Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have the first half of the Zoya Sophisticates collection for Fall 2017 to share with you. This collection features a mix of neutral and rich shades that are perfect for the cooler days of autumn. Let's take a look at swatches. Presley Presley is a light smokey mauve creme. Though you can see tiny speckles in the macro shot below, they aren't obvious to the eye so I'm calling this one a creme. The formula was very pigmented and quite easy to work with. Two thin coats were needed for full coverage. The only thing to note was that this shade has a stronger polish smell than I'm used to from Zoya, so that's something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to scents. Photos show two coats of Presley with one coat of Girly Bits What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Joni Joni is a smokey plum creme. It has the same great formula as Presley. Two easy coats were needed for full coverage. This one did photograph a bit warmer that it appeared to the eye so keep that in the back of your mind while looking at swatches. Photos show two coats of Joni with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Mckenna Mckenna is a light almond with a subtle pearlescent shimmer. Another great formula with this shade. Two easy coats were needed for full coverage. As you apply this polish, there are temporarily some streaks, but they self level and blend to an even finish without extra intervention. Photos show two coats of Mckenna with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Hera Hera is a medium pink mauve creme. Another easy two coater here. Note that this shade dries a little darker on the nails than it looks in the bottle. Photos show two coats of Hera with one coats of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting. Beth Beth features a cool toned taupe base filled with strong gold pearl shimmer. Zoya describes this shade as metallic, but a pearl feels more appropriate to me. The formula was quite easy to work with. Two thin coats were needed for full coverage. Try to brush this polish on in a straight line as there is the potential for some brush streaks. Most of them go away as this polish dries, but the odd subtle one remains. Photos show two coats of Beth with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Padma Padma is a medium berry creme. This one looked very similar to Hera in the bottle, but on the nails there is a bigger difference. Padma is a bit darker and leans a little more red than Hera. This had the same great two coat formula as the other cremes in this collection. Photos show two coats of Padma with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush topcoat in daylight spectrum lighting. Conclusion I'm really loving the first half of the Sopisticates collection. The last couple Zoya collections I reviewed had inconsistent formulas but this one takes Zoya back to its roots of no fuss cremes and interesting shimmers. My personal favorites so far are Presley and Beth. You can find Zoya on https://zoya.com/ Facebook Instagram Twitter Pinterest YouTube Happy polishing, Michelle

Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have the newest installment from Zoya's Naturel collection series to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches. Barrett Barrett is a medium muted purple creme. The formula was very easy to work with taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Barrett with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Cami Cami is a medium muted pink creme. Another easy two coat formula. Photos show two coats of Cami with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Evelyn Evelyn is a pale cool-toned blush pink creme. The formula was easy to apply and took three coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Evelyn with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Marlowe Marlowe features a deep purple tinted base filled with pink and gold flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with though somewhat sheer. I feel like I couldn't get great coverage at the very tips of my nails. Photos show three coats of Marlowe with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Vivian Vivian is a medium purple creme. Another nice formula taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Vivian with one coat of Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Adeline Adeline is a medium mauve-purple creme. No issues with the formula which took two thin coats for full coverage. Hello everyone! Today I have swatches of the full Zoya Innocence Spring 2019 collection, plus the Winter Holos that were released late last year! I’m definitely loving how curated this Spring…
Zoya Jacqueline is from the spring Lovely collection, and is my new favourite nude polish from Zoya! It originally came out in one of the Peter Som fashion week collaboration trios last year, and I…
The Zoya Naturel collection features six full coverage rose toned nude polishes. Each shade has a cream formula that dries to a glossy finish even without topcoat. According to Zoya, each polish in this collection is cool toned and has an opacity level of 5/5. As soon as I saw the press release for this collection, I knew that I needed to put it on my wish list since I love cream polishes and shades of pink and purple. In fact, this is the first time that I ordered an entire collection from Zoya; usually I only want a few colours from each seasonal collection. I purchased my set from Nail Polish Canada for $50 CAD (individual colours are $9.75). I thought that this was a great price since the Zoya website is selling the set for $54 USD. The polishes came in a clear plastic box with the word naturel written on the front in light grey. The colours are organized in the box by shade from lightest to darkest. The first three colours, Chantal, Taylor, and Rue, are the lightest. In the bottle, Chantal and Taylor look almost identical; yet, as you can see from the swatches below, they are easy to tell apart when on the nails. I can’t decide which one I prefer with my skin tone. If anything disappoints me about this collection it’s the fact that two nude shades were included. