Sip in cordial glasses or dribble over vanilla ice cream. Probably my easiest liqueur recipe and very good. Since it's made with DRIED apricots, it can be made year-round. Years ago I gave this a couple times in a monogrammed pocket flask as a 21st birthday present. Cooking time is actually infusion time (at 5-7 days, it's a relatively short time for a fruit-flavored liqueur).
Intermittent fasting is supposed to be an easy and effective way of getting lean without having to go on a diet.

This is a cross between Pears Belle Helene and Eve's Pudding, but the only important thing to remember is that this is easy, quick, very comforting and seems to please absolutely everyone. It's not hard to ensure you always have what you need in the house to make this. And, for hot days when baked sponge and sauce seems inappropriate, then bear in mind that canned (or bottled) pears and chocolate sauce — with or without vanilla ice cream — make a lovely pudding on their own. As with any baking, you really do want to have all ingredients at room temperature before you start. For US cup measures, use the toggle at the top of the ingredients list.
The White Russian is a classic three-ingredient cocktail that combines vodka, Kahlúa and cream. Here's how to make this iconic drink.
70,000 orders a year can't be wrong.
This buttery cake is perfect for dressing up as a special dessert with cream or ice cream or just simply popped in the lunchbox. Its versatility makes it a winner no matter the occasion! The juices from the pair infuse into the cake to create an added depth of flavour to the lemony cake. Choose pears which are not too firm, but have just a little ‘give’ when gently pressed. The lemon could be swapped out for vanilla if you prefer – add 1 tsp vanilla extract in place of the rind, and swap the juice for another tablespoon of milk.
My absolute favorite sauce for topping ice cream!
Say hello to the extravagant Golden Opulence Sundae served by New York restaurant, Serendipity 3. This indulgent dessert is crafted using the finest ingredients, including Tahitian vanilla ice cream infused with Madagascar vanilla beans, adorned

A lovely pear compote with the warming addition of ginger - perfect for these wintery days. Use to fill cakes, on your morning toast or top ice-cream with it.
This is it — summer on a plate. Most days I take the view that cooking fruit rather loses the point of its delectable freshness, but this somehow intensifies it. Besides, most peaches are disappointingly hard or lacking in luscious peachiness, so poaching the fruit gives even lucklustre peaches the boost they need, restoring them to their rightful glory. And please read the Additional Information section at the end of the recipe before proceeding. For US cup measures, use the toggle at the top of the ingredients list.

It's Creamy! It's Rich! It's definitely a favorite! This is the ice cream that gave me the nickname "Ice Cream Becky"! Even Pearl and Serene said it was the best ice cream they ever had! That made my day. In June 2019, I got to meet the sisters, the authors of Trim Healthy Mama, and I took them some of my ice cream. There is a little restaurant about 10 minutes from my house that serves the most amazing dessert called Russian Cream. Russian Cream is a mix between a custard and a pudding.
Super easy ice cream tart with a biscuit base, vanilla ice cream and fresh summer fruits. No baking and totally delicious.
Both the peaches and granita can be made up to a week in advance. The peaches are great on yoghurt, too, so make extra, if you fancy. I’ve used a spent vanilla pod here (ie, a pod saved after scraping out the beans); alternatively, use a quarter-teaspoon of vanilla bean extract

Persimmon Gelato is made with persimmons, milk, sugar, and cream. The light fruity flavor makes it a fabulous frozen treat for summer and beyond.
Adapted from Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking via David Lebovitz Notes: I use Guittard Chocolate, 64% cacao. Lebovitz used Green and Black, 72% cacao. I mention this because I cut the sugar to ½ cup due to the extra sugar in the chocolate. If you are using a darker chocolate, you might want to use ⅔ cup sugar, which is what the original recipe calls for. What I love about this recipe is that there isn't any whipped cream. One recipe I tried this week tasted too much like chocolate-flavored whipped cream. This one has body with a nice lightness thanks to the whipped egg whites. The key to making this recipe successfully is getting those egg yolks to that pale yellow ribbon stage — see DL's photo for guidance. If you don't get that consistency in the yolks, the finished mousse will not have that nice chew.
Australia Day is one of my favourite occasions to bake for. It’s a great chance to get creative and have fun with some Aussie-inspired desserts. And we get a day off work too! In past years I’ve made Lamington Doughnuts and Pavlova Ice Cream, and this year I decided to combine these two classics into one epic dessert: the Lamington ... Read More
