I have been so excited about having a play with the brand new Thoughtful Branches Bundle. It is STUNNING! Demonstrators can order it right now around the world - if you aren't a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator you can order it in August or sign up today if you can't wait. I decided that todays card was going to be based on elements of Steffi's card for the Global Design Project this week. I love the nature and natural look with Steffi's card and channeled that to make this gorgeous card using the Thoughtful Branches Bundle I used the tree thinlit and layered it in Early Espresso a few times and then added the last layer of the stamped image that I cut from the panel that I had stamped first. I then had to add the smaller pieces back in - but I think the work was worth it. Plus I love puzzles so this was very relaxing for me. So if you are a demonstrator - make sure you pre-order this set now. If you are a customer make sure it is on your wishlist for August. If you live in Australia I would love to help you if you needed assistance with Stampin' Up!® products. Did you see the Global Design Project news?? We are looking for a Guest Designer to join us during colour challenge week. Each month we are going to choose someone to join our design team! How fun. To find out more information about this you can click on the picture above or click here. Thanks for joining me today - in other news.... As demonstrators in Australia, we are extremely lucky to have a very supportive crew in the Burwood, Sydney office. Normally they only hear from us when there is something wrong and we have a problem. However, recently, our fearless leader Kylie Bertucci of the Crazy Crafters Team suggested we have a "Demonstrator Support Appreciation Week". We make them something special and just send it to them to surprise them. Kylie also organised flowers and choccies from us as well. Needless to say they were surprised and we are very popular now! lol. So this is what I made them. There is no better feeling in the world than knowing you are appreciated by somebody. I hope they liked the card. Until next time Happy Stamping (tap tap tap) Michelle x p.s. Stay tuned for a blog hop VERY SOON featuring this set!

Hello there! Yesterday I posted about the Thoughtful Branches bundle that is only available during August. I will be featuring many different cards and projects with this fantastic offering over the next 4 weeks. This card is one we have made at my Coffee and Card and Training events this week and was CASED from Jessica Winter and you can see her original post HERE. I changed a couple of things and added a watercolour background. I made a fence with the new Classic Label punch and inked round the edges to make it pop a little more. Make sure your background is definitely dry before you attempt the stamping of the grass or attaching any of the die cut pieces. If you are a local customer and would like to get your hands on the Thoughtful Branches bundle then I have a couple of little classes on a Sunday that include a Cream Tea as an extra little event this month. For more info you can find the details on Facebook HERE My August Code is now set up and available for orders of between £25 and £150 this month.

