The set comes with all the little details to create a large controller, like the one on this card, and a smaller controller. Sometimes, creating those small details can be a huge pain. However, MFT Stamps has added some new products to their online store that will make your creating tons easier! These are tools that I use regularly and am thrilled that MFT is going to carry! QuickStik Pickup Tool and Quickie Glue Pen. Say hello to these tools my dear readers, they will become your new best card-making friends! Die cut all your fabulous little pieces. Then, using the Quickie Glue Pen, apply a small amount of adhesive where desired. In the photo above, I added quite a bit of glue, but I wanted you to see it in the photo. This pen of adhesive writes just like a ball point pen! When you are ready to place your detailed die-cut element, pick it up with your QuickStick Pick Up Tool. When you remove the cap there is a sticky substance at the end. Touch the end to your cardstock, place, and lift. The tool picks up your element, but doesn't ruin it or add marks to it! And I love that I can place it exactly where I want, rather than guessing when I use a tweezers. This card is for my hubby. A couple of years ago he convinced me to try to play one of his video games. I became hooked. And that wonderful man still lets me play with him and all his friends online. The new color, Green Room, is the perfect green for all things XBox! I used the Green Room ink to stamp the sentiments. The Green Room cardstock worked well for an accent color! Today's card features a really fun stamp set and die set from My Favorite Things. Game Controller die comes with two controller dies and all the buttons you can customize. It's great for both masculine cards and cards for any gamer in your life. Level Up stamp set is the perfect stamp companion as it features fun and unique sentiments. I have used this stamp and die set for masculine birthday cards twice already, and I can really see myself using them even more. My favorite part about the die is that it's easy to change out and customize colors. In the card I'm sharing today, for example, I used black for the base and pulled a couple of extra colors from the patterned paper I was using. This created a fun contrast that really makes the card pop. I kept this card really simple and embellishment-free. I also hand-drew the little twirly cord leading to the controller - just to ground it a bit. Since I really like how this turned out, I'm going to enter it in the MFT Superstar contest. I'm popping back in again today to share another October Release Countdown project - all of the October Release products will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM EDT! Today's card features the new Little Town of Bethlehem Die-Namics, as well as the Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set (that will be featured later on this week)! I created a clean and simple ornament, making skyline of Bethlehem and the Christmas star as the focal area. The sentiment is from the Bitty Holiday Wishes Stamp Set, and was stamped onto Black Licorice Card Stock and heat embossed using silver embossing powder. Hello and welcome to Day 2 of Release Countdown Week with MFT. I am so excited about today's featured products - Level Up stamp set and Game Controller Die-namics, so let's power up and get our game ON! Level up, dude - it's your birthday! The combination of Level Up and Game Controller is a match made in gamer heaven, and this new Limelight card stock is BFF status. I created a 'cord' by coloring MFT's Hemp Cord with a black Copic marker. If you're wondering if I die cut each of those colored controller buttons separately, don't worry - I did not! Simply die cut the buttons in white (I used Sweet Tooth card stock) and then color them separately with your Copic markers before you pop them out. Mac 'n cheesy. My second gamer card uses the larger (yes, you get small and large!) Die-namics Game Controller and another of the awesome sentiments from Level Up. I used the same color combo on the buttons on my first card, no, not the colors 'as seen on TV', but my own personal button color choices here. It's all about the choices, people..all about the choices. I even added glossy accents on the buttons to really make them pop. Hi everyone! Happy Monday! We are SO close to the big MFT January Release! All of the new products will be available tomorrow, January 6th at 10PM right HERE in the MFT Boutique! I have two cards to share with you today! My first card features the AMAZING new Level Up set and Game Controller Die-namics! LOVE! This set and Die-namics could not be more perfect for the men in our lives! I used Jen’s Deconstructed Sketch, DS182, for the layout. I created the controller using the Game Controller Die-namics and cut it from Grout Gray Card Stock, Steel Grey Card Stock, Black Licorice Card Stock, Red Hot Card Stock, Lemon Drop Card Stock, Green Room Prestige Card Stock and Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock. I lightly sponged the edge of the controller with Grout Gray Premium Dye Ink. After attaching all of the pieces, I added