painter's Palette and later in the week I will post all my projects in a few posts. Painter's Palette In Colour Balloon Card Painter's Palette Gift Box Painter's Palette Easel Card Painter's Palette Pencil Gift Painter's Palette Card Don't forget the retirement list is out and items are selling out fast so don't miss out, place an online order today using Hostess Code QTGP9JUA (all orders over $50 will receive a special gift from me). The full list which includes the sold out items are here.

Hello once again my Friends Do we *ever* have a fun blog hop for you today. You'll get to see lots and lots of lovely new sneak peeks from the 2016-2017 Annual catalogue. And trust me - your wish list for the new catalogue is going to grow and grow! You may be just starting the blog hop here (I'm Cynthia Millan) - or you may have come from the previous person to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup is listed at the bottom. But while you are here, let me show you my simple but super project. There are lots of beautiful new stamp sets to show you, but I didn't want you to miss the lovely hostess sets at the back of the catalogue so I am using one of the great images from the Fabulous Flora hostess set. Earlier this week I made a simple and quick card to highlight this set for my team members - but I used the beautiful silver foil vellum that is available right now, and that is retiring at the end of May. Knowing that I love this look, I decided I could create my own designer vellum so that this card could be completely current and reproducible! My very own "Designer Vellum" on the card on the left -- retired Silver Foil Vellum on the card on the right. I borrowed an idea from my friend, Lisa Curcio, and used Tear&Tape adhesive to create silver embossed stripes. In a nutshell, I laid a piece of our cardstock vellum onto our silicon craft sheet and then laid strips of Tear&Tape adhesive diagonally across it. I trimmed the overhanging tape, removed the protective coating and poured silver embossing powder over the exposed sticky strips. Heat emboss, and voila....gorgeous designer vellum! Tear&Tape Across Vellum (on silicon mat) After applying silver powder and heating - Embossed Designer Vellum Gorgeous and fun too, am I right? Returning to the card itself, the flower image was stamped using versamark ink onto a piece of Whisper White then silver embossing powder was added and heated. I love the crisp look of the silver and white with our new In Color, Dapper Denim, don't you? Some silver metallic thread and the luscious Dapper Denim 3/8" Ruched Ribbon finish this card off quite nicely! Hope you like my project. I'll try to give you a video version of how I created my Designer Vellum when I have a bit more time. For now - you should be getting ready to enjoy some more terrific projects from my friends! Don't forget to check out all the blogs and leave comments to let us know what you think! I'd stay and chat but I, quite literally, have TONS left to do! I'm off to finish my swaps for the Mediterranean Cruise. Thanks to SU!, hubby and I are flying to Barcelona on the weekend where we'll meet up with hundreds of amazing demos from all over the world (you met a bunch of them as you hopped through these projects!) and we'll cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic to Italy and France with all of them. Can't wait to enjoy this week with my friends. Not a lot of wifi on board ship so I'll hope to post pics when I get home. But until then, enjoy this hop through some gorgeous projects! And get ready for June 1 when you can order from the new catalogue too! Have a wonderful week ahead. And thanks for popping by. God Bless, ~Cynthia <><

I got back from the April 2016 Stampin' Up! On Stage event and started to wade through my photos. Yikes, I had taken over 800 photos. After whittling them done to around the 550 range, I shared them with my DOstamperSTARS this past weekend. One of my STARS, Elizabeth said..."I almost feel like I got to go with you!" As you might imagine, everyone was very excited! Now I'm going through them again and will be sharing some of my favorites with you throughout the coming weeks. The event started out with a bang and fun band to get us...
It is so exciting when we get to introduce to you the new In Colours (colors)! At OnStage it was mentioned that these colours were not created to work all together. For the most part they do, but we can't forget our other Family colours - the Brights, Subtles, Regals and Neutrals. I'm certain these new colours will work well with these too. Did you know that each year Stampin' Up! create their own new colours, they almost always show in the Top Panetone Colours which really determines the hip and funky colours that we will see in design and fashion. Now I understand you may not be a fan straightaway but let me woo you. To decorate these cards I used The Mixed Boarders greetings & a new stamp from Badges and Banners. I've also used a NEW DSP Stack called Playful Palette (coming June 1st pg 174 of the new catalogue) its has 4 of the new In Colours and the designs are fabulous! Peekaboo Peach Flirty Flamingo Emerald Envy Sweet Sugarplum Dapper Denim You can make these cool cards with little supplies - photos to come! - Playful Palette DSP Stack 141657 - InColour A4 Assortment 141434 Plus these new Stamp sets Be inspired with this colour combination, feel free to share and pin it! Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects please leave me a comment I'd love to hear what you think!

Today's birthday card is simple with a pretty pattern from the Cupcakes & Carousels Designer Series Paper Stack! It will be available for purchase in the Stampin' Up! Occasions C

And, if you read this post, you will see NEW PRODUCTS!!!! LOCATION If you have ever seen a photo of Sydney, you will likely have seen the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Close to the centre of the photo, you can see where OnStage was held - at Luna Park. It was an absolutely STUNNING setting right on Sydney Harbour. The actual event was held in the 'Big Top.' One of the things I love about attending OnStage is the opportunity to meet with fellow demonstrators. Here are some pics of some of my fellow demos. Michelle Jutrisa Sue Wdowik - one of the AWESOME Silver Elites from my team The wonderful Louise Sharp looking STUNNING!!! Priscilla Gunton Carolina Evans - one of the AWESOME Silver Elites from my Team With Bruno - he loves OnStage more than I do! Hahaha With Carrie Cudney from the Stampin' Up! home office With Satomi Wellard - one of our top Japanese Demonstrators With Stephanie Fischer and Victoria Bonello from the Crazy Crafters With Vanessa Choi Here is a video showing all the wonderful gifts and prizes that we received this weekend. Display Boards Not only does OnStage allow demonstrators the opportunity to see the products in person, there are some AWESOME display boards that give a fantastic opportunity for us to see ALOT of the new products. And, guess what - I took pictures of them and Im happy to share those FULL display boards with you today. What do you think? WOW? Do you want to see them up close? One of the most awesome reveals at OnStage was the Brand New InColours. Here are the RGB Values and Hex codes for these. This is useful for all those demonstrators out there!! They are STUNNING!! Which one is your favourite? This will help you with creating on Picmonkey type editing programs. And, you know how much I love paper? Here is an image of all of the paper that I will be using and offering to my customers over the coming year. So, what do you think? Remember - these are not all of the products in the new catalogue.
