It's Time to Buy. Your creativity is about to bloom — this flower-filled kit will inspire a bounty of beautiful looks! From an all-encompassing sentiment...
I'm happy to say that the Flower Fusion card kit from MFT Stamps is now available for purchase and this is my second card working with products from the new release. Here's what I've used:- Essential Messages Flower Fusion Stencil Set Smart Mask Hi/Low Strip Stencil This was (for me) a quick card to make and I think it is a design where you could get quite a production line going and mass produce cards, perhaps to make gift sets and those Essential Messages have got your covered for most occasions too! To create the card I took an A2 panel of white cardstock and secured it down and over the top I layered the Smart Mask Stencil. I then started with the first stencil from the Flower Fusion stencil set. I layered it over the mask. This first stencil will create the largest flowers which I did in yellow. All subsequent stencils in the set are etched with the large blooms which means the guess work is taken out of the equation, you'll know exactly where to place each stencil and this way you can quickly switch your stencils and inks and rapidly come up with the look I have achieved here with Spring colours. I removed the mask stencil and popped the decorated panel in my Misti where I triple stamped the attractive sentiment using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa. I applied the panel to my card base and with that I was done! Hope you like the card and will treat yourself to the kit or at least some parts of it. If you missed my card yesterday please keep scrolling to the next post since it uses other parts of the release. Thank you for stopping by my blog today and don't forget to visit and subscribe to the MFT You Tube Channel for endless how-to videos, inspiration and product reveals.

It's my turn over at the Muse Challenge this week. Here is my card: I am really loving the line drawn flowers I am seeing with a water colored background. Since I am awful at hand drawing, I just used the fun flowers from Hero Arts Blossom Art. I also used the giant Happy from MFT Party Balloons and the birthday from Hero Arts, Essential Messages. My background is a dot stencil from WalMart. I sure hope my card inspires you to play along over at Muse! It's also STAMPlorations Sketch #23 time. I used STAMPlorations Art Deco Border Builders along with Sentiment Builder; Christmas & New Years. I also used some ink spray just to add to the background. Come on over and play along in the STAMPlorations Sketch Challenge. We can't wait to see how the sketch inspires you. Also, be sure and check out the AMAZING cards from my team members! Wow, I'm feeling inadequate! Thanks for stopping by~
Hi everyone! Happy Sunday! It’s time for a new Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge! This week, we are up to SSSC261! It’s a fantastic sketch with tons of possibilities! I was in the mood to stencil when I made this card, so I started with a panel of Smooth White Card Stock and I laid the Funky Florals Stencil on top. I taped it down with some 3M tape and then sponged on Daffodil Premium Dye Ink, Orange Zest Premium Dye Ink and Ripe Raspberry Premium Dye Ink. The Premium Dye Inks blend SO beautifully, and it was so easy to get the three colors to blend together. Before removing the stencil, I lightly sprayed on some MIX-ables Sheer Shimmer Mist. I let that dry a bit and then removed the stencil. LOVE how it came out! I cut the panel with Blueprints 20 Die-namics, and added a mat of Black Licorice Card Stock. I cut a panel of Black Licorice Card Stock using Blueprints 13 Die-namics and then trimmed it down. I stamped “SENDING HAPPY YOUR WAY” from Totally Happy, using Versamark and then embossed it with White Embossing Powder. I added a trio of rhinestones to finish off the front. On the inside, I layered Black Licorice Card Stock panels and Smooth White Card Stock panels, and added another strip of Black Licorice Card Stock stamped with “Happy Birthday To You” from Totally Happy using Versamark and again embossing with White Embossing Powder. I live in a rural area of upstate New York so I see plenty of pick up trucks every day.....but I have never seen one with a beautiful cascade of flowers spilling out of the window! I used both the inspiration photo and the sketch for my Fusion card this week. I tinted some embossing paste to provide a backdrop to my simple flowers done in pink and red. My son and his girlfriend just returned from visiting her family in the Philippines. She is from a very small village way up north.....also a very rural area but oh so different from our countryside. Some nearby islands are so remote that a season of Survivor was filmed on one of them! I love this picture of their lunch on one of those islands. It is rice, pork chunks and mini lobsters arranged on fan leaves with bananas for dessert. But note the drink - Coca Cola~! Pick the sketch or use the picture - or fuse them together! Stamp Sets: Dragonfly Dreams, Grateful Bunch Ink: Soft Sky, Smoky Slate, Real Red, Melone Mambo, Flirty Flamingo Card Stock: Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzazz

I have loved this background from Hero Arts ever since it came out but only recently bought it. To try it out I heat embossed it in white and sponged the background with Peacock Feathers Distress Ink. Then I added a shimmery butterfly die cut on top of a vellum solid one and the saying. Stamps: Hero Arts (Leafy Vine background, sentiment) Dies: Memory Box (butterfly) This card goes to the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge "Thinking of you" and the Fusion challenge "Embossed Ombre" (I was inspired by that gorgeous cake but didn't use the sketch). ETA: My friend Sarah from Funky Fossil Designs suggested that I link this card also to the A2Z Scrapbooking Supplies for their "Anything Goes" challenge! Thanks Sarah! Hope they don't consider that as backlinking... Hope you are all having a fantastic week, Susanne ETA: This card won Honorable Mention at the Fusion Challenge! Woohoo!

Hi and welcome to another Fusion Card Challenge! Today we have a beautiful inspiration photo as well as an elegant sketch. For my card, I stuck with the photo and ended up using the photo also as my sketch :) I stamped the poppies image in Grout Gray ink and colored with my my pencils and a blender pen. Unfortunately I decided to outline the image in blue and it looked terrible! To save that mess, I fussy cut the whole image, which took a while, but was worth it. I sponged some Steel Blue ink onto a white card base after masking off the side. I then adhered the poppy image on the card base and finished it off with a sentiment from Label Love that I cut out and mounted on foam tape. Be sure to check out the fabulous samples from the rest of the design team and have a go yourself. Products used: Stamps: Delicate Blossoms (Hero Arts), Label Love (Altenew) Ink: Archival Black, Steel Blue (SSS), Grout Gray (MFT) Cardstock: White Accessories: Colored Pencils (Derwent) Cheers Karren
Hey, Hello and Hi dear friends, Welcome to the second week of CASE Study Anniversary Blog Hop. Last week was so much fun with plenty of past designers and muses participating. I am sure you have enjoyed hopping and got inspired. Did you play along too? This week is no different. We have a big lineup of designers participating in the blog hop. I am one of the lucky one on the list. Yay! Now, you should have come from the gorgeous and talented Maureen Merritt's blog. If not, I have a list of designers participatig later on in the post. My CASE muse today is Laura Bassen. I LOVE her style of clean and simple card with vibrant colours which make big impact. I am a huge fan of her. Her videos are so much fun not just to watch how she does her cards but to listen to her chat. I enjoy all her videos. There is this card of Laura's below which she recently made for Simon Says Stamp using the new SSS stencil. I am CASEing this card today. Here is Laura Bassen's card here on her blog. I cannot take my eyes off the beautiful colourful background. What an impact it makes on the card? Then the simple combination of die cut and stamped sentiment completes it all. Brilliant. Inspired by that, I made mine. I have created the similar vibrant colourful background using Funky Floral stencil from MFT and distress inks. I trimmed the card panel about 1/8" smaller than the card front. I had this white frame on my desk. This is the negative after die cutting the centre rectangle using PPP die. I mounted this on the stenciled panel using foam adhesives. I die cut few of the big Thanks, a die from Simon Says Stamp using black cardstock and one from black glitter paper. I stacked and glued them for some dimension. I then adhered it across the frame. Finally, I have a few 6mm and 4mm Onyx sequins scattered and glued. Here is a closeup. Hope I have inspired you to try some vibrant colourful background using stencils. Your next stop is to the queen of CAS style cards Donna Mikasa's blog. And here is the list of designers participating in the blog hop. Cindy Lee Kristii Lockart Sarah Martina Parker Maureen Merritt Gayatri Murali (this is me!) Donna Mikasa Jaclyn Miller Wida Miller Jennifer McGuire Heather Pulvirenti Maureen Plut Kathy Racoosin Windy Robinson Why I am giving you the list of designers is because I want you to leave comments on all of them.