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy a good my nails but better colour, but I would have preferred to see maybe just one light nude and another unique pink or purple shade. I prefer Rue to the nudes because it is more pink toned. The three darker colours are Brigitte, Odette, and Normani. These three have less in common than the first three. Brigitte appears to be a darker version of Rue, Odette is a brighter shade of pinkish purple, and Normani is more of a greyed purple. These three, along with Rue, are my favourites in the collection. Now for the swatches. Zoya Chantal: Chantal is a French vanilla cream in the nude/beige family. In the swatch above, this shade looks fairly even. However, the first two coats were rather thick and streaky. The third coat smoothed everything out. I would say that Chantal is more peach than Taylor. Zoya Taylor: Taylor is a light toffee cream in the nude/beige family. Like Chantal, Taylor required three coats to look even. This polish is much thinner than Chantal though and only needed three coats because the watery formula was too sheer after just two. Compared to Chantal, Taylor has more brown tones. Zoya Rue: Rue is a boudoir blush cream in the nude/pink family. Unlike the first two polishes in the collection, Rue has a very smooth formula. The photo above features three coats but Rue was opaque with just two. I love this shade because it’s a cozy, more sophisticated version of the baby pink polishes that were popular in the summer. Zoya Brigitte: Brigitte is a bombshell mauve cream in the nude/mauve colour family. This polish has a smooth formula that is easy to apply. The photo above shows three coats of Brigitte but only two are necessary. This classy pink toned nude is very versatile and is the perfect shade to add a hint of colour to the nails without clashing with clothing or accessories. Zoya Odette: Odette is a sultry orchid maroon cream in the nude/mauve family. This pigmented shade looks flawless with two coats even though there are three in the photo above. The formula is smooth and creamy. Compared to the previous shades, Odette is rather unique with its brighter base and rich orchid tones. It’s the perfect colour to grab when you’re looking for a true pop of colour. Zoya Normani: Normani is a sable mauve cream in the nude/mauve/purple colour family. I have tried so many of these grey/beige or “griege” shades but most of them are either too brown or too greenish-grey. Normani’s purple tones add a level of chicness that I have never encountered with this type of shade. The colour is soft and understated but also elegant and modern. Like most of the polishes in this collection, Normani’s formula is seamless and achieves opacity with just two coats. There are three coats in the photo above. Overall, I am very impressed with the Zoya Naturel collection. All of the shades are very wearable and appropriate for all seasons. While I feel that Chantal and Taylor are not as unique in colour and smooth in formula as the other shades in this collection, they are pretty colours that I will use, especially for work. Have you tried the Zoya Naturel collection? What are your thoughts on it? Which shades are your favourite?
Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have the Zoya Darling collection for spring 2021 to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches. Ella Ella is a vibrant coral creme. The formula was easy to work with. I used three coats here but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me will probably find two is enough. Photos show three coats of Ella with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Tweedy Tweedy is a bubblegum pink creme. The formula was very easy to apply and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Tweedy with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Kayleigh Kayleigh is a pale lilac purple creme. The formula was excellent and nicely pigmented, especially for such a pale shade. I used two coats for full coverage here. Photos show two coats of Kayleigh with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Mara Mara is a pink-mauve creme. Another nice pigmented formula taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Mara with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Joyce Joyce is a bright watermelon pink creme. I used three coats here, but it was really close after two. Those with a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. Photos show three coats of Joyce with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Val Val is a light sky blue creme. This was another nicely pigmented formula, taking two easy coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Val with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Ultra Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Final Thoughts My personal favorites from this release is Kayleigh. PR SAMPLES Hiya Dolls! I have the gorgeous new Sensual Collection by Zoya for Fall 2019. This collection has me so excited for Autumn. It's a great mixture of classic Fall shades with a few fabulous shimmers thrown in. All the polishes were 2 easy coats which we all have come to love and expect from Zoya! First up is Joss, a romantic rosy nude. You know I am all about shades like this, so classy. Kinsley is a decadent caramel cream. I liked this nude with my skin tone! Foster is a gorgeous hot chocolate cream with pink undertones. I will totally be rocking this shade this Fall! Briar is described as a red toned terracotta cream. This one dries darker than what shows in the bottle. Love this one so much. Margaret is described as a vivid auburn red cream. This is my kinda red! Rashida is a ruby red with fabulous shimmer running throughout. This beauty glows on your nail! Etta is described as a vampy cabernet with violet micro pearl. I feel like everyone will love Etta! Ripley is a rich boysenberry cream. I love how bright this beauty is! Michaela is a dusty purple with taupe undertones. I love dusty purples in the Fall and Winter. Vesper is a dusty grey-violet. I absolutely love Vesper, I quickly checked my collection and I do not own a dupe! Elliot is described as a blackened peacock blue cream. That is such a great description for this rich blue hue. Ashton is a black tourmaline with a scattered silver fleck. The Zoya Sensual Collection is available now on the Zoya website. What do you guys think of this Fall Collection? Have a great day loves! Zoya nail polish collections are always the most required ones and also the most interesting. Look at these colors for summertime.
