Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I've been lazy all morning although I have managed to make five Christmas cards. I just chose not to do any chores around the house. My husband played golf today, so I thought that I should do what I love to do as well. I want to share this card with you created with the Sheltering Tree (137163) stamp set. I love this set and have found it very versatile. I think I have made cards for Valentine's Day, Christmas and Thanksgiving cards with it. It really is a must have to add to your collection. I stamped the tree first in Early Espresso then used sponge daubers to add Tangerine Tango, Crushed Curry and Pear Pizzazz ink on the branches of leaves then used the leaves image all over by using Rich Razzleberry and Cherry Cobbler ink pads. It's hard to see on the photo but I added drops of glaze or glossy accents randomly on the leaves just all over to add another dimension to the image. It actually turned out really nice. Well, that's all for today, folks. I'm going to get ready to go to my mom's for our Thanksgiving dinner. Have fun and be safe shopping tomorrow!

I am still playing with the Sheltering Tree stamp set :o) I decided to use the stamps a little differently this time though. I used the 'Blossom' stamp with both Pink Pirouette and Rich Razzleberry ink to decorate around the edges of a Whisper White mat. This gives such a pretty effect! I haven't used Flower Shop in an age, so got that out to create the flowers for the corners. After trying several sentiments for the centre, I settled on the Happy Birthday from the Label Love set :o) ___________ Shop With Me Online - 24/7 Join My Team Find Me On Facebook Supplies Sheltering Tree Photopolymer Stamp Set [137163] £22.95 Flower Shop Wood Stamp Set [130939] £21.95 Label Love Wood Stamp Set [130619] £21.95 Rich Razzleberry A4 Card Stock [119981] £6.25 Pink Pirouette A4 Card Stock [116203] £6.25 Whisper White A4 Card Stock [106549] £7.50 Rich Razzlebberry Classic Stampin' Pad [126950] £4.95 Pink Pirouette Classic Stampin' Pad [126956] £4.95 Pearl Basic Jewels Embellishments [119247] £4.50 Pansy Punch [130698] £14.25 Artisan Label Punch [130920] £14.25 1/2" Circle Punch [119869] £5.75 Texture Boutique Machine [132657] ... Posted: 2018-07-25 Hey guys....Today I pulled out a set that hadn't seen ink in a while. Sheltering Tree. I wanted to experiment with some of the Watercolor Pencils and see what was the best results when it came to our white cardstocks. I'm a lazy stamper and usually just grab for some Whisper White each time I stamp even though I have all the others. I started out first just playing with some background options so I lightly scribbled the watercolor pencil across the cardstocks. I have labeled below which one I used in each case. I just Scribbled some Balmy Blue and Granny Apple Green pencil and then wiped over ...
hi there, January is flying by so here I am to show you some more cards. I have really enjoyed making cards with all the lovely new sets in the Occasions Catalogue. I borrowed the set Sheltering Tree and made a couple of samples but when I had some hostess dollars to spend, I decided to buy it for myself. We could sure do with some shady trees here in Perth where the summer temperatures are quite high. It's only 38 deg here at the moment. There are so many possibilities with this set. This card is made with Wild Wasabi and Melon Mambo. I sponged the clouds with Soft Sky. and here is a peak inside.... The next card I have used Calypso Coral for a change in the leaves and used a strip of Birthday Bash specialty designer paper. Once again I've used Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso card stock. My final card for today is one I cased from Pinterest. It came from stamprightup. It was so lovely that I didnt change anything. The sun is from Kinda Eclectic set. Thanks for stopping by. Now I just need to keep this up. Leave me a comment to let me know you are visiting me and would like to see more.
