I thought this month's February SU! Colour Challenge colors showcased the Gingko Stamps and Dies at their best with some Stamping Off and Small Blending Brushes. I started stamping off with the Ginkgo Stamp onto the Shimmery White Card Front which gives a soft sparkle to the whole card. I cut the details die cut in vellum and the Shimmery White. I used the Small Blending Brushes to colour the Shimmery White die cut element and you can see the shimmer through it! I added the sentiment and cut with the matching die. I finished the card with a few Pastel Pearls. Today’s friend card is another example of why I’m groovin' on the Stampin’ Up! Gingko Branch Bundle. Luscious layers and yummy colors give the card a bold and lively personality. WHAT I LOVE ! Happy Sunday, friends! Time for a fun new creative challenge over at The Paper Players! This week, Joanne is hosting our Color Challenge. There are so many possibilities with the colors this week and pastels are so perfect for the Spring season. I sure hope you will get crafty and join us over at The Paper Players. We’d love to see what YOU create with soft pastel colors! *I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post. I decided to use the beautiful Ginkgo Branch stamp set and coordinating dies for my card. This is such a lovely set and one I am happy to have in my collection. Right now, the stamps and dies are on a fantastic deal on the Last Chance List. The bundle is usually $53 (US) and right now, while supplies last, the stamp set is $9.20 and the dies are only $14.40. Both for $23.60 when you buy them individually! That’s a pretty great deal, right? My card started out with three different pastel colors and the more I started working with it, I was really feeling the Petal Pink vibe. So one by one the other colors were eliminated and this became a monochromatic pastel card. I remembered I had a brand-new pack of Rose Gold Specialty Paper and thought it would work perfectly for the big ginkgo die. The foil makes it extra fancy! I also added some Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels for a little pop of sparkle. I think of all of the products that are retiring, these make me the most sad. I use them a lot! I picked up a few extra on my last order so I can keep a few stashed away for a special occasion. I didn’t have a Petal Pink ribbon that I loved with this card, so I made my own by coloring the White Crinkled Seam Binding with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. I just love how this card came out and I hope you do as well. Card Measurements & Details: Petal Pink Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, score at 5-1/2” Basic White Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” Design A Daydream Host Exclusive Designer Series Paper: 3-7/8” x 5-1/8”, add Petal Pink around edges with a Sponge Dauber Rose Gold Specialty Paper: die-cut the large ginkgo image Petal Pink Cardstock: scrap to stamp sentiment in Soft Suede ink, then die-cut with label from Ginkgo Branch Dies Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels and White Crinkled Seam Binding (colored with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends) Basic White Cardstock (card interior): 4” x 5-1/4” Design A Daydream Host Exclusive Designer Series Paper (card interior): 3/4” x 5-1/4” Finally a peek inside the card! I added a little strip of DSP, a stamped sentiment and a smaller die-cut that I was going to use on the front but didn’t want it to go to waste. There is plenty of room to add a handwritten note to brighten someone’s day! I hope you will join us this week over at The Paper Players and share your project for our Color Challenge. We’d love to see what you come up with! You can link up your project through Noon PST on Friday April 14th, 2023. The Ginkgo Branch Bundle is very versatile and easy to work with!
The Stampin’ Up! Ginkgo Branch bundle really delivers with this simple sympathy card. The detailed design of this ginkgo branch die was what first captured my heart. The sentiments of the stamp set and long sentiment die (check out the gorgeous embossed border!) sealed the deal! WHAT I LOVE! I often include a bold

I'm loving the Ginkgo Branch Dies paired with the Fancy Flora Designer Paper, two favorites from the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog. This time I used the large Ginkgo Branch Die to cut from a
Hello and welcome. It's time to share a new Just Add Ink challenge project. This week we need to add large letters or numbers. Who doesn't love a large sentiment. I couldn't resist using my favourite Sending dies again. They're just such a lovely font and of course their size always makes a great focal point. I teamed them with the gorgeous Ginkgo Branch dies and one of the embossing folders in the new Basics 3d 3-pack. Here's how it turned out. This was one of those cards that started off with one idea and turned into another. I'd spotted a fun springboard fold card by Susan Campfield that I wanted to try. I started by converting Susan's US sizing to suit my A4 cardstock, but in the end decided not to add the clever springy bits, just the card shape. It's such a fun idea though that I'll definitely try making another springy version. Thanks so much, Susan for the great idea. This also turned out to be a fond farewell to the beautiful Mint Macaron, which is one of the colours leaving our collection this month. It's one I'm quite sad to lose as it's a really lovely shade. Have you loved it too? Of course it would look lovely in so many other colours too. Back to those gorgeous Ginkgo Leaves dies though - which are also not carrying over. See my note further below. I cut the large shape for the front, and decided to leave the cut-out pieces in place - lots of mini dimensionals holding the pieces in! The Sending word dies (letter and outline) were a perfect pairing with the delicate ginkgo. Inside I stamped a sentiment from Pansy Patch (it works really well with the swirly 'sending') cut it out with a pierced square from the Stylish Shapes dies and added some more gingham paper behind it. Another little ginkgo die cut continues the theme inside. This is how the card looks flat-ish. How lovely is the cross-hatching texture of the embossing folder too? And this is how it looks from the top. The Ginkgo Branch stamp set and dies are NOT carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue but the good news is that both the dies and stamp set are 60% off now (dies were, $63, now $25.20, and the stamps were $41, now 16.40).They're only available until 2 May, unless they sell out first. You'll find them both in my online store here. Don't order the bundle option as the discount is not on there somehow! Here's what they both look like. Beautiful huh and so useful for so many cards? So that's my 'large letter' card. I hope you found something you liked and want to try. Head to the Just Add Ink challenge blog to see all our challenge projects. You're sure to find ideas you'll love. Take a look at the full card supply list here in my Stampin' Up! store. Note that once retiring items are unavailable to order they'll disappear from the list. Thanks very much for visiting today. I really appreciate you being here (and leaving a comment too).
