Happy belated Mother's Day! I meant to share this card with you yesterday. But oops! I forgot to post it. I LOVED making this card with the upcoming new Perennial Essence Suite of products that
Floral Essence is a brand new stamp set available in Stampin' Up!'s 2019-20 Annual Catalog. I love how easy the punch makes cutting these flowers out!
Hello everyone. Welcome to another Stampin' Up Artisan Design Team blog hop. This month we are sharing projects created with the products in the Perennial Essence Suite. This suite is all about flowers and the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper has the most amazing hand-painted impressionistic imagery. How stunning are these patterns? They really are just so beautiful that they would look amazing framed on their own. I couldn't go past using this pattern of soft pink and rich blackberry roses and I wanted to draw on the Blackberry Bliss tones with this card. When stamping my flowers I stamped the larger flower in full strength Blackberry Bliss and the smaller flower was stamped off first and then stamped in the second generation. I then stamped the centre of the flower in Blushing Bride before fussy cutting the flowers. To compliment the floral imagery I added a Whisper White tag and Mossy Meadow leaves created with flower die from Botanical Tags Dies and the sentiment has been die cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Lastly I embellished the card with some Scalloped Lace Trim, a couple of Pearls and Silver Faceted Gems that have been coloured with a Dark Blackberry Bliss Blend and a nest of frayed Organdy Striped Ribbon. Thank you for joining me today. Make sure you continue through the hop to see what my Artisan friends have created with this suite. Next up is my beautiful friend Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand. You are going to love her work. Happy Stamping - Tan xx

Hi, You know when you have one of those days that you just need to take it easy? Well, today was one of those days, and it gave me the perfect excuse to play with the Floral Essence bundle. For inspiration, I set myself a few goals: 1. I had to try a new technique - I chose blending ink colours without leaving lines (using a sponge) 2. I had to break open and use some of the Perennial Essence DSP 3. I finally unpacked my heat gun and embossing powder, so I wanted to include embossing 4. I had to use at least half of the stamps in the Floral Essence stamp set 5. I had to case someone else's cards - I rarely do this but there are so many amazing designs out there that others have kindly shared, so why not? 6. Have fun! I managed to reach all my goals and had a wonderful afternoon creating cards. For my first two cards, I cased Kaylee Van Es' card from her April 2019 OnStage Product Spotlight Event and tweaked them. I used her background design for one card and the embossed flowers on the second one. The third card was cased from Tami Hewlett's TGIF Challenge - I chose Seaside Spray (my favourite In-Colour) and added some Wink of Stella to create some sparkle. This one is definitely my favourite card for the day! If you have any questions about techniques or products used, please ask. All products are available to order in my online shop (except for the Highland Heather ribbon - there are many other available ribbon options that would work beautifully): http://bit.ly/KristinaSU. Don't forget to use the June Host Code 96KTRFTW unless your order is over $250 so I can send you a thank you gift. Until next time, Kristina 🌸

We’re busy renovating the house we moved into last summer. I’m also lucky to get to spend three days each week at the beach in Avalon, NJ with my daughter and grandson…so I’m not complaining at all! Hello stampers. Simple stamping is a forgotten pleasure. Sometimes we forget that a simple card can be prettier than a very fancy one. I was busy creating for my Bingo party which I host to introduce my people to all the new products in the upcoming catalogue. These projects need to be simple for several reasons. First of all there are a LOT of people in attendance. Second, it really is all about the Bingo and winning great product prizes. We stamp so that we can use the new products and see the new in-colours in action. I also want

I have a bit of catching up to do here! Nigezza Creates aka Gez, Independent Stampin' Up® Demonstrator Thank you for joining me today for the 9th Project Share of the year with Jill AKA Paper Daisy Crafting. Every other Wednesday I will choose 3 projects from my crafty mate Jill and share them with you. I really hope you go and visit her blog and watch her videos on YouTube. I have picked 3 amazing projects to share with you, I am sure you will love them too :-) Do you like the new header? We had this photo taken at On Stage last month. Just in case you are new to my blog let me introduce Jill she is on the left of this photo (I am on the right). She has a lovely Blog which I am sure you will want to check out once you see the projects I have chosen to show you. Project 1 This card uses the bundle Well Said, a stamp set with lots of sentiments and phrases with coordinating dies that also have lots of words and sentiments as well as other elements. I just love this rainbow birthday card, my youngest son would like this one ....mmmm now there's a thought! Click here for the original blog post :-) Project 2 Jill has used the paper picking technique for this card. It involves fussy cutting so not my forte but I do love how it looks so may have a go ....one day! Jill made this card for a blog hop we were both on recently which is really worth checking out. Click here for the original blog post :-) Project 3 This last card is a variation of one of the make and takes we got at On Stage. Jill and I alway sit together at these events an never craft we just do the necessary stamping and die cutting or as in this case the punching, and just chat and catch up. We talk over the internet daily but it is always so nice to be able to do it in person. This was my favourite Designer Series Paper (DSP) in the new catalogue, inspired by my favourite Impressionist artist Monet. I intend to frame some for my craft room! Jill has use the Well Said dies again for this sentiment and has made an alternative to the make and take design. Really lovely. Click here to go to the original post :-) I hope you enjoyed the 3 projects I chose and I hope you will go and check out Jill's Blog, she also has video tutorials for each of these projects as well. Welcome to the OSAT May blog hop........Fabulous Florals!!! I'm glad you've stopped by and I hope you enjoy my projects. I decided to mix some of the retiring along with some of the new to come in my projects. So you'll be getting a sneak peek at the new, but also a reminder of what is leaving us. The beautiful Petal Promenade DSP is sadly retiring. This paper is just gorgeous!!! I love all the shades of pink and the great designs of the special sheets as well. Don't forget I'll be listing all the products used at the end of this post. I started with my 3D project first this time because I had this little glass candle jar that I had saved after burning the candle. I just can't stand to throw useful things away. I started with covering the jar with the DSP. That in and of itself made it pretty. I then proceeded to use the Floral Essence stamp bundle to make a flower for the front of it. This set is so pretty and I'm sure you'll want to get your hands on it come June 4. The bundle includes the punch for the flower that I made and the leaves are punched with our current leaf punch. How cool is that? You could put a number of things in this, but I chose to use it for my SU watercolor pencils. I think adding that Vanilla Lace ribbon just finished it off. I used the bone folder to curl the flower petals and give the flower more dimension. The centers of the flowers are the Share What You Love artisan pearls. These little lovelies will be retiring as well. I will be sad to see them go. While they are the colors of the retiring In Colors, I have found them to work with so many of the other colors. It's almost like they are chameleon like when you put them with other colors than the color they are. I just might want to stock up on a couple packs of these and I don't usually buy retiring items as a demonstrator. My card is pretty much like my 3D project. I used all the same things and added the Story Label Punch for the sentiment. I like to layer my sentiments when at all possible and that's what I did here. I punched a label with Soft Sea Foam and cut it in two right up the middle, lengthwise. I then adhered half to each side of the stamped white punched out piece. It doesn't completely frame it at the top, but that's not a problem. I use this technique quite frequently. Don't you just love this DSP? Maybe I should get some extra of this too? How about you? Well thank you again for stopping by and I hope you will keep on hopping by clicking on the next person in the list below.
