Hello and welcome. Today I am taking part in the Creativity Abounds Blog Hop. Each month we create a tutorial bundle based on a theme and also do a blog hop. Our theme this time around is the Hand Penned Suite. This suite is absolutely gorgeous! Since I am in the middle of my Hand Penned series, this blog hop comes at the perfect time and I have combined Part Three of my series with this blog hop. Hello, crafty friends. It's Sunday and that means its time for a new challenge at Sunday Stamps! and here's what I made using the Honeybee Home stamp set and matching Honeybee Blooms Dies from the upcoming January - June 2022 Mini Catalog. I am a sucker for flowers as most of my customers know so this bundle is rated on the awesome scale for me. The Honeybee Home Bundle is part of the Heart & Home Suite Collection and coordinates perfectly with the Blessings of Home Bundle. There are lots of goodies in this suite that I consider "must haves". I colored the flowers using Calypso Coral, Just Jade and Shaded Spruce Stampin Blends and added some Garden Green die cuts from the matching Honeybee Blooms Dies set. I adhered my flowers to two patterns of DSP from the Heart & Home 12" x 12" DSP following this weeks new sketch challenge by Heather. To play along, simply follow the challenge guidelines below: Use any brand of products you have; Link your new project you created for this challenge (no backlinks) to the Sunday Stamps! blog; Provide a link to the Sunday Stamps! website and/or the challenge picture in your post; Feel free to combine our challenge with up to four other challenges; and most of all- Have fun creating with us! This weeks challenge will end on Friday, December 24, 2021 at 6:00 pm EST. The Heart & Home Suite also contains matching Memories & More Cards and coordinating Cards and Envelopes, a Hive 3D Embossing Folder, Classic Matte Dots, Denim Ribbon and coordinating paper doilies!!! Yah! If you are a customer of mine, your copy of the January - June 2022 Mini Catalog and the Sale-a-bration Brochure will be mailed to you very soon. Yah! Welcome to the Around The World on Wednesday July Blog Hop and this month we are CASEing our fellow Team Members for some fun inspiration. You will have the opportunity to visit many talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world and be inspired by their creative ideas. We also have two wonderful special guests this month - the very talented Kylie and Bruno Bertucci, for added inspiration. I hope you will enjoy our blog hop this month. How does this work? Each of us will be using a card designed by a fellow team member as our inspiration for our project this month. I am so excited to be CASEing the wonderful Satomi Wellard, a fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrator from Japan and Australia. I chose to CASE the beautiful card shown above that Satomi created using the Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (item #152483) and I loved the layout with the contrasting paper colors and designs. Below is the design that I came up with that was inspired by her lovely card design. For my card design, I chose to do a simple fun fold. I chose Gray Granite cardstock for the card base and I cut a 5 1/2" x 7 1/2" piece and scored it at 3 1/4". For the front panel, I cut a 3 1/8" x 5 3/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock and attached it to the card front. For the inside panel, I cut a 5 3/8" x 4 1/8" piece of Whisper White cardstock. I cut a piece of the Peony Garden Suite Designer Series Paper at 5 1/4" x 4" and then I cut a 1" strip off so that I had two pieces - 5 1/4" x 3" and 5 1/4" x 1". Attached the larger piece to the card front with the Gray Granite pattern facing up and I attached the 1" strip to the inside panel on the right side, with the Petal Pink pattern facing up. To create the focal design, I die cut the base layer of the butterflies die image from the Butterfly Beauty Dies (item #151819) from Thick Whisper White cardstock and the detailed layer was die cut from Gold Foil. I adhered the Gold detailed layer to the Whisper White layer and then attached the butterflies to the card front so that they slightly overlapped the card front. I die cut two of the small butterflies from Gold Foil and attached them to the inside panel of the card on opposite corners to decorate. I liked the elegant touch the Gold Foil added to the inside design. The sentiment was created using the Gorgeous Posies stamp set (item #153289) and I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold Embossing Powder onto a 3/4" strip of Whisper White cardstock and created a label using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (item #152883). I layered it onto a 1" Petal Pink cardstock label that I created also using the punch. To complete the card design, I attached the sentiment label to the card front with Stampin' Dimensionals and embellished the label and the card front with small Basic Rhinestones for a touch of bling. I love that I was able to take elements from Satomi's wonderful card to help me create my own unique design. It's one of my favorite things about CASEing. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog today. I hope that you have enjoyed my card design and I hope that it encourages you to CASE designs to help you explore new ways to create your projects. It can open up a whole new world of creativity. The products I chose for my card design can be found in the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. Now it's time to continue your journey and visit Elaine's Blog to see what she has created. Here is the incredible Blossoms in Bloom card that I wanted to share with you. I have used the amazing Stampin' Up!® Window sheets to create this amazing project today. I also used the gorgeous new paper from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper for the background. I have also used the Stampin' Up!® Cardstock Vellum and sponged it with Flirty Flamingo. The die cuts were cut in the new Magenta Madness In colour Cardstock. I love the Stampin' Up!® Adhesive sheets to be able to stick these down easily on the window sheets. When you open the card - WOW! What a surprise to realise that it's like those beautiful flowers are floating on the window sheet. I then did add more Designer Series Paper on the inside so that those flowers could display all their glory! lol. Well they are very pretty. I then decorated the base and added the thinking of you sentiment and some more of the wonderful Many Layered Blossoms. But where was I going to write on this card? I love to write something special and didn't want to just use the back of the card.. so I added another layer so that it could open up and reveal more amazingness! And of course I decorated them as well. I had so much fun making this card! Do you want to see a video??? Welcome to this months International Blog Highlights. The theme is 'Thank You' and my entry below uses the Blossom in Blooms bundle. My card this month is a relatively easy card to make although a little fiddly with some fussy cutting. I die cut the blooms image using Mango Melody and Granny Apple Green card. After position and gluing the image in place on the Pacific Point cardstock I then fussy cut around 2 sides. Inking the 'Thank You' sentiment in Pacific Point ink onto Mango Melody card and using the classic label punch to finish the card. I do hope you like my card and, if so, I would love you to vote for me. Please vote by clicking on the button below where you will be taken to the gallery of cards and to vote for me you need to click on the heart at the top right of the picture. I really enjoyed making this card, even with the fiddly fussing cutting so continued and make a few more designs using the Blossoms in Bloom bundle with a variety of colour combinations which I will add to my blog later this week, so please do pop back.
