Hi Everyone, It's only a couple of days until you can order from the upcoming January-April 2023 catalog. It goes live for customers on January 5th! Here is a sneak peak of the dies from the Dainty Delight bundle. It has a coordinating stamp set but I didn't use it for this project using a sentiment from Quiet Meadow instead. The pretty piece of background DSP is from a Sale-A-Bration item called Dainty Flowers. You can earn this for free after spending $50 (pre tax & shipping) from January 5th - February 28th 2023. Hope you enjoy! Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today I am taking part in the INK Stamp Share showcase blog hop - a chance for us to show you the projects we have been working on recently. I have just added the Dainty Delight dies to my stash and this is the first card I have made with them. This card is actually inspired by a card on page 54 of the new Mini Catalogue - in fact it was this card sample that prompted me to buy the dies. The sentiment I have used is from the "Sending Flowers" stamp set. I added some matching DSP on the inside too. I hope you like my card. I'll be back with a video tutorial soon so please pop back to see that. Meanwhile, do keep on hopping around all the other links below to see the amazing projects everyone else has been making. Welcome to the latest challenge at As You See It. It's time again for the Recipe Challenge: what can you cook up using all five of our mystery ingredients? So? What to do with a frame, a bow, a die cut, flowers and shades of blue? Well, it was time to play with some new things and try them out with some older things. Can you see what's new and what was already in the stash? I started by watercolouring some Fluid100 paper with Azure Afternoon, Boho Blue and Misty Moonlight. (three new colours right there! )From that, I cut some flowers using the Dainty Delight dies (already in the stash). The stems and leaves were cut from Night of Navy. That ticked off three of the ingredients: shades of blue, flowers and die cut, The frame was cut using the two largest squares in Stylish Shapes (a staple ingredient in my craft room 😀). So, another die cut. The sentiment and the label are from Timeless Arrangements, a new but not yet explored, new bundle. It's stamped in Azure Afternoon. I added the double bow to accentuate the sentiment. The card front is embossed using a new folder - Exposed Brick 3D. So now, with the frame and the bow, all ingredients have been used. We'd love to see what you can come up with using these five items. Pop over to the As You See It page to see what the rest of the team have done and to link up your own entry. Hi and welcome friends, A beautiful subtle coloured card today which could be used for a variety of occasions. I stamped the flowers from the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708) onto Very Vanilla card (#106550) I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the flowers & leaves - Flirty Flamingo (#154884), Daffodil Delight (#154883), and Granny Apple Green (#154885). This was cut with a Dainty Delight Die (#160674). The card base is Very Vanilla. The card front is Hello, Irresistible (#161468) 6”x6” Designer Series Paper (#161139). I stamped the next layer with the Countryside Corners stamp set (#161468) and Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). This was cut with a Countryside Corners die (#161471). I also cut another piece of Very Vanilla card with the next smaller die and embossed this with a Basics Die161598) and attached it on top. The flowers were attached on top with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (#144108). The sentiment from Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and cut with another Countryside Corners die. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The cute Brush Brass Butterflies (#158136) were added to the card. “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. I saw a technique earlier in the week, shared by Melodie Vijoen, a member of the Stampin’ Up! Artisan Design Team. She showed a card with partial die cutting and I knew I wanted to try it with the Dainty Delight bundle.I love how the Stylish Shapes dies have a stitch effect on the outside as well as the inside, it’s not often I use the piece that the shape has been cut from but that’s what I’m doing here. First I cut my layers, the dsp is 5 1/2” x 3 3/4” and the white layer is 5 1/4” x 3 1/2”. N
It's Fill in the Blank week at As You See It this week. What's your favourite thing about Spring? The return of flowers is the obvious and most beautiful thing but I decided that I wanted to do the return of the butterflies instead. It turns out that it's pretty much impossible to do butterflies without including at least some blossom as well! 😀 I had two in-person classes yesterday so my craft things were spread out between my craft room and my teaching space. I decided to use the things I had out in for classes and only had to go fetch the Butterfly Brilliance dies, the Bricks & Mortar embossing folder and some inks. After some ink-smooshing and some die-cutting, this is where I ended up. The sentiment and die is from the Something Fancy bundle. The embellishments are Iridescent Rhinestones. If you'd like to see how I made this - and maybe CAS(e) one of your own - watch this tutorial. I've included some tips and tricks to make it even easier. Don't forget to visit the As You See It page to see what the rest of the team have done with this sketch and to share your own take on the sketch. We'd love to see how YOU see it. Today wraps up my week using the Dainty Delight Bundle for my cards. I've shared two cards (here and here) so far that use the stamped floral images and one (here) with the cardstock
Happy Wednesday, peeps! After a long shipping delay, I finally got my Dainty Delight bundle and just couldn't wait to play...I just love those delicate florals! The first go-round was with the stamps only; I pulled out some Thick Basic White cardstock and my Stamparatus and got to work: I stamped the largest image in Crumb Cake and lightly watercolored the images in with various colors: To give it a little interest, I embossed it with the retired Subtle embossing folder before adding a Crushed Curry tag on which I embossed a sentiment from the same set. It was diecut with a Countryside Corners die, and I added a little retired Bumblebee gingham ribbon for fun: I am also going to squeak this in over at As You See It, where they want to see your newest addition to your craft stash! This set has endless possibilities, and I've not even begun to check out the dies yet! Thanks for visiting today--enjoy it and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU! Hi again everyone, A pretty card today using the Dainty Delight stamp set (#161078). I stamped the floral image with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132708). I cut this with a Dainty Delight die (#160674). I attached a piece of Fresh Freesia card (#155614) onto the Basic White base card (#159228). I dry embossed the Basic White card front with the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder (#161473) and attached this to the card. The Fresh Freesia card was cut with a Radiating Stitches Die (#161595). The floral image was attached with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). The sentiment from the Go To Greetings stamp set (#158763) was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink (#147099) and cut with a Countryside Corners Die (#161471). Stampin' Up Dainty Delight stamp set is what graces this beautiful card with creative cuts to make a unique card front. Join me to see how to make this card.
Today's card features Stampin' Up Dainty Delights Bundle. This week's Paper Players Challenge is a color challenge: Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly and a Neutral. I started with a panel of Basic White card stock that I dry embossed with Stampin' Up Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. I adhered a strip of Stampin' Up Hello, Irresistible DSP (currently on sale 15% off.) to the embossed panel with Stampin' Seal. I die cut a piece of Lost Lagoon, Lemon Lolly and Early Espresso card stock with Stampin' Up Dainty Delight Dies. I adhered the die cuts to the card front with liquid adhesive. I stamped the sentiment from Stampin' Up Go To Greetings Stamp Set with Pretty Peacock ink on a strip of Stampin' Up Hello, Irresistible DSP. I punched each end off with Stampin' Up Happy Label Pick A Punch. I adhered the sentiment to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals. I finished the front off with Stampin' Up Brushed Brass Butterflies. I adhered the card front to a Basic White Thick card base. The inside is a panel of Basic White with a strip of DSP adhered to it. WOW!!!!! Here is a sneak peek! I used some NEW products that will be available in the upcoming January-April 2023 (Spring) Mini Catalog & the January-February Sale-a-bration Mini Catalog! This gorgeous DSP is from the Dainty Flowers 12x12 DSP that is a Sale-a-bration Choice you can get for FREE with a $50 product order. The Dainty Delight Bundle on page 55 in the Spring Catalog coordinates with this Dainty Flowers DSP. Isn't this card just sooo pretty! I would call is a simple elegance!
