Pear Pizzazz with Fancy Flora Hello. Welcome to Valley Inspirations with Andrea and the Art with Heart Colour Creations Blog Hop. We are...
Hello and welcome, My name is Vicki Boucher and I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Today, I'll be sharing with you the fourth of many blog hops. It's Week 4 of Colour Creations with the Art With Heart Team in Australia. This week's colour is Pebbled Path which is part of the In Color Collection for 2023 - 2025 and Stampin' Up! have created another beautiful new color to create with. I've used it with Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Basic White and I added some bling by using that gorgeous More Dazzle Specialty Paper in Champagne. I had some left over daisies from a project I created on the weekend, and I wanted to use them again. The White heat embossed daisies from the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set are stunning and when you add colour either with a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber. It can give you a wow factor to your projects! I wanted to try out these colours together and I was very happy on how they turned out. The torn Basic White Cardstock was also left over from a previous card, I added Pebbled Path ink with the Blending Brush and Splattered ink by using the brush tip from the new Stampin' Up! markers. The other panel in Pebbled Path Cardstock is also torn down the side and dried embossed using the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. I love to add texture and other elements to the card by adding other tools such as the Textured Floral Dies in die-cut out in Crumb Cake Cardstock. Linen Thread goes really well with Pebbled Path and my new favourite embellishment are the Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems. The sentiment is stamped in Pebbled Path ink using the Go To Greetings Stamp Set. Thank you for visiting my blog today, I would so love to hear your thoughts on my projects by leaving a comment below. Now for the next blog please visit the very talented Andrea Sargent on the link below. It is time for another tutorial for the Global Stampin’ Video Hop on YouTube. Each month on the fourth Friday Stampin’ Up Demonstrators from around the world come together and share their projects based on a monthly theme. December’s Theme is NEW YEARS and/or SALE-A-BRATRION PRODUCTS. Sale-a-bration at Stampin’ Up is such a fun time. With every qualifying order between January 5 and February 28 2023 you can get a free product. There are two different qualifying levels the first is a $50 order and the second is $100 order. If you live in the United States and would like a copy of your own Sale-a-bration catalog please click on the link below and I will send one to you. https://forms.gle/oiCUtjj6YGjUXwLi9 I recently received a couple of the Sale-a-bration items and wanted to play with them. I decided to use two products that I wouldn’t usually use together. The THANKS A BUNCH STAMP SET & FAVORED FLOWERS DSP. I also wanted to mix and match the colors in the DSP so I made a set of 6 cards using the same stamped images. Make sure to check out what everyone makes for this monthly Video Hop. You can start with my video, I have linked it below. You can find the next video at the top of the video’s description on YouTube. Have fun! I used 4” Natural Finish Ribbon. Fray the ends. If you want more color you can also make a faux bow with the NEW Pumpkin Pie Bakers Twine (Three Twine Combo Pack). 7- Stamp your greeting in Evening Evergreen ink and punch with the Label Me Fancy Punch. I'm excited to formally introduce you to our new 2023-2025 In Colors. I'll be honest here, I didn't love them all at first, but I'm learning to love them the more I use them and they're going to work GREAT for fall projects! All of my card are identical and use the exact same products. I added a Misty Moonlight ruler to all of them for an extra pop. Misty Moonlight is a returning In Color now in our Neutrals group and I love it! I used the Crafting With You Bundle and I couldn't be more in love with those scissors and the paper trimmer dies!! How cute is it too that we have our own Cut and Emboss Machine stamp?! So fun! All the scissors are made with Silver Foil for their blades and a silver Festive Pearl for the bolt. See more with the new In Colors here. First up is Pebbled Path. I really love this tone. When paired with browns it's more brown, when paired with grays it's more gray. It's a good color. This one might actually be my favorite of the five. Next up is Moody Mauve. When I first saw this color I immediately thought of our old Rococo Rose In Color. I used that one a bunch. This one is more purplish I think then Rococo Rose was but it's a really pretty color. I'm excited to use this one more. Boho Blue is the next one. We had a sneak peek of Boho Blue during Sale-a-Bration. You might remember the Mini Boho Blue Cut and Emboss Machine. I love mine! Boho Blue is going to coordinate beautifully with our other blues like Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy. We've reached Wild Wheat. This is going to be a controversial color this year. I think people will have strong opinions for this one. You might really hate it. Trust me I get it. I was in that boat too, but the more I use it the more it grows on me. Is it my favorite, no. Will it be my favorite, no. But I think there's a place for it for sure. Finally we have Copper Clay. I was worried about this one because you might be aware of my dislike for Cajun Craze. I'm happy to report that this one isn't as red a Cajun Craze. This one will be a great go to for fall. So what do you think? Do you have favorites? I'd love to know your thoughts on this years In Colors. Shop my Online Store. Thanks for looking, see you soon!!! Hi everyone, Have you seen the Art In Bloom stamp set and bundle in the annual catalogue? This is different to any other embossing folder and dies from Stampin’ Up! The die for the 3 large flowers fit into the embossing folder and the card is cut and embossed all at once. They can also be used separately as normal. The Bloom Hybrid Embossing Folder (#155989) includes the folder and Bloom dies and also is available with the Art In Bloom stamp set (#155085) which gives you the Art In Bloom Bundle (#158368). The Soft Succulent card front (#155777) was embossed with the embossing folder. I stamped the flowers onto the Basic White card (#159228) using Pale Papaya ink (#155670). This was then cut and embossed with the die and embossing folder. I attached the stamped flowers on top of the embossed flowers on the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The leaves from the same stamp set were stamped with Soft Succulent ink (#155778). These leaves and the detailed leaves from Evening Evergreen card (#155575) and the small flowers from the Pale Papaya card (#155669) were also cut with the Bloom dies. These were attached to the card with the Fine-Tip Glue Pen (#138309). “Congratulations” is from the Art Gallery stamp set (#158201) and stamped with Evening Evergreen ink (#155576). I cut this with a Stitched Rectangles Die 151820) and attached it to a piece of the 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (#155641). Have a great day. “Love what you do and share what you love.” lesleyjendra.stampinup.net [email protected]
