Hello Whimsy Friends. Ellenor here, it is my turn today to show you one of my cards. I have used the gorgeous stamp Iris, designed by Syliva Zet. I had so much fun colouring her, particularly the wings. My favorite colour is pink, but this time I really stepped outside my comfort zone and used the colour blue instead. How do you like her with blue wings? I LOVE IT :) ****** I have used polychromos for my colouring: Hair: 187, 283 Face: 131, 132, 187, 189 Wings: 145, 152, 247 Flowers: 135, 160, 194 Cloths; 181, 232, 233 Thank you so much for stopping by today. Happy December Whimsy fans! Oh my goodness, there's only 17 days left till Christmas! Where does the time go? Tammy Louise here to share a make with some terrific Whimsy products including dies and this adorable Wee image called Berries! This project is pink and dainty with the beautiful Snowflake doily die layer! The berries on a twig and vintage ribbon is a perfect match to the image! Isn't this Wee image with her little kitty just adorable! I decided after shading the image that the greys distracted from the light tones so I grabbed up the new snowflake background stamp from today's release and masking the image, stamped it and embossed with white powder. Adding just the right contrast for the darker coloring! Really love the pop effect! More info or ingredients can be found at HandmadebyTLC. Hello lovely people, I very much enjoyed a day of crafting yesterday, especially as Dr. Hubby was nowhere to be seen for most of the day since he was happily playing a newly released, and much anticipated, game for the Playstation 4! I had a lovely time experimenting with some more of my new stamps :-) Now, it's time for a new challenge at As You Like It and we have a lovely theme for you... YOUR FAVOURITE...FLOWER ...and don't forget to tell us why it's your favourite! Very appropriately given our theme, our sponsor this time is Wild Orchid Crafts with a £12 voucher My favourite flower might be a little predictable but it's roses, even more from a card-making sense than IRL! I love the way roses can be used on both modern and vintage style designs and of course, I love to use 3D roses on my creations, but I have them on the image and papers here too! It's quite a 'classic Kat' kind of card but I did do a couple of tiny things differently to usual. The biggest difference is the use of Inktense pencils to colour the image rather than my Copics, and I have to say I am loving these more and more. I feel happy that I have now figured out how to get a nice flicking effect on the hair which I think adds a lot of texture. I used a darker Distress Ink to edge my papers and image to give more of an 'antique' feel, so this is Gathered Twigs instead of my favourite Frayed Burlap. I also didn't take the twine across the entire card...ok, that's a VERY tiny difference - lol! It's funny isn't it how we all have our favourite die cuts that get used a lot and some that don't...but just sometimes are perfect for a project. That was the case with this corner die cut that I really like but don't use a lot as it often doesn't seem to suit the card...I hope you agree it found it's niche here! I have still used my beloved Maja DP but this is some that I haven't used before even though it's from quite an old collection and I am loving the deep blue. I hope you will pop over to As You Like It and check out the fabulously creative projects from the rest of the team :-) Thanks for visiting and I really appreciate any comments that you leave, Card recipe; Image: Sweetie - Wee Stamps for Whimsy Stamps DP: Vintage Autumn - Maja Design (available from Live and Love Crafts) Flowers: Wild Orchid Crafts Twine: Ivory button twine - The Ribbon Girl Tag: Sentiment tags - LOTV Dies: Filigree corner - La La Land Inktense colours; Skin: 1800 Baked Earth, 1520 Carmine Pink, 1740 Saddle Brown Hair: 1740 Saddle Brown, 1730 Oak, 2010 Sepia Ink Dress / flowers: 0830 Navy Blue, 0840 Iron Blue Leaves: 1540 Light Olive

