Sunday afternoon was my Customer Appreciation BINGO event for all my customers. There were a total of 38 that showed up to party with me. I made each of them a fun little bag with some goodies in it using the Gift Bag Punch Board. Here is a closeup of one of the little bags. I used the new In Colors cardstock and DSP and added the cute new little bows to match. I am starting to really fall in love with this punch board. So many things you can make with it and quick too. All set up and ready for my stampin' friends to arrive. Table of BINGO! prizes. Always a little stampin' to do. I had two make-n-takes set up. Full House! Wohoo! or I should say Full Garage! more stampin' friends, and a couple more hiding in the corner. I am grateful to each and everyone of these ladies, not because of their business but because of their friendship. The best thing I like about my job is getting to meet new people and becoming lifelong friends. Love it! Thanks for stopping by and have a good day everyone! Twila
Hey everyone, I had a great Customer Appreciation event this year! Thanks to everyone who attended, and I missed those who couldn't make it! We made six projects using Stampin' Up! stuff - three cards, a 12x12 scrapbook page, a square pillow box for Halloween treats, and a cute cellophane bag with treats! I believe I copied at least one of these (the remarkable one)! I appreciate you all! I have to give a shout out to my helpers, too. Kris and Landa worked VERY HARD all day, and Isabelle helped set up and worked all day, too! Of course, Scott helped with set up and clean up, too. I couldn't do these events without my helpers!! Here are the project directions and supply lists. Have a great week! It's back to school week for us. Thanks! Jennifer Order Online Anytime!

I need coffee!! And I don't even drink it!! This week has been crazy preparing for my Annual Customer Appreciation Event down at the stamp studio (later today)!! Time always gets away from me! I feel like I have lots of time to get everything accomplished and then, next thing you know, it's 2am and I'm just going to bed!! Well, it will be totally worth it!! I can't wait to spoil all of my local customers with free make-n-takes, a super cute treat made especially for them, lots of snacks, a fun raffle and a BOGO sale!! I'll be sure to post pics of the event next week. We're heading out of town for a few days this weekend for a last hurrah before it's back to school time! (and then I should be back on track!). Summer is always so much fun, but it sure is tiring!! Ok, so back to our card and the need for coffee.... We start our card with a Crumb Cake card base, then added a layer of Early Espresso card stock, followed by a layer of Whisper White card stock. Next, we added 2 strips of the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (DSP) to the bottom of our card. I think the tones of this DSP are perfect for masculine cards, too (something I always need more of!). I can't wait to create more projects with this DSP! Coffee Break Designer Series Paper 144155 Before adding our Whisper White layer to our card, we put a strip of Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon around the Whisper White layer and tacked it on the back. Then, we tied a bow around this strip with a separate piece of ribbon. This ribbon has such a classic look, hence the name! Crumb Cake Classic Weave Ribbon 144162 Now the fun really begins.... We die-cut our coffee cup (in Crumb Cake card stock), the sleeve around it (in Whisper White card stock) and the clear top (using our Window Sheets) with the new Coffee Cup Framelits. We also stamped "Thanks a Latte" (in Garden Green ink) and our coffee beans (in Early Espresso ink) using the Coffee Cafe Stamp Set. These pieces were also die-cut with the Coffee Cup Framelits. This stamp set and framelits are so much fun to play with - just look at those cute coffee beans :). You can purchase this stamp set and framelits separately, or save 10% when you buy them in the bundle (and why wouldn't you want to do that??). Coffee Cafe Stamp Set 143677 Coffee Cup Framelits 143745 Coffee Cafe Bundle 145331 Window Sheets 142314 Before adding our coffee cup to our card, we stamped the straw (in Garden Green ink) and the "whip" (in Smoky Slate ink) directly onto our Whisper White layer. Just place the coffee cup about where you'd like it, then do your stamping - this should help you get things lined up nicely! I hope you enjoyed this card! Thanks so much to Jessica Hill for her inspiration on this card! And... it's your last chance to order my latest TO GO kit class!! Make these 4 awesome birthday cards in the comfort of your own home anytime you'd like! Check out all of the details on this great TO GO kit class here!! Please RSVP and prepay by Friday, August 25. The BOGO product tables had to go outside (looked kind of like a sidewalk sale!) - there just wasn't any more room in the studio!! I made a treat for each customer... We made cello bags (filled with a York peppermint patty (yum!), Hershey kisses, and Lilly's new favorite, Werther's Caramels!!). The topper was made with the Let Your Hair Down Hostess Stamp set, a piece of 4 x 4 1/4" Tempting Turquoise card