I think Peekaboo Peach might be my first favorite of the new in colors. I say first, because I usually end up liking most, if not all of them as time goes by. And, as entertained as I am by Stampin' Up's fun two word color names, I just keep calling this orange. It's the orange of summer and the beach, it's the sweetest orange ever. If you're wondering what is this new in colors talk? Click here: Audra's first in color blog post. So let's sit back and enjoy Peekaboo Peach: Here are all the colors in super cute mini box form: Come on back tomorrow and take a look at Dapper Denim. Stay Crafty!

Have you been enjoying my posts this week highlighting the new products and Onstage? I hope it has given you a taste of what we experienced at the event. We had such a fantastic time. I loved spending time with my Crazy Crafters team and from the feedback I have received from there - they had a fabulous time too. We celebrated our 10th year of Stampin' Up!® in the South Pacific which was very cool! I will be celebrating my 7th year next month which I am so happy about. I am so thrilled with what joining Stampin' Up!® has done for Bruno and I. We will be off to Europe next month thanks to Stampin' Up!® Here were the 10year anniversary cupcakes. So beautifully decorated. Here are some more of the incredible displays with new products that we got to have a look at. It was SERIOUS eye candy! PROJECT LIFE! Some of you may know that I am currently holding an online Project Life® by Stampin' Up!® Party on Facebook. We have demonstrators and others that are wanting to find out more about Project Life and how they can make it work for them. I would love you to jump in and see if it is something that you would like to see if it is a product that works for you. When asked the question "What would you take with you, besides loved ones, if your house went on fire or a flood was happening?" Many who are asked that question often will say that PHOTOS are their most precious possessions in a time of emergency. Many who have gone through a natural disaster will return to their home in the hopes of being able to salvage some of those precious memories. Are you treating your photos this way? Everyday many of us are losing precious memories because we are NOT PRINTING THEM. They are on our phones or PCs and they are getting LOST. Don't lose those precious memories. More than ever we can capture the most incredible memories and yet we are not treating them with care or love. It's time to change that. This year is my memory keeping year. Are you going to join me? Instead of "embossing" the impression into the paper, I inked the inside of the folder and pressed Whisper White Cardstock on top of the folder to stamp the lines. This embossing folder will be available with the new OCCASIONS CATALOG which goes live on January 4. Here's a picture of that folder - Item #143241: These are only a few of great products you will see from Stampin' Up! in the new year - Get Ready!!! Hello Stampers! Here is one of the very first cards I have made using the "Beautiful You" stamp set available soon in the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog that goes live on January 4th. Sale-a-Bration, Stampin' Up!'s biggest sale of the year, starts at the same time!! Very few supplies were needed for this card. I did this one using the Stamp-a-ma-jig to get the figures very close to each other. I did another card without using the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It turned out good too but the figures were a little further apart. This is a regular size A2 card (finished size 5.5" x 4.25") I stamped all the ladies first with Tuxedo Black memento ink then stamped all but one dress with Smokey Slate ink. Finally I stamped the sentiment and the last dress in Real Red classic ink. The 'Hello You' thinlits were used to cut the "you" out of Real Red card stock.Very subtle and hard to see on the photo are the three tiniest pearls I added for a necklace on the lady in red. Hope you love the simplicity as much as I do. Click on the icon below to get everything you need for this project...except the Beautiful You stamp set which will not be available until January 4th. Hello once again my Friends Do we *ever* have a fun blog hop for you today. You'll get to see lots and lots of lovely new sneak peeks from the 2016-2017 Annual catalogue. And trust me - your wish list for the new catalogue is going to grow and grow! You may be just starting the blog hop here (I'm Cynthia Millan) - or you may have come from the previous person to me on the list. If you get off track at any time, the full lineup is listed at the bottom. But while you are here, let me show you my simple but super project. There are lots of beautiful new stamp sets to show you, but I didn't want you to miss the lovely hostess sets at the back of the catalogue so