Modern perfection. This is how I would describe these floral dies. They are so good. The dies and flowers are big and bold, they take up the entire space of an A2 card, but they can also be used differently and mixed. I rushed to finish this video and blog post, as I leave for

Hello everyone. This is Jean Manis, and I am delighted to be on the blog with a project showcasing the Cuppa Coffee, Cuppa Tea Collection by Sharyn Sowell. I used the collection’s Cuppa Love die set to create a mixed media friendship card. Let’s take a look! To begin, I created a card base by smooshing Distress Oxide Broken China ink on Bristol paper. Once the base was dry, I stamped the sentiment. I die-cut the coffee cup, liquid shape, and accent pieces in the Cuppa Love set from manila cardstock and colored the pieces with acrylic paint. Once the die-cut pieces were dry, I glued the leaf sprigs together in a wreath shape and adhered the wreath to the card base. I glued white cardstock to the back of the liquid shape, glued the assembly to the coffee cup, and glued the cup to the wreath. I added Nuvo Crystal Drops to the center of the flowers. The flowers and hearts were adhered around the wreath. Using acrylic paints to color die-cut pieces is an easy way to incorporate mixed media into your crafting project! Spellbinders Supplies: S2-299 Cuppa Love Other Supplies: Cardstock: Ranger Manila cardstock, Canson Bristol paper; Paints: Apple Barrel acrylic paints; Stamps: My Favorite Things Coffee Break; Accents: Nuvo Crystal Drops–Gloss White; Inks: Hero Arts black dye ink, Ranger Distress Oxide Broken China; Glue: Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive Thanks for visiting!
