I hope this simple card adds a little paper crafting love to ease her pain as she mends. Tip #10 of My Top 10 Ways to Get Your Stampin' Mojo
Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am bringing you a little instructional post and video to show how to use the Flowers and Leaves punch from the Annual Catalogue. This punch coordinates with the Flowers of Friendship stamp set. It punches out the two flowers and leaves on the right. But if you try and stamp any of these images individually, you will find that there is a lot of card stock wasted as the punch will cut out part of the other images at the same time. The way to avoid this is to mount all the stamps on a clear block together so that they can all be punched out at once. Not only is this a card stock saver but also a great time saver. I have recorded a short video to show you how to do it which you can watch by CLICKING HERE or on the image below. Here is the whole process, step by step in photos. First punch out all 4 shapes from a piece of card stock. This next step is really important - turn the punched card stock over and mark it so that you know which way round to use it. Then mount the large flower on a clear block. I used a Block D. Position the punched template over the stamp image and hold it in place. Whilst holding it, manoeuvre the smallest leaf into position, using the punched template as a guide. Repeat the process for the larger leaf. And finally the smaller flower. This is what you should see once the template is removed. It looks like the block isn't quite big enough in the photos but in real life it is fine! You can then stamp all 4 images at once. And punch them all out at once! Although, rather than punch them straight away, I would recommend colouring them first. I hope you find that helpful. Of course it will work for any of our punches which punch out more than one image. And I'll be back later this week with a new project featuring these punched flowers. Do come back to see that! Hello Stamping Friends Today I am going to show you how to make a Crazy Cat Lady Starter Kit card - I think we all know one of those people and I certainly am one! This card just kind of happened on its own by accident when I was playing with the new cat punch. It has been so popular that I thought I would do a blog and show you all how to make it. I made the card using Stampin'Up! (SU) Chocolate Chip cardstock and a matt of SU Punpkin Pie - Halloween colours First I made up the cat crate using the SU Wood Crate Framelits Dies and SU Wood Textured Designer Series Paper Stack. You have to cut 2 matching pieces and make up a full size crate. When the crate is glued together and set, cut it in half longwise so that you have 2 half crates that you can use for 2 cards. Take one half and cut it back on the edges to half again as you want it to lie as flat to your card as possible Using the Stampin'Up! Cat punch, cut out several cats from the Designer Series Paper or from any paper. As you can see below, you can use the part bits of the cats (from the edges of the paper) behind the box to look like full cats. No one will notice, and I wont tell Fold back about 1/4 " on each edge and glue the 1/2 crate to the front of your card. Add your sentiment with demensionals and on this second card I have added some paw prints from the Stampin'Up! Foxy Friends Stamp Set Card Recipe:- SU Chocolate Chip Cardstock - 1/2 A4 page folder in half SU Pumpkin Pie Cardstock - 5 5/8 x 3 7/8" Very Vanilla Cardstock - 5 3/8 x 3 5/8" for insert and a scrap for the sentiment Cat Punch SU Spooky Nights Designer Series Paper - cats page Wood Crate Framelits Dies Wood Textures Designer Series Pape Stack Stampin Write Back Marker to make tabby stripes Stampin'Up Foxy Friends Stamp set for the tiny cat paw stamp Product List Chocolate Chip A4 Card Stock [108599] £7.25 Pumpkin Pie A4 Card Stock [108601] £7.25 Very Vanilla A4 Card Stock [106550] £8.25 Wood Crate Framelits Dies [143730] £27.00 Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack [144177] £9.00 Cat Punch [144666] £16.00 Spooky Night Designer Series Paper [144610] £10.00 Neutrals Stampin' Write Markers [131261] £22.00 Sponge Daubers [133773] £4.50 Foxy Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set [141549] £24.00 Product List

