Good Morning, Stampers! Welcome to this month's Sale-A-Bration party! the team is here with lots of fun ideas featuring the amazing FREE Sale-A-Bration products! The Ring of Love is a 12"x12" assocrtment of patterned designer papers with images suitable for year 'round use. The patterns have a touch of watercolor look to them and are filled with a beautiful color pallate. This bird pattern paper coordinates perfectly with Garden Birdhouses from the Annual Catalog. I gave it a little added texture by running the paper thru the die cut machine using the Stitched Greenery die. It reminds me of a quilt! I'm calling this one a candy roll! A yummy little gift that is filled with mini candy bars all rolled into one sweet treat! I used a 3" x 11" piece of Soft Suede cardstock and scored it every 1 1/2". I then added a candy bar between each score line using Tear and Tape to hold firmly. Finally, I carefully rolled the cardstock up and added a simple bellyband around to keep it closed. You can easily adjust the measurements to fit any candy bar or treat. Good morning my crafty friends! It's time for another One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! Thank you so much for joining me today. This month's theme is all about the fellas. Sometimes, in paper crafting, it's hard to come up with projects that are more masculine. But today, the OSAT design team are going to give you a ton of incredible project ideas for the man in your life! My contribution to this idea is a Fancy Fold Birthday Card featuring the (retiring) Outdoor Barbecue stamp set. At first glance, it appears to be a pretty standard card. It's got a fabulous background texture and I am a sucker for the Red/Black/White combination! But when you open the card, that's when the magic happens! hehe. It Bursts open! Follow the hop around to see all of the beautiful projects shared. Click the "next" button to be taken directly to Mary's blog where you're sure to find inspiration! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed this fun Fancy Fold Card! Until Next Time, Happy Crafting! #TheStampinChic The Everything Is Rosy Class To Go is available as a kit or a PDF tutorial only (while supplies last). Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where today is all about the BFF! I immediately thought of the cute little characters in the By My Side stamp set. I am participating in the OSAT Blog Hop today. The theme this month is to create a card for your BFF! So all those participating are making a wonderful card and 3D item fit for a best friend. All of the links to the other creative card makers are at the end of my post. I created some best friends having some fun jumping rope with the By My Side Stamp set. This is a Z fold card with a Balmy Blue base of 11" x 4 1/4", scored at 2 3/4" and 5 1/2" I matted the front and inside with Daffodil Delight cardstock. The Yellow Stripe is paper is from the Sale-abration Wonderful World Stamp Set & 12" X 12' DSP The green dotted grass paper is from Design A Daydream Host Reward DSP The sky is Basic White blended with Balmy Blue ink using the Blending Brushes. I fussy cut the characters and colored them with my Stampin' Blends. The boy and the girl in the red dress are popped up with dimensionals. I tied knots on either end of some Crumb Cake Baker's Twine and glued it to their hands for a jump rope! The sentiments come with the By My Side stamp set stamped in Balmy Blue. For my 3D Project I made a little treat bag with the Peekaboo Treat Bags. I wrapped 3 Hershey Nuggets with Paper from the IN Color 6" x 6"DSP Assortment. Using the Alphabest Bundle I stamped and punched out BFF on Daffodil Delight cardstock and Balmy Blue ink. Placing them in the window of the Peekaboo Treat Bag was a bit of a challenge - there is just enough room and it was tricky trying to get them to line up - but I did get it!! I trimmed the bag with the same yellow stripe I used in the card. I made the tags using the Tailor Made Tags - I did cut the big one down lengthwise for the girl tag. I also punched bigger holes in the tags because I wanted to thread all three - the Iridescent Trim, Balmy Blue & White Double-Stitched Ribbon and the Tahitian Metallic Woven Ribbon - through the tag. I hope you enjoyed my projects and get some inspiration from them! Now on to all of the other inspiration with the other talented card makers participating in this hop!
