Hey y'all!! I am so stinkin' excited about today's projects. The things I am working with today are from the new January to June Mini Catalog (which I will be calling "the mini"). Normally demonstrators, like me, can pre order everything in the new mini during the pre order period. However Stampin' Up! held this set back and said "trust us we are working on something big". When that happens, hold on to your hat because it's gonna be good. And boy oh boy is it!! Stampin' Up! has pulled a stamp set out of the vault to match a current mini catalog item AND they created dies for BOTH sets!!! Yep I'm talking about the Hey Chick and Hey Birthday Chick bundles. So several years back, I'm thinking 2017 Sale-a-bration, Stampin Up! released a set called Hey Chick. This was one of the level one free stamp sets for Sale-a-bration. I was just a customer way back in the day and passed on that set. There were other things I wanted. But man was I kicking myself later. Fast forward to now, and it's out of the vault with a cute matching die set. Not to mention that the "chicks" now have a birthday set AND matching dies. These bundles will be available to all in February but demonstrators can order it now, and it could be part of the starter kit (just sayin'). Alright, let's take a look at what I have created for you today! I made a set of birthday cards and a card box. I have a good friend who has chickens and I knew immediately that my first projects with these sets would be to make her some cards she could send. Details for today's card How cute is this card? I love the little eggs and that adorable hatching chick. I started with a side fold card base. Then I layered the dot DSP and added a 1-1/2" strip of that striped paper. The chicks are stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I used Stampin' Blends to add shadows and the legs. Next up is this crazy chick! To me this card tells the story of a party. Honestly it cracks me up! This card is a Seaside Spray card base with a piece of Cinnamon Cider DSP from the 6"x6" In Colors paper pack. I did layer some Misty Moonlight under my circles. The confetti is from the Ice Cream suite. This is the last card in the set. I started with a Basic White top folding card base. Then I layered Seaside Spray and a layer of Misty Moonlight DSP. I used the Boarders to Background stamp set to stamp the tag with Misty Moonlight. I used some of the Frost White glimmer paint to splatter the background. The adorable hatching chicks are just my very favorite and super cute on this card. Now let's look at the box I made to hold the cards. I love giving card sets as gifts and this one has got to be at the top of my favorite one ever made list. The clear boxes from Stampin' Up! are perfect for holding 6 cards and envelopes (well I've gotten 10 cards and envelopes in there but it's tight). I made a belly band from the Ice Cream Suite and stamped some chicks on a die cut shape. I added one of the die cut chicken wire pieces and some linen twine to finish off my belly band. Here is what the whole set looks like together. I really hope that you have been inspired to make a card or card set today. Thank you for hopping over to my blog where we make the world a little kinder, one card at a time! Make sure to check out the rest of the hop below! Are you in the United States? Good morning my crafty friends! It's time for another One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! Thank you so much for joining me today. This month's theme is all about the fellas. Sometimes, in paper crafting, it's hard to come up with projects that are more masculine. But today, the OSAT design team are going to give you a ton of incredible project ideas for the man in your life! My contribution to this idea is a Fancy Fold Birthday Card featuring the (retiring) Outdoor Barbecue stamp set. At first glance, it appears to be a pretty standard card. It's got a fabulous background texture and I am a sucker for the Red/Black/White combination! But when you open the card, that's when the magic happens! hehe. It Bursts open! Follow the hop around to see all of the beautiful projects shared. Click the "next" button to be taken directly to Mary's blog where you're sure to find inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this fun Fancy Fold Card! Until Next Time, Happy Crafting! #TheStampinChic The Everything Is Rosy Class To Go is available as a kit or a PDF tutorial only (while supplies last). Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where today is all about the BFF! I immediately thought of the cute little characters in the By My Side stamp set. I am participating in the OSAT Blog Hop today. The theme this month is to create a card for your BFF! So all those participating are making a wonderful card and 3D item fit for a best friend. All of the links to the other creative card makers are at the end of my post. I created some best friends having some fun jumping rope with the By My Side Stamp set. This is a Z fold card with a Balmy Blue base of 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" I matted the front and inside with Daffodil Delight cardstock. The Yellow Stripe is paper is from the Sale-abration Wonderful World Stamp Set & 12" X 12' DSP The green dotted grass paper is from Design A Daydream Host Reward DSP The sky is Basic White blended with Balmy Blue ink using the Blending Brushes. I fussy cut the characters and colored them with my Stampin' Blends. The boy and the girl in the red dress are popped up with dimensionals. I tied knots on either end of some Crumb Cake Baker's Twine and glued it to their hands for a jump rope! The sentiments come with the By My Side stamp set stamped in Balmy Blue. For my 3D Project I made a little treat bag with the Peekaboo Treat Bags. I wrapped 3 Hershey Nuggets with Paper from the IN Color 6" x 6"DSP Assortment. Using the Alphabest Bundle I stamped and punched out BFF on Daffodil Delight cardstock and Balmy Blue ink. Placing them in the window of the Peekaboo Treat Bag was a bit of a challenge - there is just enough room and it was tricky trying to get them to line up - but I did get it!! I trimmed the bag with the same yellow stripe I used in the card. I made the tags using the Tailor Made Tags - I did cut the big one down lengthwise for the girl tag. I also punched bigger holes in the tags because I wanted to thread all three - the Iridescent Trim, Balmy Blue & White Double-Stitched Ribbon and the Tahitian Metallic Woven Ribbon - through the tag. I hope you enjoyed my projects and get some inspiration from them! Now on to all of the other inspiration with the other talented card makers participating in this hop!
Hi Crafters! Thanks for joining me for the Fall/Halloween One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! What a fun time of year! Here in Australia, we are just coming into summer, so no fall colours here. We are starting to get a lot more kids coming around for Halloween as it's only just started to get popular the last 5 years or so, with more kids & households participating each year. I thought I would do a little treat for the parents taking the kids around. I'll be making treats for the kids as well, but I thought some little tea bag holders would be a nice surprise for the parents... I'm sure they'll get some of the kids' chocolates! How fun are these? And they are super easy to make with all the cutting & scoring done on my Stampin' Trimmer! The DSP is a 3" square, glued on with Tombow Liquid Glue & then I've added Basic Black Baker's Twine & Washi Tape. I have used Elegant Eggplant, Rich Razzelberry, Perfect Plum, Basic Black & Pumpkin Pie Cardstock for the bases, cut to 3-1/2" x 8-1/4", scored in the middle & then 3-1/2" from either side of the middle score line, so you have about 3/4" to folder over to make the pockets on the inside. The moon & trees is one of the patterns from the Spooky Night Designer Series Paper (DSP) & I have added the owl in Sahara Sand from the Spooky Cat Stamp Set. The eyes & sentiment are one stamp, which I have inked in Basic Black & the beak & feet are also one stamp which I have inked in Pumpkin Pie. I ended up cutting the stamp in two so I could just use the sentiment. You can see the top tea bag holder in the pic above doesn't have the black around it's eyes. And I tried to keep the teabags to matching or Halloween themed colours. I've used a Glue Dot behind each tea bag to keep them in place. I'm really happy how these turned out. Hey there! Welcome welcome to the OSAT blog hop for May. For those who follow this blog hop on a regular basis, I'm sure you wondered what happened to me. Maybe you thought they kicked me out!?!?! LOL! I was afraid they might. I've been missing in the stamping world for going on 5 months. My dad has been sick and in the hospital three times since January 3. It's been quite the ride. My mom doesn't like to be left alone so me and my sisters have been staying with them. My daddy is a tough brave man and is now home and regaining his strength. I'm so proud of him. So that is basically what I've been up to and when I am home, I sleep. I now know the real meaning of exhaustion. My stamp room is a sight to behold, but I was able to throw something together for this hop yesterday while I went home for awhile, since we have an aid a couple of days a week. This bundle was something I bought from the January - June mini catalog and hadn't even had a chance to use it. I hope you like what I came up with. I Thank you for stopping by. It's been so good to hop this month and to try and get back into the swing of things. Please click on the next name in the list below to continue on the hop. By the title of this post you would think that we are going to learn how to make some craft beer today! Well, we will not be making beer - but I will be using the new Brewed for You and my Blending Brushes to make some fun cards for you friends and family that enjoy a cold beer. So these beers were finally crafted by using several different ink colors blended together to show you one of the many ways we can use blending as a technique - which is what this month's One Stamp at a Time blog hop is all about. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, here to show you some great examples of how we have used blending to create some cards and 3D items. The links to other talented demonstrator's creations will be at the end of my post. I created two cards and a gift card holder using a new set that will be available on May 1st. with a beer theme. I was excited about this set because all of the men in my family are really into craft beers. Going to a local brewery and tasting a flight of crafted beers is a fun night out for all of us. The first card with the 4 tasting glasses is very typical of how we sample the new offerings, they are usually smaller 4 or 5 once glasses of several different brews. For all of these cards - I took Bumble Bee Ink and Pale Papaya Ink and used my blending brushes to create the beer color for a lighter beer. ( which is what I usually stick to!) Then to make a stronger - IPA or Stout beer - I blended in some Cinnamon Cider Ink and some Soft Suede Ink. After I got the color I liked, I took my Spritzer and sprayed a tiny bit of water on the blended colors, then dabbed off any tiny little water spots still on the paper with a paper towel. This creates a little bubble effect in which a freshly poured beer may have. For the beer flight tasting glasses - everything was done with die cuts from the Brewed Dies. The paper is Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Basic White cardstock (in which I colored with my Blending Brushes). The DSP is the upcoming catalog as well, it is called He's The Man - it is 12 X12 with 12 sheets of 2 each of 5 double sided designs and then 2 sheet of die-cut punch out designs that coordinate with several of the more masculine stamp sets being offered in the new annual catalog. The sentiment is from the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set which is carrying over to this next catalog. The die I used is from Ornate Frames - which sadly is not being carried over :( 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 The second card features the beer mugs and the growler. Again, the beer, the sentiment tag, the growler and the foam are all blended colors to achieve that beer look! I used Basic White card stock - for the foam I used Grey Granite and for the Growler I used Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede inks. These mugs were stamped twice - once in the white card stock and once on my beer blended paper, then die cut and layered over each other. This sentiment comes with the Brewed for You set. The round die cut behind the growler will be available in the next catalog as well - in the He's All that Bundle. Same Bundle that coordinates with the DSP I used on these cards. 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 The 3D item I made this month is a gift card holder. This is perfect for where I live, anytime any of the guys in our neighborhood lend a hand with a project - they are always paid back in either a gift card for the local brewery or a 6 pack of beer - so I think this stamp set is going to get a lot of use! The base of this gift card is one piece of cardstock 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" - I used Crumb Cake here DSP piece 4" X 5 1/4" - again I used a new DSP from the upcoming catalog, He's The Man DSP The next layer is a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that measures 4 1/4" X 8 3/4" that is scored at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". After I applied the coordinating DSP to the shortest flap that will be folded up to make the gift card pocket - I punched a thumb grab for the gift card. I placed a piece of the blended cardstock on the inside of the pocket before I glued down the sides of the pocket that forms the gift card holder. I added the coordinating DSP to the inside top flap and the Thank You sentiment I used is from the Plentiful Plants Stamp set that is also going forward in the next catalog. I used the same circle die I used on the second card on some blended "beer paper" and stamped it with the Oh, Ale Yes! in Early Espresso Ink and adhered it to my little gift card pocket. For the front flap of the card holder I blended the beer and the growler on white card stock and stamped them with black ink and die cut the pieces. This sentiment comes with the Brewed for You set and I used the Stitched Rectangle die and popped it up with Dimensionals. This whole card holder trifold was then adhered to the middle of the card base. I hope you enjoyed my blended Beers!! Now it is on to see what everyone else has created:
