Are you looking for an engaging activity related to pronouns? Check out this activity that links pronouns to pizza! This is a print-and-go activity packet that includes four worksheets and a craft activity. On the first three worksheets, students will interact with subject pronouns, object pronouns, and reflexive pronouns. Most of the time, they replace underlined words or fill in the blank wiht pronouns. There are a few items, however, where students must write a complete sentence using a certain pronoun. Finally, if your students need practice identifying pronouns in a sentence, the last worksheet in this resource will provide that practice. FOUR WORKSHEETS: Worksheet 1: Students replace the underlined word or phrase with the correct subject pronoun. (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) Worksheet 2: Students replace the underlined word or phrase with the correct object pronoun. (me, you, him, her, it, us, them) Worksheet 3: Students fill in the blank with the correct reflexive pronoun. (myself, yourself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves) Worksheet 4: This final worksheet consists of 14 sentences. For each sentence, students must circle the pronoun(s). Several sentences have more than one pronoun to identify. (If there is more than one pronoun in the sentence, the number of pronouns is indicated at the end of the sentence.) All of these sentences are related to pizza. Answer keys are included for all of the worksheets. CRAFTIVITY: Once students have completed their worksheets, students should bring them to a teacher to be checked. Once students have confirmed that their worksheet answers are correct, they are ready to begin working on the craftivity. They color and cut out the pizza images on the first three worksheets. Then they glue the title image and two pizzas on the front of a sheet of construction paper. They glue the third pizza on the back of the construction paper. Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. CHECK OUT THE PREVIEW!! This afternoon in class we worked on a worksheet about Recreation and Leisure. This is very important in the clientele I work with. Our hopes are that when they do end up leaving us at 22, they continue to spend time in the community doing things that they enjoy. http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Recreation-and-Leisure

It's hard to believe we're all here, being forced into homeschooling algebra or developing algebra lessons that can be taught from home. Students are suddenly tasked with distance learning on Google Apps that may have never used before. I'm still trying to wrap my head around it all and wondering how I ever took normal life for granted. But here we are! Homeschooling our kids math (or in my case "homeschooling" since mine is in K) or creating digital algebra lessons for remote teaching on platforms like Google Classroom or Zoom that we may have never used before.
