*press sample Hello friends! I have eight new shades from Emily de Molly to share. Once again Hayley did what she does best- created some unique and unexpected shades that you've never seen before. The formulas are always great and I didn't have any application issues. Two of these shades are magnetic though and for me they were very subtle in the magnetic effect. I'm interested to see other swatchers' photos to see if it was just me. Let's take a look.. Sea Of Lies is a blue base with pink/green/blue aurora pigment. I'll begin with the pièce de réstistance. What a magical shade! The application was nice and smooth. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Glitters Reign is a dark purple base with copper shimmer and silver holo micro glitters. This has my name all over it- the copper gives this a beautiful browned look. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Midlife Crisis is a reddish base with lime to pink shifting foil type shimmer. Now this shade is super unique, I really have nothing like it. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Version Of A Truth is a dusty lavender (warm) to dusty pink (cold) thermal with green to pink shifting shimmer and silver flakes. The thermal shift is very subtle so if you don't like them real dramatic, you'll love this one. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Cold Transition Warm The World Belongs To Us is teal green base with pink/copper/gold shifting shimmer and copper flakes. This is my second favorite shade. The combination of colors and elements is very symbiotic. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Today At Noon is dark pink holo with an orange/copper magnetic effect. This is a one coater (but of course I did two)! The magnetic effect is visible, but subtle. Shown is two coat plus top coat. Electric Arc is a light neutral holo with silver holo micro glitters and a light icy blue magnetic effect. Now this is the shade where the magnetic effect was nearly invisible for me. I could barely see it in person but I'm not sure if you can tell in the photos. Shown is two coat plus top coat. The Calm One is a dusty peach with gold micro flakes. This is just a lovely almost neutral shade with a little flare. Shown is two coat plus top coat. These new shades will be available October, Thursday the 18th at 10am AEST (Australian site) www.emilydemolly.com.au and October, Wednesday the 17th at 8pm EDT (US and international site) www.emilydemolly.com Emily de Molly Website Facebook Instagram
Today I have an absolutely stunning upcoming collection from Emily de Molly to share! This collection releases on Thursday, August 16th at 10 AM AEST in Australia on the Australian Emily de Molly s…
Aussie Indie Con happened about a month and a half ago and I am trying desperately to swatch my way through all the polishes I grabbed on the day. I think at this exact moment in time I only have two Grace-full Nail Polish polishes and the holo stamping collection from Hit The Bottle left to swatch. It's actually a little strange seeing my swatch racks getting so empty (they were overflowing a couple of weeks ago). Never fear though, I do have some new polishes on their way but that's not we are here to talk about. Today, we are going to be having a look at all of the polishes that were in the VIP bags at Aussie Indie Con. Celestial Cosmetics The Coat Hanger. I am not sure I even want to try and describe this one. It's like it has duochrome glitters that shift from green to purple and golden flakes (I apologize to Nicki to butchering the description of this polish). It's definitely super unique and has a really good shift (it's better in person than my pictures). The formula is great and is opaque in two coats. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box with flash Emily De Molly A Minute To Spare is a blurple holo with blue flakes. I didn't actually realize that this one had flakes in it until I put it on my nails. Like with all EdM polishes, the formula is amazing (it's close to being a one coater) and the colour is gorgeous. I used two coats for my swatch. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box Picture taken in direct sunlight Picture taken in direct sunlight Femme Fatale Cosmetics Darling Eve has a purple based with a pinky shimmer and holo glitters. If you have been following me for a while you will know that one of the comments I make constantly about FF polishes is how sheer they are. Well I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn't that sheer. In fact, I think you could get away with two coats (if you don't mind it being a little see through at the tips). I really like the colour of this one too. For my swatch I used three coats. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box with flash Grace-Full Nail Polish Eldritch is a gorgeous rich purple holo. This is jaw dropping gorgeous! It's easily my favourite from the VIP polishes. The formula is perfection, and you could easily get away with one coat (especially if you have short nails). I used two coats for my swatch. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in direct sunlight Picture taken in direct sunlight Hit The Bottle On The Loose With Chartreuse is a metallic chartreuse stamping polish. Honestly, I wasn't too excited about this one in the bottle but on the nails I am all for it. I love how this looks on both white and black. Like all Hit The Bottle Stamping Polishes this one stamps beautifully. I used Lina Nail Art Supplies Feeling Shapely 03 stamping plate for my swatch. Picture taken in light box Joss Better Than Bare is a nude creme. This is actually the first Joss polish I have ever tried and to be honest I am really disappointed. The colour is gorgeous but the formula is patchy and it has all these random bits in it (you can see some of the bits on my middle and index nails). I did my best to remove these as I used it but got over it in the end. My swatch shows three coats. Picture taken in light box Joss Black Magic Holo is a black linear holo. I don't have much to say about this one. It's a black holo. It formula is easy to work with and it has a great holo effect. My swatch shows two coats. