Kicking off a new fun fold card series with the Theater Stage Card, also called the Slide & Reveal Card or Sliding Shadowbox. On the video class I'll share how to create this card with the Stampin' Up! Saleabration Favored Flowers Designer paper. I've also share card #2 in this series below. I turned the theater fold into a photo card for a personal touch. I made it for a friend's birthday. I used a photo of their house instead of designer paper for the background. A floating wakeboarder in front for a really a cool effect. These cards fold flat and fit into a Medium Stampin' Up! Envelope. Whether they would need more postage would depend on how many dimensionals you use.

I love to go on adventures and the new Stampin' Up Enjoy the Journey Suite fits my style perfectly. It's so nice to have a project designed around these delightful images. The mountains are from the Enjoy the Journey Designer Series Paper, and I used them to make a fun fold 3D Theater Card. What do you think? When you open it, you'll see that my hiker pops up in silhouette against the tent in the background.
The card I am sharing today, I am letting the Designer Series Paper do all the work. It makes for a beautiful card. The Designer Series Paper is a Sale-A-Bration item and is free with a…

Hello and welcome, My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'll be sharing with you two projects I created for the March Monthly Artisan Assignment using the Fragrant Flowers Bundle which was shared earlier this month (March) through Stampin' Up! socials. I wanted to share a few ideas on how I created these cards and this bundle is gorgeous to create with I just love the large flower images. The bold sentiments are perfect for a simple hello or thanks. Hope you like my shabby chic creations. Hello Card For my first card I used the emboss resist technique and watercolour for the flowers. Use Fluid Flow 100 Watercolor Paper for best results when applying lots of ink. I used a mix of colours Bermuda Bay, Shaded Spruce and Parakeet Party. I like to use the large flat brush tip from the Water Painters, have a bowl of water and paper towel to soak up excess water when needed. The detailed die images are a watercolour wash using the same colors and watercolor paper. Once dry I then die-cut them out with the Stampin' Cut Emboss Machine. The background panel is dried embossed using Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder in Crumb Cake cardstock and I applied Soft Suede ink with the Blending Brush. To create the edges, I used the blade of the Paper Snips and run along the edges of the cardstock. When it comes to creating my paper craft, I do love to add lots of layers, embellishments and twine. I always love to see if I can unravel different types of ribbon and add them to my projects. Here I've used White Baker's Twine, Natural Finish Ribbon and Champagne Rhinestones. Thanks Card For my second card I used the same techniques for the flowers I like to blend the colours together and see what I'll get. The white embossing of the flowers coordinates well with the colours I've used. I always love stitching on any dies and this stitched label die in Bermuda Bay cardstock added the perfect layer to my card. It makes the sentiment pop! I've heat embossed the sentiment using White Emboss Powder onto Crumb Cake cardstock. I added Soft Suede ink with the Blending Bruch around the edges to the Crumb Cake Cardstock panel, then with the Soft Suede Stampin' Write Marker, I flicked the brush tip against the lid to create lots of tiny splatters. It's a fun way to create splatter, but just be careful with your markers when do this trick. The white images on the panel are heat embossed using Versamark, White Emboss Powder and heat set with the Heat Tool. To finish off this card I used White Classic Matte Dots, Linen Thread and Burlap Ribbon. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my projects by leaving a comment below. Make sure you pop over onto Stampin' Up! Facebook page or Stampin' Up! Instagram page for lots of inspiration using the Fragrant Flowers Bundle. You will just need to go back a couple of weeks to view their projects. If you would like a copy of the Stampin' Up! Today's card is a very easy fun fold using Stampin' Up Fragrant Flowers Bundle and Stampin' Up Like An Animal Specialty DSP. This is a faux side step card. I started with a piece of Poppy Parade measuring 5 1/4" x 8" scored on the long side at 1", 2" and 5". I folded in accordion fashion creating 2 mountains and one valley. See above picture. I cut a piece of Evening Evergreen card stock 3" x 6" and scored at 4 1/4". I adhered Stampin' Up Perfectly Penciled DSP to the Poppy Parade card base with Stampin' Seal. I cut a piece of Stampin' Up Like An Animal Specialty DSP that fits on the Evening Evergreen card stock. I blended Petal Pink ink onto the DSP using a Stampin' Up Blending Brush. I cleaned my brush off and then blended Poppy Parade ink around the edges of the same piece. I adhered the DSP panel to the Evening Evergreen piece before adding it to the Poppy Parade card base. I adhered the Evening Evergreen to the bottom of the card base with Stampin' Seal. I the add a little bit of adhesive to the flap on the Evening Evergreen and adhered it to the back side of the Poppy Parade. I stamped 3 flowers from Stampin' Up Fragrant Flowers Stamp Set using Mementos Tuxedo Black ink on a piece of Basic White card stock. I colored each image with Stampin' Blends: Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Poppy Parade and Petal Pink. I die cut each image with the coordinating dies. I adhered the flowers on the DSP with liquid adhesive and Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped the bold sentiment with Versamark Ink on a piece of Basic Black and heat embossed it with White embossing powder. I stamped the smaller sentiment on Basic White with Mementos Tuxedo Black Ink. I die cut each sentiment with the coordinating dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. The inside is a piece of Basic White card stock with a strip of DSP to the bottom. Supplies and dimensions available at the bottom of this post.