Hope everyone had a good week so far. We've dealing with snow and more snow since Saturday. Today, I have the newest Zoya Collection for Spring 2014, the Natural Collection. The colors in this collection are very soft, feminine, neutral colors for a very natural look. I adored all of them, some more than others. Let's take a look at these beauties. Zoya Chantel is described as a "french, vanilla creme". Chantel is a light creamy warm almond creme. For such a light color, it has wonderful opacity and only needed two coats for full coverage. Zoya Chantel Zoya Taylor is described as a "a light toffee cream". Taylor looks like it's about one shade darker than Chantel. It's along the same color family as Chantel. Taylor also was an easy two coater. Zoya Taylor Since, Chantel and Taylor are so close in color, I have a side by side comparison here. Chantel is on the index and ring fingers and Taylor is on the middle and pinky fingers. Zoya Chantel (index, ring) and Zoya Taylor (middle, pinky) Zoya Rue is described as a "boudoir blush creme". Rue is a beautiful, dusty, yet girly, light soft rose creme. Rue applies slightly sheer at first and builds up nicely after three coats. I'd have to say that this is my FAVORITE from this collection. Zoya Rue Zoya Bridgette is described as a "bombshell mauve cream". Bridgette is a pretty rose-toned dusty mauve creme. Bridgette also needed three thin coats for full opacity. Zoya Bridgette Zoya Odette is described as a "sultry orchid maroon cream". Odette is a deep orchid toned mauve creme. Here are three thin easy coats of Odette. Zoya Odette Zoya Normani is described as a "sable mauve creme". Normani is a deep, greyed out sable mauve. Normani applied beautifully with two easy coats. Although, this color is a part of a "spring" line, Normani is an excellent color for winter, too. This is my second FAVORITE from this collection. Zoya Normani The colors from the Zoya Natural Collection for Spring 2014 is now available here for $9.00 each or $54.00 for the entire collection. Until next time...
Hey everyone, I'm back again with the second collection from Zoya for summer, called Paradise Sun. There are six shimmery shades that line up pretty well with their crème counterparts from the Island Fun collection, only instead of a green they gave us a white. On to the swatches! Press Sample First is Aphrodite, a bright summery red jelly with metallic shimmer and glass flecks. This is more sheer than the others in this collection because of the jelly base, but I was able to get it opaque in two coats. Easy application. I love glass flecks so this is a winner for me! Genesis is the white I mentioned earlier. It has metallic pearl shimmer throughout the crelly base; it's supposed to look like fine cut diamond dust. It is very pretty but unfortunately the formula was not good. It's streaky, hard to even out on the nail and it doesn't self level very well. I used three coats. I love the name of this polish, Isa, because it's my oldest sister's nickname and she loves purple! (I'm pronouncing it EE-sa) It's on the blurple side of purple, with a bit of a frost and metallic shimmer that flashes blue. This is two coats, great formula. Mae is a warm, bright magenta with metallic silver shimmer flecks. This is definitely cute, very Barbie-like. This is on the thinner side, but was opaque in two coats. Next is Oceane, a slightly frosty sea blue turquoise with metallic shimmer. This is heavy on the metallic, so it can kind of seize on to itself and look chunky if you don't allow it time to try in between coats. I used two here. I recommend a good base coat, maybe two coats of it, to prevent staining. And last is Selene, a greeny teal metallic with silver and blue shimmer. This is very close to Zoya Giovanna from their Fall 2013 collection, but with more of a shimmer frost finish than straight metallic. It has the same finish and formula as Oceane, so be sure to wait a while between coats and use a good base coat. These are available for purchase at Zoya's website for $9 each. In general I think I prefer crèmes to metallics, but I do like a lot of these colors. The only dud for me was Genesis. It's kind of odd to see jewel tones for this season, but hey, I'm all for stepping outside of the color box! What do you think of these shades? ❤ Kellie The products mentioned were provided for an honest review.