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in direct sunlight Picture taken in direct sunlight Miss Priss VIP Treatment is a lilac pink (is that such a thing? It is now lol) with gold glitters in various sizes. I'm not sure I like this one on me. The formula is easy to use. I used two coats for my swatch. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box with flash Powder Perfect Wonderful Tonight is a rose-purple holo with ultra holo glitters and metallic glitters in a myriad of colours. This one is more up my alley. It's a pretty colour and the formula is good. My swatch shows three coats. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in direct sunlight Picture taken in direct sunlight These last two polishes technically weren't in the VIP bag, but there was a voucher that you could take to the Pretty Serious Cosmetics table and select two polishes of your choice. I picked two from the Rainy Days Collection - which looking back now I should have chosen ones that would co-operate with my camera. So I apologize for the inaccurate colours of these polishes. Pretty Serious Cosmetics Petrichor is a steel blue creme. I really like the colour of this one and it's definitely unique in my collection (I know this for a fact because I have been sorting out my swatch sticks - it's a ridiculously huge job). The formula was disappointing. I was expecting it to be a nice opaque creme but it was like it had been watered down (but not a runny formula). It's weird. I ended up using three coats for my swatch. Picture taken in light box Pretty Serious Cosmetics Precipitation is a teal creme. I am a big fan of this colour but when it comes to photographing it, I don't like it at all. My cameras turn it to blue when in fact it is a lot more green toned than either of my pictures. Colour wise it is closer to the second picture than the first. The formula is fantastic and close to being a one coater. My swatch shows two coats. Picture taken in light box Picture taken in light box with flash And that is all of the polishes that was in the VIP bag at Aussie Indie Con 2017. There were some other goodies in the bag such as a shot glass, pen, wax melts, some vouchers and lots of Aussie Indie Con advertising. Not sure why that was in there or why there was so many. I think I had 6-7 pieces of paper with the exact same info on it. I'm going to guess that they printed to many and thought that was the best way to get rid of them. I really loved spending that day at Aussie Indie Con and am seriously hoping that there will be another one next year.

*press sample Hello lovelies! I have eight new shades from Emily de Molly to share with you. Hayley is the master at one of a kind polishes that really go outside the box. There are a lot of must-haves here in my opinion! Let's take a look.. Dreams Of Glass is a very pale purple (can lean grey) with blue shimmer, orange iridescent flakes and silver holographic micro glitters. This is one of my favorites! It is such a pretty and unique polish, and I didn't have any problems with application. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Expelled From Paradise is a pale pink/purple with strong green overlay shimmer, silver holographic micro glitters, and green chrome flakes. I've never been a fan of this type of green shimmer so it's personally not for me. The formula was nice though and I didn't have any issues. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Glimpses Of Twilight is a dark purple base with strong turquoise overlay shimmer, copper holographic micro glitters, and lots of metallic copper flakes. The copper flakes are my favorite part! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Double Take is a bright blue (warm) to purple based (cold) thermal with strong bright blue to purple shifting shimmer. Wow! It is so striking, I was really impressed. The purple base kind of disappears with all the shimmer and it just looks like an intense blue. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Cold Warm Transition Collector Of Maps is a green to purple multichrome with foil type shimmer, silver holographic micro glitters, and metallic blue micro glitters. There are some larger sized flakes here so I took a little more care with application. The shift to purple wasn't very obvious to me, it seemed more like a dark blue. Either way this is another stand out shade. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Teller Of Tales is a red based purple with copper overlay shimmer, green/blue/purple/red iridescent flakes, and copper holographic micro glitters. Oh. My. This is SO stunning and juicy. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Distance To The Sun is a copper (warm) to grey (cold) thermal with strong copper overlay shimmer, and silver holographic micro glitters. Another one of my favorites! The colors are so pretty and moody. I did struggle to get it to stay in the cold state long enough for photos so I'm sorry I don't have photos of it. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Warm Transition Magnetic Fields is a pink/orange/green multichrome magnetic with gold flakes. I was really surprised by this shade. I've never seen a magnetic polish with flakes before and it looks so awesome! You will need to purchase a magnet separately if you don't already own one. Shown is two coats plus top coat. These new shades will be available April, Monday the 23rd at 10am AEST ( Australian site ) www.emilydemolly.com.au and April, Sunday the 22nd at 8pm EDT ( US and international site ) www.emilydemolly.com Emily de Molly Website Facebook Instagram
Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have Emily de Molly's April release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches. Feels Pretty Real Feels Pretty Real features a lilac purple crelly base filled with flakies in shades of gold, orange and green. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Feels Pretty Real with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Glances To Stares Glances To Stares features a shimmery blackened base filled with a teal to purple shifting magnetic shimmer, copper hex glitters and small indigo blue flecks. The trick to this one is to wait for coats to dry down before moving on to the next so that the copper glitters are good and stuck in place. I found if I went for another coat while the previous was still somewhat wet, the glitters would all get dragged to the tip of my nails. I used two coats on all nails. On my third and fourth fingers I added a third coat and magnetized it. Photos show two coats (unmagnetized) and three coats (magnetized) of Glances To Stares with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Just Like This Just Like This features a medium blue (cold) to pinky-beige (warm) thermal base filled with a strong blue to violet shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with. I used three coats here for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Just Like This with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Taking Over Taking Over features a pale grey jelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades or pink, orange, gold and green. No issues with the formula. I used three coats here for full coverage. It does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show three coats of Taking Over with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Begin At The End Begin At The End feature an azure blue jelly base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of gold, pink and green. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Begin At The End with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. It's Never Enough It's Never Enough features a cornflower base filled with a strong pink shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of It's Never Enough with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Might Be A Scene Might Be A Scene features a purple jelly base filled with iridescent orange glitters, red shimmer and iridescent indigo flakes. The formula was good, especially for a polish packed with so much glitter and flakes. I used two coats here for full coverage. It does dry down with some glitter/flakie bumps so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Might Be A Scene with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Cloud My Vision Cloud My Vision features a pale blue-grey base filled with a pink to orange shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took three thin coats for full coverage. Photos show three coats of Cloud My Vision with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Note the slight bumps in the finish are user error on my part and rushing my application, not the result of the polish formula. Final Thoughts My personal favorites from this release are Begin At The End, Might Be A Scene and Cloud My Vision. The April release will be available on April 7th, 2021 at 10AM AEST on the Australian site and April 6th, 2021 at 8PM EDT on the US & International site. *press sample Hello lovelies! How is your October going so far? We have had a week of gorgeous sunshine and turning leaves. I've been trying to spend as much time outside as possible because I know it going to turn gloomy any day. Speaking of beautiful things, I am excited to share these eight stunning new polishes from Emily de Molly! When Hayley contacted me and asked if I'd like to swatch them I was thrilled. I've been wanting to grow my very small EdM collection for some time. Well let me tell you I was not disappointed at all with the colors and the formulas were all on point as well. Let's take a look.. End of Seasons is a burgundy to orange multichrome with gold holographic glitters. My photos don't show the color shift very well, but it's much more visible in person. Shown two coats plus top coat. Pretty Persona is a light pink with strong green to pink shimmer, iridescent flakes and fuchsia and silver micro glitters. The large flakes take a little more care in application. Shown is two coats plus top coat. The Counting Order is a light blue base with heavy green to pink shifting shimmer, iridescent and silver glitters and blue flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Chase the Charmed is a rose gold linear holographic with iridescent flakes. Nom nom nom. So stunning! Shown is two coats plus top coat. The Plain Wall is a pink toned light taupe with heavy turquoise shimmer and silver flakes. The shade is so unusual and subtle, I really dig it. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Ever Sort After is dark purple with green/purple/red multichrome shimmer and silver flakes. Shown is two coats plus top coat Land of Critique is a light purple holo with pink shimmer, red to green shifting glitters and silver micro glitters. So so pretty! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Stylish Cover Up is a dark purple to red thermal with gold shimmer. Thermals have never been my "thing" so I was really impressed with this one! Shown is two coats plus top coat. All eight shade will be available for purchase October, Friday the 20th at 10am AEDT (Australian site) and October, Thursday the 19th at 7pm EDT (US and international site). Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have Emily de Molly's January release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches. Ancient Dwellings Ancient Dwellings features a light chocolate brown jelly base filled with orange to gold to green shifting flakies. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Ancient Dwellings with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. It Never Ends It Never Ends features a deep purple jelly base filled with pink to orange to green shifting flakies. Another easy to work with formula taking two coats for full coverage. Top coat is recommended to smooth out any flakies divots. Photos show two coats of It Never Ends with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Raise The Stakes Raise The Stakes features a deep blurple jelly base filled with flakies in shades or blue, teal and purple. