We at the Stamp Review are pleased to feature the fabulous stamp set Kinda Eclectic for you this round! I love that it has so many great individual stamps. They all work very well together, and when used separately, and with other stamp sets. It truly is an eclectic set :) As always, if you get lost along the way, you can always find the right links on the official Stamp Review blog, and click here for the post for this hop. If you have missed any of the past hops, be sure to go to the official Stamp Review Crew site and catch up! If you are following along in order, then you just came from Wendy Weixler's blog. Isn't she amazing?! I am #6 on this hop, so let's go see what I came up with :) How about a wreath of greens is some slightly funky colors. I wanted to try it in mints and aquas as those seem to be quite popular right now. The pearls are colored with the darkest Old Olive Blenda. For the mint color I used Pistachio Pudding, and the aqua is Pool Party. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow. I added a couple of the branches of leaves on the inside of the card, and some more white gel pen, of course! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog These 2 purples just called to me when I was making this card. I have had a little idea paper taped to my stamping area for this card for about a month now and I finally made this card just hours before the deadline before this hop! You can just make out the sentiment in the picture here, but it is much more visible in real life. I added a couple of butterflies to the inside also. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog I featured this set in another blog hop back in June and thought I would share a couple of the cards I made for that hop. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog I just love this card. I ended up giving it to a sweet young lady who agreed to watch our pet rabbit for a week on short notice. I had completely forgot to make arrangements for little miss Chai Tea Leaf while we stayed at a cabin on vacation! Yes, my bohemian daughter named this rabbit. The cat she got a couple years later got named Rasta Punkin.... The bunny sitter told me it was the most beautiful card she had every received and immediately hung it on her fridge :) And no, she isn't a stamper, lol! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog That's all for me folks, time to head over to Debra Currier's blog to see the magic she whipped up!

Today's card was actually a CASE of a card that I fell in love with, but can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. (If the card was yours, thank you for the beautiful inspiration!) I loved this card so much that I decided to make it into a set of 4. It was honestly very easy to create and it only took the one stamp set. The only thing that took a little time was cutting out all of the butterflies. (I don't have the punches yet, but they are on my wish list!) Stamps: Kinda Eclectic Ink: Crumb Cake, Basic Black Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White Accents: Pearls

This morning I had about 30 minutes between dropping my son off for cross country practice and leaving again to go pick him up. I decided to pull out one of my brand new stamp sets and play. :) It's not my typical style of cards, but I love the way it turned out. Sometimes it is fun to just be a kid and play. :) Did you notice this card only used one stamp set? It truly is an eclectic mix. eta: I'm adding this to a new to me challenge, AAA Cards, that I found thanks to my friend, Kristie. #8 Inspire Supplies: Stamps: Kinda Ecclectic (SU) Ink: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Tangelo Twist, Wild Wasabi. I'm excitied to finally share this card with you. I think it's so beautiful and definitely a big favorite of mine. I just love this color combination of Mossy Meadow and Pear Pizzazz and I think it's a Dynamic Duo; which is something Stampin' Up! has labeled their combo's in the past. Hey blog friends!...Today I'm sharing a simple one layer (almost) card, using the Kinda Eclectic set and some of the lovely flower sets from Stampin Up called Flower Shop and Petite Petals. I'm having a bit of a pastels phase and Soft Sky is a current fave. I paired that with Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush on Naturals White cardstock and l think it's a pretty combination. The fact that most of the details are punched, makes it very quick to create....My kinda card..:0) I didn't capture all of the inside details, but you get the idea. "Thanks for stopping by" All supplies used are Stampin Up!

I forgot to post this! My friend Amy Jo's had a stamping workshop a few months ago. When I asked her what stamp set I should use she mentioned that she likes the Kinda Eclectic set and that it was on her wishlist. I love it too and was happy to use it. I also knew that her favorite colors are blues and browns and that she loves the sponging technique. So here's what I created: Isn't it gorgeous! Can...