Hello and Welcome to One Stamp At A Time's Oh My Pumpkins and Pie Blog Hop! This month it is all about Pumpkins, Fall or Halloween cards and projects! If you have already been hopping you should have landed here from the Fabulous Maria Willis' blog! Isn't Maria amazing?? If you started with me, please make sure to continue on to all of the blogs as there is a lot of awesome inspiration for you this month!!! Here's my card and project for you this month... I was super excited to get my new Stampin' Up! Spooky Fun stamp set and coordinating Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies to use on this card! For my card, I went with traditional (to me) Halloween colors... Pumpkin Pie, Elegant Eggplant, Basic Black and Basic Gray. My cardbase is an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock scored at 4 1/4" for a standard A2 Card Base. The next layer is a 5 1/4" x 4" piece of Elegant Eggplant that had been stamped in Elegant Eggplant Ink with the Watercolor Wash background stamp. I punched out a circle in Pumpkin Pie for the moon and stamped it with the 2nd generation of the Elegant Eggplant Watercolor Wash stamp. I adhered that to the Purple layer in the upper right section. The next layer is Basic Black that was also 5 1/4" x 4" and was cut with the Tree scene die and adhered with Fast Fuse over the purple so that some of the branches are in the moon. I die cut a bat out of a scrap of basic black and added that over the moon as well. Next up is the fence scene that was cut out from a 4" x 4" wide scrap of Basic Gray Cardstock. The Happy Halloween sentiment was stamped on it in Elegant Eggplant on the bottom right before adhering this to the card front. I stamped the pumpkins in Basic Black Archival Ink onto Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and die cut them with the dies from the Halloween Scenes Edgelits Dies. I adhered them with Dimensionals right over the sentiment. Last but never least, I added some Pretty Pink Posh Purple and Silver Sequins from the Enchanted Garden Mix. I bought these from Justin Krieger at his Stamp, Ink, Paper Store! I LOVE these colors in this mix! The inside of my card had a 4 x 5 1/4" piece of Elegant Eggplant Cardstock as well as a 3 3/4" x 5" piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. The spiders were stamped in Basic Black Archival Ink in the upper right corner. The sentiment was stamped in Elegant Eggplant Ink. Finally, some die cut pumpkins done the same as the ones on the front of the card were added in the lower left side. The Pumpkin Curvy Keepsake Box was cut from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and striped with a sponge dauber in Pumpkin Pie Ink. The Leaves are stamped Tone-on-Tone on Old Olive Cardstock with the Vintage Leaves Stamp set and cut out with the Leaflet Framelits Dies. They were adhered with Tombo Multipurpose Glue. I tied a bow with some Green Seam Binding. The tag also from the Curvy Keepsake Framelits was cut out in a scrap of Sahara Sand and tied on with Linen Thread. This pumpkin turned out super cute and I think it would make an awesome place setting or treat box! Thanks so much for stopping by!
Today I'm sharing my projects for the OSAT Blog Hop! This month our theme is End of Summer Tic Tac Toe and I'm featuring the gorgeous Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper. Of course it isn't the end of summer for us here in the Southern Hemisphere but it's easy to get into the swing of things with summer on its way! I've chosen the first column - Ribbon, DSP and Flowers - for my projects. It's my friend's birthday today and I've created this with her in mind! How cute is this mini clipboard? A piece of board has been covered in the Designer Series Paper using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon has been glued under the note paper to create a loop for the pen. Flowers and a leaf from the DSP have been fussy cut and added to the note paper. "Just a Note ..." is stamped in Rich Razzleberry and is from the Better Together stamp set and the pieces of ribbon are tied around a Gold Library Clip. The Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper is so pretty I wanted to cover as little of it up as possible! "Happy Birthday" is from the Botanical Bliss Stamp set and is stamped in Coastal Cabana. It has a Colored Doily (reverse side) attached to the bottom and several loops of Silver Metallic Thread under it. A strip of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, a bow in Whisper White Baker's Twine and three Clear Rhinestones complete the look! I hope you have enjoyed my projects today! Please use the links below to continue on the hop with us! There'll be lots of inspirational projects - you won't want to miss any!
I've got a new card and decor piece for your next celebration. They both use an updated bokeh technique with a fun twist! You'll love how easy it is.

