Keep scrolling to learn a about the prizes! This month is all about the most adorable little calendars. These would make the perfect gifts, little calendar scrapbooks and you can even use the the stamps and dies to create a card. Lets start with today's card.... To create this card, I used the Spring Meadow Background with a gray ink on a light gray card base. I die cut the spiral bound elements in a silver cardstock and created a calendar page. Using the elements from the Calendar Basics Stamp Set, I created a specific birthday day, birthday card! I added a pop of color using the flowers from the Birth Month Blooms Cutables and a pen with the Pen Pal Die. I created a quick and simple birthday calendar with the 2025 Calendar Pages - Full Page. I used the Spiral Bound Dies on the top of each page and then added the monthly bloom to each of the inside pages. To create the birthday calendar, I used a ruler and a black pen to add lines. At the top of each page, I used the "Take Note" sentiment, creating a page to record birthdays. I also used the Calendar Grid Die Stencil to add a little extra color to the pages. Scroll through to see each of the pages.... Click HERE to see the full release on July 30th! Here are the stops on today's hop.... Thanks so much for stopping by today! Today we are introducing a new collection that’s coming…
Hello and welcome, friends! I've been busy as a little bee working on all kinds of fun projects and I'm so happy to finally be able to share them with you! Today I have 3 projects to share with you using all of the beautiful new products from the These are the Days Collection from The Greetery! Don't forget to head to The Greetery Blog for the official "Meet and Greet" for all of the new products! Also, don't forget to leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs, for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to the shop! As you've probably gathered, this collection is calendar-themed which is so fun and unique! They are being released just in time to get started on all of those handmade Christmas gifts we all love to create! My first project is a 2024 floral desk calendar for my upcoming 5th grader to give to his teacher. It begins at August and ends with December. I will make her a new one for 2025 and have my son give it to her as part of her Christmas gift! I used the new Calendar Basics stamp set to create each of the calendars for the month. As you can see here, I used the circle image and "Big Day" sentiment to highlight the first of school that is approaching WAY too quickly! eek! This project is easy to put together in assembly line fashion! To begin, I stamped the grid image using the Calendar Basics stamp set and Hickory Smoke distress oxide ink on white A2 panels. I used my MISTI to make quick work of this part. Once the panels were stamped, I used the Jumbo Jar Die to cut each of the calendar months. I used the Calendar Grid stencil to add color to each of the months. I had previously stamped ALL of the Birth Month Blooms flowers so I was able to decide which color stenciling I wanted to do based on which flower would coincide with that month. Hopefully that makes sense! I tucked the flowers into the jars and secured them with liquid glue. I alternated them from one side to the other so that when they are stacked up the display would be full and beautiful. If you look at the full calendar all put together, you will see some violets popping out on the right-hand side; I added those to a blank jar panel to the back to give the calendar more symmetry and additional color . I was pleased to find some wood blocks to use as the calendar stand and you can find them HERE. They are a good price and I will be able to give calendars as gifts as needed! The cover was created using the previously released Bold Numbers Die to make the 2024. I added some flowers using the BotaniCuts: Wildflower Mix dies and the Winter Medley Die. The Greetery is also offering some pre-printed 2025 calendar pages and I used the cover as inspiration for this cover. My next project is a birthday card I just made for my daughter who celebrated her birthday on the 22nd! I just love how you can make your projects so personalized with these new products! This card features the Calendar Grid Die paired with the Spiral Bound die, (this gives you the option of creating faux spirals like I did here, or to make the holes to add the real spiral binding on an actual calendar) Birth Month Blooms, and the new One Fine Day stamp/die set. One of my favorite flowers in the collection is the Larkspur and I was pleasantly delighted to find out it is July's flower! Yay! I had already told myself I would use it no matter which month it was for! ha ha! I added in a few other month's flowers to give it variety and additional color! To give the calendar personalization, I added the 22 that was stamped using the Calendar Basics stamp set on a rectangle that was cut when I die cut the grid. I popped it into the proper