Good morning! I can't believe we're half way through the week and July is almost over. We've got a break from the heat and humidity here I Northern Virginia and I'm loving this more comfortable weather (perfect for outdoor workouts). Today I decide to play along with the Paper Players card sketch challenge, it's been awhile since I've played along so this was fun. One of the stamp sets we received at convention was Kinda Eclectic and I had fun stamping with it so I decided to use it for this sketch and really show off a lot of the different stamps that are included in the set (they work so well together). The cardbase is Sahara Sand and I added a layer of Whisper White cardstock that's matted with Lost Lagoon Cardstock. On this layer I stamped the sun image with Hello Honey and the dots for the border along the bottom with Sahara Sand. Next I took the leaf image and stamped on another piece of Whisper White and stamped multiple times without reinking to get different levels of ink strength for the image. This piece was then matted with Blackberry Bliss cardstock. For the main stamped image I stamped the sun image again and then punched it out with the 2" Circle Punch. The greeting (also from the same stamp set) in Blackberry Bliss ink. I matted this with a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock that was cut out with the Big Shot and Window Frames Collection Framelits and then embossed it with the Perfect Polka Dot Embossing Folder. The final touch was to add some ribbon flags with the Hello Honey 3/8" Stitched Satin, Blackberry Bliss 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, and the Natural 5/8" Chevron Ribbon. I love how well these new In Colors work together and this stamp set is so versatile. I know I've said it before but sketch challenges really are a great way to get you going on a project if you're a little stumped and you can make it work for lots of different project types. What I like about Kinda Eclectic stamp set is there is nothing you can do to mess up a card. I randomly stamped the images using Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss inks. Flower is from Beautiful Bunch. Love the Shabby Chic look. Just a fun set to stamp with. Stamping trails Karen

Hello!! Well, we had quite a switch in the weather this week. We went from hot and sunny to warm and rainy! I'm not complaining though because the hot weather was starting to wear on me a bit and so I'm enjoying the cool down! Have a card to share that I made for several challenges: ColourQ, CAS(E) this Sketch and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (summer... butterflies are all over the place during the summer!). When I saw the new CTS layout my thoughts went to a couple of different sets, but in the end I settled on the new SU! set Kinda Eclectic. I stamped the sunburst image using Coastal Cabana and then over stamped it with the polka dot image using Early Espresso. The butterflies were added using Pumpkin Pie and Kiwi Kiss inks. The sentiment is from PTI's Wet Paint III set and stamped in black and Early Espresso inks. Finished things off with some clear sequins on the butterflies and the polka dots. Thanks for stopping by... Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white, Stamps: Stampin Up! and PTI; Inks: Stampin Up! and Memento; Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh clear 4 mm and 6 mm

Whew..finally back with another Display Board Sample with my favorite stamp set EVER...Kinda Eclectic. Seriously, the possibilities with this stamp set are endless! I kept this one really clean and simple... Supplies Used: Paper ~ Whisper White Ink ~ Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Hello Honey, StazOn Stamp Set ~ Kinda Eclectic, Work of Art I'm thankful I made an extra one of this card...I will be hand delivering this to my good friend Amy, who filled my shoes as a mommy to one of my boys yesterday. My hubby and 3 boys set off on a long weekend get away yesterday, which I will surprise them by joining them tomorrow :-). They caravanned with some of the other families that are going and they all stopped for lunch in Hood River. After spending nearly 4 hours in the truck, the boys were anxious to get out and were being boys, horsing around and chasing each other. Well, Aidan wasn't watching where he was going and ran smack into a pole. Getting a picture like this when you are away from your babies is not fun... My hubby reassured me numerous times that he was ok and that it really looked worse than it really was. Being that my hubby is a paramedic, I knew my boy was in good hands, but it was not easy as a mom to not be there for my baby when he was hurting :-( My sweet friend Amy texted me later to let me know the swelling had gone way down and that he was totally fine. Thank you Amy for keeping an eye on him and keeping me updated! Needless to say, our family pictures for next week have been put on hold...boys! I'm just happy he is ok and everyone is having fun! I can't wait to meet up with all of them tomorrow! Wishing you all a fabulous weekend! Happy Stamping!
I love this card!! I received it from my Paper Pumpkin club hostess, Trish. I listed the supplies I think Trish used below. She even added a layer to and stamped the inside! Are you all jealous?
