Good morning everybody! It is the first day of May! The Netherlands has a new king and, almost as important ;), we are welcoming a new team of fabulous Guest Designers! It also means we'll have to say goodbye to the lovely team that decorated both our blog and our Facebook page this past month. Thank you so much Annette Connelly, Carol van der Westhuizen, Dena Concienne, Frouwkje van Keeken and Shannon Kromeke! Your unique personal styles were all very inspiring, we loved having you with us and we'll be checking your blogs and Facebook pages regularly to see more of your gorgeous work! We also want to take time to thank our fabulous Whimsy Guest Designer for April Simonne Clay. Your gorgeous work is always a joy to see and it was a true pleasure to pick out some of our favorites and to show them both here on our blog and on our Facebook page. We are sorry to see you go! We will introduce you to our May Whimsy Guest Designer tomorrow, it is now time to introduce you to our fabulous May Guest Design Team: *** Elise Dinolfo My name is Elise and I'm in love with cardmaking for certain! I love everything about it .. from choosing the precious images and colouring them, decorating them with flowers (loads of them preferably .. lol!), finding cute little embellishments to go with each card, and choosing papers to use. There's so many beautiful crafting items out there .. it's indeed an addiction .. but a therapeutic one at that. :) It's such an honour for me to be a Guest here at Wee Stamps .. Thank You ever so much for having me!! I'm looking forward to my time with you! Big Hugs! This is one of the gorgeous creations by Elise with Wee Stamps' Hazel *** *** Louise Fraenell Hi everyone! My name is Louise Fraenell and I'm a 34 year old paper player from Sweden. I live just outside Malmoe with my beloved family, hubbys name is Johan and we have two cute daughters. Not that I'm at all biased ;) I tend to use all of my spare time in my crafty corner. I discovered this amazing hobby in 2009 when I had noticed some lovely creations and wanted to have a go myself, I don't have to tell you it was love at first sight ha? ;) I usually create cards but sometimes every now and then a LO gets scrapped too. I would describe my style as a scandinavian romance / shabby chic one. I do LOVE stamps so they always find their way to my creations too. One of my absolute favorite brands is WEE stamps, they fit right into my romantic sceneries. Im hugely honored to be here. With love, Louise This is one of the gorgeous creations by Louise using Wee Stamps' Rose's Bike Ride *** *** Anke Soeters Hello, I am Anke Soeters and I've been making cards for about three years now. I started together with my daughter Tessa who made 3D cards. Who didn't start that way? When I discovered stamping and coloring I was sold. A new addiction had been born. Most of my cards I color with distress inks and H2O. I find it to be a very relaxing thing to do and I make something just about every day. I think being a Guest Designer for Wee Stamps is fabulous and a huge honor. Fabulous stamps to play with and they are superb to color. Thank you for this chance! This is one of Anke's gorgeous creations using Wee Stamps' Amy *** *** Jacqui Bourne My name is Jacqui and I live in West Oxfordshire UK. After the sudden death of my husband Bryan in March 2009 I couldn't get back into my quilting. I was watching TV one day and came across the craft channel. I decided to give card making a go. Well that was in December 2011 and I haven't looked back since. I started stamping around April 2012 and it wasn't long before I found Wee Stamps. My first Wee Stamp was Wee Florist and she is still my favourite. I love the cute faces on the girls and still find colouring a challenge. I have now bought a few digi stamps and am getting use to them although I still prefer the rubber. This is one of the gorgeous projects by Jacqui using Wee Stamps' Suzi with Bunny *** Shelly Stead My name is Shelly and I'm a 30 something wife and mummy from the UK. I've been crafting for over ten years now and card making is my passion, although I'm always willing to try something new. I particularly love stamping and can sit for hours quite content just colouring in images! I am so proud to have been picked as one of the Guest Designers for May for Wee Stamps and look forward to showing you my creations And this is one of the gorgeous projects by Shelly using Wee Stamps' Ruby *** Aren't those some beautiful cards? Welcome to Wee Stamps ladies!! We are very excited to have you on board and can't wait to see the new projects you'll have in store for us this month. We'll be back tomorrow with our May Whimsy Guest Designer! And remember if you want to be one of our Guest Designers in the future info can be found HERE. Hugs,