space using a min foam square. I used metallic cardstock for both the spiral binding and the cute hanger at the top. My cute daughter kept leaving comments on my Instagram posts (if it was a birthday card) saying, "Can this be my birthday card?" so I was worried she would be disappointed she didn't get one that she commented on, but she LOVED this one and said she liked it best! My final project for today is a fun notecard set using the different Birth Month Blooms. I haven't mentioned before, but each of the Birth Month Blooms are compiled in quarters. There is a Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4 stamp/die set so you can buy them as you need them or for those months where loved ones have special days. I had set out at the beginning of my creative sessions by stamping all of the flowers multiple times so I would have a good variety of images to pick from as I was creating! Doing that made this project go much quicker than if I stamped them all out one by one. Here you can see a few of the different varieties with their coordinating envelopes. I have made and shown this stationery box a few times over the years, but for those who may be new, I will share the dimensions. The bottom of the box is made using a piece of cardstock measuring 8 1/2 by 10 and then score at two inches in from each side. The top is made using a piece of cardstock measuring 7 1/8 by 8 5/8 and score on each side 1 1/4 inches from the edges. Use a bone folder and cut tabs on the four sides and secure with ScorTape. As I mentioned before, this box holds nine cards, so I wasn't able to get a full year of cards. I used foam squares for each of the cards so if you made them flat, you could possibly get 12 in there. I also want to mention that the shop will also be offering some Birth Month Blooms Cutables so you can save some time using those as well. They would be perfect if you're planning on making a bunch of gifts for Christmas and you find yourself in a pinch! Just a reminder that the collection will be available for purchase tomorrow at 10 am EDT. Thanks for fluttering by! Dana Dawn Kelly (you are here) Laura Laurie Wanda

Hi there! I'm up on The Greetery Blog today for the TGIF post and I wanted to share my card here on my own blog. I used the new Pinwheels Party stencils and Pinwheel Party dies in my card along with some pretty florals from Print Shop Fresh Florals and Top Down Day stamp sets. I've had a lot of fun playing with the Pinwheel Party stencils and dies. Although this is a birthday card, they are by no means limited to only birthday themed projects. I think they make lovely backgrounds just lightly stenciled onto your cardstock. I love to have a soft background for floral cards or collage type cards. So for this card, I used the Pinwheel stencils and very lightly stenciled several different pinwheels in different colors and sizes onto the background. I speckled with a tiny bit of the same color inks. I then stenciled some more pinwheels and cut them out with the coordinating dies. I layered these onto the card with foam tape. I stamped and cut out some of the pretty little bunches of flowers from the Top Down Day stamp set and tucked those behind the pinwheels. I also added some of the flowers and greenery from the Print Shop Fresh Florals stamp set. To finish it up, I stamped the Happy from the Birthday Blooms stamp set, cut it out with the coordinating die and added it to my card with foam tape. The small birthday is also from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and added it below the happy with foam tape as well. I hope you have enjoyed my project today and I hope it will inspire you to play around with the Pinwheel Party stencils in fun and unique ways! Hugs, Kay :)

Hello and welcome, friends! I'm so excited to be here today sharing a few projects for day 1 of The Greetery Capturing Summer release! There will be two days of full reveals and then the release will be available for purchase on Wednesday, 14! I have fallen head-over-heels in love with the entire release and I know you will, too! Betsy always has a fabulous "Meet and Greet" over on The Greetery Blog where she introduces each new product with all of the details! Also, make sure to leave a comment here, and on each of the designers' blogs, for a chance to win one of two $50 gift certificates to The Greetery's shop! Up first is the fabulous new "Sitting Pretty" dies! These are all just absolutely squeal worthy, don't you think? I had the best time creating all of these fun details to put together this fun porch scene! My card also includes the new Sunset Skies stamp set so you can create different sky scenes. I chose to use the base image (stamped to look like grass) and then the clouds. I didn't want to create a sunset, but I love that you can still use the images from the Sunset Skies set for multiple uses! I know I will be reaching for these images often to use to add details to my "scene" cards! The porch portion and the rocking chair