Happy Monday My Blogger Friends! It's Day Three of my Valentine's Countdown..........And here's a sweet little Valentine's I'm sending out to some very special people this year. This special little Valentine's Day card was made using the Stampin' UP! Hexagon Hive Thinlits Die. This is my Pink Pirouette and Real Red version........ This is my Melon Mambo version...... JUST LOVE how the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack hearts turned out with a quick layer of Crystal Effects. And probably my favorite........Real Red. I'll be back tomorrow to share another Valentine's card with you ......... Hope you can make plans to stop back and join me for that share. Keep Living Your Dream!

It's Thursday again!! Time for a new challenge from Create with Connie and Mary! This week we have a beautiful color challenge: Lost Lagoon, Sahara Sand and Basic Gray. At first I couldn't think what to do with this combo but then I saw my Hexagon Hive Thinlit Die and started my journey with that (sometimes getting to the finish with a card is really a journey for me, with backtracks and changes of direction, especially with color challenges. How about you?) I knew early on that I wanted to use the Dictionary stamp on the paper behind the hexagon diecut; I stamped it off once before the final stamping onto the Lost Lagoon cardstock. Next I diecut the stems and leaves from Basic Gray and, using the Blossom Punch, punched out the two large flowers. The two small flowers were also punched from Sahara Sand with the blossom punch in the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack. The center of the flower was stamped in Basic Gray, colored with Lost Lagoon then added a light dusting of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter adhered with a Two Way Glue Pen.. Pearls embellish the centers of the flowers. Stamps: Honeycomb Hello, Mixed Bunch (flower center), Dictionary Ink: Basic Gray; Lost Lagoon Marker Paper: Lost Lagoon, Basic Gray, Sahara Sand cardstocks Accessories: Hexagon Hive Thinlit, Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die (stems & leaves), Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack, Blossoms Flower Punch, Pearls, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Two Way Glue Pen, Dimensionals, Glue Dots. Here is the Color Challenge 340 this week from Create with Connie and Mary: We would love for you to take the challenge with us this week using this unique color scheme! I really like how these colors can work together to produce lovely results! Just go to Create with Connie and Mary's blog for the guidelines, make your project them upload it to their website! We can't wait to see what you do with it and we are always inspired by the creations of those who participate! Also, while you're there, check out the cards of the other Challenge Team members ... they always inspired me! Thanks for looking! Margaret

Hello! I wanted to play with the Hexagon Hive thinlit die and found a pretty sketch at Cardabilities as well as a colour combo at Hand Stamped Sentiments to inspire me... I wanted to stamp something on the Hexagon Give die-cut so I looked through my stamps for some possibilities and decided on some of the motifs from Hello Lovely... I was really pleased with how this one turned out (even though I forgot to put the large banner from the sketch into my design!). I was actually pretty quick to put together because of the flowers and leaves having coordinating dies (love these!)... I added some pearls and a greeting and that was that! Here's the recipe: Stamps: Secret Garden, Hello Lovely, Petite Pairs Ink: Coastal Cabana, Gumball Green, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight Paper: Coastal Cabana, Whisper White Accessories: Pearls Tools: Secret Garden framelits, Hexagon Hive thinlit die Thanks for stopping by... x Amy x

Love how this card turned out! My card base is Basic Black with a layer of Modern Medley designer series paper run through the Big Shot with a brand new Hexagon Hive Thinlits die! This is my first card and can't wait to see what others are going to do with it. I stamped the bigger flowers from the Flower Shop stamp set on Very Vanilla with Black Stazon. The smaller flowers are also a sneak peak and are from the new Petite Petals stamp set, and both use coordinating punches! I then used the Bitty Banners framelits to cut...