Whilst we have been unable to meet in person, I have still enjoyed the wonders of swapping by participating in a couple of swaps via the post. S0 much fun! At the start of Sale-A-Bration I coordinated a swap amongst team members and this is the card I made - I have used this card sketch, featuring the Quite Curvy Bundle, lots of times and I love how it works with a variety of papers. On this version, the punched daisy makes a wonderful focal point - two punched daisies with their centres highlighted with a hint of Pool Party ink (applied using the Blending Brushes for subtle coverage), offset to give a fuller flower and topped with a Resin Dot. I made the same card using different papers from the same pack too. I wanted to use these papers again but I challenged myself to use the same sketch but to adapt it and to only use stamps and punches - no die cutting allowed! I think that the Flowers & Field papers rose to the challenge perfectly and look fabulous teamed up with sentiments from the Happiest of Birthdays set. The Medium Daisy punch creates the same focal point as the original card and I've finished them off with either Matte Black dots or the Playing with Patterns Resin Dots. Aren't these super simple cards effective? Thank you for stopping by today - I hope I have inspired you to use and adapt a favourite card sketch to make a new and different version! Use the Cat Punch to make quick & easy cat cards - for those cat lover friends of yours. Bows are a great addition to a female card and so many things can be made out of the bow builder. Hello and welcome to my blog! Today I am taking part in a blog hop with some fellow enthusiasts who love sharing their creative talents using their Stampin' Up!® products. This month the Stamping Inkspirations blog hop is sketch challenge. The starting point for our challenge this month is this sketch. The Countryside Corners bundle jumped to mind when I saw the cut away corners, but to begin with I was stumped with how to tackle the vertical sentiment! The Alphabest letters and coordinating punch came to the rescue. Hope you like my interpretation of the sketch. I chose the sheet of DSP with the rabbits on for my background and used the largest of the octagonal dies to cut out the shape. To add some interest at the corners I layered it on to an embossed piece of Basic White - I used one of the Basics trio from the Online Exclusives. These layers were in turn matted on to Night of Navy, to make the colours pop, before adding to the Boho Blue card base. I stamped one of the little frames from the Alphabest set onto Basic White using Night of Navy ink, and then infilled with letters stamped in Boho Blue before punching out the tiles using the Best Label punch. I adhered the little tiles up on to some Tear & Tape, using my Grid Paper as a guide, to line them up before adding them to the card front. The thank is flat to the card, but the you is lifted on Dimensionals to accommodate the loopy Baker's Twine bow. As a finishing touch, there is a trio of Iridescent Pearls. The reverse side of the rabbit DSP is equally striking, so I made an alternative card too. It's exactly the same...but different! I used some frames that I had left over from a previous project and then added the letters and textured layer as before. I hope that you are inspired by my cards today and that you will continue along the hop to see what the others have created too. Enjoy the projects. We would love to hear from you and so if you have been inspired, please leave a comment. Welcome to a Week 3 of the Colour Creations Showcase blog hop. This week we continue our journey through the New In Colours for 2024-26 Stampin' Up!, working in alphabetical order. This week our feature colour is the lovely Pretty In Pink. A lovely Pink colour that sits between Melon Mambo and Flirty Flamingo on the Stampin' Up! Colour Wheel. The Country Flowers bundle is a gorgeous new bundle from the Annual Catalogue and the one I have chosen for this week's card. Pretty In Pink has been teamed with Smokey Slate and Old Olive. I have used Stampin Blends to colour both the floral spray and the bucket that the flowers are arranged in. These have been popped up on Dimensionals onto a piece of White and then Pretty In Pink card that have been die cut using the Spotlight On Nature dies. The cascading flowers have been die cut using dies from the Country Flowers dies and In Colour Designer Series Paper and the same in Regals. In Colour Shimmer Gems have been added to the flower centres. The gems have a gorgeous glimmer to them. The White background card has been embossed using the Eyelet 3D embossing folder and has a narrow edge of Pretty In Pink Bordered ribbon on both top and bottom. A few Pretty In Pink Adhesive Backed Dappled Dots have also been added to the White card. These dots are gorgeous and look like they have a crackled appearance. All of this has been mounted onto a piece of Unbounded Beauty Designer Series Paper. The sentiment, from Simply Said has been White embossed on Pretty In Pink card. In an endeavour to not end up with a lot of retired Designer Series Paper at the end of the catalogue, I have added more to the inside of the card. It has been die cut using one of the Radiating Stitches dies. To cover a bit of a booboo using too much glue, I have added some more die cut flowers and leaves to the top corner. Next in tonight's blog hop is the talented Rachel Palmieri. I look forward to seeing this week's beautiful creation. If the "next" button link is not working or you would like to see a full list of participants then you can hop over to our host Cathy Proctor where you can see a full list of tonight's participants.
