These adorable reindeers are what started this whole thing. I had this idea one morning and while the kids were away I put it into action and created 9 adorable reindeers. They're all created the same so it was just a matter of mass assembly. Their heads are created with a new ornament punch in the Holiday Catalog. I simply trimmed off the top of the ornament. Their noses are 1/2" Circle Punch and their antlers are branches that come with the Mini Curvy Keepsake Dies. That's it!!! I added some bells to them, of course! I used googlie eyes for them cause it's so cute! I ended up adding tails to them by trimming the middle out of the Everyday Label Punch. The reindeers are all cut out of Soft Suede and their antlers from Crumb Cake. I gave all but one an Early Espresso Nose. Rudolph of course has a Real Red nose. After the reindeer were made I *HAD* to have a sleigh. So trial and error I ended up creating one I like. I created this free PDF tutorial on the sleigh. I love this project so much. I think it would be so cute on a holiday table, buffet or anywhere. You could fill the sleigh with candy or other treats then at the end of the night everyone could take a reindeer home. So cute!!!!! Our favorite way to embellish them is by cutting the pieces in half on the top so you can open it with out having to take all the cute stuff off. The clips worked great for this. If we put all the ribbon and on the clip it was easy to put back on after you open it. See how we cut our pieces in half. To use 2 different sides, fold your paper like the picture shows. Today I have another sneak peek for you. This Mini Curvy Keepsake Box is my first Christmas share from the upcoming Holiday mini. It is just sooooo stinkin' cute!!! I love the size and also the Holly and Berry stamp is beautiful. It is from the Christmas Gleaming stamp set. A beautiful new set, I will have more to share with that later, it amazing! I stamped the Holly image with Stack Stazon and colored with my Aqua Painter and ink pads. I fussy cut it out and put aside to make my box. I die cut the box using a piece of DSP from the Let it Snow pack. I also die cut two ovals from the Mini Curvy Keepsakes Dies set, one for my sentiment and one for the Holly leaves. The "Joy" came from the "Hearts Come Home" stamp set from last year, that is no longer available. I layered the two die cut ovals together and ran two pieces of white twine through the holes to attach them to the box. I ran the twine through the handles of the box and tied a pretty bow. I then used dimensionals to add the Holly image to the oval. I used my Wink of Stella pen all over the Holly and Berry image. It adds a really pretty shimmer. These adorable mini Elf treat boxes have a black belly band with a gold buckle and a red collar adorned with gold flatback pearls. Each box comes with a white tag with twine and a sentiment saying "North Pole Certified". These mini elf treat boxes are perfect to hide treasures for family, friends, teachers, school parties, classroom gifts, co-workers, neighbors, or party guests. Hello Everyone, Hope you all are enjoying your long holiday weekend! Today, I wanted to share a little sneak peek from the Holiday Catalog which goes live Sept. 4th!!!! So excited!!! Hello and welcome back to another Curvy Keepsake Wednesday... This weeks Curvy Keepsake Box was kind of inspired by a trip to the Disney Store in London. We were in London to see The Lion King, which was truly amazing and of course a trip to the Disney Store is an absolute must.....lol. Here is my Bestie posing inside the pumpkin, loved how they did this, on one side you had the pumpkin and on the other side you had the beautiful carriage below. Anyway on to the Curvy Keepsake Box.... So here we have Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage, I started off with a Pumpkin Pie Curvy Keepsake Box. I used my pumpkin Pie Marker to draw curved lines on each panel, then I cut out a window on each side using the 1 1/4" circle punch. I used the Dazzling Details to go over the marker lines to add some sparkle. Then I cut out two 1 3/4" vellum Circles and using the White Gel Pen I drew some curtains on the vellum and then stuck them to the inside over the circle windows. For the decoration I cut out two of the smallest leaves from the Leaflets Framelits and layered them with some thin curled card, I tied them together with some Bakers Twine and stuck them to the box with some glue dots. I made a tiny hitch using the Word Window Punch and stuck it to the underneath of the box. I made some wheels using the 1" circle and the 1 1/4" circle layered them and added some detail. Then I attached them to some cocktail sticks with dimensionals and then to the bottom of the box. I added extra pieces of thin curled card to the bottom of the box to finish it off. Finally I made a tiny leaf tag using Teeny Tiny Sentiments and a leaf from the Leaflets Framelits, held on with a tiny peg. I hope you like,thanks for stopping by.... Happy Creating X
