I had so much fun creating these gatefold fun fold cards by repurposing pieces from the August Time For Cake Paper Pumpkin Card Kit! I couldn’t resist using the beautiful printed patterns inside the envelopes as backgrounds for my cards. To add a personal touch, I colored the Pretty in Pink ribbon with Moody Mauve Stampin’ Blends Markers to match the Moody Mauve card base. I made this fun card for this week’s sketch challenge using the More Than Autumn Bundle from the new Mini Catalog. Autumn is my favorite season and I love those apple cider doughnuts from local farms. They smell so good you can’t pass them by.
Wisterias hold a special place in my heart. I 'inherited' a wisteria when we moved into this house 24 years ago. It's one of the only remaining original plants in my garden, I've planted almost everything else in the garden since then. But the wisteria is gorgeous, and FUN FACT, it blooms every year for our son's birthday in late March!! When I saw the Wisteria Wishes bundle in the new Stampin' UP! catalog, I knew right away it would be on my first order AND I knew exactly what I was going to do.... die cut the flowers

This post will be photo heavy and I hope it will offer some inspiration to you. Scroll down for the show and tell video sharing some teaching tips and a couple more of the samples I made. I am REALLY excited that we got to choose punch or dies with two of the stamp sets (spoiler I chose punches with both!) What about you? This card made with Labelled with Love was super simple to create. I love how the Pretty in Pink and Summer Splash co-ordinate. Next we have Spotlight on Nature. We created the ver simple easel card. The use of Basic Beige is a bit washed out in this photo but see below for the ones I created for display Do you like this new colour? In theory Basic Beige sounds unexciting but I LOVE it. Zoom in to see the detail that I got using our gorgeous stamps both on the white layers and tone on tone to create the background elements. And now on to my Tune in Samples. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this fun retro stamp set and made a selection of samples using it. If you are of a certain age and from the UK, you will see I created one with a BBC test card effect!
