Lieve scrapgroetjes, Miriam Gebruikte materialen Cardstock: Whisper White, Basic Black, Real Red, Quilted Christmas Stempelset: Teeny Tiny Sentiments, Hello Friend Inkt: Memento Tuxedo Black Overig: Cat Punch, Stitched Shapes framelit dies, Black Rhinestone Jewels, Touches of Nature Elements, Curragated Elements, Black Mini Sequin Trim, Mini Pizza Box, Whisper White 3x3"Envelopes

Want to make the most of your office drawers? I'm sharing how easy it is to customize your drawers with off-the-shelf drawer organizers!
Linnen beddengoed is heel populair op het moment. Niet gek, want het reguleert de lichaamswarmte waardoor het in de zomer koel en in de winter warm is.

Hello! I will be back later today with day 3 of my holiday gift guide. But in the meantime, I wanted to share a video I did using the Studio Calico
Originally it was a sitting/dining room combo. Now it is a double craft/sewing and craft island/table room.

A few months ago, a client asked me to help organise her sewing room. She had just moved into a new house, and needed help setting up the space. In order to come up with an exciting plan for moving forward, I researched some 'real' spaces, looking for rooms that were not only beautiful, but

Good morning, all! It's my turn to share a tip with you and I’m going to do something a little different with this week’s Papertrey Ink Design Team Tips. Rather than share a cardmaking technique, I’m going to share an organizational solution that I hope you’ll find useful. I think most of you have come to notice that I love ink blending - I seem to be blending on nearly every card these days! And thanks in part to all of Papertrey’s beautiful ink colors, my blending sponges were starting to get a little unruly. So I set out to find a solution that would be cost effective, easy to establish, and effortless to keep organized. So here's the result of my search. On my workbench there sits a small wire basket. I bought it at Target ages ago and it's proven its worth over the years. The basket holds a few blending tools, an extra pack of sponges, and one of Papertrey's kraft binders (now, of course the binders went out of stock between my planning of this post and this moment, but hopefully they will be back soon - any other mini 3-ring binder should work just as well). Now, here's where the magic happens. I have five 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" pages tucked into mini page protectors inside the binder. On each page I've printed twelve circles and their corresponding color names. The colors are arranged in rainbow order and there's still a bit of space at the back under the blues and purples. I put the neutrals on their own page. This is an idea I got from Gina on the Papertrey Ink forum. I simply made a few adjustments to make it fit my needs even better. Each circle has a velcro tab in the center. I just used the pokey parts of each pair of hook and loop sets since the blending sponges are already equipped with the soft part. These are the velcro dots I bought to do this project. They can be expensive, so I picked these up online. There are 250 sets of dots (500 pieces total) in the package I bought and they're sure to last me a very long time. You could make this organizational system even more cost effective by splitting a package with a friend or two. When I designed the pages I included a gray "x" in the center of each circle. That was an easy way to know where to place my velcro circles. I pulled the colors from the Papertrey Ink website and laid out the pages so that each sponge would have an ample amount of space. I decided to use page protectors (rather than cardstock sheets that I hole punched myself or laminated pages) for a few reasons. In the first place, I happen to use these page protectors for my stamp set organization, so I already had them handy. Also, if a new color is introduced I can adjust the printed pages without having to replace the velcro on the page protectors (since the spacing will always be the same and the blending sponges are movable). And thirdly, the page protectors help protect (duh) the back of each page against ink transfer from the sponges behind it. You can see here that the greens would have left residue on the yellows page, but the page protector keeps the back of that sheet clean. I did the same thing in the front of the binder, just using an empty page protector rather than a filled one. If you had several binders you could use this for a title page, but I haven't bothered to put anything inside. This is real life, people. One binder holds five sheets (filled with sponges) comfortably. I've spread it out a bit here so it would stand up for the photo, but it closes perfectly for normal use. Also, it's a good idea not to accidentally spike your binder at the floor and bend a corner. Just throwing that out there. Don't be like me. So there you have it - my perfect ink blending solution. I use this binder almost every time I sit down to stamp. It has saved me so much time! I used to keep my sponges in small baggies thrown into that small wire basket, but whenever I wanted a particular color I'd end up searching through all of the sponges to find it. No more, friends, no more. I hope you've enjoyed this peek into my blending sponges binder. Here's a list of the supplies I used and a downloadable PDF of the pages in case you'd like to create a binder of your own! Ink Blending Sponges Pages Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Hello there, I am back today to share a new craft room tour with you. My last one was done back in March 2014 and since I have changed a few bits around since filming that video, I thought I would do another one. I love watching these videos (and I am obsessed with craft storage) so I hope you do too! For the video without the pictures/chat, please scroll down :) I have been told that my room looks bigger in photos and on camera than it actually is. My room is fairly small - 2.6m x 2m and it has the boiler in it (the room used to be a bathroom) so a whole corner of the room is taken up with that (in a cupboard). Saying that, I am incredibly lucky and grateful to have any size room. I am constantly changing how I store items, I need things stored/organised in a way that helps my creative process when crafting. The main bulk of my room (one side of it) is my two desks. These desks are pretty big and I like the depth of them. One is my workspace in terms of my computer, where I blog/study etc. The other side is my crafting side. I have a few shelves above my desk, the one on the computer side holds cables in Gorjuss tins. The ones above my craft desk hold washi tape, embossing folders and plates, colouring pencils, Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and a few storage items. Underneath my desks I have the Helmer drawer units from Ikea. These are great if you have a smaller space. They are not very wide by pretty deep. They hold a lot of my supplies - inks pads (distress and most used), tools, envelopes, adhesives, colouring mediums etc. I like to keep my main crafting desk fairly clutter free. I have a lamp from Ikea on there, I have a Daylight bulb in it and this helps when filming videos. I have my Copic Markers (plus glitter pens) in Color Cubbies from Studio 3 Solutions (sadly I believe that they are currently out of business). I also have an acrylic letter rack that holds Copic colour charts, a notebook, Martha Stewart Mini Scoring Board and a little notebook that I write down what products I have used when creating. A large portion of my desk is taken up by my tool carousel. I love this thing, it holds a ton ... scissors, glue, tape runner, bone folder, rulers, corner punches etc. I then have my Raskog, I LOVE this also! On the top shelf I have tools I reach for a lot - pens, kitchen paper, masking tape, post-it tape, stamp press, masking paper, foam tape and my swatch book (you can see this in more detail here). The middle shelf holds paper pads, and the bottom shelf holds my Cuttlebug and cutting plates. On the other side of my room/the other wall, there is a cabinet from Ikea (sadly no longer sold) that holds my stamps, dies and 8.5"x11" cardstock (you can see more on that here). There is also a drawer at the bottom where my ink pads live, as well as some sprays and stamp cleaner. I also have stackables units. These are great because you can change around the configuration of drawers. The top one holds my 12x12" paper and cardstock and the bottom one holds my embellishments. On the top of them both, I have some magazines and reference books, as well as my camera and stencil storage (you can see more on that here). I should also just mention that I do have a cupboard that is not in my craft room. This holds my larger Xyron machines, older punches, my back up supply of PTI white cardstock and some ink refills. I hope you enjoyed having a look at my craft room today. Do you like craft storage as much as me? Thanks so much for visiting me today, have a great day!