Hi there. The Stamp Review Crew are back for a bonus blog hop for the month of July. We are a group of International Stampin' Up! D...
Today, this blog hop features the EXCLUSIVE, LIMITED-TIME BUNDLE named 'Thoughtful Branches.' This group is called the Stamp Review Crew. This is a group of stamping enthusiasts - each blog hop features ONE STAMP SET, thus showing how versatile that particular set it.
Hiya! I'm back again with a few more Thoughtful Branches projects as part of my Thoughtful Branches blitz. See all the projects here. In between posts I've also gotten an update from SU. Good news - Thoughtful Branches is still in stock - yay! Bad news - It will not be returning in a future catalogue so once existing stock is sold out it's gone for good. I'm so sad about this as it's such a useful set so if you love it, you MUST get it now. Anyhoo, back to the blitz. Thoughtful Leaves Here's a simple but effective card in just 2 colours with 2 stamps. This was one of my faves. The main leaves are stamped in mint macaron - the raised ones are full strength & the others are stamped off once to give a softer look. I used the same leaf & smoky slate ink to stamp around the edge - alternately in full & half strength. The sentiment is heat embossed in silver. Thoughtful Tree 1 This card shows how you can make a tree with the trunk and leaf stamps with their coordinating dies. How clever are those SU peeps? I stamped the leaf onto the white panel, then used the smally dotty stamp to create a tiny blossomy look, then added a cut tree top, which I curved with the rounded end of my multipurpose adhesive lid on my piercing mat. A trio of birdies in rose red adds a pop of colour. The main panel is mounted on pink pirouette then popped up with dimensionals onto a rose red panel & thick white base. On the inside I stamped some bushes using the blossom/tree stamp & added a few more birdies. Do you love that two birdies are always having a chat :) Thoughtful Tree 2 This picture just show how shimmery the tree top is. I cut the top in shimmery white (my current obsession) & dropped sweet sugarplum & rich razzleberry ink over it with my aquapainter. Then I used my patented 'poking technique' normally used on single flower centres to give the piece texture & a soft distressed look. To 'poke' - place the cut piece on stampin' pierce mat (or a firm foam mouse mat) & use the rounded, non-pointy end of your SU paper piercing tool to poke each flower centre of each flower centre. You can poke from the front or back depending on which way you want the piece to curve. I poked from right side for the inside petals & wrong side around the edge so the edges curved inwards. Make sense? If not, let me know & I'll try to help. I lightly sponged the base with a sponge brayer, silver embossed the sentiment & added some ribbon. If making this one again, I'd have put the sentiment higher so the ribbon could go right across. Do you like to figure out what you do & don't like as much when a card is finished. I find this helps me work out other ideas or refine an idea for the next project. That's it for part 2 of my Thoughtful Branches project blitz. Thanks for visiting. Check out the supply list below for more info on what I used & to order your supplies. Next post, I'll share some Christmas ideas with Thoughtful Branches. Bye for now Inky wishes, D Supplies To see & order any items used in today's project, just click on the items below to see them in my Online Store. My mother-in-law's birthday follows swift on the heels of that of my sister-in-law, so it was off to my craft room to create another card....
Oh yes...another card using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set! For this card I stamped the trees with Soft Suede ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. The "leaves" are stamped in Cajun Craze, Delightful Dijon, and Elegant Eggplant. Feeling they needed a little something more I then brushed the Gold Wink of Stella over them to add a little sparkle. I mounted the Vanilla cardstock onto a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock and then to a base of Delightful Dijon cardstock. Was quite happy with this color combination. I really haven't used Delightful Dijon much and never even bought a pack of the cardstock in that color, just had the In-Color pack from when it first came out. I may have to get some as it works great for fall. Oh...and I just had to share...I got my pre-order from the holiday catalog and I am so excited!!!! The first thing I did was run a piece of paper through the new Cable Knit Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. The dimensional embossing is amazing. ...And the second thing I did was get out the Copper Foil Sheets and the Starlight Thinlits Dies and make these amazing stars. Now I just need to make some cards! The Holiday Catalog starts September 1, 2016. Happy Stampin'- DeAnn
I'm not ready for fall yet, even though it's supposed to be in the upper 80's and really humid the rest of the week. But I do love fall colors! So of course I had to make some fall cards with the Thoughtful Branches Bundle! Basically the same card with the colored layers reversed. Thoughtful Branches Photopolymer Bundle $52.00 Thoughtful Branches Photopolymer Stamp Set $27.00 Beautiful Branches Thinlits Dies $31.00 Stampin' Dimensionals $4.00 Generated by SUDSOL, Free Trial at www.sudsol.org Colors: Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Early Espresso, Pumpkin Pie, Very Vanilla I used the Baby Wipe Technique to stamp the leaves. Fold up a baby wipe and put it on or in something shallow (I used the cover from an ice cream bucket), then add drops of ink refills to make a multi-colored ink "pad": I got a little carried away using this technique! But these will be used for a special project later: This is what the baby wipe looked like after all that stamping: I put in a plastic zip bag to use again later. Eventually all the colors will run together and won't look very nice, so then it's time to throw it away and make a new one!
Card inspiration comes from surprising places sometimes, check out how I went from a pendant to Thoughtful Branches and what card you can make too!

They say, "If you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life!" I think I can safely say that applies to me! I am blessed to love what I do and I also love to share what I love! When you follow my blog, you can count on being kept up to date with fantastic products, project ideas, and special offers. I look forward to helping you unleash your creativity! I'm a simple girl. . . my style is what I like to call, "simple yet stellar". That simply means I like it to look like I fussed, but I really didn't! Almost sounds sneaky, doesn't it? If this sounds like you, we'll get along great!
Last card for this group! For this one, I decided to try making the background with an "H" block (all of Stampin' Up!'s Clear Blocks have letter names. "H" is 1 5/8 x 4 7/16"). I inked it up in Soft Sky, lightly spritzed it with water and then stamped it on my card stock. After it dried, I stamped the big tree, then masked off the blue area and stamped the little trees. The greeting is the same as yesterday's- stamped once in Soft Sky and again in Early Espresso. I think this is my favorite, and it was the easiest to do! Sometimes simpler is better!
