One last blast of Summer before Fall comes! It's been a good week here. Lots going on, lots to create and photograph. Today I'm popping in to share a card and a super fun announcement! Today we are showcasing several new products, Lemon Blossom stamps & dies, Just Mason Around stamps & dies, Oopsie Daisy Stamps & Dies. All of the new products that I am sharing today will be available to purchase on Friday, June 21 at 10am ET at The Greetery. This card uses the new Lemon Blossom stamp set and coordinating dies. For the background, I used some Distress ink mixed with water. I just took a large paintbrush and lightly brushed it across several times. The stamps were all stamped in multiple layers using my MISTI stamping tool, cut out with the coordinating dies and added to the card with foam tape. *** This card was created with the new Mason Around stamp set and Oopsie Daisy stamp set. The mason jar is a layered stamp with four different stamp images, and it creates such a realistic looking jar! I just love it! I stamped a few flower stems on top of the jar to create the illusion that the flowers were actually inside the jar. I stamped the pretty daisies in several different shades of pinks and purples and adhered them behind the card. I hope you have enjoyed seeing what Betsy has coming so far! I chose a bright color combo of red, pink, green, and yellow. I just adore the citrus details Betsy added to this set! Hi friends! I'm just popping in today to share a few cards I made using the Lemon Blossom stamp set from The Greetery. I wanted to use the "happy summer birthday" sentiment before Summer disappears! I will pop this one in the mail ASAP to the next birthday gal on my list! I also wanted to use the "I could just squeeze you" sentiment as well. I haven't sat down and made anything "just because" in a LONG time, so I was happy to get to just stamp away creating all of the bits and pieces for these two cards! To begin, I die cut everything using the Lemon Blossom Die collection a few times; I wanted to have a lot of pieces to choose from. Once they were all die cut, I used my mini MISTI to get everything stamped quickly. The citrus slice image is a two step stamp. Betsy has included a little tab on the edge of the stamp so that you know which way to line them up. I actually just layered the second step directly over the first step stamp and lined up the tabs that way. Because it was in my MISTI, I was able to just stamp the 2nd step very easily. I love how the bright pink centers of the blossoms really make the flowers come alive! I love the attention to detail that Betsy puts into everything that she does! Once the pieces were all stamped, I set them aside and got to work on the blended panels. I cut two pieces of Fresh Snow Linen Cardstock at 4 by 5 1/4 inches and then blended in some Hawaiian Shores ink using the Taylored Expressions Blender Brushes. I smooshed my Hawaiian Shores ink pad onto an acrylic block and added some water so that I could add some ink flecks to the blended panel. Once that was done, I added the different sentiments using black ink. I added the die cut pieces here and there and then spritzed the entire piece with Shimmer Spray. I added some clear Nuvo drops to the the lemons and slices for some juicy shine. The finishing touch is a few sparkling clear sequins. I added each panel to a standard A2 cardbase using foam squares. I had a lot of fun on these two cards! Thanks for fluttering by!

I hope you all had a fabulous weekend! I'm popping in quickly today to share the card I made for my Papertrey Ink Flash Sale this week! It's been a while since I've used many of the products for today's card so this was a fun one to put together! I love all things lemon, so it is always so fun to use lemons in my crafting as well! Just a note: I'm not sure when the newsletter will arrive in your inbox, but the sale will start then! I was going for an Italian vibe, so I started by stenciling two different panels using the Woodblock Prints Stencil Collection to create the look of tile. The largest background panel measures 4 by 5 1/4 inches and uses the largest pattern in the stencil collection. I used Blueberry Sky and Enchanted Evening inks for the stenciling. The smaller stenciled panel uses Spring Rain ink and the smallest pattern in the collection. I added some ink blending aroudn the edges of both panels using the residual ink on my dark blue blender brush. I die cut the frame using the Framing Florals Die and then stamped it using the Framing Florals Stamp Set and Enchanted Evening ink. I set the stenciled panels and frame aside while I got to work on the lemons, leaves, and blossoms. I die cut all of the leaves, blossoms, and lemons from white cardstock using the Tag Creations: Lemon Die and then colored them using a blender brush with Lemon Tart and Summer Sunrise Ink for the lemons; stamped with both inks as well. The leaves are blended with Green Parakeet and New Leaf inks; stamped with New Leaf. The blossoms have a touch of residual yellow ink around the edges and Summer Sunrise centers. The sentiment, which is from the Just Sentiments: Quotes Mini stamp set, is stamped on the bottom of the frame using black ink. To create the curvature of the blossoms, I simply use the end of my stylus to press the centers of the flowers into my foam mat. It automatically curves them to give them a little more realism. I layered everything up using foam squares and liquid glue. I added some ink splatter to the blossoms and lemons using a color spritzing tool and a mustard colored marker. Of course, the lemons and leaves needed a sprinkling of glitter for some sparkle! The entire stenciled background panel is layered onto an A2 size piece of Bitty Big: Blueberry Sky pattern paper glued to a top-folding A2 card base. Thanks for fluttering by!