stock (scored in the middle at 2") and Daffodil Delight patterned DSP from the Sweet Taffy Designer Series Paper pack. We also used the 1 3/4" scallop circle punch, 1 3/8" circle punch and the Modern Label Punch for the little tag itself. I think everyone enjoyed their treats!! A little kindness sure does go a long way..... We started this card with a Marina Mist card base, then added a layer of Whisper White card stock (cut at 4 x 5 1/4"). Then, the fun begins (I just love stamping!!) - we stamped the sun and the sentiment in Daffodil Delight, the butterflies in Tangerine Tango and the Dots in Marina Mist - all from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp set. The butterflies were then punched out with the coordinating Elegant Butterfly and Bitty Butterfly punches. Finally, we added a couple of Rhinestones to each of the butterflies. Punch a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle in Lost Lagoon, then stamp the flower/circle in Hello Honey (and punch out with the 1 3/8" circle punch), and the "for you" in Lost Lagoon (and punch out with the 1 1/4" circle punch) - both images are from the Hello There Hostess Stamp Set. We held our Annual Customer Appreciation Event at the Stamp Studio at the end of August! It's always so much fun to spoil my customers at this event!! I love to say thank you any way I can, whether it's a handmade card in the mail, a cute treat in their order bag or a big event like this!! I appreciate each and every customer, and more importantly, consider them friends as well! Thank you for your continued support of my Stampin' Up! business AND for your friendship :) They were treated with a fun "spread" of desserts, snacks and a yummy lime sherbet punch when they walked in the door! I made a cute "treat" for everyone to take home! These treats were inspired by Erica Cerwin's Foil Frenzy Chocolate Box video. Click here to see the video and learn how to make your own treat boxes! She's got TONS of cute projects and videos on her PinkBuckaroo Youtube Channel - check them out!! I made my treat box a little bit larger because I used a different treat inside these boxes. My paper/dimensions were 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 1 1/2, 2 1/2, 4, 5 and then 3/4" along the bottom. The new Holiday Catalog was the star of the show!! I think everyone was excited to get their hands on our latest holiday catalog :). I already have a bunch of product from the Holiday Catalog, so I set some of it out on display for everyone to see! We also had a raffle drawing for some fun new Holiday and Annual Catalog product.... There was lots of info about upcoming classes - you got another entry into the raffle drawing for every class you signed up for!! Watch the video of the winners in the raffle drawing here!! And don't forget about the free make-n-takes.... One of our cards featured the (favorite from the Annual Catalog) Daisy Punch and Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper..... The other make-n-take featured the Painted Harvest Stamp Set from the new Holiday Catalog... Watch for more details on our make-n-takes in future blog posts :). Here are a few of the ladies getting ready to do their make-n-takes... I think everyone had a great time!! I know I sure did!! It's always so great to say "thank you" to each of my customers!! I hope you were Inkspired today :).

Its our customer appreciation event tomorrow, I am so looking forward to meeting up with those customers I haven't seen for a while and those that I see on a regular basis. Thats one of the great things about Stampin'Up. We have 3 make and takes, CAKE, and some other bits and pieces going on. Love the pencils, I have done lots of card fronts but not made them up yet and I have used a whole range of papers to use them on. On February 11th we are holding a workshop to really look at techniques using these pencils. There is such a range of stamp sets in the catalogue now to use the pencils with its quite hard to choose which to use. Mediterranean Moments is a set of four stamps but it is one of those sets with no sentiments, I often avoid these for a customer based class as if all your customers are new to stamping its rare you would do a card without a sentiment. However its a great set for water colouring with the pencils. Not my usual colour combo but the picture lent itself to them, love the new paper doilies, cream on one side white on the other. Now isn't that a handsome cat............ What do you think? If you are local to Halifax (UK) pop in and have go 11.00 - 3.00 tomorrow Unit G3 HX2 6EQ opposite the cafe. Want to order online don't forget to use the hostess code at the top of the page, here is a list of what I have used you can click on the items and you will go straight through to my online shop. Here's a cute treat I made for each person that attended a Customer Appreciation Event that was held earlier this fall. I also gave them to each of my club members! I got the idea from Erica Cerwin at our Creative Convention a few months ago. This reindeer has been such a big hit this year! Fold along all score lines. Then, accordian-fold the sides and adhere the back seam with Fast Fuse or Tear & Tape.
