I've been seeing this really cute idea on the internet and was thinking it could totally be turned into a singing time/service for the Bishop!!!I was thinking of doing this with Jr primary on Sunday instead of my Easter presentation but I haven't totally made up my mind on this yet. You can take a peek at the idea Here You would have to change the tag a bit but no biggie!! For this I would hide 12 plastic eggs around the room. Some would have songs to sing, others would have fun actions to do with songs and some others would have fill in the blank on some of the songs for review. This would be your basic Egg hunt with the songs included, but the twist is, if they sing their very best, then they can put a lot of candy in the egg, if they don't sing so well, then only one piece of candy in the egg. At this point they will be so excited about adding lots of candy, that they will focus on singing their very best. After each egg is filled it will be put in a cute Easter Basket with the You've been Egged tag attached!!! At the end of singing time, you will let them in on a secret, (they are going to egg the bishop!) You will have the Bishop come in and tell him HOW wonderful the children sang today and that because of their AWESOME singing, his eggs were filled to the brim with treats and that he has officially been EGGED by Jr primary. We will then close by singing "Our Bishop" and present him with the basket!!! I will have one candy filled egg for each child to take home and will thank them for singing their very best today and helping me EGG the bishop!
I was looking through my drawings the other day and found a few random things I've never done anything with, or at least that I haven't shared here. So, I'm posting them here in the hopes that some of you will have use for them. "If you don't walk like most people do, some people laugh and point at you, but I won't, I won't" "If you don't talk like most people do, some people walk away from you, but I won't, I won't." I started doing some illustrations for the primary song "I'll walk with you" But, for some reason I never finished. Anyway, these are the illustrations. If you have some use for them: CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD Captain Moroni CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD Primary Class CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD This is one of my favorites. While I don't do custom work anymore, I got a request from a woman visiting a tiny little branch in Africa. The missionaries there needed things for their primary and she couldn't find many church materials with sweet little African children on them. Things like that just melt my heart. It makes me feel like I'm being a missionary in a small sort of way. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD this Priesthood holder CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD the 10 commandments tablets CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD Jesus and John the Baptist It came to my attention that some of you could use the commandment tablets and John the Baptist for making singing time flip charts for the primary baptism song on page 100 of the Children's song book. I have to admit that this illustration of the Savior and John the Baptist is not my favorite. I've been wanting to re-do it. But since you may be able to get some use out of it (whether I like it or not) I'm posting it for you. Enjoy! You can also click on the ideas & inspiration tab up top to see how these were used in a primary flip chart. I thought I had figured out the issue with the backgrounds showing up gray in blogger. Apparently I didn't.

CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD I wish I could say that I came up with this idea on my own. But alas, I did not. Some time ago I was contacted by a mother wanting to use my images to make resurrection puppets. What are resurrection puppets? They are used to teach the plan of salvation. Remember the old object lesson of the hand in the glove to show the spirit in the body? Well, these work the same way. The white 'spirit' puppets fit inside the colored 'body' puppets. Click here to see her blog post with the finished product. I'm sure you'll get a much better understanding from it than from my description. I think they turned out really cute. At the time of her request, I didn't have actual drawings for her. So she used my baptism kids and colored them herself. Since then, I have made a proper set with both white clothing and colored. Enjoy! (hint hint: these make a great gift to send in a missionary care package!)

Di-chroic means two colored, or multicolored) . This type of glass transmits light in one wavelength, & reflects light in two other wavelengths. It is common for dichroic glass to appear as 2 or 3 different colors, simultaneously. Dichroic glass is coated with electronically excited metallic particles in a vacuum chamber, at elevated temperatures. In our studio, we start with large sheets of glass which we cut into small pieces. These pieces are specially arranged & melted together in a kiln to form our jewelry. I was born, raised, and still reside in my beloved city of New Orleans. The pseudonym, Ti-Rock Moore, pays homage to the late 1960s, French Quarter artist Noel Rockmore, who greatly influenced me as a child. As a young woman I fought for gay rights during the 80s and 90s, a time when there was much resistance to the movement. As gay rights gained substantial momentum, I shifted my focus to the devastating racism that still remains very pervasive in all areas of society in this country and have used it as the primary focus for my artistic practice. Living in the South has always made racism a highly visible, salient, and uncomfortable reality. After Hurricane Katrina, extreme racism in this country was magnified ten-fold and I knew then, without reservation, that something needed to be done. I practiced privately for many years, but I emerged publicly with my protest pieces in June 2014 and have since shown at various galleries in New Orleans, L.A., Philly and Brooklyn, the Ogden Museum of Southern Art, the Contemporary Arts Center New Orleans, and Art Basel in Miami. My first solo show opened in Chicago in July 2015, and the second will open in L.A. September 2016. Statement "My artistic practice is rooted in my passions as an activist. The vast majority of my body of work is a criticism of American patriotism driven by white supremacy and the continued systemic oppression that people of color face in the United States. My specific areas of interest are in addressing the mass incarceration of young black people in America and the undeniable violence they experience at the hands of white authorities and those in their very own community. My artistic influences include: Andy Warhol, Deborah Kass, and Thorton Dial. I work primarily with mixed media and occasionally use video clips with historical significance to make my message direct. I reference 19th century slave labor, particularly in the American South, to delineate the progression of present-day commodification of the black body. In the movement to dismantle racism, I take responsibility as a white activist to express my frustrations about the treatment of the black community in the United States. I believe, it is time for white Americans to hold accountability for and stand up to the injustices of racial oppression. With the great controversy surrounding my artwork, I continue to primarily identify as an activist with the mission to raise the consciousness of white Americans who refuse to acknowledge the persistently oppressive structures that benefit white mediocrity above all else. This is the great moral issue of our time. And this is why I’ve devoted my artistic practice entirely to breaking white denial and addressing social justice issues centered on racism. The notion of the artist as activist is at the root of my practice. My art is protest art and is reactive and loud and meant to elicit a higher consciousness. It should be observed as a civic tool. White privilege, white power and white supremacy control America’s heartbeat, and our nation’s collective loss of memory, our historical amnesia is to blame. My work reflects my acute awareness of the unearned advantages my white skin holds."