Press Sample Hello readers, Today I the new Zoya Innocence Collection for Spring 2019 to share with you. This release features a mix of soft pastels and richer shades to get you out of winter and into spring. Let's take a look at swatches. Agnes Agnes is a pale cool toned blush creme. The formula was easy to work with though I did have some minor issues with self leveling. A coat of top coat took care of that no problem though so I just recommend you use top coat with this shade. Photos show two coats of Agnes with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Aire Aire is a deep periwinkle blue creme. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Aire with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Birch Birch is a very pale muted purple creme. The formula was excellent and took two easy thin coats for full coverage; especially impressive for such a light colour. Photos show two coats of Birch with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Evette Evette is a medium warm toned purple creme. Another great formula taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Evette with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Fern Fern is a muted sage green with a soft gold shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Fern with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Theo Theo features a sheer grey base filled with silver flecked shimmer, small black glitters and small white shard glitters. The formula was relatively easy to work with though I did have to nudge the occasional white shard around. I used two coats here for full coverage. This formula dries down with a fair bit of texture. One coat take care of most of the bumps out but if you want a perfectly smooth finish you'll likely want to add a second. Photos show two coats of Theo with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Final Thoughts I think this is a pretty solid release with Birch and Agnes as my personal favorites. The cremes all had excellent formulas and though Theo isn't my personal favorite, I'm glad to see Zoya mixing in a new finish along with the classics. The Innocence Collection is available now. You can find Zoya on https://zoya.com/ Facebook Instagram Twitter Pinterest YouTube Happy polishing, Michelle
Hi guys, welcome to Sunday. I did say that I would have comparisons and a video of the OPI Nordic Collection up today. Well one of those got accomplished. I got so involved in making the video happen that I went to write my comparison post and realized all of those photos were unedited. Whoop whoop! So, the video will go up today and comparisons will go up tomorrow. Here is the video version of my thoughts on the OPI Nordic collection. Also, I finally figured out how to insert swatch photos, yay!!!
Today I have seven polishes from the new Zoya Sensual Collection for Fall 2019, and I hope these help you decide if you need any of these, or if you think you have a polish that is too similar to warrant a close dupe. That being said, I do love all of these Zoya polishes so if your heart desires it -- go for it!
Zoya 2014 Transitional Collection: Naturel Wednesday, December 11, 2013 Good Evening! Today I have swatches of the brand new Zoya Naturel Collection. Six shades that echo the nuances of soft mauves and creamy nudes and everything in between. I always love the clean, soft hues of the Transitional colors at the start of every year, a nice break between the bright festive holidays and the warmth of the spring season. Odette. Three coats. A berry medium mauve. Chantal. Three coats. A nude creme, slightly peachy undertones. Normani. Three coats. A medium dusty taupe tinged with purple. The color of a lightly bruised mushroom. Rue. Three coats. The faintest faded blush creme, dusty. Brigitte. Three coats. A more lively mauve creme. Taylor. Three coats. A nude creme with sandy beige undertones. Cooler than Chantal. I thought a side by side comparison would be much more helpful so that you can seen how the colors differ. The formulas were good. Thin but smooth. The only one that bothered me a bit was Chantal, it really wanted to pool and was extremely slow drying. I recommend waiting a few minutes between coats and another good five minutes before top coat (even with a quick dry one). My favorite shades were Taylor and Rue, they are so beautiful in their simplicity. The Zoya Naturel Collection will be available on January 1st, 2014. Each bottle is 5-free and $9. Nail Lacquers:: Kelly, Stacy, Burke Less Wicked, More Wonderful Zoya Wonderful Collection ($36.00 for all 6, or $7 each) is second of two fall collections
Hi there friends! I know it's been a little longer than I'd like since I've blogged, but this week was c-razy. My computer was being a total beezy and my cuticles are all cut to hell from filing at work :( Anyway, here is a little blast from the past, Zoya's Smoke & Mirrors. These came out last year for the Fall 2011 season. I got them right around the time I went on my unplanned hiatus and never got around to posting them. Here they are in all their glory! The Smoke collection starts off with Anja, a rich, deep, vampy red-toned wine purple. I absolutely love vampy colors and this is nice and dark and sexy. This is two coats. Next is Jana, a medium nude putty creme with grey, mauve and purple tones. Very complex for a crème, as it tends to be a kind of chameleon, changing in different lights. I love the whole grunge purple thing that this has going on. Three coats. Here is Codie, speaking of vamps, this baby has sexiness in spades! This is a very dark blackened espresso brown. Just dark enough without being black. This is two coats. I should do a comparison