Hi everyone! I'm sharing another Halloween card today on the Lawn fawnatics blog, inspired by the current Lawn Fawnatics Challenge but with a twist.. I made it interactive! I could wait no more to ink up these cute Halloween houses from the new Spooky Village set so I decided to create my own pastel dreamy Halloween village! First of all I stamped, colored with copics and die cut all the images from the Spooky Village set + coordinated dies and fro the Tiny Halloween one + coordinted dies. Then I die cut a stitched rectangle, colored the bottom with Picked Raspberry distress ink and die cut a dotted rectangle and inked the top with Twisted Citron Distress oxide ink. I die cut all the elements and built my flippin mechanism using the Flippin' Awesome set( please check out its Lawn Fawn youtube intro video if you would like to see how I made it, thank you) and colored all the different pieces with Distres inks ( all the color mentioned before plus Spiced Marmalade Distress oxide ink and Salty Ocean distress ink). I created each little scene and glued down all the images with liquid glue + I decorated the last long panel. I stamped my sentiment on the bottom and secured my interactive element to the card with strong double sided tape. Here's my card in action.. It's so much fun, I can't stop playing with it!! Supplies If you'd like to purchase the items I used to create my project today, everything is listed down below. When possible I used compensated affiliate links which means that if you make a purchase I receive a small commission (that helps me to bring lots of happy projects to you and run this blog) at no extra cost to you. For this waterfall card, I used the Flippin' Awesome stamp set and the Tree Before 'n After stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I created four panels, one for each season of the year. I used additional dies: Simple Stitched Hillside Borders and Simple Grassy Hillside Borders. Here are all the cardstocks and Distress Inks I used for each panel: Spring: Cilantro cardstock + Lucky Clover Distress Ink/ Tattered Rose + Worn Lipstick Distress Inks Summer: Noble Fir cardstock + Pine Needles Distress Ink/ Salty Ocean + Mermaid Lagoon Distress Inks Fall: Sunflower cardstock + Wild Honey Distress Ink/ Ripe Persimmon + Candied Apple Distress Inks Winter: Sparkle cardstock/ Shaded Lilac + Blueprint Sketch Distress Ink I colored all the images with Copic Markers. Here are the colors I used: Trees: E31 - E33 - E35/ E71 - E74 - E79/ E53 - E55 - E57/ R46 - R59/ YR15 - YR68/ YR21 - Y38/ YG03 - YG13/ YG06 - G07/ C0 - C3 - 0 Apples: R46 - R59/ YG06 - G07 Flowers: YR21/ RV10 - R83 Butterfly: YR21 - Y38 Dog: E53 - E55 - E57 Cat: C0 - C3 - 0 Pumpkin: YR15 - YR68/ YG06 - G07 I fussy cut all the images. I also die cut the Flippin' Awesome elements. The tab was die cut from Sunflower cardstock and the Flippin' Awesome die from Kraft cardstock. I added the panels to the mecahnism and the entire Flippin' Awesome piece to some Fall Fling paper. I adhered this to a Kraft cardbase. I added the sentiment to the pull tab, so it appears when you start flipping the pictures. To the pull tab, I tied a piece of twine. I added the swirly lines to each panel, using Hippo Ink. This is such a cool die and I love all these tree images! Thanks for visiting my blog. Please leave a comment and follow/ subscribe to my blog! Or e-mail me at [email protected]

Today it's the start of brand new Lawn Fawnatics Challenge and the theme is "Fun with Dies". I decided to use my Flippin' Awesome die set for this Christmas card. I die cut the Flippin's Awesome elements from Blue Jay cardstock, Mermaid cardstock and Perfectly Plaid Chill paper. I used Sparkle cardstock and the Simple Stitched Hillside Borders for the little snowy hills. I ink blended all the skies with Salty Ocean and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks. I stamped the images and colored them with Copic Markers. I used images from Snow Cool, Toboggan Together and Here We Go A-Waddeling. Here are the colors I used: Penguins: C3 - C5/ C0 - 0/ YR21 - Y38 Hats + earmuffs: R14 - R46/ RV10 - R83/ V12 - B14/ E53 - E55 - E57 Snowballs: C0 - C3 - 0 Guitar: B12 - B14/ E53 - E55 - E57 Snow penguin: C0 - C3 - 0/ R14 - R46/ YR21 - Y38 Music book: RV10 - R83 I fussy cut the images and assembled the flippin' awesome card. I added some highlights to the images and snow to the skies with my white gelly roll pen. I added the Flippin' Awesome piece onto the ink blended panel, which I die cut with the Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables. This I added to a Chili Pepper cardbase. The pull tab was die cut from Chili Pepper cardstock and Sparkle cardstock. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment, using white embossing powder from Lawn Fawn. A break from Disney! I needed a couple birthday cards, and no surprise, I wanted a beach theme for both. I recently ordered Honey Bee Stamps' "Flippin Fabulous" stamp set and matching dies, along with their "Beach Vibes" 6x6 paper stack. The stamps and dies are great quality. I've never bought Honey Bee Stamps products before, but I definitely will again. I made this card for my friend using the stamps, dies, & paper. I used blue glitter embossing powder for the sentiment and raised it with dimensional adhesive. I spread Nuvo glitter drops (blue lagoon) on the sandal straps. I also added some little shiny star and circle sequins. The second card needed to be masculine. I just changed up the colors of the sandals (I paper-pieced these), and added some brown strips under the sentiments, which I stamped in plain black. The paper is another from the same Honey Bee stack but more subtle. I distressed all the edges with brown ink. Just those few changes made this card much for masculine, although I think both cards could be for either a female or male recipient. Tip: The sandals come as one stamp, but I cut them apart so I could position them however I want. The dies are already separated. Thanks for looking at my cards, and give Honey Bee Stamps products a try! Cheers, Ms. Molly