Glossy Accents so all of the “buttons” were shiny. I super love that! I popped the controller up onto three panels, two panels cut with the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, one from Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock and the other from Green Room Prestige Card Stock, and a panel of Red Hot Card Stock cut with the Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics. The main panel of Steel Grey Card Stock was cut with Blueprints 14 Die-namics and stamped with the Grid Background using Steel Grey Premium Dye Ink. I added a mat of Smooth White Card Stock cut with Blueprints 3 Die-namics. The sentiment, from Level Up, was stamped with Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. On the inside, I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 14 Die-namics and Blueprints 3 Die-namics. I stamped the sentiment from Level Up using Lush Lagoon Premium Dye Ink and Green Room Premium Dye Ink. I added a trio of stars cut with Blueprints 17 Die-namics from Red Hot Card Stock, Lush Lagoon Prestige Card Stock and Lemon Drop Card Stock. My second card features the SWEET new Miss Tina set, MSTN I Love You More! I simply LOVE this sentiment and the font! I was inspired by the sentiment to pair it with the Sun Ray Cover Up Die-namics! I cut a panel of Smooth White Card Stock using the Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics and stamped the sentiment from MSTN I Love You More using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I cut a panel of Berrylicious Card Stock using the Sun Ray Cover Up Die-namics and then cut it again using Lemon Drop Card Stock and Lemon Chiffon Prestige Card Stock. I cut a mat of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 2 Die-namics. I inset the sun and rays using the pieces cut with Lemon Drop Card Stock and Lemon Chiffon Card Stock, and I added glitter to these panels. After attaching the sentiment panel, I added enamels dots and rhinestones. On the inside, I cut two panels of Smooth White Card Stock using Blueprints 1 Die-namics and Blueprints 2 Die-namics. I added a strip of Berrylicious Card Stock to the bottom. I stamped the sentiment, also from MSTN I Love You More, using Black Licorice Premium Dye Ink. I added a bit of color and glitter to the sun and cloud. MFT Die-Namics Game Controller MFT - Level Up Spellbinder Tool n' One Sprinkles Echo Park 6X6 (That's My Boy) Oh this was so fun to use! I do have to say that I saw this paper on another crafter on Facebook and I was thinking it was perfect to use with this die. I was wishing I had some of it. I even looked up on line to see where I could get some, but then that passed by. Well, I was going through my "boy" like papers and I actually had this paper pad! lol. Oh I am so bad, you have no idea, lol. I had to borrow my hubby's controller because you know, it's never good unless it comes really close. I think I did pretty good. What do you think? I had to handle the controller very carefully, lol, these toys are expensive too. I was so thrilled I had my spellbinders tool. The dies are very intricate and I love having this tool around. I used the larger of the dies. And I cut it out twice and popped one layer over the other using foam pads. I also used pieces of foam pads for the joy sticks to give them some extra dimension. My boys have me totally hooked! Its my competitive side and I love sitting along side them and "getting" what they are always talking about. Level Up and Die-namics Game Controller are stamps and dies that will never, ever leave my stash! I will be able to make a million different projects with these products! First off, I adore Die-namics Game Controller! Its perfect! It is exactly like our XBox One controllers and the boys were impressed with the accuracy! The set comes with all the little details to create a large controller, like the one on this card, and a smaller controller. Sometimes, creating those small details can be a huge pain. However, MFT Stamps has added some new products to their online store that will make your creating tons easier! These are tools that I use regularly and am thrilled that MFT is going to carry! QuickStik Pickup Tool and Quickie Glue Pen. Say hello to these tools my dear readers, they will become your new best card-making friends! Die cut all your fabulous little pieces. Then, using the Quickie Glue Pen, apply a small amount of adhesive where desired. In the photo above, I added quite a bit of glue, but I wanted you to see it in the photo. This pen of adhesive writes just like a ball point pen! When you are ready to place your detailed die-cut element, pick it up with your QuickStick Pick Up Tool. When you remove the cap there is a sticky substance at the end. Touch the end to your cardstock, place, and lift. The tool picks up your element, but doesn't ruin it or add marks to it! And I love that I can place it exactly where I want, rather than guessing when I use a tweezers. This card is for my hubby. A couple of years ago he convinced me to try to play one of his video games. I became hooked. And that wonderful man still lets me play with him and all his friends