Morning everyone! Hope you are doing well. It's been very cold here recently, in fact when I finally got home from work last night, it was so cold my hands just couldn't craft....all my plans were completely awry. Luckily I'd finished this little cutie a couple of days ago. This is Sweetie, one of Whimsy Stamps' new stamps from their Wee collection by Sylvia Zet. I just love Sylvia's sweet images and this one is no exception. I coloured her with my distress ink markers on Langton hot press water colour paper. Vintage Photo, Spun Sugar, Victorian Velvet, Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, Walnut Stain, Crushed Olive mixed with Bundled Sage, Hickory Smoke. I you would like to see how I colour with Distress Ink markers, I've started a series of tutorials on my YouTube channel here. I gave her dress and wings a generous coating of Wink of Stella, but it's very hard to pick up on camera, you can just see some of it on the above close up shot. I coloured her to match these lovely Maja Design papers from my stash. I finished my cards with the following gorgeous embellishments from The Ribbon Girl. Ophelia Lace Vintage Pink Wild Roses 20 mm Pale Pink Open Roses Sweetheart Blossom White Beaded Berries Ivory/Cream Pink Beaded Crystal Leaves Rose Petal Pink Vintage Style Seam Binding Cheesecloth Shabby Pink Ruffled Ribbon 6 mm Ivory Flat Back Pearls I'd like to enter the following challenges: Addicted to Stamps and more - Anything Goes 7 Kids College Fund - Anything Goes - Top 3 Magnolia-licious Tuesday Challenge - Bingo (Pearls, Lace, Ribbon Well that's all from me today, I do hope you liked my card, I have to admit that I'm really rather chuffed with it! :) xx

Happy Tuesday, all! I am in full-on Valentine-making mode! Today's card features the sketch from Atlantic Hearts: I missed these papers in the Most Adored package, so I decided to put them to use on my card today, along with some other current goodies: My small embossed hearts are from the Adoring Hearts Hybrid die and embossing folder as well as the Radiating Stitches dies, and the larger heart is from the Hooray for Surprises die. The banner is embossed with the retired Dotty Hearts embossing folder. The "love" is from the Love For You dies. The only stamping on the outside are the wee little hearts from the Hooray for Surprises die, and they're accented with some red rhinestones: I stamped the same little hearts around the Valentine sentiment from Throughout The Year: Flirty Flamingo and Poppy Parade were my featured colors! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed! A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. Proverbs 17:17 Project Details—All Products SU! I love Whimsy Stamps and I had so much fun colouring this one in recently. The card was for a friend of my daughters for her birthday. The image is from Whimsy Stamps and is called Rowan Fairy. I'm pretty sure (my memory is shocking!) but I think I bought this stamp as a digi (which I don't think is available anymore) but you can still buy it as a rubber stamp. I've printed her out on X-Press It blending card and coloured with Copics. Copic colours used Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E04 and R20 for blush Hair: Y23, E11, E15, E25, and E09 (may have used E23 too??) Clothes (blue): B91, B93, B95, B97 and B99 Clothes (white): C1 and C3 and 0 Berries: R22, R29, R59 and C5 Leaves: YG03, YG17, G94 and G99 Branch: E21, E23, E25, E27 and tincy bit of E29 Wings: BG90, BG93, BG96 and BG99 Background: W3 and W5 I've cut around the image, added some chunky white Frantage embossing powder and then matted with some red Bazzill textured card. The blue DP I've used is from My Minds Eye and the green DP is from (I think) Meg's Garden. The Doily is a white paper doily that I've inked with some Distress Ink Fired Brick. The lace is from my stash (could be Creativ brand?) The flowers are also from my stash (had them for years) and I've added some large sprinkles (half white pearls) to the centres. The dragonfly is also from my stash (pretty sure it was bought from Kmart years ago). The two leaves I've used are Bazzill textured card diecut with Marianne Designs Creatables Branch Forest die and Spellbinders Foliage Two die. I've added some Stickles glitter to finish off the card - Key Lime to part of the leaves and Stardust to part of the wings. Thanks for looking!