Hello everyone and welcome to OSAT Blog Hop - No Rules New Year! You should have arrived here from the blog of Maria Willis, I'm sure you enjoyed her beautiful projects this month! So now onto what I've made to show you! I'm featuring a die set by Gina Marie Designs for both my card and matching tag. This heron with cattails die set is absolutely gorgeous! I had so much fun inking up the sky, sun and water using my distress inks. The sentiment and banner is from Simon Says Stamp. It's a good idea when cutting out these fun little shapes, to cut extra and make matching tags. I whipped up the matching tag in under 5 minutes, you can't beat that! Here's a link to Gina's shop! Welcome to the One StampAt a Time monthly Blog Hop! This month's theme is Fresh Finds from the New January-April Mini Catalog. I choose the pretty Queen Bee Bundle to highlight. It will be fun to see what stamp all the other creative stampers have choosen with all the fun new items in this new Mini catalog that have just become available to everyone. The links to all of the bloggers participating will be at the bottom of this post. As always with the OSAT Hop we are to do one card and one 3D item, so let's start with my card. This card is using the Queen Bee Bundle found on page 26 of the New January to April Mini Catalog. I wanted to do the bee in a more unconventional color, I chose grey and mint!! I started with a Smoky Slate base and the mat layer and flowers are from the Country Gingham 6X6 DSP in Mint Macron. The Basic White cardstock layer is stamped in Smoky Slate and I inked the edges as well. Then there is a layer of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon and over the top of that is a layer of Vellum that has been embossed with the Hive 3D embossing folder. My bee was stamped twice on the Stamparatus with Smoky Slate ink giving it a bit softer look that using black ink. The coloring was done with the Mint Macron Stampin' Blends. The leaves were cut from Mint Macron cardstock. The only thing that was not included in this bundle is the sentiment - the Celebrate stamp is from Framed Florets in the new Mini Catalog and the die I used is from Fabulous Frames die set in the Annual Catalog. These both have a fun glitter about them because of the Metallic Mesh Ribbon - but it kind of got lost in my photos. ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ For my 3D project - I thought something that would go with the bee theme would be cute. When I found this Burt's Bees Cucumber Facial mask - I thought the color would be closer - too bad they don't put out a mint face mask! I placed the face mask in a recycled bag that was from one of our die sets and cut a piece of card stock the same width and 2 3/8" longer than the package and folded over the top to make the flap. I adhered it to the bag to the cardstock with glue dots in the front and back. I decorated the corner of the bag by glueing a piece of vellum that I just cut free hand with a kind of wavy edge. I used just some small amounts of glue in the middle and towards the corner where I knew I would be covering it with more embellishments to cover up the glue dots. I use the same layering in this corner and on the flap as in the card - with some Metallic Mesh Ribbon, embossed Vellum, die cut leaves and flowers and that fabulous bee! The bow on the top corner is made with the Mini Pocket Envelope Dies, the Sentiment is from Color & Contour stamp set and the Die is from the Something Fancy Dies in the new Mini Catalog. Now it is on to see what kind of Fresh Finds everyone else has created!
For the OSAT Blog Hop Mash Up I've created a lovely card by combining Dragonfly Garden with Watercolor Shapes and shared a video tutorial
Welcome to the OSAT Blog Hop! I am so excited to have you stop by The Creativity Cave! Whether this is your first stop or you are joining in from another blog, Welcome! This month our theme is Weather
Hi there! Summer Lovin' had me a blast! Summer Lovin' happened so fa-ast.... are you singin' yet? I know I will be, all the way through this great Summer themed blog hop! What makes you think of Summer? For me...