Hey Everybody! Welcome to my blog and guess what?! It's One Stamp At a Time blog hop day and this month our theme is Birthday Bash!! That means we've got 18 stampers from all over who have made some amazing birthday cards and projects to share with you today! If you are starting the hop here...Welcome to my blog, it's so nice to have you! If you've hopped here from Melissa Davies' blog then thanks for stopping by! After you check out my projects don't forget to click the next button at the bottom of my page to continue the hop and see everyone's amazing projects! Now, let's get to it! My card and my project are all one big project this month because I made a set of six cards with custom envelopes and a fun little box to package it all up in. I used one of my favorite sets from Stampin' Ups! annual catalog, Birthday Fiesta. This set is wacky-amazing and makes me grin like nothing else! I hope you'll get a kick out of the fun llamapaca and cactus stamps featured on my card set today... Here's a shot of the gift box I made to package my card set in. And here's what the set looks like when it's nestled in the box with some festive tissue... I don't know if these are llamas or alpacas so I call them the "llamapacas!" This "Fiesta like there's no mañana" sentiment is one of my favorites! We should all Fiesta like there's no tomorrow a few times in our lives. The cactus stamp and flowers from this set are so fun! Here I've paired them with the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and coordinating Punch to make these fun little notecards. When the new catalog first came out I thought I could get along without the Thoughtful Banners set. Boy am I glad I rethought that because since I purchased it I have been using it non-stop! My little cards are not a standard card size so I made six of these colorful, perfectly sized envelopes to go along with my cards (so easy to do with the Envelope Punch Board). This Festive Birthday DSP is so colorful and happy! The envelope on the left looks exactly like a blanket that I got in Mexico when I was in high school! Here are a couple close ups of my cards so that you can see the details... I used the streamer framelits with this llamapaca card. And, on this card I used the confetti from the framelits... or, maybe they are small cactus flowers? I dunno, but on this card I'm calling it birthday confetti! Here's one of my cactus cards... And, another cactus card but this time with a different sentiment. Did you notice that the sentiments are curved to follow the curve of the banner? One word: Photopolymer! Photopolymer stamps bend and this allows you to shape them just the way you like which of course gives you endless possibilities! That's it for today. I hope you liked my card set, envelopes and box today. If you have a minute please leave me a comment below and let me know what you thought. Hi There and Welcome to the March 2020 One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop "Chick Ewe Out". This month's theme is all about Animals or Easter.. our pick! If you have aleady been hopping, thanks so much for continuing! If you are starting with me, please make sure that you check out all of the fabulous inspiration along the way! There is a blog roll at the end of the post that will take you to the next Blog! I'm sure you'll be amazed at the cards and projects shared! I went with Animals instead of Easter and used a combination of the Wildly Happy Stamp Set and the beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I used Pretty Peacock for my cardbase and two pieces of the Tropical Oasis DSP layered onto each other and then cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and added a thin matt of Pool Party Cardsock. i loved this DSP paired with the Elephants. It really looked like a jungle in the background! The elephant image from the Wildly Happy Stamp Set was stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used my Stampin' Blends in Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light Pool Party and Light and Dark Mossy Meadow. I colored everything in prior to cutting it into a Stitched Circle with my Stitched Shapes Dies. Since I'm not usally that great and doing skys or backgrounds, I used a combination of Light Pool Party and Light Petal Pink in sideways strokes for the sky and I love how it turned out. I stamped the sentiment on the lower light green portion of the DSP in versamark and embossed it in black. I ran some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding around the panel and tied it on the right side and then attached the Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals in the upper and lower section avoiding the seam binding. I cut my Curvy Keepsake Box from Tropical Oasis DSP and kept the tag super simple by stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and punch a small hole in the top and then adding more of the Crinkled Seam Binding. Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Halloween!! I am taking part in the One Stamp at a Time Ghouls' Night Out Blog Hop! We will all be sharing one card and one 3D project, all the links will be at the bottom of my post so you can see what everyone has created. My fun Halloween card was created by combining the Welcome Window Die set and the Clever Cats Stamp set. I wanted to give my window a little haunted house feel with the crooked shutter! Here are the details: the base is Basic Black Card stock with a layer of the Cute Halloween 6x6 DSP with all the Boos! A layer of Smokey Slate Card stock - 4 3/4 x 3 1/2" The next layer is the almost solid blackish DSP piece from the Cute Halloween DSP run through the Brick and Mortar 3D embossing folder - 4 1/2 x 3 1/4" I cut the window frame and shutters from Smokey Slate and the hardware from Basic Black with the Window Flower Box Dies I used my Blending Brush with Bumble Bee and a tiny bit of Pumpkin Pie ink on Basic White cardstock and the just cut it to size to make the back side of the window - and stamped the little spider making sure he will fit into a window pane before I glued the window frame onto it. I stamped my black cat on Basic White Cardstock and fussy cut him out and attached him with Dimensionals. ★★★★★★★★ For my little treat box - I had bought some eyeball gum balls- that I was going to use on my Halloween Tablescape - see here - but I had used the Stampin' Up! Tombstone Treat Boxes on my table and you could not see through the Tombstones (I could have made a window - but it wasn't the look I was going for with the table) So I knew I wanted to use a clear box and use the eyeball gum balls for this treat box. Here are the details: I filled my acetate box with a little bit of black paper shred and my eyeball gum balls cut several 1" strips of the Cute Halloween 6 x 6 DSP paper and adhered them together to form one long strip that would wrap around my box and used my Stampin' Blends to color in the candy corn on the DSP. I cut two long strips of Daffodil Delight Card stock using the small zig zag die in the Basic Borders die set - moving the die down and cut again for a continuous strip and adhered those to each side of the DSP. I wrapped it around my box -trimmed and adhered it with some Stampin' Seal+. The tag is cut with the tag from the Pretty Pillow Box Dies and stamped with the Boo from theTime of Giving stamp set. My bow was made with the Black 3/8" Glittered Organdy Ribbon and I made it like I make a wreath bow - back and forth with several loops then tied with a silver twist tie, The tag and bow were adhered with two glue dots. ★★★★★★★★ Now - on to all the other creative ideas from my stamping community!
Hello everyone and welcome to OSAT Blog Hop - No Rules New Year! You should have arrived here from the blog of Maria Willis, I'm sure you enjoyed her beautiful projects this month! So now onto what I've made to show you! I'm featuring a die set by Gina Marie Designs for both my card and matching tag. This heron with cattails die set is absolutely gorgeous! I had so much fun inking up the sky, sun and water using my distress inks. The sentiment and banner is from Simon Says Stamp. It's a good idea when cutting out these fun little shapes, to cut extra and make matching tags. I whipped up the matching tag in under 5 minutes, you can't beat that! Here's a link to Gina's shop! Good Morning, Stampers! Welcome to the January One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop! Join us this month, we Sale-a-Brate Every Occasion! The Occasions Mini catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochures and live and the designers are ready to share their projects with you! I'm a bit partial to Valentine's Day, (😉) so my projects are designed specifically to celebrate LOVE! Lots of fun framelit pieces to embellish, too! These trio of trees were created using various sizes of heart framelits and the Sprig punch. I originally purchased these 4" tree forms to create trees for the holidays. Well, time got the best of me so I used them for Valentine's Day! The front two trees were created using the All My Love designer paper and the hearts from the Be Mine framelit dies. The third tree was created with Real Red cardstock and the Sprig pinch. You can easily attach them using Multi-purpose liquid glue - a fun addition to your Valentine decor! Happie Stampin'! ~Melissa Be sure to follow along so you can see all the amazing creations!