I’m still on my Wee Stamps trip and today I’ve paired Wee Cindy from Whimsy Stamps up with new Pion Scent of Lavender papers and some of the delish goodies now in stock at Noor Design. Coloured with Copic markers, I used: Hair: E43, 41, 40 Skin: E13, 11, 00, 000, R20 Dress/wings/shoes/envelope/flowers: V95, 93, 91; E42, 40 The stunning lace butterfly just fitted perfect for this card, so pretty and quite dimensional too. The tiny bit of scalloped border peeking out is from the Magnolia Club Kit Volume 9. That’s all sold out now but I believe there is a one or two Volume 10’s still up for grabs. These are amazing value for money, when I saw what I got for my money it about blew my mind. The large shabby/frilly flowers I made using the new Flowers of Joy dies (links below). I followed Norma’s tutorial which is fantastic and easy to follow too and works perfect every time. I finished this off with the stunning lace and pretty corner die cut. I have one more Wee card to share, that’ll be posted here on Friday Products from Noor Design: Flowers of Joy Dies Pion Design Scent of Lavender Flowers of Provence Pion Design Scent of Lavender The Song of a Bird 0564 Floral corner die 0452 Sunflower die set 0032 Vintage flourishes leaf die Lace Estelle - Ivory Lace Butterflies Poppies Creative Expressions Maidenhair Fern die

Good morning Whimsy Fans! Ellie here today, it's my turn to share a project with you today! I hope you will like it! I made this card for the last Whimsy release, using the super adorable "Peggy" by Sylvia Zet. Isn't she adorable??!! After stamping her I cut her and her little birdie friend out to fit my card. The hills were made using an old creative memories cutting system. I adhered the different hill layerr with dimensionals. The sky in the background is just some really old designer paper, that I had laying around from back when I was still scrapbooking. Wow, that must be at least 8 or 9 years old!!! I simply embellished with some twine and a button, and then did some sewing. If you are thinking this card is missing something, you are right! It is missing the sentiment, which I didn't notice until I had it posted to my personal blog a couple of weeks ago. Oh well, I will probably just tuck a small sentiment under the button somehow before I give it away. I hope I inspired you with my card today! A pretty easy card to recreate! Thanks so much for visiting!
Happy Saturday peeps, hope you are all looking forward to a great weekend, here in the UK we are basking in real sunshine, its been a bit late coming this year but all the more welcome for that, the only problem is the heat does make it difficult to craft and none of my Alcohol Markers are blending properly, began to think I had lost my touch with them but with the temperature reaching over 95 degrees in my craft room I think they must be suffering from sunstroke. Say Hello to little Amy released by Whimsey Stamps, she has been coloured with Copic Markers (colours below). The papers are from Nitwits Collections, I am loving the new Sentiment Dies by Whimsey Dies they are going to be so useful. I have popped a Memory Box Die – Tilda Swirl Die behind the image, all these products are available from Oyster Stamps, I have also used a couple of Doo-Hickey Dies as well they are Floral swirl Corner and Clover with Flowers. Copics Used on this Image; Flesh: E11, E00, E000, E0000 Hair E17, E15, E13, E11, E53 Pinks: R83, R81, RV000, RV0000 Greens: YG97, YG93, YG91 Bieges: E43, E40 Thanks for looking now go and enjoy the Sunshine Hugs Jacs xx

HI, Céline here with my first DT post here. I fell in love with this "Poppy" stamp of the January New release. And as a fan of red I have to make her in red. I've made a square base card with an insert card where a message can be added in the double scallop doily. On my square base I've added a piece of paper with some ruffle ribbon bordures. To frame the image I've used Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles, layered on a piece of red cardstock. As it's a birthday card I've used Birthday large word die. To decorate, I've added some flowers with Honeycomb pattern and vines set dies. I've colored poppy with copic markers : Skin : E13, 11, 21, 00, 000 Hair : E59, 57, 55, 53 Clothes : R89, 85, 83, 81, C1, 00 Mushroom : R56, 46, 29, 27, 24, E44, 43, 42, 41 Ladybug : R29, 27, E43, 42, 41, 40 Leaves and flowers : YG67, 63, Y35, V95, 93, 91 Grass : YG25, 13 I hope you like my first card shared here ;) Hugs Céline