By the title of this post you would think that we are going to learn how to make some craft beer today! Well, we will not be making beer - but I will be using the new Brewed for You and my Blending Brushes to make some fun cards for you friends and family that enjoy a cold beer. So these beers were finally crafted by using several different ink colors blended together to show you one of the many ways we can use blending as a technique - which is what this month's One Stamp at a Time blog hop is all about. We are a group of Stampin' Up! Demonstrators, here to show you some great examples of how we have used blending to create some cards and 3D items. The links to other talented demonstrator's creations will be at the end of my post. I created two cards and a gift card holder using a new set that will be available on May 1st. with a beer theme. I was excited about this set because all of the men in my family are really into craft beers. Going to a local brewery and tasting a flight of crafted beers is a fun night out for all of us. The first card with the 4 tasting glasses is very typical of how we sample the new offerings, they are usually smaller 4 or 5 once glasses of several different brews. For all of these cards - I took Bumble Bee Ink and Pale Papaya Ink and used my blending brushes to create the beer color for a lighter beer. ( which is what I usually stick to!) Then to make a stronger - IPA or Stout beer - I blended in some Cinnamon Cider Ink and some Soft Suede Ink. After I got the color I liked, I took my Spritzer and sprayed a tiny bit of water on the blended colors, then dabbed off any tiny little water spots still on the paper with a paper towel. This creates a little bubble effect in which a freshly poured beer may have. For the beer flight tasting glasses - everything was done with die cuts from the Brewed Dies. The paper is Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake and Basic White cardstock (in which I colored with my Blending Brushes). The DSP is the upcoming catalog as well, it is called He's The Man - it is 12 X12 with 12 sheets of 2 each of 5 double sided designs and then 2 sheet of die-cut punch out designs that coordinate with several of the more masculine stamp sets being offered in the new annual catalog. The sentiment is from the Nothing's Better Than Stamp Set which is carrying over to this next catalog. The die I used is from Ornate Frames - which sadly is not being carried over :( ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ The second card features the beer mugs and the growler. Again, the beer, the sentiment tag, the growler and the foam are all blended colors to achieve that beer look! I used Basic White card stock - for the foam I used Grey Granite and for the Growler I used Cinnamon Cider and Soft Suede inks. These mugs were stamped twice - once in the white card stock and once on my beer blended paper, then die cut and layered over each other. This sentiment comes with the Brewed for You set. The round die cut behind the growler will be available in the next catalog as well - in the He's All that Bundle. Same Bundle that coordinates with the DSP I used on these cards. ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ๐บ The 3D item I made this month is a gift card holder. This is perfect for where I live, anytime any of the guys in our neighborhood lend a hand with a project - they are always paid back in either a gift card for the local brewery or a 6 pack of beer - so I think this stamp set is going to get a lot of use! The base of this gift card is one piece of cardstock 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" - I used Crumb Cake here DSP piece 4" X 5 1/4" - again I used a new DSP from the upcoming catalog, He's The Man DSP The next layer is a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock that measures 4 1/4" X 8 3/4" that is scored at 3 1/4" and 6 1/2". After I applied the coordinating DSP to the shortest flap that will be folded up to make the gift card pocket - I punched a thumb grab for the gift card. I placed a piece of the blended cardstock on the inside of the pocket before I glued down the sides of the pocket that forms the gift card holder. I added the coordinating DSP to the inside top flap and the Thank You sentiment I used is from the Plentiful Plants Stamp set that is also going forward in the next catalog. I used the same circle die I used on the second card on some blended "beer paper" and stamped it with the Oh, Ale Yes! in Early Espresso Ink and adhered it to my little gift card pocket. For the front flap of the card holder I blended the beer and the growler on white card stock and stamped them with black ink and die cut the pieces. This sentiment comes with the Brewed for You set and I used the Stitched Rectangle die and popped it up with Dimensionals. This whole card holder trifold was then adhered to the middle of the card base. I hope you enjoyed my blended Beers!! Now it is on to see what everyone else has created:

Welcome to this monthโs One Stamp At a Time (OSAT) Blog Hop! I am very excited to be asked to join in the blog hop. Excited, but nervous! This month's theme is masculine cards. We each have to design a card and project for posting. This month I have used one of the new in colors from the 2015-2016 Stampin' Up catalog - Tip Top Taupe. The card is titled "Traveling Man". I used the Tip Top Taupe for the card base and to cover the pocket journal. The World Map stamp was used for the background of both items. The stamping was Tip Top Taupe ink on Very Vanilla paper. I lightly stamped the World Stamp image behind the Train image by stamping off first. The card was accented with metal buttons and twine. The sentiment was from the B.Y.O.P. stamp set. The metal mini brads and square punch helped to finish the "Happy Birthday" banner. When thinking about the project portion of this challenge, I wanted to create something that I thought men in my life might use. This pocket journal was created by using a miniature