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two coats for full coverage. Top coat is recommended to smooth out any flakie divots. Photos show two coats of Raise The Stakes with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Steadfast Steadfast features a pinky peach base filled with a gold foiled shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Steadfast with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Tech Phrases Tech Phrases is a metallic sapphire blue. The formula was easy to work with. I used three coats for full coverage here, but it was so close after two that if you have shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me two may be enough. Photos show three coats of Tech Phrases with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Ugly Mood Ugly Mood features a medium pink base filled with a foiled blue shimmer. Another nice two coat formula. Photos show two coats of Ugly Mood with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Win Me Over Win Me Over features a light cornflower blue crelly base filled with flakies in shades of gole, copper and green. The formula was easy to work with and took three coats for full coverage. It did dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish.. Photos show three coats of Win Me Over with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics What A Rush top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Hold Me Close Hold Me Close features a medium blue tinted base filled with silver holo microglitters and a red to green shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two coats for full coverage. It does dry down with some minor glitter texture so top coat is recommended. Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have Emily de Molly's upcoming March release to share with you. Let's take a look at swatches. Be The Solution Be The Solution features a beige tinted based filled with silver holo microglitters and an icy purple shimmer. The formula was excellent and took two thing coats for full coverage. It also dried surprisingly smoothly for a microglitter. Photos show two coats of Be The Solution with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Leaking Words Leaking Words features a medium teal (cold) to pale blue (warm) thermal base filled with orange to green shifting iridescent flakies. My camera struggled a ton with this polish and made it lean much more true blue in the photos than in real life. The macro shot above is an accurate representation of the teal cold state. The formula itself was excellent. I used three coats for full coverage but it was so close after two that those with shorter nails or a less distinct nail line than me may find two is enough. Photos show three coats of Leaking Words with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Shades Of Night Shades Of Night features a deep purple based filled with a super strong red to bronze shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent taking two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Shades Of Night with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Makeshift Wings Makeshift Wings features a pale grey-purple crelly base filled with large particle green to blue shifting shimmer. The green shimmer is more evident in direct bright light and the blue shift comes out in muted lighting. The formula was easy to work with and took me three coats for full coverage. However, it was so close after two that two may be enough for some. This shade does dry to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show three coats of Makeshift Wings with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Past, Present, Future Past, Present, Futures features a deep blue base with a strong red to gold to green shifting shimmer and tiny silver holo flakes. The formula was excellent and took two thin coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Past, Present, Future with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Intensity Intensity features a saturated cobalt blue crelly base filled with small to medium white hex glitters. The formula was great. No issues with glitters piling up or drying down super bumpy. I used to coats here for full coverage. This shade does dry to a waxy finish so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Intensity with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Consider The Source Consider The Source features a medium muted purple base filled with orange to gold to green shifting flakies, blue iridescent flakies and tiny silver holo flakes. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Consider The Source with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Give The Act Up Give The Act Up features a pale muted blue base filled with iridescent flakies in shades of green, blue and orange along with tiny silver holo flecks. Another great formula with this one. I used two coats for full coverage. This does dry down with some minor flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Give The Act Up with one coat of Girly Bits Cosmetics Glitter Glaze top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Final Thoughts My personal favorites are Makeshift Wings, Past, Present, Future, Intensity and Give The Act Up. The March release will be available on Friday March 27th, 2020 at 10am AEDT on the Australian site and Thursday March 26th, 2020 at 7pm EDT on the US & International site. Emily de Molly Fanciful
A blog about nail polish, nail art, and beauty
This past month of Polish Pickup has been my favorite so far! I just got my order in the mail yesterday and put this shade on my nails immediately. The theme for April 2018 was Across the Universe:…
Emily de Molly Cosmic Forces must be considered a classic when it comes to indie polishes. It was very popular when it came out with the Forces collection in 2013. I wanted my own bottle for a long time before being able to get my hands on one, it was always sold out. The base is a dark plum jelly with holographic lavender circle glitter and smaller hex glitter and micro glitter in the same color. Really beautiful! I never got many of the circle glitters that was released when circle glitters were all the rave, so I never got tired of them. Did anyone really get tired of them? They're so pretty, especially in jelly bases. The formula wasn't super fun. I had quite a hard time getting a hold of the circle glitters, they had sunk to the bottom so I had to do some serious shaking of my bottle and do some advanced fishing. Well, it was worth it since it's so pretty. I did three coats.

