Hello and welcome to Day Five of MFT’s April Release Countdown!! April!!! Say it isn’t SO!!! Yes, time is flying, as usual. We have another amazing release just around the corner and today is the first day of peeks. Release is on April 9th at 10am Eastern so mark your calendars now. Today we’re previewing Picture Perfect Stamp Set, Selfie Square Die-namics, Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics, #Captions Die-namics, Photo Booth Strip Die-namics, Square Shaker Pouches, and Square Shaker Trio Pouches. Be sure to stop by the MFT Blog for all of today’s details and to see more samples from the MFT Design Team. For today’s card I’m using Picture Perfect Stamp Set and Selfie Square Die-namics from the April release. To create my card I started with a Sweet Tooth card stock base then applied a watercolor wash to Ranger watercolor paper and after it dried splattered it with black and silver acrylic ink. When THAT was dry I matted it with Black Licorice card stock and popped it up on the card base with foam tape. Next I stamped the image on No Line Coloring card stock with Extreme Black hybrid ink and colored it with Copic markers. To create my “phone” frame, I cut Silver Shine card stock with Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX. Next I trimmed some Black Licorice card stock to fit it, cut Selfie Square Di-namics from the center, and heat embossed the sentiment and heart from the set and the arrow from Interactive Labels Stamp Set. I added the dots by hand. The frame was adhered with foam tape and then the whole thing to the card base directly. In the above photo you can see how the frame shines. To finish off I added another sentiment, stamped on Sweet Tooth card stock cut with Essential Speech Bubbles and accented with a Red Hot card stock heart cut with Tag Builder Blueprints 6. And that’s it from me for Day Five of MFT’s April Release Countdown! Thanks so much for stopping by! See you back tomorrow for Day Four! All products from My Favorite Things unless otherwise noted. Hello friends! Can you believe that it's time to start the newest MFT Stamps Product Release Countdown? I'm so excited to share some of these new items with you over the next few days. You're going to love the April release! My card today features the newest stamp set from Birdie Brown called Picture Perfect. Don't you just love those photo-bombing cuties!? I had a lot of fun creating this card. I first stamped all of my images with some Memento Tuxedo Black Ink onto a sheet of Neenah Solar White 110lb Card Stock (my favorite!). I then colored all of my images with Copic Sketch Markers. Copic Colors Used: Monkey (Dark Fur): E31, E33, E23, E25, E29 Monkey (Light Fur): E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04 Monkey (Green Background): YG01, YG05 Cat (Black & White): 0, C00, C1, C2, C4, C5, C8, C10 Cat (Brown): E0000, E000, E21, E11, E04 Cats (Blue Background): B00, B02 Hamsters (White Portion): 0, C00, C1, C2, C4 Hamsters (Light Brown): YR00, YR02, Y17, Y35, E35 Hamsters (Dark Brown): E23, E25, E29, E49 Hamsters (Purple Background): BV00, BV01 Once I was finished coloring, I then cut out my images with the new Selfie Square Die-namic. I also diecut three Polaroid frames from White Card Stock using the new Polaroid Shaker Frame. I glued each of the "photos" to the back of each frame so that it would look like three separate Polaroid photos. For the base of my card, I cut a piece of White Card Stock at 8.5" x 7" and scored along the 7" side at 3.5". To this #8 sized base, I added a panel of Kraft Card Stock cut to 8.25" x 3.25". I then added each Polaroid picture to the front of the card using some 3D Foam Tape for some added dimension. The newest release will be available this coming Tuesday, April 9th at 10 AM EDT. Head on over to the MFT Blog for more sneak peeks and leave a comment there for a chance to win a $75 MFT Gift Voucher! I'll be back tomorrow to share another amazing new product! Thanks so much for dropping by! If you liked this card and want some more crafty inspiration, don't forget to check out my INSTAGRAM feed! Happy Card Making! ♥ Rachel

Hello and thank you for stopping by! I hope you are all having a great hump day. For my card today, I used the MFT Picture Perfect Party Animals stamp and coordinating die set to make a slimline card for the MFT Birthday Challenge. I used MFT Smooth White cardstock for the base card and MFT Milk Chocolate for the layered background paper. I stamped cupcakes and party hats on a piece of MFT Tickled Pink cardstock, using stamps from Hog Heaven and Beary Special Birthday. I colored the images in using Copic markers and then I added Glossy Accents to the balloons and icing on the cupcake. While the Glossy Accents was still wet, I added sparkles and let everything dry. Once everything was dry, I dusted off the remaining sparkles with a brush. I stamped the sentiment from the Picture Perfect Party Animals stamp set using MFT Sweet Tooth ink and embossed it with white embossing powder. I added some Studio Katia clear drops for a little extra embellishment. What a great way to celebrate a birthday, then with a colorful card! The animals are so cute and I really love the way the added sparkles light the card up. Thank you so much for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown. For the next five days, we'll be sharing cards and projects featuring all of the new products coming out on April 9th at 10am EDT. For my card today, I used the new Shutter Card Components Die-namics along with the Picture Perfect stamp set to create an interactive card with the adorable selfie characters. I created a gatefold card with shutter opening on the inside and a band closure on the front. The band wraps all the way around the card and helps to keep the card closed since there is so much going on in the inside. The selfie stamps are the perfect size to add inside the shutter opening to reveal a cute image when the card is opened up. I have a video tutorial on the MFT YouTUbe channel today sharing how I created this card from start to finish if you want to check that out. You can find the video HERE. Thanks so much for joining me for Day 4 of the April release countdown. Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for a closer look at the new products and more ideas using them. See you tomorrow for more countdown fun! Supplies: Share:facebook - twitter - pinterest MFT April Release Countdown | Day 4