Hello there, I'm back with another Valentine card showcasing two new Lawn Fawn stamp sets: You're just my type and Love Poems that are now available in the eshop! I used the same color combination as the Reveal Wheel card I shared a few days ago but this time I made a Flippin Awesome card. This interactive die is just the good size for the typewriters and is also perfect to write a little love poem on each flap. So I first started by cutting all the different papers I was going to need to built the Flippin Awesome element. Don't hesitate to check the list of supplies at the end of this post to know which papers I used. To begin I folded the Flippin piece on the four lines that the die creates in the middle. I used my bone folder to get a crisp fold, and I folded those lines in both directions to help the mechanism work smoothly. I folded the two small tabs as well. Next I applied double sided tape on the three strips in the middle and also on the square section. I removed the back of the tape and stuck one raspberry square on each section. And I did the same thing with the dark pink squares. To create a carpet floor, I cut half an inch strips out of light pink squares and attached them at the bottom of each dark pink square. To add some interest to my card, I cut a scalloped rectangle using a die from the Flippin Awesome Add-on die set, and I attached on top of it a pixie dust rectangle measuring 4-3/8 by 2-5/8. This way I get a nice and sparkly contrast between the different shades of pink. Before attaching the Flippin element to the pixie dust panel, I attached the same pattern papers as before on the inside. Those pieces were cut using a rectangle die from the Flippin Awesome Add-on die set. With those elements, I get a consistent look on the whole piece. To attach my Flippin element on the pixie dust panel, I first applies double sided tape on the small tabs, I removed the back of the tape, folded the Flippin piece in half, hug the tabs around it, and then attach it to the panel. Next I stamped the images on smooth white cardstock using jet black ink and colored them using my alcohol markers. When it was done, I cut the images using the coordinating dies. I also cut two hearts using dies from the Candy Hearts die set that was released last year, as well as the pull tab where I stamped the phrase Pull Here. All the images were stuck using glue dots and liquid glue. To add interest and texture to my card base, I cut a Quilted panel out of Ballet Slippers cardstock and attached it to a white card base. I stuck my Flippin element on this quilted background using liquid glue and stuck a banner where I white heat embossed the phrase "Just a little note to say..." Because my card needed a little bit of shine, I cut tiny gold mirror hearts using the brand new Xoxo Backdrop Landscape die, and glued them on the flaps. And finally I applied clear glitter on the candy heart. Hello and welcome! My card is a simple spinner card, the only difference is, instead of using a circular hole, I hand cut a weird kidney shaped one so that when the cute chef spins, it's not in a perfect circle but more like flippin', as the sentiment says. The larger circle dies are from MFT's Blueprints 16 and are no longer available. All other items are linked below. I love looking at the entries in these type contests because there are so many innovative creative minds out there, engineering-type minds, who can come up with the most amazing interactive cards. I hope to learn some new tricks for these from everyone's entries! Here's a closer look at my card: And here are pictures of the "flippin'" chef! And one last look at this adorable chef from MFT. I will enter this in: 2019 MFT Clean and Simple Superstar Contest (They have 3 categories: Clean and Simple Genius, Coloring Virtuoso, & Innovation Master. Click on those links to go see all the entries! Yesterday I posted a card for the Clean and Simple one and today's is for the Innovation Contest.) I will also enter this in: Simon Says Wednesday Interactive Card Challenge Happy Little Stampers ATG with Dies September Challenge Best of luck to everyone and thanks so much for stopping by! ************************************* I have used affiliate links in my post, what does this mean? Hi friends! I have a simple card to share with you today using the current Color Throwdown colors, and the current sketch from My Favorite Things... My youngest daughter's boyfriend is currently in culinary school, and over the Valentine's Day weekend he and Kelsey went to the awesome West Side Market in Cleveland and did some shopping, then came to our house and he cooked us dinner (which was also AWESOME!) So I had no choice but to order this sweet Birdie Brown Recipe for Happiness stamp set to make a thank you card for Chuck! Other supplies used include the BG Gingham background, BG Small Brick background, Fishtail Flags STAX Die-Namics, Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-Namics, and the Recipe for Happiness Die-Namics. The black and white diagonal stripes at the bottom is just an old piece of patterned paper. (I even gave the chef a red mustache, since Chuck is a ginger!) That's all for me today! Thanks for stopping by!