Hello again!!! First you don’t hear anything from me for years and then I keep posting one project after another 😜. But I got these stamps a few days ago from Cloud 9 Crafts and I had to ink them up right away. They are from My Favorite Things (https://www.cloud9crafts.nl/collections/my-favorite-things/products/my-favorite-things-magical-friends-clear-stamps), a brand I have adored for a long time, ever since Inge Groot joined their team actually, but always found to expensive to import myself. I was so happy to find them now in a Dutch Craftstore and the lady behind Cloud 9 Crafts is super quick in shipping.... my second order has already been placed 😳😖. Anyway, my crafting fiend Krista Huysman has never made it a secret that she’d love to own one of my projects 😘. So I decided to make this project for her gorgeous little lady Annalynn. I bought this piggy bank years ago to pimp but never used it. I was a little to late in taking a picture of my little pieces 😖. And finally the back. The Copic markers I used are: Greens: YG97, G94, YG63, YG23, YG13, YG11, YG03, YG01, YG0000 Pinks: R89, R85, R83, R81, RV000 Skin: E21, E00, E000, E0000 Hair: E57, E55, E53, E51, E50 Cups: YR27, YR24, YR23, YR21, YR20 I hope you, and especially Krista, like this project. Hugs, Mariska

Happy Sunday, everyone! Jaydee is our Paper Players hostess this week with a fabulous sketch! I just love sketches! Here's what she came up with: I went with a square-shaped card and pulled out my neglected Nests of Winter DSP! This card features almost all paper....only one wee little stamp: I paired the twig paper with some Country Lace paper and diecut the bird from the Nests of Winter paper as well, using the Winterly Tree Tops dies. I mounted him on a couple of diecut circles, stamped the word "peace" from Iconic Imagery and finished it off with some sequins and a Moody Mauve mat: I added a sentiment from the retired set called Greatest Part of Christmas: Easy and simple to let the paper do most of the work! I hope you'll be inspired by our sketch and will play along with us at the Paper Players blog! See you there! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU! Hello everyone! I hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend! Oh.My.Word - you know how sometimes you make a card ... and you just get ridiculously over excited...well here is THAT card! (Thank you Hazel France for such a fabulous photo)! I made this card with two amazing stamp sets from Whimsy Stamps Gnome For Christmas Clear Stamps by Crissy Armstrong Gnome For The Holidays Clear Stamps by Crissy Armstrong and one of the fabulous Whimsy Stamps innovations, Slimline Card Builder Die I have put together a little tutorial to show you how I masked and stamped this Gnomie panorama... I die cut a piece of Kraft card with the Card Builder Die and stamped the first gnomes right in the centre. ...then I stamped and created a mask with my favourite masking paper (Judikins Eclipse) and put it over the top of the original stamped gnomes. (The best way to create the mask is to cut very carefully just into the black outline so that you can line up you images without any gaps) I then placed a piece of clear acetate over the card and stamped my second gnome onto it. I do this as it helps to see what the design will look like and I can make sure the images are lined up how I like them! ...I repeated this with the third gnome... I then masked the second and third gnomes... ...and stamped the final two images onto acetate again to line them up. I stamped the two final gnomies and then peeled off the masking paper - the reveal is my favourite part! This is how the gnomie scene looked - and I have to confess I was pretty happy! I settled down to do some colouring with my Prismacolor pencils, lashings of tea and the odd chocolate biscuit! - such FUN! ...it was worth every colourful minute! Thank you so much for popping by! I couldn't wait to use this stamp to creat a card for my friend. We've had an ongoing inside joke about Giraffes for a couple of years now. When I saw this stamp set, I knew I had to create a card for her with it. lol
HI, Céline here with my first DT post here. I fell in love with this "Poppy" stamp of the January New release. And as a fan of red I have to make her in red. I've made a square base card with an insert card where a message can be added in the double scallop doily. On my square base I've added a piece of paper with some ruffle ribbon bordures. To frame the image I've used Hand Stitched Nested Rectangles, layered on a piece of red cardstock. As it's a birthday card I've used Birthday large word die. To decorate, I've added some flowers with Honeycomb pattern and vines set dies. I've colored poppy with copic markers : Skin : E13, 11, 21, 00, 000 Hair : E59, 57, 55, 53 Clothes : R89, 85, 83, 81, C1, 00 Mushroom : R56, 46, 29, 27, 24, E44, 43, 42, 41 Ladybug : R29, 27, E43, 42, 41, 40 Leaves and flowers : YG67, 63, Y35, V95, 93, 91 Grass : YG25, 13 I hope you like my first card shared here ;) Hugs Céline
Happy Sunday, peeps! Hope you're having a great weekend! It's my turn to hostess at the Paper Players this week, and I've chosen a rich monochromatic palette for you to play with: For my card, I began with the FMS sketch: and the Blooms and Wishes and Beautiful Bouquet stamp sets: I randomly stamped the floral images in the three challenge colors on a circular panel, then matted it with another circle of Berry Burst. I did a banner sentiment with Rich Razzleberry, and I found some Sweet Sugarplum glimmer ribbon for my horizontal piece...I love the way it shines and accents the sequins from my stash as well!: Another birthday card for my July stash! I hope you'll play with these colors! The DT has made some beautiful samples! Be sure to check them all out: Claire Jaydee Joanne Laurie Nance Sandy Deanne Annie Jan Friday we went to the neighbors' to go swimming...as soon as Cassidy and Lee jumped into the pool, they found this teeny tiny frog....it's so tiny, you can barely see it! Of course, they had to take turns putting it on each others' heads: Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU!
