Welcome back to another Monday Montage Blog Hop! I had some fun playing with the To Market suite for today's hop. I'll admit, at first glance, this was not a suite I thought I would get, but I'm so happy I did! The stamps, the dies, the DSP...it's all so good! All of veggies in the basket are cut from DSP...many with the coordinating Market Goodness dies. The basket, onion and pepper were the only items that needed to be fussy cut. I randomly stamped veggies on a Pecan Pie card base and added a pop of Pumpkin Pie from the DSP. The sentiment was heat embossed on Blackberry Bliss. I love how all of the colors work so well together! Next up are all of the stamped veggies...I LOVE them! These were all super easy to stamp, then cut out with the coordinating dies. The only fussy cutting required was for the adorable tote. It feels like I'm at our local farmers market! Have you had the chance to play with this new suite yet? If you haven't, add it to your collection soon. You won't regret it! Happy Stamping! Next up is my friend Charlet. You're going to love what she has to share with us! Products Used:

Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous day! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Michelle Strazds's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing the colours from the To Market DSP - Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie, and Real Red. Blackberry Bliss Garden Green Pecan Pie Pumpkin Pie Real Red I've not got this DSP only because the DSP/To Market Suite hasn't caught my eye yet. But looking at the DSP now while writing this post I'm really loving the plaid/tartan and woodgrain pattern in the DSP. Might have to add this to my cart while there is still the DSP sale till the August 31st. Got to love 15% off. While the DSP has 5 gorgeous Stampin' Up! colours in it I've only used four of the colours today for my card for you today - Blackberry Bliss, Garden Green, Pecan Pie, and Real Red. These are colours that I don't use much. I'm a Pretty in Pink, Summer Splash kind of gal so it was nice to change things up a bit and be challenged with colours I don't normally use. I've used the Labeled with Love Punch Bundle for a layered birthday card. This bundle either comes as a Punch Bundle or Die Bundle to cut the label out. I chose the punch. I find the punches quick and easy and I'm sometimes a lazy crafter and can't be bothered to get up and die cut sometimes (Ha!) so the punch enables me in my lazyness - He, He. For something like labels its punches all the way! What do you prefer punches or dies? I love the versatility of the this set with the many different images for layered/two-step stamping. I've stamped a few of the images and then fussy cut them for a pretty layered card. I used Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green for the flowers and Real Red for the butterflies. In addition to the stamped images I've added the die cut leaves from the Country Flowers Dies. These just add that extra depth and layering to the card. I then added the Black & Vanilla Ribbon, the Punched embossed label, the stamped sentiment and some Iridescent Pearls to finish off the card. I love the pop of these colours against the white and really should try and use them some more. I hope that I've inspired you with my CASE of the colours from the To Market DSP. There are some amazing creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop for the fabulous ideas using these gorgeous colours. Next up on the hop is Peta Stephen with her fantastic project. Today's card uses the current Blackberry Bliss card stock. It was an In-Color that retired and SU brought it back in June. They didn't bring back the DSP but I have to use it up so I thought it went perfectly on the card stock. The sentiment is from the retired Rose Wonder stamp set and the frame is from the retired Lantern Builder Framelits Dies. I started with card stock that was cut to 5 1/2" x 8". I scored it on the long side at 2", 3", 5" and 6". You fold the first score line in, like a valley. The second score line is folded out like a mountain...same for third score line. The last score line is folded inward like a valley. The DSP is cut 1/8" smaller lengthwise and width wise. It folds up flat to mail in an A2 envelope. Today was a doctor filled day again and I thank you for taking the time to stop by.
Hi! Welcome to this week's CASE-ing the Catty Blog Hop! Welcome from Elizabeth's blog! This week the Blog Hop challenge is all about CASE-ing a project from the Artistic Expression section (pages 111 - 134 ) of the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up! Catalogue. CASE stands for Copy and Share Everything. This whole blog hop is about using the current Stampin' Up! Catalogues to help you create. Sometimes crafters need a springboard to just get started and the catalogues are certainly a demonstrator or customer's best resource. I really found it hard to choose a project to CASE. This section of the catalogue is bursting with beautiful inspiration. I managed to narrow it down to this card that uses the Farmers Market DSP. I used a Blackberry Bliss base and stamped it with the Hardwood stamp with Blackberry Bliss ink...you probably can't see it very well in the photo but it is there. I wanted to echo the hardwood background (which is DSP) from the original card. I layered a metallic foil doily, some burlap ribbon and some Crumb Cake satin ribbon under my greeting. If the greeting looks a bit familiar, it's because it is a scrap practice piece from this card. :) I finished it off with a gold button (vintage SU) and tied some of the trimmed burlap though that. Here's my inspiration.... Click below to go to Tricia's blog.... I hope you like my card. If you have been inspired by it and would like to support my creative business, all the supplies may be found by clicking through the links below which will take you to my store. The 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue is out NOW so if you would like to know how to get your free copy, just send me an email. :) Alternatively, you may download the catalogue here!