are included in the Sitting Pretty die collection and then the rug, flowers, pots, and hanging plant are included in the Sitting Pretty Accessories die set! There's even a sleepy kitten included, but I didn't use it on my card. I'm sure some of the other designers used the cat, in fact, I'm betting Wanda added a cat FOR SURE! ha ha! To begin my card, I die cut everything out of white cardstock and then used Distress Oxide inks to color all of the pieces. This is my absolute favorite way to add color to dies, especially so I can add different shading to give everything a more realistic look. I eat my breakfast on my porch every morning, so I understand the necessity of a good porch! ha ha! I added a few trees that are from the Fir and Foliage No. 1 stamp set. They just added a little bit more detail and perspective to make this porch scene come to life! I hadn't really thought about a sentiment when I first set out to create this scene, but felt confident that I would be able to sneak one in somewhere! I just love the sweet and simple "thinking of you" tucked up in the corner! The sentiment is from the Sentiment Suite: Thinking of You stamp set and is die cut using the Sentiment Suite: Basics Die. Once I had it tucked up there, I thought how cute it would be to adorn the porch with a bunch of these in different colors for either the 4th of July or a birthday card! Can you imagine the pinwheels hanging down, too? Oh, the fun we will have with these dies! I'm sincerely hoping for a few grinning Jack-O-Lanterns and cornstalks for the columns come autumntime! My second card for today uses the new Jumbo Jar Die, the Fireflies Die, Firefly Nights stamp set, and Shining Light Die! The greenery up in the corner is from a fabulous new die called "Side of Greens" that I know I will be reaching for often! It will be a perfect base to add flowers to, and so much more! This card was really fun to plan and execute, but did take some thoughtful consideration as I put each piece in place. To begin, I die cut a large panel from Linen cardstock using the Crimped Slimline Die and then I added the layers of blue Distress Oxide ink to create an evening sky! I knew I wanted the jar to be in the lower right corner on an angle, so I purposely left that area a little lighter so that the rays of light could be stamped in a white area, if that makes sense! Once that was done, I added some white paint splatter to mimic stars or fireflies that are off in the distance! Now, in hindsight, I would have stamped the rays at this point, BEFORE I added the foliage and the sentiment, but I think it turned out okay anyway. I got to work on the jar and die cut it twice; once with the center portion cut out and once with the entire solid piece. The bottom portion of the rays were stamped on the solid piece with a touch of ink blending and then I layered the outline portion over the top that had already been blended. I colored the greenery using Distress Oxide inks and then added it to the upper right corner using liquid glue. The sentiment is stamped directly onto the panel with the exception of the "Light" portion which was die cut and stamped and added using foam squares. The best part of this card are the CUTE fireflies! I had a ball creating these little cuties using vellum for the wings and oxide inks on the bodies. I dipped the tail of each firefly into the new "Glow Powder" to let them light up in the dark! I kept thinking of Little John in Disney's animated Robin Hood when he says, "Glow little fireflies, glow!" It's the scene where he's pretending to be the fortune teller and needs to crystal ball to light up! ha ha! I did toy around with the idea of sprinkling the glow powder over the white paint splatters when I was first getting started, but opted not to. I think I may need to revisit that idea! I added fireflies here and there using foam squares; some are still in the jar, while others have flown the coop and escaped from the lid that is slightly ajar! The lid was die cut using silver specialty paper for a realistic look! I couldn't resist adding some glitter here and there for a bit of midsummer magic! Don't forget to head to the other designers' blogs to see how they've used today's products! Thanks for fluttering by! Hello Stamping Friends! Today, I’m super-excited to share the July 2022 Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. This hop is hosted by Sara Levin and we share on the second Sunday of every month. Our theme for the month is “Paper Perfection” where we are showcasing all of the fabulous Designer Series Papers from the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog. Welcome, I’m so happy you are here today! When it came to picking a pack of Designer Series Paper for this blog hop, I have to admit, I had a tough time. I am a huge fan off ALL patterned paper and it is the one craft supply that I probably buy the most of. Do I always USE it? That’s a story for a different day. I would call myself more of a “curator of