composition book purchased at the local Dollar General store (3/$1). I covered the outside in the Tip Top Taupe and layered the images. I added a couple of mini metal brads, used dimensionals to "pop" the image and added the natural twine to help keep the journal closed. I hope you are enjoying the blog hop, whether you started with me or if you just popped over from Maggie Mata's blog. Everyone always has such wonderful projects to share, I always enjoy getting inspiration from others. Be sure to check out the other blogs listed below. Hi and welcome to Mitosu Crafts in the UK. It's Jay Soriano here, with my project ideas for the OSAT Design Team Blog Hop You may have arrived here from Stamp Candy by Candy Ford if you're following the hop already. If you started here, make sure you continue your way to all the Design Team's blog from the list at the end of this post. You will find amazing ideas & inspirations with the theme of 'Happily Ever After' using Stampin' Up! products For my projects today, I have combined Petal Palette and Petals & More Bundle from the 2018 Spring/Summer Occasions Catalogue with the Window Box Thinlits from the Annual Catalogue. I created a Wedding Table Number Card and a Hexagonal Base Card Decoration There are a lot of elements for this Wedding Table Number Card idea as always I just get carried away creating. It's ideal for a small Wedding or could be simplified for a larger reception. The base card can also be turned into a Place Card by changing the number into a guest name Whisper White Thick Card 5 5/16" x 5" Scored at 2 1/2" only until 13/16" from both ends (to not have a score line running through the centre) Use the Window Box Thinlit to partially die cut from the top down to the score lines then cut the top tab off for a cleaner look Die cut the hexagonal design and use the same die as a stencil to draw then cut the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper backing Folded in half and decorate with the Petal Palette and Petals & More Bundle coloured with the Stampin' Blends Die cut numbers from Large Numbers Framelits twice and offset The small hearts were off cuts from the Hexagonal Base Table Decoration using one of the dies from the Window Box Thinlits It's been a year since I've designed the Hexagonal Base card so I thought to re-visit and update the design using new products I have used the same decoration elements from the Table Number project above. We've only recently got the Petal Palette Bundle and it's been our most used products! With 15 stamps and 10 dies, the possibilities are endless, plus a 10% saving is always a bonus! On top of that, if ordered before the end of March, you will earn a FREE item from the Sale-A-Bration brochure!!! Check out the video demonstration on how you can create your own Hexagonal Base Pop Up Card #createwithmitosu #hexagonalbase #popup Whisper White Thick Card 3 9/16" x 5 3/8" Glimmer Paper 3 13/16" x 5 1/2" Glimmer Panels 1 5/8" x 1 5/8" Whisper White Thick Panels 1 7/16" x 1 7/16" Like before, this folds flat for easy storage, posting or travelling. Happy February to all of you! Welcome to the Fedruary edition of the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!!! We are back this month with a fun "Don't Go Breakin My Heart" theme. So there is a chance this hop won't just be Valentines. I know that I can't wait to see what my 22 Stampin' Up! Friends have come up with! So when I started making this months creations, I didn't want to be predictable. When I sat down yesterday to make my creations, I can tell you that what I actually came up with wasn't what I was expecting. I mean we all know that the quickest way to a mans heart is his stomach! It is a good thing I am a good cook! Let's get to the good stuff! I just received the Apron of Love Bundle on Monday! I couldn't wait to ink it up and play with it! Truthfully, I was going to use it with the Painted with Love DSP... It wasn't working for me. When I realized I still had some of the Birthday Memories DSP, the cute little girl with the cupcakes were such a cute "love" idea. I die cut the one on the card with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I layered this onto a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. This is when the Apron of Love Bundle came out to play. I stamped the sentiment using Crumb Cake ink and made a nice little banner using the Triple Banner Punch. I added the scalloped trim using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch with Marina Mist Card stock. I set both items aside and created my layout using a card base of Marina Mist along with a matte of Blushing Bride. I matted the 2" strip of Sweet Soiree DSP onto a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock with a simple trim of Silver Bakers Twine. Finally I die cut the baking utensils using Silver Foil. My cute little spatula needed a small piece of Whisper White so it looked real. I even inked it a bit with the light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blend marker so it looked as though it had frosting on it. A nice Real Red heart was a perfect accent. I added all the elements to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. I have given you a closer look at the card below. So my coordinating box is a bit simple, but sometimes simple is good right? I put the same piece of Sweet Soiree DSP as I used on the card on the top using Liquid Multipurpose Glue and then fussy cut the girl from the DSP. I wasn't sure what to do at this point so I decided to use my Lots of Love Bundle and stamp a Blushing Bride heart onto Whisper White card stock. I put the girl on the heart and tied the same twine around the box with the cute little oven mitt tag from the Apron Of Love. Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to tour the whole hop! Next on the list is my very dear friend Jeanna Bohanon! She has created the cutest... Well... I will let you look for yourself! The list is below for you to navigate the hop! Have a great day!