This is one of a pair of cards I've created using some of the MFT Picture Perfect stamps. Today's is a bitter-sweet card, because when I coloured the image, I specifically chose the fur colours to represent my two furbabies, ginger tom Arnie and calico Pickle. But last week I had to say a final heartbreaking goodnight to my sweet baby Arnie. Seeing him 'waving' on this card is a lovely way to honour him, because he was always keen on a snuggle and the sentiment is perfect! I may have taken the odd one or two (hundred) photos of my sweet baby boy in the past, so I do have lots of pictures of him to keep his memory alive! Sleep tight little one. I miss you so much. Hi, everyone, I’m back with this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge! Are you ready? Here’s this week’s sketch. All of the details about the sketch challenge are available on the MFT Blog as well as in the weekly newsletter. The MFT Design Team will be on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to get you started. I love this sketch! The two square elements reminded me of Polaroids so that’s what I went with. I started by stamping the sloth image from BB Picture Perfect Stamp Set with Extreme Black hybrid ink on No Line Coloring card stock and colored it with Copic markers. I wanted the background to show through so I fussy cut it out and adhered it with foam mounting tape to the back of a Polaroid Shaker Frame Die-namics, cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and on which I stamped the sentiment. I then adhered it directly to a Blue Breeze card stock element. Next I prepared the background by applying a watercolor wash to Ranger Watercolor paper and splattered it with first clear water and then black acrylic ink. I tied around some baker’s twine and popped it up on foam tape to a Sweet Tooth card stock base that had been covered with Black & White Dots paper pack for the finish. And there you have it! Remember, you can get all the details by visiting the MFT Challenge Blog. You have the chance to win a $50 in MFT voucher. One winner is chosen at random each week! Thanks for stopping by! See you soon! All products from My Favorite Things unless otherwise noted. Hi everyone!! Happy Wednesday! It's time for another MFT Sketch! I love all these sketches, and this week's is another fabulous one...one I'll be using again for sure! This week, I've used the fabulous a la modes in Picture Perfect! I stamped her onto X Press It Blending Card and colored her with Copic Markers. I cut out the panel, and layered it, using the Rectangle STAX 1 Die-Namics and Rectangle STAX 2 Die-Namics. I've used the amazing Pretty Posies Die-Namics again...I really just LOVE this flower, and cut it from Razzle Berry Felt (my favorite color of MFT Felt!). I added a Kraft Button to the center tied with Hemp Cord. On the inside, I added another strip of patterned paper, which are all from Maggie Holmes by Crate Paper, and stamped "Oh Snap!" in Razzle Berry Ink. I think this sentiment is perfect for a belated Birthday card...I need those, alot (smile). Hello everyone. Today I have a few card projects using some of the products from the NEW April 2021 release from Gina K Designs. I have a video doing some very simple stamping and a few cards that I stamped by hand, just playing around. In the video I used the Go To Greetings stamp set as well as the Count it All Joy stamp set to create a simple one layer card. To check out the entire NEW release from Gina K Designs (CLICK HERE!) and visit her website where you can shop the NEW release and read the blog to find tons of inspiration using these products and much more. Continue scrolling down for more card projects. I also have this three card set using the same sentiment stamp set Go To Greetings. I love the font used in this set and spent several hours with just me and my acrylic block stamping away. I loved the results so much that I made them into cards. This first card uses a diagonal design that is much easier to pull of perfectly using the MISTI, I was just playing and eyeballed the entire thing. I was using a gray pigment ink for the majority of the stamping, then used Ranger Archival ink for the one "hello" to stand out among the rest. I added a simple pre printed sentiment from my stash by popping it up with some foam adhesive. The entire panel was popped up with black craft foam and added to a medium gray card base cut to size A2 and scored in a top folding portrait orientation. For the next card I stamped the first "hello" from the Go To Greetings stamp set and then proceeded to stamp off with the subsequent stampings aligned with the original to give an ombre effect. I also added another pre-printed "congrats" sentiment with foam adhesive. For the next card, I stamped the "hello" vertically on a piece of heavy weight white card stock and then added the "you are the coolest" horizontally in Gina K designs Whisper ink. I then added one of the solid leaf images from the "Count it All Joy" stamp set. I finished this one off with a frame die cut from black card stock and adhered with liquid adhesive. Popped it up with some craft foam and stuck it on a Fog card base, this time in an A2 side folding landscape orientation. Last, but not least I have a fun card mixing the new stamps sets with the older Crafty Notes stamp set also by Gina K Designs. For this card I stamped the epicurean board from the Count it All Joy set onto alcohol marker friendly paper with alcohol marker friendly ink by Gina K and colored it with my alcohol markers. I also stamped the watercolor palette and Washi tape images from the same set and colored those as well. I just used my scissors to fussy cut them out. I then stamped the "hello" sentiment from the Go To Greetings set with Gina K watermark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I stamped it onto watercolor paper so that I could make a piece of art to tape to my board. I watercolored it using water based markers and a water brush. I used that same marker and water brush to splatter on the same color onto a piece of plain white cardstock cut to 3 1/2 by 4 3/4 for the background. This is absolutely what I use my epicurean board for. I have two of them. It works great to handle my watercoloring in progress. I know many of my crafty friends will understand and relate. Once all of my images were colored, I popped up the board and the palette and adhered everything else using tape runner adhesive. The sentiment is another pre-printed sentiment that was there and ready for me to use. To finish it off I added a few clear water droplets from my stash. I hope I've inspired you to create something today. To see more from Gina K Designs (CLICK HERE!) to visit her website. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today, Koren
