Here's the third card I made with the Way to Goat stamp set at Stamp Camp. I used the same colourway again - Soft Sea Foam, Grey Granite and a touch of copper. I also used vellum again - this time to tie all the elements together....I love the softness it brings. I used the Stitched Shapes Circle die to frame this cute guy and coloured him in with my Blends. I love the slightly sheepish (goat-ish?) look on his face. He's definitely guilty! Who doesn't love animals?!?! Well the annual catalog has plenty of them. And this cute GOAT set is one of my favorites. WHY does it become a favorite? I love stamp sets with images and coordinating fun sayings! The first card is just a THICK white card base. I stamped directly on the card base in Black Staz On. Then added color using the WaterColor Pencils Assortment 2. I love the hues in this package...not your everyday basic colors. I only used 3: Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, and Balmy Blue. To "spread" the color, I used blender pens. They are a clear wet marker type utensil. Amazing! Now let's take this simple card and step it up a little bit. We're going to add some layers and an embellishment. We are using the same coloring tools. I added a black layer and a colored card base. Also..a little bling--- the Artistry Blooms Sequins---which are self adhesive...love that! Dimensions for Cardstock: card base 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, black mat 5 1/8 x 3 7/8, white 5 x 3 3/4, granny apple green, 3/4 x 3 3/4 Lastly, we take this and ADD MORE! In the Advanced version, I added an embossing folder, die cut images, dimensionals, and "nicer" embellishments. To add a little more contrast to the black, the embossing folder was just a subtle Textile Texture to not make it stand out too much. Our focal point, Mr. Goat, was stamped on a die cut rectangle and the saying as well. Love these dies...the Stitched Rectangle Dies are a must!! Welcome back to another Inkin’ Krew blog hop! Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products. This month we are all creating projects with a “celebrate summer” theme and I’

Creating with this whimsy Stampin' Up! Way to Goat stamp set was so much fun! They make me smile every time I look at these adorable goats. I also used the Field of Flowers Bundle to create a happy environment for my goat! I used sponge brayers with Pear Pizzazz ink for the field and Balmy Blue ink for the sky. The larger of the two sentiment pieces, I also used my brayer with Pear Pizzazz ink. I stamped the Field of Flowers Grass and stems with Pear Pizzaz, stamped the flowers on a scrap of Whisper White with the new Magenta Madness ink and punched those out with the Confetti Flowers Border punch. (This is part of the Field of Flowers Bundle) and adhered half the flowers with glue and the other half with dimensionals. Both sentiment shapes were made with the new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch. My goat was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and fussy cut out. I highlighted some of the areas with the light Grey Granite Stampin Blends marker, and then stamped the grass over her hoofs and adhered her with dimensionals to make her pop out a bit. 🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐 Then for a more masculine Way to Goat card I chose two of the new In Colors for 2020-2022, Cinnamon Cider and Misty Moonlight. I knew I wanted to create some chomp marks on this card - so I looked for something small with some sort of jagged edges - and came up with a small flower die from the Budding Blooms Dies - I think it makes a pretty nice bite mark! Again - I stamped my darling goat on Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut him out and gave it just a bit of shading with the light Grey Granite Stampin' Blends. I had some more fun with the inside of this card as well! Does that goat look guilty ?!?! Imagine how much more fun you could have with this stamp set!! Hello again and Happy Sunday! Here is my other card I made for the sketch challenge at SUNDAY STAMPS blog. I loved the sketch so much I couldn't make up my mind which card I would use for the DT inspiration so, I am entering this one in the gallery and playing along with you! I hope you join in, it is really a great sketch by Heidi. See sketch below... And here is my card... LOVE the puny sentiment! And being a Goat owner, I couldn't resist picking this set up! I have 2 males but I added flowers to make this a Nanny goat. The butterfly jewels add a sweet touch too... I water-colored my little friend with an Aqua painter in a spotted gray pattern. The stamped layer has been matted on night of navy card stock, which is then adhered to a white card base. The inside of the card has also been decorated with an image and sentiment. The card comes with a matching envelope, all sealed in a cello bag. The card measures 10.5 x 14.9 cm.