Hello and Welcome to the June 2022 Edition of the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! This month's theme is the Great Outdoors! I absolutely love Masculine cards and all things Nature, so this month will be one of my favorites! If you have already been hopping, thank you for continuing on! If you are starting with my blog, please make sure that you hop all the way through for some amazing inspiration!! I absolutely adore the Wildlife Wonder Stamp Set! It is perfect for masculine cards and has awesome sentiments in great mixed fonts! I accented my Crumb Cake card base with Pretty Prints DSP in Bermuda Bay. Of course I had to add a few splatters with my Basic Black Stampin' Write Marker. The stamp set has amazing art work whether you stamp it on watercolor paper like I did on this card and use a water painter to fill in or create the grounding or stamp as intended as I did on the inside of my card! The artwork on these Wildlife images is just so well done! I love these Peekaboo Treat Bags. They are perfect for a little treat or to use as a gift card holder as I did. This Kraft treat bag is perfect for a masculine project because you can add a simple tag using the Tailor Made Tags Dies and you are done! Sometimes the simplest things are the cutest! Thanks so much for hopping along! To continue, please click the name directly under mine on the below blog roll! Blessings, Tina
Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where the sun has finally made an appearance and we are loving it!! I made a two projects using the Adventurous Journey stamp set- which unfortunately is no longer available since it sold out once they put it on the Last Chance List. I am participating in the One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop and this month's theme is Weather or Not. You will see the links to the other talented bloggers participating in this hop at the end of my post. We normally make 2 projects for this hop, so I made a card and a little sign for the all the kayak enthusiasts here on the little lake I live on. I love this time of the year when the sun is finally shinning around here and things are warming up - people have started to pull out their kayaks and take an early ride while the lake is still quiet. Another month the lake will be in full swing and busy with all sorts of boat activity. For my card I partnered the Adventurous Journey stamp set with the Rays of Light background stamp for the sun shining off the water. The water was done with my Blending Blending Brushes and then sprinkled a bit of water on the paper and dabbed it off with a paper towel to get some spotted effects. I colored my kayaker with Stampin' Blends and fussy cut him (or her) out with my Paper Snips. The sentiment is from the Nested Birds stamp and cut out with a stitched oval from the Mini Pocket Envelope die set. A view from my kayak!! My sign is made on a wood block that I purchased at a craft outlet for 50 cents and was already painted white - so sorry - I don't know what kind of paint it was. Again I used Balmy Blue ink and my Blending Brushes to make the background a light blue, stamped, colored and fussy cut the kayaker out. I stamped the water circles on with Balmy Blue ink. The letters are cut out with the Alphabet A La Mode dies that are carrying over to the new catalog. The heart in the middle is from the Sentiments Silhouettes die set. These are all just glued down with liquid adhesive. I hope you enjoyed these projects! Now it is on to see what everyone else has made for this hop!