Press Sample Hello readers, Today I have Emily De Molly's May 2018 release to share with you. This collection has everything from shimmers to magnetics to glitter crellies. Let's take a look at swatches. Causing Friction Causing Friction features a maroon crelly base with a gold flecked shimmer, orange to green shifting iridescent flakes and fuchsia glitter. The formula was ok. I did have to nudge the occasional flake around on the first coat. The second was easy to apply. This does dry to a matte finish with some texture so top coat is a must. Photos show two coats of Causing Friction with two coats of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Reflected Glory Reflected Glory is a rose gold holo with a metallic copper shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. The combination of holo and metallic makes the finish very shiny. Photos show two coats of Reflected Glory with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Mundane Tasks Mundane Tasks features a medium blue crelly base with small fuchsia and green glitters and a sprinkling of green flecked shimmer. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This dries down matte with a little bit of texture so top coat is strongly recommended. Photos show two coats of Mundane Tasks with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Travels By Day Travels By Day features a blackened blue jelly base with small blue flecks and a magnetic purple to blue to green shifting shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with. I applied the first coat with no magnet, and then used a bar magnet on the second coat. This shade dries to a satin finish and a glossy top coat really helps bring out the shifty shimmer. Photos show two coats of Travels By Day with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Lost In Translation Lost In Translation is a brown (cold) to pink (warm) thermal with a strong copper shimmer and small silver glitters. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This shade dries to a matte finish with a little bit of texture so top coat is recommended. Photos show two coats of Lost In Translation with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Larger Than Life Larger Than Life is a foiled chartreuse green with a golden shimmer and tiny silver holographic glitters. The formula was easy to work with taking two coats for full coverage. This dries quite shiny on it's own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show two coats of Larger Than Life with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Winter's Gate Winter's Gate features a pale greyed lilac base filled with tiny flecks that shift from gold to green to blue. The formula was relatively easy to work with though I found floating my brush slightly on the last coat helped give the most even coverage. Photos show three coats of Winter's Gate with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. The Longest Night The Longest Night features a deep teal base with a fine green-gold shimmer and lots of tiny silver holo glitters. The formula was easy to work with and quite pigmented taking two coats for full coverage. This dries quite shiny on its own but I added top coat out of habit. Photos show two coats of The Longest Night with one coat of Lucky 13 Lacquer Elemental Ward top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Conclusion My personal favorites from this release are Reflected Glory, Winter's Gate and The Longest Night. *press sample Hello my lovely Society Sisters! Today I have the first Emily de Molly releases of the year! As usual for my EdM review I have eight new shades to share in a wide variety in colors and finishes. The formulas were all nice and I didn't have any issues. Some of these shades I REALLY liked, and one was a surprise favorite! Let's take a look.. Vexed is a light brown holo with green to pink foil type shimmer and silver micro glitters. This is a unique neutral shade with lots of subtleties. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Revolving Door is a dark brown holo with copper flakes, copper micro glitters and a gold/copper magnetic effect. The warm tones of the copper are so pretty and it magnetized pretty well. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Birthday Project is a medium blue crelly with copper and iridescent blue glitters. Oh yes, my crelly loving heart! Love the color combo and it applied nicely. Shown is two coats plus top coat. (LIMITED TO ONE LARGE BATCH) Trips Abroad is a bright sunflower yellow/orange with iridescent flakes and gold micro glitters. This was my surprise favorite! Yellows don't usually look good on me but this shade was actually kind of flattering. SHOCKED! I almost stopped at two coats but it looked brighter with one more. Shown is three coats plus top coat. Heated Discussions is a saturated red base with gold and pink shimmers and an orange/red magnetic effect. I couldn't get the magnet effect as strong as the other one but it still turned out pretty. Shown is two coats plus top coat. (LIMITED TO ONE LARGE BATCH) Midnight Mermaid is a dark blue with green shimmer and blue iridescent flakes. This has a deep and mysterious quality to it. The flakes take some pushing around to apply evenly, but it wasn't that much effort. Shown is two coats plus top coat. Leave It To Me is a purple base with a pink to copper shimmer and metallic silver flakes. This reminds me of some of my favorite OPI shimmer shades. So beautiful! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Opposite Order is a brown base with turquoise blue to purple foil shifting shimmer. This formula is very smooth and reflective, similar to Sea of Lies and Save Your Boredom. This one doesn't excite me in the same way but Hayley hinted that she'll be making more of these foil shimmer shades! Shown is two coats plus top coat. Launching January, Wednesday the 9th at 10am AEDT (Australian site) www.emilydemolly.com.au January, Tuesday the 8th at 6pm EST (USA and international site) www.emilydemolly.com Emily de Molly Website Facebook Instagram What do you think of these new shades? My top picks would have to be Trips Abroad, Leave it to Me, Revolving Door, and Birthday Project.