between this and RBL Fortissimo... This is Petra, awesome name, reminds me of Kylie Minogue's character in Bio Dome (90's pop culture anyone?). Another greige purple, this one is darker and more moody. This is two coats. Dree is a light, dusty drab olive green with yellow tones and a touch of grey smoke. I was sure I would love this when I saw initially saw promo images for the collection and it was no disappointment when I saw it in person. Ugly pretty for sure. Two coats here. Last in the Smoke collection is Cynthia, a smoky, blackened peacock teal with soft warm undertones. This one has almost imperceptable teal shimmer to it, interesting. I had trouble with the application on this, it was incredibly thick and I got bubbles every time I tried to do a mani with it. Pity because it's gorgeous. This is three coats. Now for the Mirrors collection, first up is Marina. One of my very favorite female names. This is a super beautiful slate blue silvery grey with a dusty metallic finish. I love how it's frosty but not too frosty so it becomes really brushstrokey, it dries very soft. This is two coats. Here is Neeka, a lovely smokey amethyst purple with subtle pink duochrome shimmer and gold glitter speckles. I love this, very interesting and unique. I adore how the glitter isn't terribly sparkly, just scattered and makes the polish look very deep. Tao is a light smoke grey with blue undertones and a muted, softened metallic finish. This gal is along the same lines as Marina, very metallic but not really frosty which is lovely. This is a very sophisticated and classy color. Two coats. OOOH. Jem is a drop dead gorgeous color, you NEED it. She's a dark red-toned purple base with metallic dark pink highlights and subtle gold duochrome flecks. This would be a sister polish to Valerie from Fire & Ice, both beautiful but this is more my style. Uber velvety texture and sparkle for days! Two coats. Nimue is another frosty "mirror". This time done in a smoky muted purple with blue and mauve tones. This is just as pretty as the other two frosts, la la love. This is two coats. I wasn't sure Yara was even a name, but found out it's a pretty popular Brazillian and Arabic name. It was actually the name of one of the drag queen contestants on RuPaul's Drag Race season 3, which I'm addicted to. I watch the seasons over and over again! Anyway, back to the polish. This is another super unique lacquer, same type of finish as Neeka, a medium smoky olive drab with a dash of gold glitter. Same speckled look, reminds me of a dinosaur egg! You can get these on www.zoya.com for $8 each. Do you have any of the Smoke & Mirrors colors? I realize these are much more suited to fall and winter than the middle of the summer, but hey, everyone needs a break from neons once in a while ;) Products provided for review.
Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have the Zoya Sensual Collection for Fall 2019 to share with you. This collection is predominantly cremes with a few shimmers in the mix. Let's take a look at swatches. Joss Joss is a light pink nude creme. The formula was nicely pigmented and easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Joss with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Kinsley Kinsley is a medium rosy taupe creme. The formula was super pigmented and only took one coat for full coverage. Photos show one coat of Kinsley with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Foster Foster is a milk chocolate brown creme. The formula on this one was a bit finicky and patchy. I used two coats here for full coverage but I did have to touch up a few sheer spots. Photos show two coats of Foster with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Briar Briar is a warm petal pink creme. The formula was nice to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Briar with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Margaret Margaret is a strawberry red creme. Another great two coat formula. Photos show two coats of Margaret with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Rashida Rashida is a ruby red metallic shimmer. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Rashida with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Etta Etta is an aubergine metallic shimmer. Same easy two coat formula as the majority of this collection. Photos show two coats of Etta with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Ripley Ripley is a warm berry purple creme. I used two coats here for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Ripley with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Michaela Michaela is a deep plum purple creme. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. I did find that it dried down noticeable darker than it looks in the bottle though. Photos show two coats of Michaela with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Vesper Vesper is a deep blue-toned purple creme. Another pigmented two coat formula here. Photos show two coats of Vesper with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Elliot Elliot is a deep sapphire blue creme. The formula was super pigmented and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Elliot with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Ashton Ashton features a black base filled with tiny silver flecks. