We are having a special hop for you today to show you all the fabulous Host Sets that are on offer for you from the Annual and Holiday Catalogues. there are 8 different Host sets so there will be lots of different creations for you. If you are joining us for the first time we are a group of International Stampin' Up! demonstrators that usually show one stamp set at a time, every first and third Monday's of the month, with the exception of this Bonus Hop today. Be sure to make your way around the hop by click the next button at the bottom of each post. If you get lost along the way click on the banner at the top of each post and that will lead you to the list of hoppers so you can continue on your merry way. I was instantly drawn to the gorgeous little creatures in the Love you Lots Set for two reasons. 1.They are super cute and 2. They are fabulous to add some colour to, one of my crafting passions. Yay! I've created 4 cards for you today with all the same design but just changing the little animals from the set. They are very 'clean' from they way that I normally create but I really love the clean lines and the less is more look. I stamped the images with Stazon and then using and aqua painted picked up the colour from the lid of the ink pad and then added some colour. Super cute! Right??!!! If you want to get your hands on some of these Host Sets you can either have a 'party' with me (Australian Residents Only) and have $250 + in sales to qualify or place an order for Stampin' Up! products $250 or more and you can get one of these sets without having a 'party'.You can email me to place and order or you can order straight from my online store HERE Please contact me for more information and I'd love to help you TODAY! For those who are new to the Stamp Review Crew, here is a little background. We are an international group of Stampin' Up! demonstrators that gets together on the first and third Mondays of every month to do a blog hop. Each hop features a single stamp set to give you loads of inspiration for that set! Except this time :) This time we are featuring the Host Sets, which often get forgotten. The hops are archived at the Stamp Review Crew blog, and you will be able to click through each hop at any time, going directly to the posts for that hop whenever you want! And you can click on the banner of this post to go to the master blog roll for this hop also. If you are following along in order, you just arrived from Rochelle Blok's blog, and she always has such beautiful projects! There are always lots of wonderful sets to chose from when you earn host rewards! These are the NINE sets you can chose from right now! If you would like to host a party, I would be happy to help you earn some of these fun sets :) This is my project to share. I will add more details later, I have to go to work now :) Ok, it is "later" now :) I chose this set and this image because my daughter and her fiance have a hedgehog, and I have been thinking about her a lot this week. Her birthday is next month, and I thought she would enjoy these little critters :) Her is the How-To: Prepare a Sahara Sand 4¼"x5½" card base, round the corners with the Corner Rounder punch. Cut a piece of Sweet Sugarplum to 4"x5¼", round those corners too. Center the Sweet Sugarplum panel in the Pretty Paisley embossing folder and emboss with the Big Shot. Optional: stitch around the edge, or draw a line with a white gel pen. Stamp the hedgehogs on a scrap of watercolor paper in Archival Black ink, watercolor with Smoky Slate and Blushing Bride for the hedgehogs, and Sweet Sugarplum and Pear Pizzazz for the flower. Ground them with very dilute Smoky Slate. Add Clear Wink of Stella over the hedgie spikes and the flower. Die cut the hedgehogs with an oval die, then die cut a larger oval in Vellum. Layer the ovals together using dimensionals. Then apply dimensionals behind the Vellum layer. Die cut 3 Pear Pizzazz fancy leaves, 1 Rich Razzleberry fancy leaf, and 1 Rich Razzleberry fancy flower with stem using the Paisley framelits. Arrange on the Sweet Sugarplum panel so that they will stick out behind the ovals. I stapled them where it wouldn't show :) Adhere the focal ovals to the Sweet Sugarplum panel. Put more dimensionals, or use cut down coasters, on the back of the Sweet Sugarplum panel, and adhere to the card base. On the inside of the card, stamp the sentiment from Birthday Fiesta in Archival Black ink, then use the Fine-Tip glue to adhere the Rich Razzleberry fancy leaf next to the sentiment. All done! See all the dimension? I still love dimension! I tried to catch the shimmer on the hedgies too, but it is so hard to catch that in a photo. Just know that they are really sparkly in real life :) I am really surprised that the sentiment in Birthday Fiesta goes so well with both the hedgies and the Paisleys Suite. How about you, what do you think? We also have a Pinterest board for every hop, check it out! Are you ready to head over to the next stop? Shana Gaff will have lots of wonderful inspiration for you! If you have seen something you need for your crafting life, just click the image in the supply list below and it will take you to my store! If you order less than $150, please use this month's Host Code, which can be found at the top of the sidebar on the right. And be sure to check the box allowing me to contact you when you check out. I can't send you a thank you card if I don't know your address! And I promise to only send you happy mail, no junk mail :) Product List Love You Lots Clear-Mount Stamp Set [141801] $9.00 Love You Lots Wood-Mount Stamp Set [141798] $13.00 Birthday Fiesta Photopolymer Stamp Set [141500] $21.00 Sahara Sand 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [121043] $8.00 Sweet Sugarplum 8-1/2" X 11" Cardstock [141418] $8.00 Rich Razzleberry 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [115316] $8.00 Pear Pizzazz 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [131201] $8.00 Vellum 8-1/2" X 11" Card Stock [101856] $8.00 Watercolor Paper [122959] $5.00 Basic Black Archival Stampin’ Pad [140931] $7.00 Smoky Slate Classic Stampin' Pad [131179] $6.50 Sweet Sugarplum Classic Stampin' Pad [141395] $6.50 Blushing Bride Classic Stampin' Pad [131172] $6.50 Pear Pizzazz Classic Stampin' Pad [131180] $6.50 Aqua Painters [103954] $17.00 Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush [141897] $8.00 Big Shot [143263] $110.00 Paisley Framelits Dies [141849] $29.00 Layering Ovals Framelits Dies [141706] $35.00 Pretty Paisleys Textured Impressions Embossing Folder [141833] $7.50 Punch Corner Project Life [135346] $8.00 Stampin' Dimensionals [104430] $4.00 Fine-Tip Glue Pen [138309] $7.00
I'm back again, just a week after last week's hop, with a BONUS hop! Yay! This hop is a little different, because we could choose from any of our current host sets. I chose to use the set with the cute little animals, Love You Lots. I'm kind of in love with those little critters! I decided to use the 2016-2017 In-Colors as the basis of my card. I started by stamping the background with the "love you lots" sentiment. I had a few places that didn't line up as I would have liked, so I added a few pieces of washi tape over the top. After I added my focal panel, I couldn't even tell there was a boo boo. See, you can fix your mistakes instead of trashing your work! 😁 Thanks for stopping by! Click on the links below to continue on in the hop. I can't wait to see what sets everyone used! Hey! We have a special treat for you today! We have a bonus hop going on with the Stamp Review Crew. :) Now usually we only blog on the first and third Monday of the month, but with the new holiday catalog and 2 new hostess sets, we thought we'd do a hostess set highlight! Right now is a great time to host a party and get some fantastic holiday sets - so why not encourage you to want to earn a hostess set, right?? Here are the current hostess sets that you can only earn by hosting a party and qualifying with a minimum of $150USD in sales. Now unfortunately, I do not own either of the two holiday catalog hostess sets but if I were to get one, it would be the one right above this - the middle set on the bottom row. Perfect for the layering circles and ovals. Today though, I am showing you two cards that I made using the Love Ya Lots hostess set. Now there are 4 really cute little animal stamps in this set, but these are my two favorite. Plus, as cute as the hedgehogs are, they aren't made for fussy cutting. :) Both of these cards also feature the By the Shore Designer Series Paper (DSP). You don't need to make nautical cards to make these work! I also planned ahead and cut the Lots of Labels diecut from this card layer towards the top middle, knowing that I could use both pieces. I stamped the lady bugs on the DSP, the Very Vanilla Layer and also fussy cut it from another scrap piece. This helps with the little antenna, legs and arms that you don't have to cut. And who doesn't love ribbon?? It is my absolute favorite accessory for a card <3 I hope you enjoyed my cards! I know you will enjoy what you see on the hop too! You can head back to Baks (Heidi, that is!) or on to sweet Betty :) You pick - just make sure you make you way around the entire blog hop! Pin your favorites and be sure to leave us some blog love - we love to hear from our readers! Have a great week! -Holly

Welcome! The Stamp Review Crew has organized a bonus Blog Hop featuring the host stamp sets that available in the main catalog and in the holiday catalog. These sets are AWESOME! A great variety of styles to choose from. The stamp set I am using is called Love You Lots and I have to say I love it a lot! Taking advantage of the sweet line art in this set I made a magic card. It looks rather plain until... the tab is pulled and the magic happens! I stamped the "you" on the undermost layer along with the flowers. What a fun card technique! My next card is one that I posted a little while ago to go along with a larger tutorial on making various types of spinner cards. (You can see the tutorial HERE.) This one is a triple spinner and uses punches instead of framelits. Lots of love for someone special with this card! Thanks a lot for stopping by and the crew would love to show you more of these wonderful host sets. Please click on the buttons below to hop along! This way to Kelly's cute creations! This way to Holly's fun project!