Euro Trip Euro Trip features a magenta pink crelly base filled iridescent flakes in shades of indigo, green, copper and gold. The formula was nicely pigmented and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries down to a satin finish with some flakie divots so top coat is recommended for a smooth shiny finish. Photos show two coats of Euro Trip with one coat of Glisten & Glow H.K. Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Light The Way Light The Way features a sheer purple tinted base filled with coppery red to gold to green shifting shimmer. The formula was excellent and took three thin coats for full coverage. This shade just glows. It dries down slightly satin so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show three coats of Light The Way with one coat of Glisten & Glow H.K. Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Expert Opinion Expert Opinion features a navy blue base with a fine silver magnetic shimmer and sprinkling of small silver holo flecks. The formula was easy to work with and nicely pigmented. Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Dark Topic Dark Topic features a saturated blue-green jelly base filled with green to violet shifting flakies and a sprinkling of teeny silver holo glitters. Past Worth Saving Past Worth Saving features a grey tinted based filled with silve holo microglitters and a coppery red to gold to green shifting shimmer. The formula was easy to apply and I used three coats here for full coverage. It was so close after two however that you may find two is enough. This is a microglitter polish so depending on the consistency of your top coat to may need two coats for a perfect smooth finish. I found that one was enough for me. Photos show three coats of Past Worth Saving with one coat of Glisten & Glow H.K. Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Reruns Reruns features a pale muted purple crelly base filled with orange to gold to green shifting iridescent flakies. This shade dries down to a matte finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show three coats of Twenty Questions with one coat of Glisten & Glow H.K. Girl top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Diamond Eyes Diamond Eyes features a clear base packed with small silver holo flecks and a soft amethyst sheen. Let's take a look at swatches. Undertones Undertones features a bright pink leaning purple base filled with a stron foiled blue shimmer. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. This shade dries to a satin finish so top coat is recommended for shine. Photos show two coats of Old Friend Of Mine with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Parallel Worlds Parallel Worlds features a reddish-pinkish-purpleish base filled with green to blue shifting aurora shimmer. This thing is a chameleon and changes quite a bit depending on your lighting. I found in bright direct lighting it looks like the swatches below. In shaded lighting in leans more purple and the blue tones of the shimmer come out more. The formula was easy to work with and took two coats for full coverage. Photos show two coats of Parallel Worlds with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. Sheer Thrills Sheer Thrills features a pale greyed out purple base with a strong green to pink shifting shimmer and lots of green to purple shifting metallic flakes. No issues with the formula and I used two coats for full coverage. This dries with some flakie divots so you'll want to top coat it for a nice smooth finish. Photos show two coats of Sheer Thrills with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. The Dragon King The Dragon King features a deep khaki green crelly base filled with iridescent flakes in shades of pink, orange and green. The formula quite easy to work with (especially for a flakie filled crelly) and took two coats for full coverage. You'll want to add top coat to smooth out the occasional flakie divot. Photos show two coats of The Dragon King with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. The Uttermost The Uttermost features a super bright, almost neon, coral base filled with gold to purple shifting aurora shimmer. The formula was very easy to work with and really pigmented. Photos show two coats of The Uttermost with one coat of Essie Gel Couture top coat in daylight spectrum lighting. A Better Tomorrow A Better Tomorrow features a medium steely blue holo base with a soft green flash and a sprinkling of tiny holo glitters.