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Ashton with one coat of Zoya Naked Manicure Glossy Seal top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Final Thoughts My personal favorites from this release are Vesper, Elliot and Ashton. The Zoya Sensual Collection is available now. *Press Sample* Today I have the Zoya Naturel Satin Collection to swatch for you! I am so excited for this collection. I love the Zoya Matte Velvet polishes so I was really interested to see if these had a similar formula. Zoya describes these polishes as "transition" colors on their website, which I think is perfect. The Naturel Satin polishes are a great way to transition from Winter to Spring nail colors. They all feature Zoya's new "Satin" finish which is described as a hybrid of matte and glossy polishes and is not intended to be worn with a top coat. I thought some of you might wonder what they would look like with top coat, so the first two pictures in each set do not have top coat but the third picture does. Check out what I think of all six colors after the jump! L-R: Sage, Tove, Brittany, Rowan, Leah and Ana Rowan is described by Zoya as a "creamy taupe suede creme." This is the darkest shade in the collection. I think it is a really nice neutral color, perfect for anyone. I really liked this color on me. It isn't something I would normally gravitate to, but I thought it looked really chic. Leah is described as "a lavender tinged taupe creme." It is definitely not an in your face purple, but you can see the lavender in this polish when you have it on your nails. This is a really pretty, delicate shade. One of my favorites in this collection. Ana is described as "a light toasted almond creme." Ana is the lightest polish in the collection. I could see this color as a really nice base for nail art. This one appeared to have streaks when I applied it but as it dried the streaks disappeared. It was like magic! Brittany is described as "a rose mauve creme." This is a perfect feminine, delicate color. I love this one with top coat. I sometimes have a hard time finding very light pinks with a good formula and this polish fills in that gap for me. Sage is described as "a mossy sage green creme." This one is just what the name says. A sage green. Simple, delicate and beautiful. My favorite out of the collection. I love a good green nail polish and this one is no exception. This one did not appear to dry quite as matte as the other ones did, so I'll be interested to see when I try it again if I get the same results. Last but not least we have Tove. Tove is described as "a misty slate grey creme." I actually think this one leans a little to the blue side of grey. This is another favorite of mine. I think Brittany, Sage and Tove would look so pretty together. I love this collection. I normally go more for brighter colors with some shimmer or glitter, but these are so pretty. I think the whole collection is filled with delicate, feminine colors that are really perfect for this "transition" period between Winter and Spring. I also think all of these colors would be really appropriate for the workplace. They have just enough color and none of them are loud or too bright. I used two coats on all of my swatches. The formula was excellent. It dried quickly and was smooth to apply. The satin finish is different than anything I've ever tried before. I really like it and I would be interested to see what it looks like with brighter shades. The Naturel Satin collection is available now on Zoya.com, and at top salons, spas and select Ulta locations. They retail for $9 per polish. I would love to hear which colors are your favorites or which ones you picked up from this collection in the comments below! *These polishes were provided by Zoya for review. I'm not really sure what made me spontaneously buy the Peter Som collection from Zoya during NYFW (probably the fact that it was LE and had free shipping), but I'm glad I did! Zoya - Audrey Audrey is a pale, sheer pink jelly that has a nice glossy finish. This was the one I was most excited about because of its "revolutionary magical gel look." And the finish IS very nice, but the color is a bit uneven on its own. Not really streaky, but just more sheer in some spots and more opaque in others. Very light and feminine, and I like how it looks with three coats (shown). Zoya - Katharine My favorite of the collection. Katharine is a subdued plum/raisin jelly (it looks more eggplant in the bottle though) that is quite sheer on the first two coats, but builds up into a nice squishy jelly finish. For this swatch I used three thin coats, but I think it looked a little better the night before when I tried it with slightly thicker coats. Either way, it looks more even in person than in the pictures. I love that this is a more dusty/greyed shade of red purple. So chic and juicy. Zoya - Evvie Evvie is a very opaque dark sage grey creme. The only creme in the collection, it is completely opaque in two easy, thin coats. Again, very chic with a little bit of edge. Zoya really hits it home with their greens and this is no exception. I think it is also neutral enough to complement a variety of skin tones from cool to warm. Simple, but quite flattering. Overall I'm quite impressed with this whole set. All of the shades are nice, and Audrey is so unique! Unfortunately, the set was limited edition for NYFW and is currently sold out, but I've heard rumors of these colors making it into the Zoya core line this fall or so.
Self-purchased Zoya Zanna is a mauvey-pink creme that can work well as a nude polish. I used 3 coats, but I could maybe have gotten away with only 2 if I had been more careful. The formula was okay; it was a bit thin, but manageable. I'm disappointed that it wasn't pinky-brown like in some swatches I saw. Zanna is a pretty color, but it wasn't what I was looking for and looks weird on me. It dried shiny and quickly. Unfortunately, I can't remember whether or not I used top coat. Thanks for looking! See you on the other side of the day! Michelle