Welcome to our first blog hop of 2020!!!! I'm so glad you have decided to hop with us today. This is going to be an amazing hop this month. This is the start of our new Jan-June mini catalog and also Sale-a-bration. It's the greatest time of the SU year!!! So let's get started. I knew I wanted to do something for my 3D project this month that could go on my Valentine tree and I happened to find these wooden hang tags in our local Dollar General. There were 8 tags for $1.50, so that is the direction I went and I wanted to use our new lovely Parisian Bundle. I used our Liquid Glue to glue the DSP to the wooden tag and then used the coordinating dies and stamp set from the bundle/suite to embellish them. These are the tags I found at the Dollar General Here are the tags hanging on my rose gold Valentine tree. I used some of the dies from the Be Mine dies as well to embellish. Here is my card using the same DSP and the Eiffel Tower die. I chose to use Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the beautiful Country Floral 3D embossing folder to give this card some bling. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It's so sparkly. Well thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my projects. I will post pictures later next week when I get my tree done. I love to decorate for all the holidays. Blessings, Renee Product List Parisian Beauty Bundle (English) [153778] $43.00 Petal Pink 1/4" (6.4 Mm) Metallic-Edge Ribbon [151194] $7.00 Cherry Cobbler 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [119685] $8.75 Very Vanilla 8-1/2" X 11" Thick Cardstock [144237] $8.25 Parisian Blossoms Specialty Designer Series Paper [151192] $14.50 Sparkle Glimmer Paper [146957] $5.00 Cherry Cobbler Classic Stampin' Pad [147083] $7.50 Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder [151823] $9.00 Stitched Be Mine Dies [148527] $35.00 Multipurpose Liquid Glue [110755] $4.00 Very Vanilla 3/8" (1 Cm) Scalloped Lace Trim [149593] $7.00 Whisper White 5/8" (1.6 Cm) Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon [146912] $7.50
Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where the sun has finally made an appearance and we are loving it!! I made a two projects using the Adventurous Journey stamp set- which unfortunately is no longer available since it sold out once they put it on the Last Chance List. I am participating in the One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop and this month's theme is Weather or Not. You will see the links to the other talented bloggers participating in this hop at the end of my post. We normally make 2 projects for this hop, so I made a card and a little sign for the all the kayak enthusiasts here on the little lake I live on. I love this time of the year when the sun is finally shinning around here and things are warming up - people have started to pull out their kayaks and take an early ride while the lake is still quiet. Another month the lake will be in full swing and busy with all sorts of boat activity. For my card I partnered the Adventurous Journey stamp set with the Rays of Light background stamp for the sun shining off the water. The water was done with my Blending Blending Brushes and then sprinkled a bit of water on the paper and dabbed it off with a paper towel to get some spotted effects. I colored my kayaker with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut him (or her) out with my Paper Snips. The sentiment is from the Nested Birds stamp and cut out with a stitched oval from the Mini Pocket Envelope die set. A view from my kayak!! My sign is made on a wood block that I purchased at a craft outlet for 50 cents and was already painted white - so sorry - I don't know what kind of paint it was. Again I used Balmy Blue ink and my Blending Brushes to make the background a light blue, stamped, colored and fussy cut the kayaker out. I stamped the water circles on with Balmy Blue ink. The letters are cut out with the Alphabet A La Mode dies that are carrying over to the new catalog. The heart in the middle is from the Sentiments Silhouettes die set. These are all just glued down with liquid adhesive. I hope you enjoyed these projects! Now it is on to see what everyone else has made for this hop!

Hello and Welcome to the June 2022 Edition of the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! This month's theme is the Great Outdoors! I absolutely love Masculine cards and all things Nature, so this month will be one of my favorites! If you have already been hopping, thank you for continuing on! If you are starting with my blog, please make sure that you hop all the way through for some amazing inspiration!! I absolutely adore the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set! It is perfect for masculine cards and has awesome sentiments in great mixed fonts! I accented my Crumb Cake card base with Pretty Prints DSP in Bermuda Bay. Of course I had to add a few splatters with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The stamp set has amazing art work whether you stamp it on watercolor paper like I did on this card and use a water painter to fill in or create the grounding or stamp as intended as I did on the inside of my card! The artwork on these Wildlife images is just so well done! I love these Peekaboo Treat Bags. They are perfect for a little treat or to use as a gift card holder as I did. This Kraft treat bag is perfect for a masculine project because you can add a simple tag using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and you are done! Sometimes the simplest things are the cutest! Thanks so much for hopping along! To continue, please click the name directly under mine on the below blog roll! Blessings, Tina