Welcome to The OSAT Bundle Blog Hop! Whether this is your first stop or you are joining in from another blog, Welcome to The Creativity Cave! I am Dena Rekow and I am so excited you are here! This
Welcome to our first blog hop of 2020!!!! I'm so glad you have decided to hop with us today. This is going to be an amazing hop this month. This is the start of our new Jan-June mini catalog and also Sale-a-bration. It's the greatest time of the SU year!!! So let's get started. I knew I wanted to do something for my 3D project this month that could go on my Valentine tree and I happened to find these wooden hang tags in our local Dollar General. There were 8 tags for $1.50, so that is the direction I went and I wanted to use our new lovely Parisian Bundle. I used our Liquid Glue to glue the DSP to the wooden tag and then used the coordinating dies and stamp set from the bundle/suite to embellish them. These are the tags I found at the Dollar General Here are the tags hanging on my rose gold Valentine tree. I used some of the dies from the Be Mine dies as well to embellish. Here is my card using the same DSP and the Eiffel Tower die. I chose to use Sparkle Glimmer Paper and the beautiful Country Floral 3D embossing folder to give this card some bling. The picture doesn't really do it justice. It's so sparkly. Well thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my projects. I will post pictures later next week when I get my tree done. I love to decorate for all the holidays. Today I'm sharing my projects for the OSAT Blog Hop! This month our theme is End of Summer Tic Tac Toe and I'm featuring the gorgeous Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper. Of course it isn't the end of summer for us here in the Southern Hemisphere but it's easy to get into the swing of things with summer on its way! I've chosen the first column - Ribbon, DSP and Flowers - for my projects. It's my friend's birthday today and I've created this with her in mind! How cute is this mini clipboard? A piece of board has been covered in the Designer Series Paper using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue and the Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon has been glued under the note paper to create a loop for the pen. Flowers and a leaf from the DSP have been fussy cut and added to the note paper. "Just a Note ..." is stamped in Rich Razzleberry and is from the Better Together stamp set and the pieces of ribbon are tied around a Gold Library Clip. The Tea Room Specialty Designer Series Paper is so pretty I wanted to cover as little of it up as possible! "Happy Birthday" is from the Botanical Bliss Stamp set and is stamped in Coastal Cabana. It has a Colored Doily (reverse side) attached to the bottom and several loops of Silver Metallic Thread under it. A strip of Rich Razzleberry Velvet Ribbon, a bow in Whisper White Baker's Twine and three Clear Rhinestones complete the look! I hope you have enjoyed my projects today! Please use the links below to continue on the hop with us! There'll be lots of inspirational projects - you won't want to miss any!
Hi There and Welcome to the March 2020 One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop "Chick Ewe Out". This month's theme is all about Animals or Easter.. our pick! If you have aleady been hopping, thanks so much for continuing! If you are starting with me, please make sure that you check out all of the fabulous inspiration along the way! There is a blog roll at the end of the post that will take you to the next Blog! I'm sure you'll be amazed at the cards and projects shared! I went with Animals instead of Easter and used a combination of the Wildly Happy Stamp Set and the beautiful Tropical Oasis Designer Series Paper. I used Pretty Peacock for my cardbase and two pieces of the Tropical Oasis DSP layered onto each other and then cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies and added a thin matt of Pool Party Cardsock. i loved this DSP paired with the Elephants. It really looked like a jungle in the background! The elephant image from the Wildly Happy Stamp Set was stamped onto Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I used my Stampin' Blends in Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Petal Pink, Light Pool Party and Light and Dark Mossy Meadow. I colored everything in prior to cutting it into a Stitched Circle with my Stitched Shapes Dies. Since I'm not usally that great and doing skys or backgrounds, I used a combination of Light Pool Party and Light Petal Pink in sideways strokes for the sky and I love how it turned out. I stamped the sentiment on the lower light green portion of the DSP in versamark and embossed it in black. I ran some Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding around the panel and tied it on the right side and then attached the Circle with Stampin' Dimensionals in the upper and lower section avoiding the seam binding. I cut my Curvy Keepsake Box from Tropical Oasis DSP and kept the tag super simple by stamping it in Memento Tuxedo Black on Whisper White and punch a small hole in the top and then adding more of the Crinkled Seam Binding. Thanks so much for stopping by! Hey there! Welcome welcome to the OSAT blog hop for May. For those who follow this blog hop on a regular basis, I'm sure you wondered what happened to me. Maybe you thought they kicked me out!?!?! LOL! I was afraid they might. I've been missing in the stamping world for going on 5 months. My dad has