We at the Stamp Review are pleased to feature the fabulous stamp set Kinda Eclectic for you this round! I love that it has so many great individual stamps. They all work very well together, and when used separately, and with other stamp sets. It truly is an eclectic set :) As always, if you get lost along the way, you can always find the right links on the official Stamp Review blog, and click here for the post for this hop. If you have missed any of the past hops, be sure to go to the official Stamp Review Crew site and catch up! If you are following along in order, then you just came from Wendy Weixler's blog. Isn't she amazing?! I am #6 on this hop, so let's go see what I came up with :) How about a wreath of greens is some slightly funky colors. I wanted to try it in mints and aquas as those seem to be quite popular right now. The pearls are colored with the darkest Old Olive Blenda. For the mint color I used Pistachio Pudding, and the aqua is Pool Party. The sentiment is stamped in Mossy Meadow. I added a couple of the branches of leaves on the inside of the card, and some more white gel pen, of course! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog These 2 purples just called to me when I was making this card. I have had a little idea paper taped to my stamping area for this card for about a month now and I finally made this card just hours before the deadline before this hop! You can just make out the sentiment in the picture here, but it is much more visible in real life. I added a couple of butterflies to the inside also. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog I featured this set in another blog hop back in June and thought I would share a couple of the cards I made for that hop. Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog I just love this card. I ended up giving it to a sweet young lady who agreed to watch our pet rabbit for a week on short notice. I had completely forgot to make arrangements for little miss Chai Tea Leaf while we stayed at a cabin on vacation! Yes, my bohemian daughter named this rabbit. The cat she got a couple years later got named Rasta Punkin.... The bunny sitter told me it was the most beautiful card she had every received and immediately hung it on her fridge :) And no, she isn't a stamper, lol! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog That's all for me folks, time to head over to Debra Currier's blog to see the magic she whipped up!

I'm having a bit of a pastels phase and Soft Sky is a current fave. I paired that with Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush on Naturals White cardstock and l think it's a pretty combination. The fact that most of the details are punched, makes it very quick to create....My kinda card..:0) I didn't capture all of the inside details, but you get the idea. I'm just popping in to share another shaker card l made a week or so back, but with all of the baby love happening around here, l was just a little distracted and only just ventured back into my studio. Thanks so much to everyone that stopped by and left such lovely comments on the arrival of Mason, he is just adorable and they are all doing really well. xxx So, now to share my card info! Hi friends! It is time for a brand new sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch! I was pretty excited to use some new Stampin' Up goodies for my card! Yay! I flipped the sketch on its side and decided to be a rebel! Wow! Life has been crazy insane and I have not been crafting as much. I have one swollen leg that I deal with on a daily basis but for some reason, it has been acting up REALLY badly. So after work, I come home and sit in the chair with my leg up. As a teacher, I really do not have time to "rest" but my body is telling me it must be so! Hope you can play along at CAS(E) this Sketch!
I CASEd this card design by SU! Artisan Alison O. Kinda Eclectic stamp set; Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow and Hello Honey Incolor inkpads; Elegant Butterfly punch; Gold Sequin Trim.

Today's card was actually a CASE of a card that I fell in love with, but can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. (If the card was yours, thank you for the beautiful inspiration!) I loved this card so much that I decided to make it into a set of 4. It was honestly very easy to create and it only took the one stamp set. The only thing that took a little time was cutting out all of the butterflies. (I don't have the punches yet, but they are on my wish list!) Stamps: Kinda Eclectic Ink: Crumb Cake, Basic Black Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White Accents: Pearls
It's time, once again (HOORAY!) for the Stamp Review Crew to strut their stuff!!! It's so much FUN to see all the different things that everyone one does with the same set ... I get SO inspired each and every time!! I have seen a LOT of "spring-y" stuff done with this gorgeous set ... it was actually the very first number ONE set on my list as soon as I saw the new catalog this past year. And I was really GOOD an waited for Convention to roll around, as it was one of the sets we got if we attended. Let me tell ya, it was HARD for me to wait for this set, but it was WELL worth the wait!!! My sewing machine has been getting a lot of mileage since I've been Halloween-ing for the past couple of weeks. So, of course, I had to use THAT while it was out!! Stamps: Kinda Eclectic Paper: Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey, Vellum Ink: Sahara Sandy, Tangelo Twist, Hello Honey Accessories: Circles Collection Framelits, 1" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Tangelo Twist Stitched Satin Ribbon, Natural Trim Ribbon (eeks!! This is RETIRED!! How did I miss THAT??), Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Bitty Butterfly Punch, Sewing Machine SEE how PRETTY all the images in this set are???? I {{{HEART}}} them all!! Click on the "Next Blog" to check out what Tanya Boser has to dazzle us with, and the "Previous Blog" to see Cindy Beach's brilliance!!

What I like about Kinda Eclectic stamp set is there is nothing you can do to mess up a card. I randomly stamped the images using Hello Honey, Tangelo Twist, Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss inks. Flower is from Beautiful Bunch. Love the Shabby Chic look. Just a fun set to stamp with. Stamping trails Karen
Whew..finally back with another Display Board Sample with my favorite stamp set EVER...Kinda Eclectic. Seriously, the possibilities with this stamp set are endless! I kept this one really clean and simple... Supplies Used: Paper ~ Whisper White Ink ~ Coastal Cabana, Pistachio Pudding, Hello Honey, StazOn Stamp Set ~ Kinda Eclectic, Work of Art I'm thankful I made an extra one of this card...I will be hand delivering this to my good friend Amy, who filled my shoes as a mommy to one of my boys yesterday. My hubby and 3 boys set off on a long weekend get away yesterday, which I will surprise them by joining them tomorrow :-). They caravanned with some of the other families that are going and they all stopped for lunch in Hood River. After spending nearly 4 hours in the truck, the boys were anxious to get out and were being boys, horsing around and chasing each other. Well, Aidan wasn't watching where he was going and ran smack into a pole. Getting a picture like this when you are away from your babies is not fun... My hubby reassured me numerous times that he was ok and that it really looked worse than it really was. Being that my hubby is a paramedic, I knew my boy was in good hands, but it was not easy as a mom to not be there for my baby when he was hurting :-( My sweet friend Amy texted me later to let me know the swelling had gone way down and that he was totally fine. Thank you Amy for keeping an eye on him and keeping me updated! Needless to say, our family pictures for next week have been put on hold...boys! I'm just happy he is ok and everyone is having fun! I can't wait to meet up with all of them tomorrow! Wishing you all a fabulous weekend! Happy Stamping!

One of the stamp sets we got for free at Convention was a new one called "Kinda Eclectic". And I think its going to be one of my favourites this year. In particular I love the large sun-type image… I think it looks great in the background and I like the various images collaged together. Very effective, for not a lot of effort. I've been playing with it a bit this week and it just seems to work, no matter what I do with it :-) I used some new DSP on this card too ("Flashback"), and you can see 3 out of the 5 new Incolors on this one as well. The colours I used are Hello Honey, Blackberry Bliss, and Mossy Meadow. (And there's a bit of Crumb Cake thrown in too). The ribbon is also new.. the Stitched satin ribbon in Hello Honey :-) Its a simple card.. but I like how it came together….
