Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month, the theme is Sale-A-Bration. We hope that you will be inspired by the creations the Pals are sharing with you! Then, you will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal. My card today highlights several SAB items- Softly Stippled DSP (page 8), opaque faceted gems (page 9), Pool Party 5/8" crinkled ribbon (page 6) and Softly Sophisticated stamp set (page 14). You can earn each of these with a 50.00 or 100.00 order now through February 29th. I have a white base and a layer of Pool Party card stock with another layer of the lovely Softly Stippled DSP in Pool Party print. I then cut a white Perennial Postage die to stamp my sentiment in Pebbled Path ink from the Softly Sophisticated set. I wrapped some Pool Party 5/8" crinkle ribbon around before adding my roses that I hand sniped from another print of the Softly Stippled DSP. I used sponged ink in Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam. I finished it off with the Pool Party Opaque Faceted gems. More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. Then, please mark your calendars for our next blog hop next month, when our theme will be “Love is in the Air” on February 14th. Until then, have fun in your craft space. Hi again everyone, Sale-a-bration is starting on 4th January, which means you can get free products with qualifying orders (from $90 in Australia) and who doesn't like free products. Several of the free products co-ordinate with products in the upcoming Mini catalogue which commences at the same time. Here I have used the Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (#162975) which co-ordinates with the Stippled Roses Bundle (#162667) from the mini cattalogue. I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP. I cut the circles with the Stylish Shapes dies (#159183) also using the same DSP. The Basic White card front (#159228) was dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder which is part of the Softly Sophisticated Bundle (#162947) and also a Sale-a-bration product. This was matted with Calypso Coral card (#124392) and attached to the Basic White base card. I taped the circles to the card front. I cut the banner from Pebbled Path card (#161731) also using a Stylish Shapes die. The flower was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The sentiment from Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Calypso Coral ink (#147101) and cut with another Stylish Shapes die. Stampin’ Dimensionals were used to attach the sentiment. The cute bird embellishments are from the Adhesive-Backed Dragonflies & Birds (#162743). “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. Today we are creating a Heartfelt Hello Butterfly Card using the Heartfelt Hello Stamp Set and Softly Stippled DSP.
Hello stamping friends, it’s time for week 43 of the Colour Creations Blog Hop with the Art With Heart Team. Every week we have been featuring one of the wonderful Stampin’ Up! colours in alphabetical order and this week we are up to Pumpkin Pie, a lovely orange colour in our Regals colour family. For tonight’s card I used the Stippled Roses stamp set from the Jan to April Mini Catalogue. I stamped the main rose image in Basic Grey and coloured it with my Blends Markers. The colours I used were Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Petal Pink, Old Olive and Mossy Meadow. The gorgeous DSP I used for the background is from the Nature’s Sweetness Specialty DSP, from the Jan to April mini catalogue. Along the right side of the card I put a strip of one of the other DSP from the same pack. I added some leaf sprigs in Old Olive and Mossy Meadow card stock. The greeting is from the Throughout The Year stamp set. I love this greeting and many of the others from this set, it’s a very versatile set. All of the products used to make this card are from Stampin' Up! and are available from my online Stampin' Up! store. Now it's time see what amazing project my stamping friend Kate Morgan has to share with us. If you encounter any issues with the links in our blog hop please head to Cathy Proctor's blog as she is the wonderful host of our Colour Creations Blog Hops and has a complete list of tonight's participants. Stampin' Up!'s Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper is just so pretty, I had to have more of a play after last night's Colour Creations blog hop. These papers (FREE, until the end of the month, with a $90+ Stampin' Up! order) are designed to co-ordinate with the Stippled Roses bundle, so I have used only that bundle (well, with one other die for the sentiment!). I have used two papers from the pack - the floral background, and the Wild Wheat strip across the middle. I sponged the edges of both of these pieces of paper, in co-ordinating inks, before matting them on a Pool Party card layer. I stamped the spray of roses in Pebbled Path ink on Basic White card, and used the co-ordinating die to cut them out. The flowers were coloured with Pool Party Stampin' Blends, and the leaves and stems with Wild Wheat Stampin' Blends. From Basic White card, I die-cut some extra leaves, as I am in LOVE with the detail on them! The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink, on Pool Party card. I sprinkled white embossing powder over the ink, and melted the powder with my heat tool. The "holey" circle that you'll be seeing so much of on my cards is courtesy of the Everyday Details Dies - my new favourites. I added a bow made with Pool Party Grosgrain Ribbon, and added some Iridescent Pearls. Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. If you live in Australia, and would like to shop with me for your Stampin' Up! supplies, you can get to my online store by clicking on any of the thumbnail images below. NB: The Softly Stippled DSP cannot be bought - the price next to it is just an indicator of its value. Hi Everyone, I have been having so much fun inking up the new stamp sets in the January-April Mini Catalog. Stippled Roses has been 1 of my favorites but I haven't shared a post with it until today. I have a bit of This or That for these cards. For the This card or 1st card - I just stamped the roses in Blackberry Bliss and added a few elements. For the That card or 2nd card - I did everything the same except I used a Blender Pen to go over the stamped image. I really love them both and can't decide which one I like better. Hope you enjoy!
