Hello! Happy Wednesday! Hope you are having a great week! The boys and I are enjoying another week together! We've had lots of fun and enjoyed each other's company! They started their summer Project Life albums! Caleb took to it right away and loved using the journalling cards and some stamps! How I love that Stampin' Up and Project Life have teamed up together!!!! I apologize for my complete lack of cards lately. Having the boys home all the time means zero time for card making during the day and generally complete exhaustion by the time I get them to bed! Today we have a great new sketch at Freshly Made Sketches from the incredibly creative Amy O'Neill. Her cards are so beautiful! I love scrolling through her blog and drooling! At first this sketch had me sweating! I saw that flower and what I really saw was a big ol' circle! I started to stress but I love the Kinda Eclectic stamp set and knew that I really wanted to use it on this card. My dear friend Jenn graciously provided her swimming pool for us to use for our lessons a few days this week as the pool we were slotted to use has a broken heater and is freezing cold! I wanted to have a card to thank her for coming to our rescue! The "You Made My Day" stamp in the "And Many More" stamp set was perfect for this card! I decided to emboss that and the butterflies in gold! I threw on some sequins and voila! Supplies: Cardstock: Whisper White, Blackblerry Bliss Stamps: Kinda Eclectic, And Many More Ink: Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey, Versamark Other: Gold Embossing Powder, Vellum, Gold Sequins, Basic Pearls Thanks so much for stopping by! Please hop on over to the Freshly Made Sketches blog to have a peek at the beautiful cards the Design Team has created for you! We can't wait to see what you come up with! Have a fabulous day! Jen

Hey blog friends!...Today I'm sharing a simple one layer (almost) card, using the Kinda Eclectic set and some of the lovely flower sets from Stampin Up called Flower Shop and Petite Petals. I'm having a bit of a pastels phase and Soft Sky is a current fave. I paired that with Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush on Naturals White cardstock and l think it's a pretty combination. The fact that most of the details are punched, makes it very quick to create....My kinda card..:0) I didn't capture all of the inside details, but you get the idea. "Thanks for stopping by" All supplies used are Stampin Up!
I really love the look of the Typeset dsp painted with a layer of gesso. Gesso can be found in the art supply section of your craft store. Now I’m no expert on this, but I think it’s …
Another retired set that will be leaving us very soon is ‘Kinda Eclectic’. I am a little sad about this one. I must say I haven’t used it too much recently but I did use it a lo…
How about another quick share using the oh so pretty Kinda Eclectic stamp set? This was another card I created for Convention last year and I realized I hadn’t shared it yet.It was one of tho…
I'm loving playing with my new stamp set "Kinda Eclectic". It has lots of fabulous pieces to make a card …
So, how many of you are in LOVE with the new Kinda Eclectic stamp set found on page 164 of Stampin' Up!'s Annual catalog? This was one of the stamp sets we received for free as a Convention attendee...YEAH!! I tell ya', it was extremely difficult to refrain buying it...
Too bad I don't post projects more often, I'm getting a little behind. These were made earlier this year with new occasions stamp sets and Sale-A-Bration stamp sets too, plus a little wink of Stella. Stamps: Picture Perfect, Everything Eleanor, Kinda Eclectic & Perfect Pairings Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Blushing Bride & Very Vanilla Ink: Versa Mark, Pear Pizzazz, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral & Watermelon Wonder Extras: Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Marker, Gold Wink of Stella & Gold Metallic Baker's Twine Gold is always hard to photograph...you got to try all angles. : / First I stamped the swirl from Everything Eleanor & the leaf from Kinda Eclectic in Versa Mark, but then decided it didn't show up enough (even for background). ...so I went over the swirls with the Gold Wink of Stella. It doesn't look that great here, but it made the finished card look better. Stamps: What I Love Cardstock: Soft Sky, Brushed Silver & Very Vanilla Ink: Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Perfect Plum & Wild Wasabi Extras: Chevron Embossing Folder, Silver Embossing Powder & Silver Metallic Thread You may be able to see if you look really closely, that the Chevron embossing folder has been pressed onto the Vanilla card stock with Soft Sky ink. The Coloured spots you can see in the top corner were just added with an Aqua painter & watered down ink ( it helps if the card stock is slightly damp first). Stamps: Perfect Pairings & What I Love Cardstock: Soft Sky, Brushed Silver & Whisper White Ink: Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango & Wild Wasabi Extras: Modern Masaic Embossing Folder, Silver Embossing Powder, Silver Metallic Thread & Rhinestone Jewels It's hard to tell from the picture, but the Mosaic folder has been pressed onto the white card stock with a little soft sky ink. Stamps: Enjoy the Little Things Cardstock: Timeless Elegance dsp, Sahara Sand, Basic Black & Very Vanilla Ink: Pear Pizzazz, Cherry Cobbler, Sahara Sand & Memento Black Extras: Pearl Jewels, Labels Collection Framelits I used the markers to colour the rose on the dsp (designer series paper) and the fine tip of the Sahara Sand marker to add the line & dotted detail on the label.

So schon neugierig geworden?