online. I mean, seriously, this guy plays SPLIT SCREEN just for me! That's some serious sacrifice from a gamer! :) Both sentiments are from Level Up and made the perfect boy Valentine's Day card! The new color, Green Room, is the perfect green for all things XBox! I used the Green Room ink to stamp the sentiments. The Green Room cardstock worked well for an accent color! The Steel Grey card base was stamped with Steel Grey Ink and Tiny Hearts Background. The other heart is Sweet Tooth cardstock die cut with Die-namics Straight to the Heart. One more card. And I had to stop myself because I could have made them all day! (But Christmas needs to come down and be put away and we need groceries! :)) Simple and basic and perfect for any boy occasion! I stamped the sentiments from Level Up onto Sweet Tooth Cardstock. The panel was foam mounted to a Black Licorice card base that had stripes of Green Room cardstock adhered to it. Hello and welcome back! We're half way through the countdown for the new release from My Favorite Things and this release is filled with all things LOVE! For my card today, I used the new Heart Air Balloon die to create a colourful rainbow balloon and a clean and simple card design. I die cut the balloon pieces from white card stock and then I used my Copic markers to colour everything in. I then added some simple clouds to the background with the Mini Cloud Edges stencil and layered a stamped sentiment on top of the balloon. Happy Saturday! I have a couple of cards to share today. For my first card I am playing along with The Color Throwdown, The Friday Mashup (sketch), and The Card Concept (inspiration). I just love The Card Concept's inspiration photo. The colors work perfectly with this week's Color Throwdown trio. I started with MFT Stamps smooth white and berrylicious card stock. I stamped the front of the base with berrylicious ink using Striped background. I die cut berrylicious with stitched rounded rectangle stax. I stamped this panel with Swiss Dot background stamp using Sweet Tooth pigment ink. inside of card Next, I die cut a pierced Traditional Tag Stax die namics in smooth white. I masked off a portion of the sentiment from True Friends stamp set. I stamped it going down the side of the tag in hybrid black licorice ink. Then, I die cut the the tulips from Spring Tulip die namics and stamped the coordinating image from Spring Tulip stamp set using hybrid black licorice ink. I colored with copics. To comply with the sketch, I added a loose thread bow and let the threads wrap and hang loosely around the tag. I used the tiny clothespin to clip it to the tag. I finished the front with a few clear sequins. For my second card, I am playing along with The ColourQ, MFT Weekly Sketch Challenge, and Just Us Girls. I started with MFT smooth white and sour apple card stocks. I die cut the sour apple panel with Blueprints 20. I embossed with Chevron Cover Up. I added some versamark to edges and front for some added depth of color. Next, I die cut a tag from Blueprints Tag Builder 1. I stamped a sentiment from Whimsical Wishes in hybrid black licorice ink. I die cut the image from You Gnome Me die namics and stamped with coordinating image from You Gnome Me stamp set in hybrid black licorice. I colored with copics to comply with color challenge. I used some pop dots to add to the tag. I used some pink/white twine to tie a bow and add element to comply with sketch. I finished with a few clear sequins. As always thanks so much for stopping by! Welcome to another day of MFT's January Release Countdown! There are only TWO days until the new release is available. Today I have a card created with the new Level Up Stamp Set and the Game Controller Die-namics. I made my card for a special little boy who is turn 8. I started by stamping the Diagonal Stripes Background Stamp on Smooth White Card stock. I am using two of the new Premium Dye Inks and Card Stock colors being released this month, Green Room and Lush Lagoon. The sentiment is from the Level Up Stamp Set, stamped in Sweet Tooth Pigment Ink, and embossed with white embossing powder. The sentiment is dye cut with the Horizontal Stitched Strips Die-namics. Here's a closer look at the at the game controller. The numbers are cut with the "8" in the Little Numbers Die-namics. I added some enamel dots from my stash. It's the second day of MFTs September Vault Release. Today I'm sharing the Game Controller Die-namics and Level Up Stamp Set which was so popular during its first run. If you missed it then, now's the time to grab it! The main piece was cut from dark gray card stock and inked on the edges for a bit of dimension. The buttons were cut from black card stock and adhered in their respective spaces. The colorful buttons were cut from MFT's card stock and adhered in place. I adhered the piece to a Grout Gray panel which was then adhered to a black card base. The sentiments were stamped above and below the controller and I added some shine to the buttons. This is such a fun set for gamers of all ages and, along with the rest of the September Vault Release, is waiting for you now in the MFT Store! Happy shopping!