been sick and in the hospital three times since January 3. It's been quite the ride. My mom doesn't like to be left alone so me and my sisters have been staying with them. My daddy is a tough brave man and is now home and regaining his strength. I'm so proud of him. So that is basically what I've been up to and when I am home, I sleep. I now know the real meaning of exhaustion. My stamp room is a sight to behold, but I was able to throw something together for this hop yesterday while I went home for awhile, since we have an aid a couple of days a week. This bundle was something I bought from the January - June mini catalog and hadn't even had a chance to use it. I hope you like what I came up with. I Thank you for stopping by. It's been so good to hop this month and to try and get back into the swing of things. Please click on the next name in the list below to continue on the hop. Spring is just around the corner, and even though nothing is blooming yet here in Ohio (no lie, it is snowing as I type this!) - things are blooming all over my desk as I work on my spring cards. I am joining the One Stamp at a Time Blog Hop today for their March Blooms Blog Hop. All of the links to the other creative card makers will be at the bottom of my post. I chose the Ranunculus Romance Bundle to make my Card and 3D project for my entry into the hop. I love these flowers but hate their name!! It is too hard to pronounce and spell!! But I love all the tight layers of pedals on these beautiful flowers. This card starts with a Basic Grey card base, a So Saffron mat layer and a background layer of a white washed wood DSP from the Heart & Home DSP pack. I cut a rectangle of Basic Grey and then topped that with a torn piece of the Layering Designs Vellum. I did all of my flower pieces by coloring right on the stamp with Stampin' Write Markers, this way I could easily get the stems green and the flowers in different colors. I added a sprig of greenery from the die set using Pear Pizzaz and a bow with the Gray Granite Bakers Twine. Although they don't show up real well in the photos I also popped on 3 clear gems from the Elegant Faceted Gems just to add a little sparkle. For my 3D item - I made a little Post It Note cover and embellished it with the large Ranunculus Die cut flower. The bottom layer of the flower was made using the Blending Brushes and a variety of yellow and Pale Papaya inks. The measurements for this little folder are as follows: Base - 8 1/2" x 3 1/4" Scored at 2 1/2", 2 3/4", 5 3/4", 6" DSP - 2 pieces at 2 1/4" x 3" and 1 piece at 2 7/8" X 3" Now, this was for the pack of Post It notes that I had - some are thicker so you will have to check the size of your pack to make sure this will work. The Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon ties are tucked under the front DSP and the back DSP to tie and close the folder. I hope you enjoyed my card and cute note pad! Please follow the links to see what everyone else has blooming!!

Hello everyone, I'm joining my OSAT Facebook friends for the September OSAT blog hop and I'm so excited to show off some "new to me" products this month! You should have arrived here from the the very talented Elizabeth Jeanne's page. If not, please head back so you don't miss a thing! This time around, I've chosen to make 2 cards. First up is a square card using Taylored Expressions "Big Kahuna" stamp and die set. After copic coloring them, I cut the white background using Lil' Inkers stitched squares, circle cut the white cardstock and mounted on MFT Banana Split cardstock. To shade the sun I used a combination of Fossilized Amber and Wild Honey Ranger Distress Inks. Using foam tape, I popped the white square off the green leafy paper by Doodlebug from the "Springtime" pack. I ended up popping the Woody and the little beach ball up with some foam tape too! This card makes me so happy, I love this set by TE, it was a joy to work with! So next up is a card I made using the Penny Black "Man's Best Friend" stamp set. I stamped it out on MFT Natural cardstock and copic colored. Then I cut out using MFT stitched rounded square dies and layered on GinaK Chocolate cardstock and some gold-ish shimmer paper from my stock. I cut the paws out with MFT Die-namics Pet Accents dies and then cut them again on B/W polka dot paper and glued in the pieces. Finished of with some twine and champagne rhinestones. Oh! The bone was colored in using Perfect Pearls, I kinda like the look of it! So that's it for me, thank you for stopping by, feel free to follow my blog and or/leave a comment. I love to hear from you! Hello My Friends! How are you today? The OSAT design team is hopping today and featuring all the NEW things!! YAY!! I chose to share some fun "Snail Mail" projects with you because I just love these little cuties! I love easel cards, and the products in the Snail Mail Suite make a fabulous one. The contrast of Real Red and Blushing Bride is so pretty with a bit of Bumble Bee and Bermuda Bay mixed in for good measure. The stamp set has coordinating dies that cut the mushrooms, that adorable snail, and the Happy Mail envelope. Gosh! They're SOOOO CUTE! I decided to make a coordinating treat holder to go along with my card. This one is terrific because it's a "NO GLUE" type of box. I love that the lid and the body of the box are one piece of cardstock! It's simple enough to make a bunch for a party or for Valentine's Day at your child's school. And of course, it holds my favorite candy! Around Valentine's Day, Lindor releases their Strawberry & Cream Lindt Truffles. YUUUUUM!!! It's just a bonus that the wrapper coordinates with my projects. hehe. I got the inspiration for the box from a fellow demonstrator and I just love how works up! Here's a template for the base. Start with a 4 1/2" x 6 1/2" piece of Real Red Cardstock. Then, score according to the template. Once you've scored all the lines on the template, you'll score across each of the corners to create a fold. This is what forms the box. Then, cut away the bits on the lid as shown on the template. No gluing needed! Fabulous right? :-D It's such a fun little box! I hope you enjoyed my projects, friends. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to Corner of Plaid and Paisley where I have been creating cards with the new Earthen Textures Bundle for the One Stamp at a Time Blog hop! This month's theme for the blog hop is Pick Two and Something New. We are to be using two core colors and one new In Color for this challenge. (neutrals don't count!) I choose to work with the Earthen Textures Bundle with the two core colors of Crumb Cake and Misty Moonlight and the new In Color of Copper Clay. On the first card I started with a Crumb Cake card base, the next layer is a nice denim/wood look DSP from the Let's Go Fishing DSP pack - by far my favorite piece of DSP!!! I would make all my cards with this paper if I could!! Anyone who knows me - knows I like denim!! Next, I did a mat layer of Misty Moonlight and another DSP piece from the Let's Go Fishing pack of 12"x12" paper - it is a real faint map - this is my background piece to the vases or pots. Some of the pots are with the Earthen Elegance DSP and some with the Fishing DSP. I filled the pots with some Early Espresso sticks, Crumb Cake palm spears, and Copper Clay needle branches all cut with the Earthen Textures Dies. I used the Natural Wavy Trim to decorate one of the pots and added some In Color Dots to finish off this card. ******************** For my second card I used the Gone Fishing Die for the tackle box lid and cut off the hinge parts to make a curio box display for my pots and branches. I had to modify the large pot by cutting it down two different ways to get short enough vessels to fit in the top left hand corner! Now let's check out what the other creative card maker's have come up with! Blog Hop Index
Hey Everybody and welcome to this month's One Stamp At a Time Blog Hop! I have so much exciting news to share with you but today I'm going to have to keep my post short because I've got a wicked cold
Welcome to this months One Stamp At A Time Blog! This month we are featuring Halloween and Fall themed projects. This past week I held a fun Halloween Themed Card Class at a local coffee shop called t
Welcome to a fun post where I am featuring the Silly Goose Stamp Set for the OSAT Blog Hop this month. This month's theme is Fuzzy Buzzy Friends! Our challenge was to make two projects with anything that would include animals or insects!! When I saw the Silly Goose stamp set in the January- April mini catalog it made me laugh. Honestly, I immediately thought of my son who is a teacher - since they can no longer give hugs - he always says to his students - fist bumps only!! So the two ducks giving "Goose Bumps" sold me!! I used the new bumpy embossing folder that is one of the new Online Exclusive products-Basics 3D Embossing Folders - (where there are three different embossing folders bundled together) I hope you can see the texture in my photo - It deserved to go with the goose bumps! The colors I used are Balmy Blue for the base, Pacific Point for the embossed layer, a layer of black and the Basic White. I stamped the image and just colored with my Stampin Blends - I don't think you have to be perfect with your coloring - I think it looks more like a sky with some lines and different shading to the Balmy Blue coloring. ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ For my 3D project I made a box for a mini Grey Goose Vodka bottle - What better to go with the THANKS goose stamp. I pulled out some of the Sun Prints DSP to cover the box - this is beautiful paper but I could not help thinking that this particular piece kind of reminded me of the mess the geese leave on our dock!! We live on a little lake and the geese are not always our friends! But since we live on this little lake - the guys are often helping each other out - pulling the boat lifts in, repairing boats, etc. and it is always nice to give a little thank you. So this box was meant to be very masculine but fun because they don't really want gifts! I started with a full sheet of Thick White Card stock 8 1/2" X 11" - see the directions above as how to score it and then cut into the edges to form the flaps. I made an insert piece out of the blue measuring 5 3/4" by 5 1/2" Scoring on the longer side at 1 1/2", 2 3/4"& 4" Make a mountain fold out of the middle scored pieces (they should each be 1 1/4" wide and glue those together to make your divider. I made a belly band with the grey DSP from the same pack, Sun Prints. The tag has three layers - black, Pacific Point and Basic White - cut twice to size with the Deckled Rectangles Dies. I colored my Goose with Stampin Blends and added a few Enamel Dot Essentials at the corners. ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ๐ผ We have a small group hopping today so I hope you take the time to see what the other talented card makers have come up with!!