I am using one of the great images from the Fabulous Flora hostess set. Earlier this week I made a simple and quick card to highlight this set for my team members - but I used the beautiful silver foil vellum that is available right now, and that is retiring at the end of May. Knowing that I love this look, I decided I could create my own designer vellum so that this card could be completely current and reproducible! My very own "Designer Vellum" on the card on the left -- retired Silver Foil Vellum on the card on the right. I borrowed an idea from my friend, Lisa Curcio, and used Tear&Tape adhesive to create silver embossed stripes. In a nutshell, I laid a piece of our cardstock vellum onto our silicon craft sheet and then laid strips of Tear&Tape adhesive diagonally across it. I trimmed the overhanging tape, removed the protective coating and poured silver embossing powder over the exposed sticky strips. Heat emboss, and voila....gorgeous designer vellum! Tear&Tape Across Vellum (on silicon mat) After applying silver powder and heating - Embossed Designer Vellum Gorgeous and fun too, am I right? Returning to the card itself, the flower image was stamped using versamark ink onto a piece of Whisper White then silver embossing powder was added and heated. I love the crisp look of the silver and white with our new In Color, Dapper Denim, don't you? Some silver metallic thread and the luscious Dapper Denim 3/8" Ruched Ribbon finish this card off quite nicely! Hope you like my project. I'll try to give you a video version of how I created my Designer Vellum when I have a bit more time. For now - you should be getting ready to enjoy some more terrific projects from my friends! Don't forget to check out all the blogs and leave comments to let us know what you think! I'd stay and chat but I, quite literally, have TONS left to do! I'm off to finish my swaps for the Mediterranean Cruise. Thanks to SU!, hubby and I are flying to Barcelona on the weekend where we'll meet up with hundreds of amazing demos from all over the world (you met a bunch of them as you hopped through these projects!) and we'll cruise aboard the Norwegian Epic to Italy and France with all of them. Can't wait to enjoy this week with my friends. Not a lot of wifi on board ship so I'll hope to post pics when I get home. But until then, enjoy this hop through some gorgeous projects! And get ready for June 1 when you can order from the new catalogue too! Have a wonderful week ahead. And thanks for popping by. God Bless, ~Cynthia <><
Hello and welcome to the ESAD 2016-17 Annual catalogue blog hop. You may have hopped here from Lou's blog or if you are just starting then I hope you enjoy our hop we have for you today. “What is ESAD? ESAD stands for "Extra Special Australasian Demonstrators" and is a facebook group just for Australian and New Zealand Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrators. We love what we do & love to share with our customers, friends and blog visitors. We also share what we love in our ESAD Demonstrator community, through swaps, challenges, sharing knowledge, ideas& friendship and we're always there to help and support each other. So if you are a Stampin' Up! demonstrator located in Australia or New Zealand then please feel free to leave me a comment with your email address then I'll contact you with information on how to join our group.” It has been so exciting playing with new product from the new catalogue. I was lucky enough to stamp off a few images from the hostess set Love You Lots from a friend and then made these cards using the new nesting square framelits as well. Aren't they so cute. Of course the set is now on my wish list. The hostess set Gift of Love is another set I really like as even though its a 3 step stamp I added some shading to give the flowers more depth. I have used paper from the Playful Pallet DSP stack. I saw this little owl made using stamps from Swirly Bird and thought I would give him a go. Its quite amazing how many ideas I have seen using this set. This card I made as a Tri fold card and as I had coloured and cut lots of flowers from the set Love and Affection, I decided to just glue them on the front and then cut around the edge and add some more flowers on the right flap inside. I wasn't going to buy this set but now am glad I did as I have enjoyed making cards with this. That's all for today from me but if you hop on over to Richelle's Blog there will be more lovely projects for you to see. Have fun! Andrea BLOG HOP PARTICIPANTS: 1. Hi All! I’ve been away from blogging for a few weeks with the stamping convention in Utah and a trip to see my customers and team in Florida. I finally feel caught up and can share some SNEA…
Welcome to the Hello! Annual Catalog 2016-2017 Blog Hop! You’ll be hopping around 11 amazing Stampin’ Up!® Independent Demonstrators blo...
