I forgot to post this! My friend Amy Jo's had a stamping workshop a few months ago. When I asked her what stamp set I should use she mentioned that she likes the Kinda Eclectic set and that it was on her wishlist. I love it too and was happy to use it. I also knew that her favorite colors are blues and browns and that she loves the sponging technique. So here's what I created: Isn't it gorgeous! Can...

Breathing a big sigh of relief this last weekend as I finished up a BIG project for the upcoming Stampin' Up convention in July. I was selected as a display stamper this year, and was super excited to get a box of goodies to put together samples with specific stamp sets that will be showcased in Salt Lake City. However, as the deadline approached and my stack of finished projects was a lot smaller than I'd hoped, I started to sweat! But it's all done and packed up and sent off now, and you will just have to wait for...
Hey blog friends!...Today I'm sharing a simple one layer (almost) card, using the Kinda Eclectic set and some of the lovely flower sets from Stampin Up called Flower Shop and Petite Petals. I'm having a bit of a pastels phase and Soft Sky is a current fave. I paired that with Pear Pizzazz, So Saffron, Crisp Cantaloupe and Strawberry Slush on Naturals White cardstock and l think it's a pretty combination. The fact that most of the details are punched, makes it very quick to create....My kinda card..:0) I didn't capture all of the inside details, but you get the idea. "Thanks for stopping by" All supplies used are Stampin Up!

Hello!! Well, we had quite a switch in the weather this week. We went from hot and sunny to warm and rainy! I'm not complaining though because the hot weather was starting to wear on me a bit and so I'm enjoying the cool down! Have a card to share that I made for several challenges: ColourQ, CAS(E) this Sketch and Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge (summer... butterflies are all over the place during the summer!). When I saw the new CTS layout my thoughts went to a couple of different sets, but in the end I settled on the new SU! set Kinda Eclectic. I stamped the sunburst image using Coastal Cabana and then over stamped it with the polka dot image using Early Espresso. The butterflies were added using Pumpkin Pie and Kiwi Kiss inks. The sentiment is from PTI's Wet Paint III set and stamped in black and Early Espresso inks. Finished things off with some clear sequins on the butterflies and the polka dots. Thanks for stopping by... Supplies: Cardstock: PTI white, Stamps: Stampin Up! and PTI; Inks: Stampin Up! and Memento; Sequins: Pretty Pink Posh clear 4 mm and 6 mm

Dorene made this lovely gift box featuring the stamp called Bloom for You and the Fun Flower Punch. She also used a sentiment from Just Sayin'. Today's card was actually a CASE of a card that I fell in love with, but can't for the life of me remember where I saw it. (If the card was yours, thank you for the beautiful inspiration!) I loved this card so much that I decided to make it into a set of 4. It was honestly very easy to create and it only took the one stamp set. The only thing that took a little time was cutting out all of the butterflies. (I don't have the punches yet, but they are on my wish list!) Stamps: Kinda Eclectic Ink: Crumb Cake, Basic Black Paper: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Whisper White Accents: Pearls

Demonstrator and would like to learn more about SUDSOL or get a free trial, click on the link to the right of my blog to check it out. Today I'm showcasing some of our new stamp sets and products. When I first saw this Boys Will Be Boys stamp set, this is the card I pictured in my mind. I love how the Gorgeous Grunge set makes a cammo background with only 2 colors of ink and the image lets me color a bit with our new Blendabilities Markers - woohoo!!! I used the Old Olive and Skin Tone Assortment for my parachute army guy. The Lovely As A Tree set is an oldie, but a goody. Those tree tops give it just the right umph! Supplies used: Boys Will Be Boys, Gorgeous Grunge & Lovely As A Tree stamp sets Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso & Whisper White card stock Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso & Memento Ink Mossy Meadow 3/8" Stitched Satin Ribbon, Old Olive & Skin Tone Assortment Blendabilities My next card uses the Kinda Eclectic stamp set. This one struck me as Art Deco, so I used silver and black for my color theme (I'm not really a gold girl, but it would look striking in gold and black too). Kinda Eclectic is one of my favorite top 10 new stamp sets. The dots on the bottom of the card were inked in Basic Gray and stamped off once for that silver tone. I also used Silver EP for the starburst and butterfly. The tag piece uses the Scallop Tag Topper Punch with the White CS cuts at 3-5/8" x 1-1/8" and the Black CS cut at 3-3/4" x 1-1/4" and both ends centered in the punch for a smaller, layered tag. I just added a bit of Black StazOn ink on the pearls for a little more pop. Supplies used: Kinda Eclectic stamp set Basic Black, Whisper White card stock and Silver Foil Sheets VersaMark, Basic Gray & Black StazOn ink, Pearl Basic Jewels Scallop Tag Topper Punch, Elegant Butterfly Punch, 1/8" Silver Ribbon, Silver EP & Heat Tool My 3rd project is a CASE of my card just above this. I just wanted to show how you can take almost the same card, change out the colors and move it around a bit and get a whole new look. This card using the same CS measurements, but different colors and a bit of a change in the layout. I used both butterfly images in the stamp set for this one. Supplies used: Kinda Eclectic stamp set Daffodil Delight, Basic Gray & Whisper White card stock Basic Gray and Daffodil Delight ink, Daffodil Delight Seam Binding Ribbon, Pearl Basic Jewels Elegant Butterfly Punch, Bitty Butterfly Punch Boys Will Be Boys Clear-Mount Stamp Set 134138 Price: $17.95 Enough of the dolls and frills, this set is totally boy.