an extensive collection of DSP". One of my goals this year has been to actually use more, because let’s be honest, pretty paper shouldn’t be hidden in your craft room, right? After much contemplation, I decided to feature the He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper along with the coordinating He’s All That Bundle for my projects today. The main reason is that this Specialty DSP not only has those awesome patterns that I love so much, but this particular pack also has two sheets of coordinating die-cut images. Talk about card making made easy! If you are like me and often struggle to create masculine cards, this is a great suite of products. All of the measurements for my project are listed below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this blog post. My first project is a fun fold card. This fold is not super complicated but is great to showcase different patterns of DSP on a card. I added lots of additional layers, because that’s how I roll. In addition to the products in the He’s the Man Suite, I also used the Tailor Made Tags Dies. Partially because I thought they would add some fun detail to the card. Also because I bought them a while ago and haven’t used them yet. The sentiment on the card comes from the die-cuts in the DSP. So easy and I love the detail! The little star element also came from the DSP. It was so easy layer the elements together for a fun focal image! Card Measurements and Details: Early Espresso Card Base: 4-1/4” x 7-1/4”, scored at 5-1/2” Cajun Craze Cardstock (front panel): 2-7/8” x 5-3/8” He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (front panel): 2-3/4” x 5-1/4” Early Espresso Cardstock (right side): 4” x 3-3/4”, score on long side at 1/2” (this tab will tuck under the Basic White layer inside the card to create the fun fold) Cajun Craze Cardstock (right panel): 3-3/8” x 3-5/8” He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (right panel): 3-1/4” x 3-1/2” Cajun Craze Cardstock: scrap to die cut tag from Tailor Made Tags Dies Mint Macaron Cardstock: scrap to die cut two banners from All That Dies He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper: Sentiment circle and Cajun Craze star from die cut images Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim, Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4”, add a tree die cut from the He’s the Man Specialty DSP He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (inside card): 1/2” x 5-3/8” Here’s a little peek inside the card! I added in a die-cut tree from the He’s All That Specialty Designer Series Paper and left the rest blank for a handwritten note. I can’t say enough how much I enjoy the die-cut elements that come in this DSP pack. They are awesome accents and really make it easy to dress up a card in a snap! For my second project, I used three additional pattens of that awesome He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper. Since I used the Tailor Made Tags Dies on the first card, I wanted to carry them through to this project as well. I just love that dotted border on the edges of the tags! I also added some Crumb Cake ink around the edges for a little distressed detail and also added some ink “splatters” using a Dark Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends marker. Those little star accents come from the die cuts in the DSP pack. I popped them up and added Wink of Stella for added sparkle. Card Measurements and Details: Cajun Craze Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” Early Espresso Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (car pattern): 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (plaid pattern): 3-7/8” x 1-3/4” He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper (striped pattern): scrap to die cut tag from Tailor Made Tag Dies Crumb Cake Cardstock: scrap to die cut tag from Tailor Made Tag Dies, stamp image in Early Espresso ink, use sponge dauber to distress edges with Crumb Cake ink and flick some ink “splatters” using Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Early Espresso Cardstock: scrap to die cut the top of tag detail from Tailor Made Tag Dies He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper: die cut stars Early Espresso Faux Suede Trim, Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine and Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots I also have a THIRD bonus card to share with you. This card features another way to use the bundle and that awesome DSP. The color combo is Basic Black, Sahara Sand and Basic White. I also brought in the metallic embellishments and the twine…although that detail on the twine took a LONG time to position where I wanted it. I still shudder to think about the amount of time I fussed with it. Haha! If you’d like more info on this card, you can watch the video of how it came together HERE on my YouTube channel. I hope you enjoyed these projects today using the He’s All That Bundle and He’s the Man Specialty Designer Series Paper!