I used the awesome Stampin’ Up! stamp sets called Beautiful You and Suite Sentiments from the upcoming 2017 Occasions Catalog to create my card to share today. I thought that the timing was …
Well. Let me start out by saying, I wasn't prepared to love this stamp set and die bundle as much as I do. In fact, if it hadn't been in the preorder (or certain other stamp sets that I was dying to get my hands on were!) I probebly wouldn't have gotten this set for some months. It was on my wish list, but quite a way down..... But. I can honestly say, I have never used a bundle quite as much, (in such a short space of time) OR loved the resulting creations as much, as I have done with the swirly birds stamp set and matching dies. It's true. I must confess. I love swirly birds, and I love the matching swirly scribbles dies. I really do. They are an amazing set, with the potential for huge variety. (And, joy of joys- if you buy them together, you will get 10% off!) Pairing them with a set like.... Sprinkles of life, or playful pals... Well the variety is almost endless! Here are some samples: Swirly bird kite emerald Envy Swirly bird flower Swirly bird Kite Sprinkles of life clouds . Swirly bird climbing roses I love this card. I want to give due credit to the lovely demonstrator who inspired my card-Ilina Crouse. If you click on the picture above, it will take you to her original post. Ilina Crouse Swirly bird, with bird eggs and swirly scribbles nest. Swirly scribbles nest, playful pals bird Nest tutorial: Did you see those cute nests in the last 2 samples? Here's how you make them! 1. Cut out the "leafy" scribble in the die set 2. Place the die on a contrasting piece of card stock, and trace around it with a pencil. You can skip the leaves of you like. :-) 3. Cut it out 4. Cut the die cut card stock into a nest shape. 5. Put the "nest" on where it will go on the constructing backing piece. Mark the spot with a pencil for future reference. DO NOT GLUE IT YET. 6. Cut up the remaining "swirly die cut" piece into "twigs" 7. Weave these pieces through your nest. Tweezers are very helpful here! 8. Glue in place with a fine tip glue. 9. Position your nest over the backing piece, and glue down-but leaving the top unglued. Let dry completely. 10. Because the top is unglued, you can now trim neatly so the edge cannot be seen. after it is trimmed, you can secure with glue if needed. 11. Add a bird and some eggs if desired! (Bonus Bird Tip- I used the little negative pieces from the swirly scribbles die cut for the plume of the playful pals bird in my new nest!) Playful pals bird, with swirly scribbles "plume" I hope you enjoyed my post-are you looking forward to the new catalog yet? if you haven't got a demonstrator, please feel free to contact me, id love to send you out one! Have a great day- and fit in some creative therapy if you can!

Welcome back to part 2 of my On Stage Samples using Nailed It and Urban District. Lots more ideas for those men in your life, especialy for Father's Day. Part of the brief for our samples was to include some 3-D items as well as cards. One of my creations was a gift card holder. With the tool stamp set and framelits I wanted one of my creations to look like a tool box. The 'D' and the 'A' are from the Urban District set. I love all the little intricate details in them. All different things representing Dads. Loving the look of the Hexagon embossing folder in the Silver Foil. Reminds me of checker plate. Just a quick card using a strip of DSP and some ribbon and trim. The DSP was a left over piece that was sitting on my desk when I started making this card and it just happened to work out for this creation. Got to love those scraps sitting around. The last one is a water colour wash background and then again using the 'D' and 'A' from Urban District embossed onto vellum and then accented with piece of the silver foil embossed with the Hexagon embossing folder. How fabulous are those Urban Underground Embellishments?? They really add to that grungy look. That's it for part 2. Stay tuned tomorrow for the last part of my On Stage samples. Thanks so much for stopping by! Tweet

Here is one of the sets that we won at Onstage - the Baby Bear Stamp set. I have a feeling that this set will be very popular! The bear is a three step stamp set - which gives it the realistic look. I used Sahara sand and then Soft Suede for the next two layers. The little bow is using Pink Pirouette on both layers. The background I used the perpetual Birthday Calendar stamp set. I thought it added a special touch without taking away from that gorgeous bear. Here are some of the amazing displays that I got to see too - There is more to come so make sure you subscribe to my blog so you don't miss an update this week. I have so much to show you! Here are just a few of the displays.... mmm who is that cheeky face???
Hello and Welcome back to our Sunday Night blog hop!! What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday night - especially when we've hit a very cold spell for winter here in Sunny Queensland!! It might even get down to about 5 degrees Celsius tonight which is mighty cold for us!! This week we are CASEing the Love and Sympathy Chapter - and this chapter has some of my FAVOURITE new products in it!! I have absolutely LOVED playing with the Flourishing Phrases stamp set and the coordinating Flourish Thinlits .... so I've CASED these 2 lovely projects in the catalogue. My first is a CASE of the card at the bottom of page 51 - I really love the little embellishment cluster at the top of the greeting circles, and so - here is my little creation of this card. I've used the lovely Rose Wonder stamp set for my greeting, and in the background I stamped Crumb Cake ink with Work of Art and then used my aqua painter to swish and blend the colour around. My embellishment colours are: Peekaboo Peach and Emerald Envy along with some of our new Very Vanilla lace trim - and it's so pretty isn't it? My second card is CASED from the top of page 49 - it's super simple and lovely to make. I'd had so much fun using my Big Shot with all the lovely framelits, that when I made this card, I really enjoyed using that elaborate flourish stamp - doesn't it look amazing!! Ok, if you've been inspired by the great projects and ideas in this chapter of the Catalogue, make sure you join in with the fun - there is so much to inspire you!! When you've made your creation, make sure you add it to our challenge link, and we'll be inspired by your work too!! Now, it's time for you to keep hopping along with all the great projects from the whole design team!! And if you wish to see the blog post for CASEing the Catty, simply use this link and you'll see the complete list of all the design team and links to their blogs - enjoy!! And we'll see you next week again!!
